Narrator's POV

"For as long as time itself, I've had this recurring dream..."

White flash showed the Bone Mech and the Lady Bone Demon in her true form, standing on top of it before the mech swings down a blade, piercing it in the middle of the city; burning and destroying the world.

"At first, its meaning was unclear... Now, I know it was a premonition..."

The Lady Bone Demon's voice echoed throughout the now frozen megapolis.

"The very moment I finally achieved my ambition: To perfect this imperfect world"

At the top of the Bone Mech, Lady Bone Demon was there with her arms behind her back before she looked over her shoulder and asked with a grin "Wouldn't you agree, Funneh?" and after she mentioned her name, the blue-haired young woman was seen thrown on the ground as she was covered in bruises and her side was bleeding again with her clothing revealing a blood stain before Funneh spits out blood and managed to look up and glares at the grinning 'Not Mayor', who was flexing his hand as he was the one who had given Funneh a beating as it was ordered by the Lady Bone Demon and then the young woman looks behind him and saw her siblings and childhood best friend imprisoned in the ice as they were struggling to break free or too tired and then she also noticed Monkey King's staff, the Elemental Staff of Might and Lady Irene's staff were frozen in place by the ice.

"What's the point of bringing us here anyways? What are you gonna do? Kill us?!" Funneh sneered at the Bone Demon, who simply smirks before replying "I would love too, but it would only be pointless; especially when one member or all of you can harness the Elemental Staff of Might since the Mighty Five's blood runs through you along with Lady Irene's descendant can wield that woman's staff. And after all, destiny cannot be undone~" and having enough of her nonsense, Rainbow yelled at the Bone Demon "It doesn't matter what you think about all the negativity! The world is perfect as it is! You're the one causing all this pain and destruction on everybody, and you know it!".

This caused the Lady Bone Demon to give Rainbow a cold stare, sending a shivering chill in the oldest Krew member's back before the Bone Demon looks forward again before saying with a wicked grin "The Samadhi Fire is the final piece of the game: A tool destiny has gifted me to complete my work" and this made Funneh angry as she said trying to get up, but was too weak "You will never get your hands on the Samadhi Fire!" but Lady Bone Demon simply ignored her as the 'Not Mayor' was kneeling beside the Bone Demon before speaking eagerly "Then allow me to retrieve it for you, my Lady~" and Funneh growled at him before the Lady Bone Demon simply said "No need. Fate will deliver it in time" and after she finished her sentence, Monkey King suddenly crashed landed in front of them while wearing his battle armor from the past as it has a pale yellow chest piece with pauldrons.

"Ah, your timing couldn't be more perfect, Sun Wukong" Monkey King glares at her before noticing an injured and beaten Funneh on the ground and also noted the Krew and Aphmau were trapped in ice as his eyes soften on them before glaring back at the Bone Demon as she began mocking him, "It appears your quest to use the power of the Samadhi Fire to destroy me hasn't gone quite according to plan. Why else would you show up unarmed with no friends for backup?" and this made Monkey King growl at her before saying while glaring daggers at the Bone Demon "I didn't need the Samadhi Fire to put you away last time. Figured I could make do without it".

"Oh, my power has far surpassed what it was when we last met in battle. Even now I sense you do not have what it takes to defeat me" Lady Bone Demon said and Monkey King simply said "Hmph. That won't stop me from trying" and then the 'Not Mayor' says with a hint of venom in his voice "A hero to the end! How delightful" and then Lady Bone Demon giggles before saying "No backup and no weapon? So your plan is to... fistfight a child~?" and this pissed off Lunar for Lady Bone Demon using her daughter figure as leverage before Monkey King stated "We both know that's not what you are". Despite still being angry with him, Gold was worried for him as she managed to say "Wukong... Don't...!" and this made Monkey King look at her for a moment and his eyes soften before he summoned his powers and charges at Lady Bone Demon with his fist raised.

Meanwhile in a Hidden Training Ground

In a forest far away, Ally was meditating under a small shrine as she was trying to concentrate on controlling the fire while wearing a ninja-like training outfit with a cloak on that has a print of the Samadhi Fire while her hairstyle is in a crown braid style.

The young girl takes a deep breath before a spear slices through the air as it was heading towards Ally, who quickly dodges it and somersaults above the other spears that were thrown at her before dodging some more even faster with her agility as the maroon fire danced under her feet before she looked back with a glare while feeling the fire and at the same time keeping it under control. Soon Ally was surrounded by more spears, trapping her in a makeshift cage and this made the young girl angry and let out a yell while releasing the Samadhi Fire, making a huge blast of fire and the surrounding around her shakes. "NO! The Samadhi Fire doesn't control me!!" Ally yelled before she began concentrating "Breathe..." and then takes a deep breath with both of her hands hovering over her chest and opens her eyes as they glowed white while the young girl focuses and creates a shield around herself, stopping more spears in mid-air while melting the heads on the spears in the process and then when she clasped her hand together, Ally pushes the spears back with the force of the fire.

Afterwards, the young girl was completely exhausted as she collapsed on the ground and sighs. "Not bad, little sister" Red Son says in a sassy talk before he jumps down and examines one of the spears before adding "But not great either" and Red son began scolding her as he pulled one of the half-melted spears out of the pillar and pointed at the spearhead "Do you know how hard it is source authentic 7th century modao? Think about that next time you lose your cool-" and while he was talking, Ally looked a little annoyed before she began making faces behind his back when...

"OOF!!" the pillar breaks and Red son was suddenly conked on the head by a piece of the temple root before he falls over with a worried Ally looking at him. Footsteps were heard, making the young girl look up and saw Vulko walking up to them as he stared at the fire demon for a moment before saying "Despite what he said, I believe your agility was quite impressive, but you still have much more to learn and do, young one" and this made Ally nod before she looks at Red son for a second before looking back at Vulko and asked sheepishly "You don't perhaps have any ice on you and something to eat?" and then a sigh escaped from Vulko's mouth before a small smile appeared on his face.

An Hour Later

The trio were sitting in a temple as Ally was happily chowing down an entire basket of fruit, Red son holding an ice pack on his head while Vulko was sharpening his weapon. "I didn't realize how hungry I was. You sure you don't want any?" Ally offered an peeled orange to Red son, who sighs and says "I'm fine, thank you" and this made Ally giggled a bit before she turned her attention to Vulko, who was still sharpening his weapon as she asks "Um... Mister Vulko? Can I ask you a question?".

The man let out a hum as he was waiting for Ally to say her question and then the young girl spoke her question "What happened to you? How did you end up getting injured when you found us?" and this made Vulko stop as it was quiet for a moment before he sighed. Ally began to panic as she started stammering "I-I'm sorry! You don't have to answer if you don't-!" but the man simply lets out a chuckle and says softly to the young girl "Don't worry, young one. You did not offend me in any way..." and then he looked away as his eyes shadowed before he spoke "I was badly wounded by the former goddess Mikina, who was looking for Funneh as she demanded me to tell her my student's whereabouts, but I refused. And in return, she wounded me with the Lady Bone Demon's power she somehow possessed and left me for dead. Thankfully, a nice witch by the name Hyria along with her daughter Lucinda found me and patched me up. After that, I left my home in order to find my students and make sure that they were safe".

After he finished the story, Ally and Red son were both completely stunned and shocked by this and then the young girl asked "Wait, what do you mean students?" and Vulko looks at her and says "Funneh is my first student, but a while later, I had another pupil as she goes by the name Vee" and this surprised Ally as she asks "You know Vee?!" and Vulko nods with a soft smile as he says "Yes. I found her lost in the forest a while back and I took her under my wing" and this made Ally go silent before she looked away while placing the empty basket to the side. "Once you're done eating and resting, we'll resume your training" Red son said to her before he and Vulko both noticed the silence as the fire demon asked the young girl "Is something wrong?".

"I'm just worried"

"About what?" Red son asked and Ally looks at her hands and starts to say "What if I fail everyone? What if I can't fully control this power? I don't want to hurt the people I care about..." and then she buried her face in her lap as Red son stares at her before recalling his uncontrollable state when he was a child before he sighs and placed his hand on Ally's shoulder, causing the young girl to look up at him "My parents have succumbed to the Lady Bone Demon's power, like countless others. You, the Noodle Boy and your friends will stop at nothing to free them. That's how I know you won't lose control. Little sister, you are our last hope at defeating that demon" and this made Ally think for a moment before a small smile appeared on her face.

"You're right. Thank you for the motivation, Big brother Red son. I needed that" Ally said before hugging him while smiling brightly as Red son blushes a little before he cleared his throat and slightly pushed her away from him. Vulko then walks in front of the duo as he looks at Ally and asks as he tossed a training sword towards her and the young girl caught it "Are you ready to continue your training now, young one?" and Ally stares at the sword for a moment before she smirks and spins the sword a bit as the young girl had a determined look on her face.



"I'm ready..."

Back in Megapolis

Monkey King and the Lady Bone Demon were both fighting each other in a fierce battle in the skies, clashing together in gold and blue as the Bone Demon was more on defense than the simian himself. Lady Bone Demon launched an ice towards Monkey King, who easily smashed it and the two grunt as Lady Bone Demon flew away before raising her hands and created a barrier with seals around it in hopes of stopping Monkey King, but he easily broke through it and charged at the Bone Demon, who quickly teleported away and Monkey King was about to go after her when the 'Not Mayor' appears behind the simian. "Might I have this dance, Your Majesty~?" the 'Not Mayor' asked mockingly before laughing and launched an attack.

Meanwhile somewhere else, Mk, Ao Bing and Nezha arrived in a safe distance away from the battle scene. "So, this is the power of the Lady Bone Demon. I'd heard tales, but I've never experienced it first hand. Even from here, I can feel her wretched aura" Nezha said. "Yeah" Mk said with his eyes shadowed and then Ao Bing adds "So do I...".

"No kidding, but you should be happy you don't have to hear constant whispers" a voice comments, making the three jump and turned around to see Macaque with Vee on his back. "Macaque! What are you doing here and why is Vee here?!" Mk asked as he was concerned for the young basilisk, who gets off of the shadow monkey's back. "Isn't it obvious? I'm here to beat the living shit out of her and that mayor" Macaque said as he grits his teeth and clenched his fist. "I came because I want help big sister Funneh. She protected me and now it's my turn to help and protect her and nobody's going to change my mind" Vee says with a determined look. Macaque was about to enter the fight when Ao Bing shoved something into the shadow monkey's hands.

"Just look inside" Ao Bing said, making Macaque confused before shrugging it off as he looked at the object and was drawn from whatever was in there.



"Wow! What is it?! Some type of magical tool from the Celestial Realm?!" Mk asked excitingly before Ao Bing rubbed the back of his neck and admitted "Uh... Actually, it's a kaleidoscope. I got it from a store from the last time I came here".

"Oh..."

With Macaque focusing on the kaleidoscope, Mk, Nezha, Ao Bing and Vee turned their gaze back to the fight before the Lotus Prince landed on the ground as he said "I fear Monkey King was right. The Samadhi Fire, the Elemental Staff of Might and Lady Irene's staff are the best chances we have at stopping her" and then his eyes shadowed as he muttered to himself "If I'd only been faster, I could've saved Funneh" and the Dragon Prince heard this, but decided not to say anything as Nezha says "The fool never should've taken off on his own. Let's make this quick. Get in, get Monkey King, Aphmau and the Krew and regroup with the others" and just before he, Ao Bing and Vee were about to take off when Mk spoke, stopping them "Wait! What if... What if Monkey King is better off without us? What if he's able to save Aph and the Krew by himself? What if we just get in his way?".

This got Vee worried and was about to say something when Nezha walked up to Mk and placed his hand on shoulder while giving him a small smile "I've known Sun Wukong a long time. He is not the loner he pretends to be. He seems important to you, so I can only assume you're equally as important to him. And from what I can tell, Aphmau and the Krew also seem important to you as well. If there's anyone who they need right now, it's you" and Mk hesitated for a moment before closing his eyes "Get in, get Monkey King, get out" and then he glared with determination.

"That's right" Nezha says as he, Vee and Ao Bing nodded at him and with that, the four rushed towards the fight.

Meanwhile on the Bone Mech

The Krew and Aphmau was still struggling to break free as Funneh had passed out for a moment on ground. "We've got to help him! But we need to get out of here first!" Gold said as she and others saw the fight happening in the sky as they started getting worried. Lunar thought of something before she looks at her siblings and Aphmau as she says "I've got an idea, but once I start one of you has to snap me out of it, got it?" and not knowing what Lunar was gonna do, the Krew and Aphmau nodded. Lunar takes a deep breath and closes her eyes and begins chanting.

"Wither and decay. End this destiny. Break these earthly chains. And set the spirit free"

Lunar's hair turned black before she opened her eyes as they were completely pitch black, shocking them. Aphmau then looks at the ice that Lunar was trapped in as it begins melting before she breathes out "It's working...".

"It's working!" Rainbow exclaimed as the ice around Lunar completely melted, but the young witch woman continued chanting.

🎶And set the spirit free🎶

"Wake up! Lunar, snap out of it!" Gold shouts, but it seems Lunar couldn't hear her nor the others.

Funneh slowly starts waking up and noticed that Lunar was in a trance with the others trying to snap her out of it. "Lunar..." Funneh mutters before she managed to get up with a grunt and slowly heads towards Lunar, catching the others' attention. "Funneh, Lunar's in a trance! You gotta snap her out of it!" Draco explained and Funneh nods as she was now in front of her little sister while holding her side. "Lunar? Lunar? Please, snap out of it. Throughout this entire journey you never gave up when we were at our lowest point. I'm not giving up on you, we need you Lunar... Bai He needs you" and after the mention of her daughter figure, Lunar's hair turned back purple along with her eyes as she gasps and would've fell on the ground if Funneh hadn't caught her quickly. "Are you okay?" Funneh asked in concern and Lunar looks at her older sister and only smiled in response.

Funneh then looks at the smiling Krew and Aphmau before she looks at Lunar and asks with a grin "Ready for a prison break?" and this made Lunar nod with a grin.

Meanwhile the fight in the sky continued as Monkey King caught himself on his cloud and quickly blocks a kick from the 'Not Mayor' as he spun around in the air before landing and throwing punches to which Monkey King dodges them with speed and caught a kick until the 'Not Mayor' front kicked Monkey King towards the ground and the sage's eyes widened as he was face to face with Lady Bone Demon raising her hand to blast him with a blue little ice ball. Monkey King managed to duck from the giant shard of ice just in time before trying to punch Lady Bone Demon, who teleports away and was above him as she creates a seal barrier behind her and fired ice shards towards Monkey King, who dodges them all and jumps off his cloud as he tries to punch her again with a battle cry when the 'Not Mayor' took advantage as he wraps his arms around Monkey King in a chokehold.

"Your attempts are futile, Sun Wukong. I have seen what the future has for you, your protégé, the Mighty Five and Lady Irene's descendants. Destiny cannot-"

Monkey King interrupts the Bone Demon with a growl "Be undone! So you keep saying! But what about this guy?! Is he in your future?!" and he breaks free of the 'Not Mayor's' hold and delivers a powerful punch, sending him crashing down to the ground. Lady Bone Demon looked stunned for a moment before looking unfazed as she said "As a matter of fact... No" and then suddenly a blast of magic hits the Bone Demon's shoulder, causing her scream in pain while Monkey King was stunned by this. Wanting to know what hit her, Lady Bone Demon looks at the Bone Mech and sees that both the Krew and Aphmau were free as Funneh had the Elemental Staff of Might in her hands as the crystal was glowing and realization came into the Bone Demon's that it was Funneh, who shot at her.

"You no good little-!" Lady Bone Demon began to sneer before noticing Monkey King charging at her again.

Meanwhile with the group, Mk and Vee both landed down on the ground as they and the two deities looked up close to the mech as they could see sparks of gold and blue. Suddenly Mk hears groaning from behind "Huh?" and he turns around to see the 'Not Mayor' in a hole looking beaten up as he says while Nezha, Ao Bing and Vee came over "Hey, that's the guy who's definitely probably not actually a real mayor" and upon seeing him again, Ao Bing growled as he was ready to kill him for what he did to his home and his Father when Nezha looks up and saw something heading towards them and gasped "Get down!" and a huge ice shard almost hits them, but the group quickly dodged just in time with Ao Bing carrying Vee in his arms.

The two deities glared at the fight with Vee holding against Ao Bing tightly as she looked scared and Mk crawled out from the ground while carrying the 'Not Mayor' as he asked "Was that Monkey King?!" and this made both Nezha and Ao Bing reply "Yes/Yeah!" and the two princes looked back at Mk and saw him carrying the 'Not Mayor' this made the Lotus Prince give him an 'Are you serious' look and the Dragon Prince gave an 'Why'd you save him' look while the young basilisk continues staring at the battle with fearful eyes. "He has the Lady Bone Demon on the defensive" Nezha said as he and Ao Bing continued looking at the battle in the sky and this surprised both Vee and Mk as he dropped the 'Not Mayor' on the ground and came over to the three as he asked while trying to see the fight "Huh? Wait, you two can actually see what's going on?".

"Yes. Well, pieces of it" Nezha said as he and Ao Bing's eyes were following them. "That... speed. Sun Wukong really was pulling his punches with me" Nezha says as he was holding onto his spear tightly in anger. "Yeah, yeah, you're upset. But is he winning?!" Ao Bing asked and then Mk said "Maybe we don't need to stop him after all" and Nezha replied back "It would appear so. But..." and at the sudden pause, Vee asked "But what?" and then she and Mk both looked back at the sky with a worried look as the four watch the battle continue.

Meanwhile in the sky, Lady Bone Demon struggled to keep fighting Monkey King as she blocked every attack with her ice that ended up getting smashed through by the sage until he kicked through one more as he was able to deliver a physical blow on her, but Lady Bone Demon caught herself and grits her teeth as she glares at him while holding her side before noticing her cheek cracking. "This body... It's too weak! I can't stop him" the Bone Demon muttered before gasping as she saw Monkey King charging towards her.

Lady Bone Demon quickly lifts her hands up forming a giant ice dome with spikes to protect her, but it was pointless as Monkey King's punch was strong enough to break through it and the Bone Demon tried shielding herself with her seal, but Monkey King kicks through her spiritual barrier and his foot comes in contact with Lady Bone Demon, causing her to crash down on top of her mech and this startled both Funneh and Gold as they were the only ones left on top of the Bone Mech with the Krew and Aphmau, who managed to get Lady Irene's staff back were already on the ground and somewhere safe. Monkey King lands on the mech before rushing over and pinned the Lady Bone Demon against an ice wall by her neck with Gold and Funneh both behind him, watching this.

"STOP! Have you forgotten?! Destroy me and you destroy the host! Have you become so desperate to end me that you would sacrifice Lunar's blameless, innocent child? Is this what your precious mother would've wanted?" Lady Bone Demon asked, making Monkey King's eyes widened along with Gold and Funneh's by this as the sage was taken aback by her words. 'Bai He will die, if we kill LBD... I won't let Lunar lose her...!' Funneh thought to herself angrily while gripping the Elemental Staff of Might tightly. "Wukong, we can't kill her! We need to find a way to get Bai He out of her first!" Gold exclaimed with a worried expression.

Monkey King suddenly glared and growled at her, "You're given me no choice! All the time you spent locked away, you haven't changed a bit! I'm going to finish you, like I should have done a long time ago instead of the Mighty Five giving up their lives!" and the sage tightened his hold on her and pushed her harder against the ice wall, making it crack while both Funneh and Gold were shocked by this sudden information. Monkey King then raised his fist and adds "I told you, you should've stayed buried!" and this made the Lady Bone Demon glare at him before she shrieked "I've come too far to let you ruin everything again!" and then she noticed Gold and Funneh both standing behind him before an idea came into her mind as a sinister grin appeared on her face, making the two young women flinch.

Suddenly Gold felt a sharp pain in her head, making her cry out in pain as she falls onto her knees while clutching her head. "Gold!!" Funneh yelled as she was to rush over to her older sister when her leg was trapped in ice preventing her from moving as Lady Bone Demon created a seal with a yell behind Gold, who didn't notice this. Back on the ground, Mk, Nezha, Ao Bing and Vee noticed something from behind and looked back to see blue spirits emerging out of the 'Not Mayor' as they headed to the top of the Bone Mech.

"Gold, Move!!!" Monkey King yelled and Gold slowly looked behind her and froze when she saw millions of blue spirits heading towards her and just when they were about to hit her when. . .

"NO!!!"

Gold was suddenly pushed away by something... or rather someone as it revealed to be Funneh, who managed to free herself from the ice and pushed her older sister out of harm's way but didn't have time to move as she felt all the spirits that Lady Bone Demon trapped over a thousand years slammed into her back, making Funneh scream in pain. "NO!! FUNNEH!!!" Gold screamed in shock and horror as Monkey King was about to save Funneh when the Bone Demon pushed him away with force, causing the sage to fall off the Bone Mech while Gold was watching her beloved sister getting possessed. Lady Bone Demon's body continued to crack, but she still focused her energy into making all the spirits unite with Funneh as the young woman was still screaming as she was trying her hardest to fight it off and from being controlled, but unfortunately Funneh felt herself losing consciousness and felt tears forming at the corner of her eyes when she saw Gold watching in complete shock, horror, fear and terror.

'Gold... I'm sorry... Protect the others from me... Please...' Funneh thought to her before she finally felt herself corrupted and possessed by the Lady Bone Demon's power and the Bone Demon grinned once the last spirit entered Funneh's body as the young woman went limp in the air for a moment before bright lights shot out from her eyes and mouth, causing Mk, Vee, Ao Bing and Nezha to use their hands to shield their faces from the light while this caught the Krew and Aphmau's attention.

"Oh, no..."

"B-Big sister Funneh..."

Mk and Vee both stared at Funneh with their eyes widened in fear and shock, Ao Bing was horrified to see that Funneh was now possessed as a shaky breath came out from his throat, Nezha's eyes widened as he was completely in shock and disbelief not wanting to believe that the girl he loves was now possessed by the Bone Demon. Gold had tears falling down from her face before Monkey King managed to get back on the Bone Mech with his magic cloud and rushed towards Gold as he held her close to him before the sage noticed Funneh was now possessed and was shocked. The Krew and Aphmau meanwhile had managed to get far away from the Bone Mech and spotted Mk, Vee, Nezha and Ao Bing in the distance and were about to head over there when they noticed the possessed Funneh in the air as their faces turned completely shocked and horrified to see their sister/friend was now under control by the Lady Bone Demon and tears began to form in Lunar's eyes as she began thinking to herself 'N-No... Not Funneh... Please not my sister!!' while Aphmau dropped Lady Irene's staff and covered her mouth in shock with tears falling down too.

Lady Bone Demon began to laugh maniacally as Funneh floated in the air with a ice blue aura surrounding her body as small rocks began to levitate off the ground while everyone was in shock and fear by the sudden event. Funneh was no longer herself as she slowly turned to the group and opened her eyes glowed ice blue and emotionless revealing that the possession has taken full control over her.
