"Fuzzy Puppy Buddies??" Sonic read the title. "What??"

"The heck is a Fuzzy Puppy Buddie?" Knuckles asked.

"Who cares?? Just play the damn thing." Scourge ordered.

The scene changes inside Amy's house. The pinkette grinned. "Thought you were pretty slick, playing Warrior Beagle against Pugnacious Pug." She said, pushing a puppy toy forward. "Didn't see that comin', did ya?"

Lucy gestures at the puppy toy. "That's a Puppy Buddie Toy."

Milla awes the puppy. "It looks so cute!"

"Let's just hope it's not as dangerous as the lady goat's puppy." Carol reminded.

"Carol, it's a mindless toy, not a heartless robot." Lilac pointed.

"I wish it was." Eggman wished that the toy could jump from its spot and go on a rampage, so the show could be over.

Amy runs to the other side of the table, revealing that she's playing a game against herself.

"She's playing against herself?" Tails didn't understand why the other Amy doesn't just invite Sticks to play. Sonic and his twin would never agree to this. And Knuckles' twin... he's just not smart enough. But Sticks is her best friend, surely Amy could at least teach her.

Amy didn't understand why her twin was playing a game with puppies. She doesn't think that they're not cute, they are. It's just, hasn't she heard of tarot cards.

Amy rolls a dice. The pinkette grinned. "Bam! Slobbering Sheepdog is marking his territory!"

Amy knocks over the piece she just advanced with another one, then laughs. She then runs around to the other side and gasps, realizing she "lost." She then runs back to the other side and starts doing a victory dance. "Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Whoop. Whoop. Whoop..."

"Avert your eyes." Fiona demanded, looking away from this co-called 'dancing'.

"She won against herself and is doing a lousy victory dance." Scourge grumbled, facing away from the screen.

"Was it necessary?" Anti-Tails questioned.

"To her? Yes."

Eggman grumbled. The pinkette rodent double's dance is worse than his.

Andy chuckled. The game Amy is playing is just like Yugioh!, Dungeons and Dragons, and Nintendogs put together.

Amy sighed, looking at her twin dancing. If that's winning, then she's terrible at it. What happened to humility?

The pinkette suddenly stops dancing when she realizes that the Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Sticks are gawking at her weirdly.

"Uh...what are you doing?" Sonic asked her.

"Nothing embarrassing. I'll tell you that right now." Amy said nervously.

Amy was deadpanned. "Nice save, other me."

Sonic looked down on the floor and picked up one of Amy's figures. "Ah! Cute doggie doll."

Amy frowned. "They're not dolls, they're playing pieces."

"More like action figures." Manic corrected

"Part of a very sophisticated battle game that requires strategy, cunning, and merciless aggression! It's called Fuzzy Puppies!"

The gang burst out laughing.

"That sounds pretty lame, Amy." Tails snickered.

The yellow kit frowned. He shouldn't expect that much from his double, but. "That's just rude."

Manic shrugged. "He's not wrong though."

"It's not lame!" The pink hedgehog protested, angrily. "It's the coolest new game around!"

"If it's so cool, why are you playing it all by yourselves?" Sticks asked.

"I'm just honoring my skills before the Fuzzy Puppy meet-up at Meh Burger." Amy answered.

Amy cringed with disgust. Why would her twin play her puppy toys at a disturbing restaurant? Why not a park or something?

"All the best, most popular players in town will be there."

The scene changes at Meh Burger with Amy holding her case. She's with Zooey, Dave and Fastidious.

"Most popular" being those three." Shadow groused. "Probably, because they're aren't any other characters who could play with her."

Amy sighed. Where's Cream in this dimension when you need her? She would definitely join her twin in a game of Fuzzy Puppy Buddies!

"Excuse me, can you tell me where the cool, popular Fuzzy Puppy fan group is?" Amy asked the trio.

"Duh! It's right here at this table." Dave said, as-a-matter-of-fact-ly.

"Noob!" Fastidious sneered.

Lilac frowned. "It was just a simple question."

Sonia nodded in agreement. "That was uncalled for."

Suddenly, Eggman shows up, holding the game in his hand as well.

The human genius widened his eyes in shock. "Oh no..."

Sonic was on the verge of laughing. "Oh yes..."

"Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late! I was polishing my schnauzer and-"

Amy interrupted the doctor. "Eggman! You're into Fuzzy Puppies?"

Eggman shook his head quickly. "Me? Oh... No, no, never! I'm the evil and powerful Eggman. I wouldn't... " He sighed, giving up. "Ah, who am I kidding?" He perked up with a grin. "Of course I collect Fuzzy Puppies. They're adorable!"

Amy smiled happily. "I know, right?" She gushed.

Sonic was laughing hard. "Oh my god! We're actually seeing Egghead's soft side! And it's because of puppy toys!"

Eggman groaned as he slumped into his seats with an embarrassed look on his face. He gave his twin a death glare. Who does he think he is playing with girly toys?!

Eggman leaned in towards the girls with a uneasy look on his face. "So, if you could do me a solid and not tell Sonic and those guys, OK? They'll just make fun of me."

"Tell me about it." Amy grumbled.

"I'm already making fun of him right now!" Sonic was still laughing.

This was torture to Eggman.

"Don't worry. Your secret's safe with me." Amy assures the doctor. "So, who's your favorite Fuzzy Puppy?"

"O-M-G! How can you just choose one?" Eggman squealed, sharing her overflowing enthusiasm.

Sonic was choking on his laughter. "'O-M-G'?!? I can't take it anymore!"

Silver was back at his laughing stage as well. "Ha ha ha! Too much! Too much!"

Carol was on her sister, who was also laughing. "Too is the perfect comedy!"

"The perfect embarrassment for Eggman!" Tails laughed out loud.

Eggman just covered his face.

"You know, Eggman, maybe you're not so bad after all." Amy grinned.

The scene changes somewhere on Seaside Island, where Eggman, in his Eggmobile, engages Sonic Team in combat.

"I'm gonna wipe you filthy rodents off the face of the planet!" Eggman laughed evilly. As usual, he was attacking the gang.

Amy shook her head. Her twin just jinxed herself.

Giant Robot rolls up. Sonic goes into a spin dash and attacks it, slamming it back temporarily. Amy slams two ball bots with her hammer, respectively.

And she was too kind. How are the others not noticing this?!

Eggman flew up to Amy, whispering so the other couldn't hear. "Psst, Amy! After this is over, you wanna stop by the lair for a quick Fuzzy Puppy sesh?"

"Are you serious? Why would I wanna hang out with you? You're literally in the middle of attacking us!" Amy whispered-yelled back with a trivial look.

"Exactly!" Amy yelled, ignoring the laughter around her. "He's a villain! Knock him into outer space or something!"

"That's just business. Nine-to-five we're enemies, but outside office hours we're Fuzzy Puppy buddies."

Sonic spins up and knocks the Giant Robot onto its back, successfully immobilizing it. He sees Amy talking to Eggman. "You need some help there, Ames?"

Amy shook her head. "Nah, I got it!" She glanced at Eggman and turned her voice to a whisper again. "Fine. I'll see you at 8:00." She swung her hammer at Eggman and sent him flying.

"Curse you, Amy Rose, for smacking me over the horizon! And I definitely won't be seeing you any time soon!" Eggman cried as he flew away.

Andy chuckled. 'Eggman's blasting off again.'

Back at Amy's house, The rest of Team Sonic meets Amy, who's coming out of her house with her Fuzzy Puppy case

Sonic smiled at her. "Hey, Amy, we're heading to the beach. Wanna come with?"

The pink hedgehog chuckled nervously. "Uh, no, I gotta... water my cat. "Yeah, I'm gonna go with that. See ya!" She lied and zipped off.

The gang faced each other, concerned.

"That's the third time she ditched us this week!" Sticks hissed.

"Yeah, I'm worried. I think they're over-watering that cat." Knuckles added.

The red echidna facepalmed. "Or maybe she's hanging out with Eggman."

"Some friends she has." Fiona added. "They could at least follow her out of suspicion, due to her absences."

"I hope they do." Eggman admitted. "Because you're not the only one who's getting irritated at this point."

At Eggman's lair, the doctor was showing Amy his collection of Fuzzy Puppy.

"Impressive collection." Amy noted, pleased. "Pitbull Paulie? Dirk Doberman? Some heavy hitters." She pointed to an empty stand. "Looks like someone's missing."

Eggman nodded. "Ah, yes. The legendary Fancy Poodle, the white whale of Fuzzy Puppies. And I've been doggedly pursuing it, like a hawk!"

"Well, I brought over our collections. Maybe you wanna do some trades with us?"

"Trades? For those lame-o pups? I got the big dogs over here."

"You've got enforcers, but you're missing decoy dogs, assist pups, and defense mutts." Amy pointed out.

Eggman sighed. "See, the thing is, I'm a collector. I don't really know how to, uh, play the game."

"You shouldn't be playing a ridiculous game that's made for girls in the first place!" Eggman hissed. He remembered Dave and Fastidious. "And idiots!"

Sonic chuckled. "If this is how your twin is redeeming himself, then he's got my vote."

"Keep your mouth shut, you spiky hairy dog!"

"With a starter set like this and some basic training from me, you'll be a top-level Puppy pugilist in no time!" Amy stated.

Later, Amy is explaining to Eggman how the game goes.

"The goal is to eliminate all your opponent's puppies from the board. Each puppy has its own unique abilities. Goldie the Retriever can dig a hole, trapping one of your opponent's pieces for three turns. Charlene Shar Pei has a bark that can scare a smaller dog off the board."

Eggman pointed to one of the pieces. "What's that one do?"

"Gertie the Bulldog." Amy answered. "If you move her, she tracks mud in the house, which gets her kicked off immediately. I never move her. I think she's cute, so I keep her there for good luck."

"Ooh! This one's wearing a little crown!" Eggman gushed, pointing to a female puppy figure.

Amy smiled. "That's the Ice Tiara. Accessories like that power up your pup. Also, they're adorable!"

Spade groaned in annoyance. The fat doctor was right, his twin shouldn't be playing a ridiculous game. It was a waste of time.

"You don't have to tell me," Eggman said. He showed Amy the shirt he was wearing... a Fuzzy Puppy sized fez.

Amy and Eggman shared a laugh.

"They look like they're having fun." Charmy said, smiling.

Espio sighed. "Remember Charmy, Eggman is still a villain." He gestures at the screen. "No matter how much fun time you have with him."

Vector eyed the fez. "That hat needs to come off."

"I couldn't agree with you more, crocodile." Eggman grumbled. His twin seeking cuteness is a little too far.

Amy picks up a dice. "Now, let me show you how it's done." She said, confidently.

At Meh Burger, Eggman is playing a game of Fuzzy Puppies against Dave the Intern, with Amy coaching him. At Eggman's lair, Amy is explaining Fuzzy Puppy capabilities, with Eggman taking notes. Back at Meh Burger, Doctor Eggman is playing Zooey, again with Amy coaching him.

Amy raised a brow. Should there be a strategy guide for a game like Fuzzy Puppy?

At Amy's House, Amy wins a game against Eggman, causing him to flip the board angrily.

Sonic snickered. "You can't win at anything, Eggface."

Back to Meh Burger, where Doctor Eggman is now playing Fastidious Beaver. Once more to Amy's house, where a game of Fuzzy Puppies ends with Doctor Eggman winning.

"Good game. The student have become the master." Amy said, proud that Eggman had defeated both girls in the game.

"Congratulation, doctor." Rouge grinned at the human genius, clapping. "Well done."

"I don't need appreciation from you!"

Eggman smirked. "I learned from the best. Well, second best now. You know, since I just crushed you two." He flipped the dog pieces and started dancing. "Victory lap!"

Meanwhile, at Meh burger, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Sticks are eating burgers without Amy.

"Have you guys noticed that it's been a really slow week?" Knuckles asked.

Sticks looked panicked. "Hey, what if it's not a slow week? What if stuff's happening and we're just not a part of it?"

"That's absurd. We're part of everything." Sonic said.

Spade rolled his eyes. "That's not what the paranoid badger meant."

Tails nodded in agreement. "Yeah, whenever anything happens it's always centered around you, or me, or Knuckles, or Sticks, or..." His eyes widened. "Amy!"

"Thanks for the roll call, Tails." Knuckled said, sarcastically.

Back at Amy's house, the gang are peeking through the pink hedgehog's window.

Sonic curiously tried to peek through the curtain. "What's going on?"

"I can't see!" Tails complained.

"Use your tails so you can get a better view." Shadow suggested, annoyingly.

"From what I'm standing, he already has a clear view." Neera added.

"I always found the other window better for spying on Amy." Sticks said.

"So she constantly spies on her own best friend?" Torques questioned, confused.

Cory nodded. "Yep. That's about right."

"Also, there's no glass," Milla pointed out, examining the scene. "Won't Amy hear them?"

"In this dimension? I doubt it." Carol answered.

Knuckles glanced in to see Amy setting food on the table "Looks like she's setting up for a date."

"A date?!" Sonic exclaimed in distress. He cleared and chuckled nervously. "That's cool. I-I mean, what do I care?" He notices the other staring at him with identical, suggestive smirks. He glared at them. "Stop looking at me."

Rouge smirked. "Imagine if he found out her actual date was with the doctor."

Sonic wanted to throw up.

Amy gagged.

Eggman cringed.

"No way!!" They chorused.

Hearing a knock, the gang turned around to see Eggman walking in. Sonic's eyes widened. "It's Eggman! We've gotta stop him!" He races in, grabbing one of Amy's blinds and using it to wrap up the doctor.

"Oh! Uh... you did it." The human genius put on a fake tone. "Confound you. You've stopped me from enacting my brilliant, evil scheme, which is the only reason I was here. Oh, well. Gotta go." He ran off, still bundled with Amy's blinds.

Knuckles frowned. "Did that Eggman attack seem strange?"

Amy frowned. "No. He was fearsome. I, for one, was terrified." She said in the same fake tone that Eggman used.

Sonic frowned. "Eggman doesn't usually knock before an attack. What's going on, Amy?" He demanded.

"Isn't it obvious, you idiot??" Knuckles didn't know how many brain cells they had to lose.

Amy sighed. She remembers the time when her twin assisted Eggman in something, but unlike it, she wasn't trapped in a cage. Yet. The thought of Eggman betraying her will happen soon enough.

"Nothing. I'm a weak, helpless girl and you all saved me?" Amy asked sarcastically.

Everyone stared at her in silence.

"Just spill the beans, other me." The pinkette demanded.

Amy sighed, finally giving it up. "Urgh! Fine! Eggman and I are... Fuzzy Puppy buddies."

"You're FRIENDS with EGGMAN?!" Tails sounded thunderstruck.

"You were shocked when she was once his assistant." Spade pointed out. "You shouldn't be now since she's friends with him through a childish game."

"We're only friends when we're not battling." Amy defended. "Then we're Fuzzy Puppy buddies."

"How does that suppose make them feel less shocked?" Neera questioned.

"And tomorrow, he and I are going to Puppy Con." Amy said.

"So it's a con! A swindle! A hustle, a flim-flam, a grift!" Sticks hissed angrily. "And you're the sap, the mark, the patsy, the gudgeon -"

Sonic shook his head miserably. "No, Sticks, it's worse than that. I think Puppy Con is a Fuzzy Puppy fan convention. Still, I don't trust Eggman, so despite the risk to my carefully cultivated street cred, we're going to... Puppy Con."

Amy looks delighted, but Tails, Knuckles and Sticks groan.

"OR you could tell Amy NOT to go." Tails suggested.

At the village center, the area is decorated for Puppy Con. Doctor Eggman and Amy are walking together.

Sonic groaned. "Too late."

"This is awesome! And I don't use that term lightly." Eggman told Amy as they both walked through Puppy Con. He pulled something from his pocket and grinned. "Hey! I just found an old cheese puff in my pocket! Awesome!" He grinned as he popped it in his mouth.

"Disgusting."

Everyone agreed with Shadow's words.

Amy ran ahead and shrieked in delight. "Look at all the adorable accessories!" She squealed.

Most of the audience covered their ears from the shrieking.

"And the pain is back." Spade hissed.

Eggman noticed something at Stratford's table and ran over with a grin. "Hey kid, what'll you take for that Fancy Poodle?"

"I don't think I could part with Fancy Poodle." Stratford said flatly.

"Everyone has a price! How about I give you Missy Malamute, Pitbull Paulie, and I'll throw in my two service robots?" Eggman motioned his robots over, and they smiled hopefully at Stratford.

Stratford shook his head. The robotic cohorts withdrew, looking disappointed.

"Take it as a good thing that you guys aren't being handed to someone else." Torque remarked. "Even though your creator is... rude."

"Tell you what. Same deal, no Orbot and Cubot. See? The offer's better already."

"No."

"Ok, you're a tough negotiator."

"If he doesn't want to give up his top, then leave him alone!" Eggman growled.

"Or tell him to go away." Shadow added.

"How about this?" Eggman asked. "I'll throw in my Obliterator Bot. Kids love enormous, destructive robots."

Lady Walrus approaches the human doctor with a stern look. "My son can't have a giant destructive killing machine. You know nothing about children's safety!"

"Finally! You can actually legitimately care about your kids safety!" Amy commented.

Lady Walrus turned to see Chumley swinging on a sign hanging from the ceiling and started panicking. "My baby!" She runs off to her kid.

Amy groans.

"OK, your mom's gone. Whaddya say?" Eggman asked, holding up a pair of keys to Stratford. The kid shook his head, causing the human genius to growl.

Elsewhere in the convention, Amy was purchasing an accessory from Zooey. She grinned excitedly as Zooey handed her a play piece. "Here you go. One Cuteness Hat. When activated, it makes your character too cute to resist." She said adoringly.

Their moment was interrupted with the whole building shaking and someone yelled outside. "Help! Someone or something is attacking!"

Sonic and the gang ran outside.

The gang made it just in time to see two figures in cloaks causing a rockslide. Amy sowled. "The Lightning Bolt Society!"

"Those train wrecks again?" Scourge groused.

Tails and Sticks leap over the rolling rocks. Knuckles stops one rock with a punch, then destroys it with another. Sonic spins up and is hammered by Amy, launching him into several more of the rolling rocks, before landing on a stationary one.

When that was over, Sonic glanced over at the Lightning Bolts. "Now to take care of those Lightning Bolts." He looked up to notice that they were gone. "Where did they go?"

Fiona rolled her eyes. "They retreated, what'd you think."

The gang made it to the village just in time to see Dave being led away by the Beaver Policemen. "Let's go, ya Lightning Bolt loser!" The officer hissed.

Dave struggled, his eyes wide. "No! I'm innocent! Don't taze me, bro!" He wined.

"I guess his Puppy Con experience was..." Knuckles smirked as he placed on a pair of glasses. "Ruff."

Carol cringed. "That joke was terrible."

Cory chuckled. "Like you could do any better, sis."

The gang laughed out loud and froze, mimicking a freeze-frame. However, that moment was ruined when Stratford yelled out, " That guy stole my Fancy Poodle!"

Amy ignored the walrus' cried and blinked. "Did anyone else catch that freeze frame."

"Yes." They chorused.

"...And we're not gonna question it, are we??"

"No."

The gang rushed back inside to see Eggman holding Stratford's Fancy Poodle. "Did not!" Eggman protested. "We traded! Your Fancy Poodle for my not destroying all you hold dear."

"This ends now, Eggman!" Sonic snarled, preparing for a fight.

However, Amy stepped in his way. "No, Sonic. Let me handle this my way. Eggman, I challenge you to a game. If I win, you give the kid back his Poodle."

The doctor snickered. "Fine! But if you lose, I get... Gertie the Bulldog."

The audience gasped dramatically.

Rosy snarled. "I want my hammer back."

"I need a shotgun." Scourge hissed.

"Why? You know it's the worst piece!" Amy said.

"Because you love it. I am a villain, after all. I know all your moves. This is gonna be a piece of cake."

"Cake?" Knuckles asked, removing his glasses with a hopeful smile.

Eggman and Amy are now seated at a table, preparing to play Fuzzy Puppies. Amy rolls the die and moves one of her puppies forward. Eggman moves one of his puppies forward and knocks hers away, causing the audience to gasp again.

Shadow and Spade feel like they want to join in on Scourge and Rosy's rampage against the villagers.

Time lapses, and Amy's other two puppies disappear, leaving her only with Gertie.

Eggman snickered. "You're down to Gertie the Bulldog, the weakest piece in the game. I played you like a violin. Classical, not country. It's just like when I stole Fancy Poodle by distracting you with a rock slide and blamed it on The Lightning Bolts."

Orbot and Cubot zipped over, still wearing the velvet red robes and laughing.

Knuckles scoffed. "Figures."

Sonic wasn't all that impressed. "Decoys to put blame on someone else, cliche. How rich."

"And your twin fell for it." Shadow replied.

"I wouldn't."

Amy snarled. "Shifted the blame, huh? Good idea. Gertie, let's track some mud, shall we? Oh, I almost forgot!" She placed a Cutness Hat, received from Zooey, on Gertie, and the audience gasped.

"Stop gasping!" Amy screamed. Weren't they listening to her twin and Zooey's conversation.

"The Cuteness Hat. Gertie is now the most adorable puppy on the board. No one would blame her for anything. So, another dog must take blame for the mud tracks! And since I have no other puppies, I blame... Fancy Poodle!" Amy grinned victoriously.

Milla raised a brow in confusion. "Uh, blame or not, doesn't Eggman still win on his next turn?"

Tails hummed. "Not unless one can blame multiple puppies with the Cuteness Hat."

"No! No fair! Now you can just blame all my puppies!" Eggman snarled.

"You can't win! Give back the Poodle!" Amy demanded.

"I'm not giving it back! I'm not!" Eggman hissed, angrily flipping the board, all pieces from the board scattering on the floor.

"Fine! Then we're not Fuzzy Puppy buddies!"

Eggman recoiled and looked actually pained. "But... but... I thought we were FPBFFs!"

Sonic shrugged. "You brought this on yourself, Eggy."

He finally gave up. "All right, I'll give back Fancy Poodle." The doctor wined as he handed Amy the poodle, who handed it back to Stratford.

"So, I'll see ya next week? Say, uh, right after I blow up the-" Eggman quickly stopped himself. "I mean, uh, after I paint my rumpus room?"

At Eggman's lair.

"And, game over!" Amy grinned as she flipped Eggman's piece. "I win!"

Eggman flipped over the board out of rage a third time that day. However, his rage was short-lived and that sesh concluded with shared laughter between the duo.

Amy and Eggman looked at each other.

"Never."

"Never."

They were both glad that this was over.

Sonic chuckled. "I think I just found my new favorite episode."

"None of these episodes will be my favorite." Knuckles said. "Well, except for the Gogoba one. At least my twin wasn't in it."

"And the crazy crazy wasn't crazy... this time." Shadow added.

Lucy pressed the button to the next episode.
