The scene starts with Tails' Workshop. Inside, Tails is working on a device when suddenly Sonic runs in. "Tails, I need jumper cables." The speedster asked.

The kit reaches into his toolbox without looking and grabs a pair of jumper cables, which he holds up. Sonic grabs them and zooms off. Tails goes back to work. Sonic runs back yet again. "Geez, Sonic. What are you doing?" Amy asked. The blue hedgehog shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know." "Maybe he's building something." Tails guessed. "I bet he's building a chilli-dog factory." Knuckles joked.

Sonic gasped. "I wish!"

"That was a joke."

"You got any duct tape?" Sonic asked.

Tails once again reaches into his toolbox, and holds up a roll of duct tape. Sonic grabs it and runs off, but comes right back again.

"How about a battery?" Sonic asked again.

"Antimatter or self-generating?" Tails asked, still not looking away from his work.

The blue blur shrugged. "I don't know. Something with a lot of juice."

"Something with a lot of juice?" Lilac repeated, with a raised brow Carol whistled. "Whatever he's building, it might be something awesome." "Awesome and dangerous." Milla said. Just by watching a few of these episodes, she seems to understand the characteristics of these characters. Especially Tails. Milla sighed, she seemed to be fond of the kit. He was smart, cool, brave, hands- No! Milla shook her head and slapped herself. She cannot be thinking that right now. She glanced at Tails, who was still watching the screen. Especially, when he's right here. "...lla. Milla! MILLA!!!" "HUH?!" Milla looked at Lilac, who was staring at her. "Milla, are okay? You were spacing out for a bit?"

The dog's face turned slightly red. "I-I-I'm alright, L-Lilac."

Carol raised a brow, dubiously. "You sure?"

"Y-Yeah! Let's continue watching the show okay?!" Tails, still not looking away, points at the shelf. "Antimatter's on the top shelf, behind the video games."

"Thanks." Sonic said. Sonic runs over, grabs two batteries, then runs off again. Tails looks up from his work, then wonders what's going on. The kit runs outside and stops short, seeing the Tailsmobile wedged between some rocks, the fan pointing upwards. Knuckles is sitting on top, in a bucket that's duct-taped to the fan, while Sonic is next to a battery, holding the jumper cables.

Amy's mouth dropped. "What the..." "What the heck is that?" Knuckles asked. Shadow sighed. "Something stupid." "And a waste of time." Spade added. "Ha!" Sonic laughed. "Initiate "Spinning Blades of Death"!"

"Spinning Blades of Death"?" Knuckles reaped, before he shrugged. "I guess that sounds safe."

Cory shook her head. "No it isn't. You could-" She paused before she realized what she was saying. "Wait, what am I saying, of course you're going to get yourself hurt."

"And Sonic's the one at fault here." Rouge added.

Sonic groaned. "What do you always blame me when Knuckles is the one joining in as well!"

Carol snickered. "Because he's too stupid to understand on what's going to happened."

"I mean... sure, yeah, you're right." Sonic admitted, though he still didn't want his twin to take the full blame. "But I deserve respect."

"I respect you." Shadow called out.

Sonic perked up. "Really, Shads?!"

"As a copycat of myself."

The blue blur frowned. "Oh, gee, thanks."

"Don't mention it."

"Trust me I won't."

Amy clasped her hands together. "I respect you, Sonic!"

Sonic lightly chuckled. "I already know you respect me, Amy. You're my friend."

"CRACK* Amy felt her heart shattered into pieces. "You may be my hero, Sonic, but you can be a jerk sometimes!" Amy huffed as she turned around, her back facing Sonic.

Sonic blinked. "Huh?? What did I even do??"

The pinkette's back is still facing the blue speedster. "Nothing! Absolutely nothing!"

Sonic connects the jumper cables to the battery, and right at that moment Knuckles started spinning round and round.

Tails started feeling sick just by watching this.

"Whoo-hoo-hoo!" Knuckles cheered.

"Hmm, hey, Knux, you wanna-"

"Heck no."

Sonic smirked. "Activating Hyper Mode."

"Hyper mode?! Knuckles c'mon let's-"

"I said 'heck no'."

Sonic flips a switch on the side of the battery. The fan starts spinning even faster.

"Yeaaaaah!" Knuckles cheered even louder.

"See, Knuckles?! You're twin's even enjoying himself. Why don't we-"

"Sonic, if you ask me one more time, I'm gonna rip your mouth open."

Sonic's communicator beeped, and he pressed it. Amy answered, and she sounded annoyed. "Sonic, did you return the book I lent you to the library?" Tails laughed a bit. "Guess you're late, Sonic." Sonic sighed. "Alright, Tails. No need to rub it in."

Sonic paused uneasily. "Um... not... yet?"

Knuckles let out a yell as the duck tape went loose and the force of the wind pushed him backwards and he landed with a crash.

Carol flinched. "Ouch."

"He's gonna be feeling that in the morning." Cory joked.

"He probably won't since his body is too much of a hard-head."

The two sisters giggled while Knuckles let out an annoyed groan.

Amy sounded distressed. "It's due today! If you don't return it on time, I'll have to pay late fees, Sonic! Lat fees!"

Torque flinched. "Why is she freaking out over a book?"

Sonic shrugs. "Our Amy freaks out over everything, so it's no surprise that this one does as well." He expected the pinkette to retort...

"..."

...Only to be met with silence.

Sonic glanced at Amy. "Ames?"

"..."

"Ames."

"..."

Tails looked between the two hedgehogs before he focused on the pink one. "Amy, are you okay?"

"I'm okay, Tails."

Sonic was stunned. Amy was ignoring him. Him. Sonic The freaking Hedgehog. Granted, he never returned his love for her, but he had his reasons. Amy ignoring him is like no more chilli-dogs. And that sounds like a nightmare.

Sonic holds the Communicator away and cringes as Amy yells over it. "Slam on your worry brakes, Amy. I'm all over this! Not a problem!" He turns off his Communicator. "Problem."

Knuckles rolled his eyes. "There's always a problem when you're around, Sonic." "Love you too, Knux." Sonic retorted sarcastically. Knuckles dizzily walks over, then collapses into the sand. "I can't remember where the book is."

"When I can't find something, I retrace my steps." Tails said.

Milla smiled proudly. "Tails to the rescue."

Sonic hummed and scratched his chin. "Okay. What did I do yesterday?" Flashback Montage shows Sonic and Eggman are fighting in Eggman's Eggmobile. They bail out as it crashes into a tree and explodes. "Not surprising." Eggman said. Cut to Sonic and Amy taking a selfie on top of Eggman's Lair. Sonic was still surprised that Amy hadn't said a word. Seriously, what's her problem? The duo then they run and jump off of it as the satellite dish on top explodes. Gong blinked. "I won't question the selfie, but how did the satellite dish explode?" "Maybe one of them had a bomb?" Vector suggested. Neera shook her head. "Doubt it. They don't look like the type to have one on their own." Charmy snickered. "Not unless they were sending an attack on Eggman." Eggman scoffed. "If that was an attack, then I'm disappointed." The next flashback cuts to Sonic doing the limbo in the Gogoba Village. Spade groaned. "I thought you and Tails hated that place." Tails snickered. "Sonic certainly doesn't." "Yes, I do! They're so annoying!" Sonic shouted.

Knuckles chuckled. "That doesn't look like you're being annoyed by them, Sonic."

"Quiet, Knucklehead." After Sonic successfully passes under the bar, the bar randomly explodes. Silver was confused. "Why did that blow up??" Blaze hummed, but came up with nothing. "I have no explanation for that." "It's because whatever that rodent goes, danger follows." Eggman said. "Like you're the one to talk, Eggface." Sonic retorted. Another flashback cuts to Sonic reading a book outside his shack. He puts the book on a table and slides off the chair, walking away. The scene lingers for a bit, but nothing happens.

Sonic smiled. "Oh yeah, that's where I left it." Sonic runs in, grabs the book, then runs off. The lounge chair explodes just as he leaves.

"Okay, now that's just back luck." Blaze said. Silver scratched his head. "Well, Sonic is late to return the book that Amy gave him. So, maybe this episode will be about Sonic having a hard time I guess?" Eggman perked up a bit. While he loathes that hedgehog, seeing him suffer might bring a smile to his face. Back with Tails, the kit is helping Knuckles up. Sonic runs up with the book "Got it!" He then holds out his hand for a high five.

"Nice." Tails grinned and gave Sonic a high five, dropping Knuckles, who falls back into the sand. "But why'd you bring it back here instead of taking it straight to the library?"

Sonic smiled. "Because you're part of the team that helped me track it down, and I wanted you to share in the glory of this victory."

"Oh, um, thanks, Sonic?" Tails was kinda happy.

"Wait for it." Knuckles sighed.

"...And I didn't think of that."

"There it is."

"Oh."

"Hey, at least my twin wanted to give you some credit, bud."

"Thanks, Sonic."

"I feel glorious. And victorious. Now get going, the library closes in..." Tails checks his Communicator watch. "Seven minutes!"

"Plenty of time!" Sonic grinned, hoisting the book under his arm. "Not a problem."

"I feel glorious too!" Knuckles grinned, and then he frowned. "Nope, wait, that's nauseous."

"Shut up." Knuckles simply said.

Sonic zooms towards the library past the village. "Seven minutes? I'll get this to the library in ten seconds. Then I'll have six minutes and fifty seconds to eat a chili dog, kick back on the beach and read a book. Which I'll no longer have, but still."

Eggman let out a small grin. "Oh I can't wait to see what misery you will have, rodent."

Sonic scoffed. "Get lost, Eggbrain."

As Sonic continues to run, he is forced to stop short as he sees Old Monkey crossing in front of him. The monkey glances at him, "After you!"

Sonic shook his head with a smile. "No, please, after you! I have all the time in the world."

"I thought the same thing when I was your age, sonny."

Old Monkey begins to slowly walk past. Sonic smiles for a bit, but soon starts getting impatient.

Eggman snickered. "Should've gone first, monkey. Just five seconds and already you're growing impatient."

"Sonic's always impatient." Amy finally spoke up... with a hiss. "He doesn't have time for little things."

Sonic couldn't help but flinch. "Geez, Amy. What's with the attitude?"

"Hmph." Amy looked away again.

Sonic slumped in his seat with a sigh.

Old Monkey turned to Sonic. "Did I ever tell you about the time I got a soda out of the vending machine without putting money in?"

"Uhhh, what?" Tails asked.

Milla raised a brow."I don't think getting soda from a vending machine with money makes sense."

Spade pinched the bridge of his nose. "Nothing makes sense."

"Uh, no. We just met." "Oh, it was the best day of my life!"

Old Monkey continues walking. Sonic continues to wait. Once he's far enough, Sonic starts running again, but stops short again, seeing Sticks walking in front of him, dragging a net.

"Not her again." Shadow groaned. "Going fishing?" Sonic asked.

"For aliens!" Sticks said. "I dreamnt about badminton and teacups last night. And you know what that means!" "It means you're paranoid."

"Let's pretend for a second that I don't." Sonic said.

"It means aliens are coming! Or I'm going to a badminton tea party. But I'm not taking any chances."

"Well... good luck with that."

Sticks moves on. Sonic starts running again, but sees Meh Burger.

Sonic grinned. "Don't mind if I do."

Tails furrowed his brows. "Really, Sonic?"

The blue blur could only shrug in response.

Sonic runs up to the Meh Burger counter. Fastidious Beaver is already there making his order.

Eggman growled, his grin fading away. "That beaver again? Why can't he just go away?" The beaver hummed. "Actually, I'm not sure what I want. There are so many choices. Should I have a Meh Burger, or a Meh Burger with cheese? Or a double Meh Burger? Or a double Meh Burger with cheese? Or a Super Meh Burger? Or a Super Meh Burger with cheese?"

Sonic is getting more and more impatient. Most of the audience felt sympathy for him.

"I know." Fastidious finally said.

Sonic brightens

"I'll have a hot dog. But..."

Sonic's face falls again. "Should I have a hot dog with sauerkraut? Or a hot dog with onions? Or a hot dog with mustard? Or a hot dog wi--"

Spade growled annoyingly. "I wish i could strangle that beaver."

"You and me both." Shadow retorted.

"How about a chili dog?" Sonic cuts in, making the choice for him.

Carol rubbed her head. "Thank you, Sonic."

The beaver smiled. "Actually, a chili dog sounds delicious."

"Would you like something to drink with that?" Dave asked. "Something to drink? Hmm..."

Sonic's face falls again.

"Should I have a soda? Or a water? Or a shake? Or a juice?" Knuckles was getting annoyed. "Just pick something! It's not that simple!" "Juice! Have juice! Everyone loves juice!" Sonic cuts in again, getting more impatient. Shadow was getting impatient as well. "How about you just return the book, instead of just wasting both your and our time?!" Knuckles cracked his head. "Because he's too stubborn." "I'll have juice." The beaver said.

"Would you like to have--" Dave began. "NO!!!"

"He doesn't want anything else!" Sonic frantically interrupts Dave.

Dave hands Fastidious the bag with his order. Fastidious pays and leaves. Sonic raises his hand and is about to say his order, but is interrupted by a revving up. He turned to see Eggman. Eggman facepalmed. "Oh c'mon."

"You cut in front of Moto Bug! He was holding my place while I was in the little villain's room." Eggman said. "Why should Sonic care?" Carol asked.

"Oh, sorry, Egghead." Sonic apologized. "I didn't see him. Go ahead."

Cory sighed. "Because he doesn't think straight."

Sonic groaned. "I have to agree with there."

Shadow was now pissed off. "You were just in line, you blue idiot!"

"Geez, Shads, I said I was sorry!"

"No you didn't!"

"Well know I am!"

"No, no, please! You're Sonic the Hedgehog. You deserve to be next! Go on! I insist!"

"Well, I am in kind of a hurry. Thanks, Egghead. One chili dog, please."

"Well at least Egghead is making things okay."

Dave hands Sonic a chili dog. Sonic takes a bite out of it.

"Good. You have your chili dog, other me. Now go before Amy gets mad that you were late to return her book."

"I'd like a chili dog with extra relish."

"Egghead, since when do you eat chili dogs."

"Because I don't. They're disgusting."

Sonic gasped in shock. "You take that back!"

"...No."

"Sorry, we're sold out." Dave said in boredom.

"Sucks for you, Eggy."

"What are you talking about rodent? I just said they're disgusting."

"True; but you getting no food? That must've hurt."

"Eh, you're not wrong."

Eggman narrowed his eyes at Sonic in anger. Sonic blinks as he stops before he take another bite of his chili dog. He holds it up at Eggman. "Want a bite?"

Both Sonic and Eggman looked disgusted.

"NO!" Sonic screamed.

"HELL NO! I don't wanna taste that rodent's slob that he just took a bite of! That's disgusting!" Eggman sounds like he could throw up.

"No, I don't want a bite! I want my own!" Eggman exclaimed.

"We have some at the warehouse two villages over."

Eggman looks at Sonic again. Sonic sighs, and gulps down the rest of the chili dog. "Be right back."

"ARE YOU-" Knuckles resisted the urge to let out any cursed words.

"I am about SHOOT something if this show doesn't end NOW!" Shadow growled.

Sonic runs off again, but is forced to stop short as Old Monkey is crossing in front of him again. "Did I ever tell you about the time I got a free soda?"

"Yes!" Sonic roared.

Old Monkey moves on. Sonic runs off again. He sees the warehouse. "There it is."

However, the speedster is forced to stop short yet again as crosses in front of him. Sonic glanced at her with a panicked expression. "Do you mind if I go first? I'm in kind of a--"

"Did I ever tell you about the time I found some money on the street?"

"No, because NOBODY CARES!!!" Knuckles roared.

Sonic was taken back by the outburst. "Woah, Knux. Maybe you should-"

"Say something else, Sonic, and I will give you a swollen face."

"You gotta be..." Sonic moaned, but spoke again in a normal voice. "No, we just met." "I used the monkey to buy a soda. So it was like the soda was free."

Sonic gives an ingratiating grin. Mrs. Vandersnout continues walking. Sonic runs into the Meh Burger warehouse, then out again.

"I wish I liked soda."Sonic runs up to Eggman, giving him the chili dog.

Eggman looks at the chili dog and frowned. "I asked for extra relish."

Theo decided to speak up before anyone could rage... again. "Okay, guys. I know some of these might be frustrating, but I swear, after two more episodes you're gonna take a loooooooonnnnnng break after this."

Knuckles narrowed his eyes. "Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"...Fine."

Sonic gives Eggman a dirty look, then runs off, but is once again cut off by Old Monkey. "You got me thinking, sonny. Today's the day! I'm heading home to drink my soda!" Sonic shrugs, then runs past Old Monkey again. However, he ends up getting caught in a net and a cage. "What the..." Amy began.

Sticks ran up with a grin on her face. "Aha! Gotcha, alien!"

Sonic just looks at Sticks in annoyance. The badger takes a closer look. "You're not an alien."

"Really? You think?" Sonic asked sarcastically. "Get me out of here, Sticks!"

Sticks nodded. "Umm... okay." She holds up a large keyring. "Now which one was it again?"

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Sonic grumbled.

Sticks tries a few keys, none of which open the lock. Sonic groans. Sticks tries a few more keys, and finally opens the cage. Sonic runs off again.

Sticks waved. "You're welcome!"

"Plenty of time! Oh, come on!" Sonic stops short for Old Monkey yet again.

"Remember what Theo said, Knuckles." The echidna thought to him self. "Heh. I need a straw." Old Monkey said. Sonic runs off again. As he does, he runs past the Gogoba Leader.

"Sonic! Sonic!" The leader called out to the hedgehog.

"No! No! Keep running, Sonic!" Amy demanded.

Sonic relieved she was talking again. Even though it wasn't directed towards him.

Sonic looks back to see the Gogoba Leader standing next to a cart, which had a wheel fall off. "I have a flat tire and I'm late getting back to my home to feed my children. Can you help me fix it?"

Sonic didn't have the time for this. "Um, I have a book to return, then I'll come back! I promise! Two minutes, tops!"

"Oh, that's okay. Growing children don't need nutrition. It just keeps them healthy and stops their bones from getting brittle. I'll just fix this flat myself. My sciatica's flaring up, but I'm sure I'll only be laid up for a week or so. You go return your book while I struggle painfully and injure myself."

Sonic sighs and turns back. Handing the book to the Gogoba Chief, he picks up the wheel and puts it back on the cart. "Done!"

"Finally!" Knuckles yelled.

Sonic turned and sees the Gogoba Chief reading the book "Book, please." The Gogoba Leader hands back the book to Sonic. The blue blur runs off for the library, but laser blasts hit around him, causing him to dive forward and hit the dirt. Sonic spits out some dirt and glares up.

"Eat this, you lying, cutting, relish-forgetting rodent!" Eggman hissed.

"You're the one who- Grr!" Eggman was beyond furious.

"How much time do we have left?" Spade asked.

"Just a few." Lucy said.

"This show needs to hurry it up." Shadow groused.

"I ran to the warehouse and got you your own chili dog! Doesn't that count for anything?" Sonic questioned the human.

"No! You ruined my chili dog moment!" Eggman yelled.

Sonic couldn't blame the doctor. If some ruined his chili dog moment, they would be in a world of pain.

Sonic stands up, dusting himself off. "Okay, fine. I'm happy to battle you over this, but can you give me a second to return this library book first?" "I'll show you exactly the same consideration you showed me." The Eggmobile flies up and starts firing at Sonic again as he runs off. "None! None consideration!"

A near miss makes Sonic drop the book and go sprawling. As he sits up, he finds himself surrounded by Moto Bugs, Beebots, Crab bots, and Firebots.

"All this over a chili dog?" Sonic groaned.

"Yeah, Egghead. Aren't you over-reacting a bit?"

"He's the one over-reacting. Not me, rodent."

"Beside, you would've done the same thing, Sonic, since you love chili dogs so much."

"Don't defend him, Tails."

"It's the principle!" Eggman said." Besides, I'm sure you'll think twice about cutting in line next time."

"Oh, did someone get pushed to the back of the line one too many times in elementary school?" Sonic asked in a mocking tone.

"It was middle school." Eggman corrected. "And those girls were vicious!"

"Eggy, you were-"

"Not. Another. Word."

"Minions, attack!" Eggman ordered his robots. The robots begin to close in on Sonic. Just he was about to fight...

"Sonic! We've got your back!"

Sonic turns to see Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Sticks running towards him. Amy is riding a cart that Knuckles is pushing. The echidna rams the cart into a Moto Bug and a Crab Bot. Amy jumps out and smashes a Bee Bot with her hammer. Knuckles smashes another Moto Bug, while another Moto Bug is caught up in Sticks' net. Tails drives up in the Tailsmobile, turns it around, and switches it into hyper mode. The spinning fan blows away the rest of Eggman's robots. One of the Bee Bots explodes against the Eggmobile, sending it and Eggman flying away. Sonic and Amy high five each other.

Sonic checks his Communicator watch. "Still plenty of time to get to the library. Okay, where's the book?"

"You mean my book?" Amy frowned. "The one you were supposed to return that you said was not a problem?!"

"I still have thirty seconds! We're fine!" Sonic grinned reassuringly. "How much time is left?" Spade asked.

"Just a few seconds." Lucy said.

Shadow sighed. "Nearly there."

Sonic and the gang started searching for Amy's book, until Sonic spots Knuckles reading it. He zooms towards him and puts his hand out. "Give me that!"

"But... pictures!" Knuckles wined.

Sonic quickly snatches the book from him. "See? And ten seconds to spare!" Sonic walks up to the library doors and knocks.

"We're closed." Fastidious called out from behind the door.

"Like hell you are!" Shadow cursed.

"Yeah! We've just suffered through all this!" Eggman yelled.

"Open the damn door!" Spade hissed.

Amy was quick to cover Cream's ear as Lilac could only shake her head.

Sonic frowned as he looked at his communicator. "No you're not! There's seven seconds left!"

"We closed early. I'm taking my assistant to get some of those chili dogs."

"Chili dogs?!"

Sonic, Amy and Knuckles glanced up to see Eggman swooping back in, angrily blasting lasers from his Eggmobile. Eggman grabbed his head, thinking another battle was about to happened. "NO!" "The evil blows a hole in the library wall before flying off again."

"YES!" "For once, I'm glad the doctor was there." Shadow was relieved that the episode was coming to an end. Sonic smirked. "Thanks, Egghead!"

"You can thank me by putting the book back, rodent."

Sonic runs up to the newly formed hole in the wall and passes the book to Fastidious. Sonic smiles at Amy. "Told you I'd get it here on time!"

"Thank you!" Knuckles cheered.

Shadow was relieved. "Finally.

Spade groaned. "Never again."

Lucy giggled. "You boys okay."

"No."

"Just checking."

Sonic rubbed his face, glad that the episode was over. However there was one problem.

Amy.

She didn't talk to him at all through the entire episode. Not one word.

Enough was enough.

"Amy."

Slightly surprised, the pinkette finally faced him.

"Yes?"

"Why were you ignoring through the whole episode?"

Amy sigh. "Because..."

Sonic raised a brow at why she stopped. "Because what?"

"Because... you've never acknowledged me."

The speedster was taken back. "Never acknowledge you?? What'd you mean??"

"I..." Tears were forming in Amy's eyes. Sonic couldn't but feel bad. "I... I've done everything in my life to make you see me as more... than a friend."

Sonic flinched. He knew what she was talking about.

"I just wanted... to... to... be your..."

Feeling that Amy was about to cry, and not wanting to be embarrassed in front of a lot of people in the theater, Sonic put his hands on her shoulders, making the pinkette look at him.

"Amy... I like you... I do... it's just that..." Sonic sighed. "I don't think it's the right time for us." Both the hedgehog's eyes faced each other. "Please, Amy. Just... wait until I make my choice okay? And then I'll give you my answer. Okay?"

After a moment of silence, Amy nodded, wiping tears off her eyes and smiled. "...Okay. Anything for you, Sonic."

The two smiled at each other.

"Are you gonna make out or what??"

The two blinked and looked at Rouge, who was grinning at the two. Sonic and Amy looked away from each other with blushes forming on their faces.

"I guess they're not ready yet." Knuckles snickered.

Sonic's face flushed in embarrassment. "B-Be quiet, Knucklehead."

Theo and Lucy laughed at the scene. Lucy already pressed the button to the next episode.
