Acker fell asleep snuggled against my back, but I didn't close my eyes. How could I? Everything I said to Theo replayed over and over in my head.
I slowly pulled away from Acker so as not to wake him and sneaked out of the room. I carefully closed the door behind me and stopped when I noticed that Theo was still in my apartment.
He's sitting on my couch and hasn't noticed that I'm standing behind him yet. I just looked at him for a while.
How did we get here? We should act like siblings, right?
But he hurt me. How can I just forgive him? He left me alone. I was just a child.
"What are you still doing here?" I asked in a calm voice.
Theo didn't look up or look at me. "There's nothing I can say that would change your opinion of me, is there?"
"What do you expect from me? I owe you nothing." I hugged myself.
"I made a mistake, I know that."
"You have no idea, do you?" I shook my head before he finally looked at me. "For seventeen years you were my hero. Someone I looked up to. I went everywhere you went because I felt safe with you. And then you left me in a house with people who didn't care if I ate or got home alright." He didn't say anything, he just looked at me with pity in his eyes. "You didn't call or write or communicate in any other way. It's like I suddenly didn't exist. Do you know how much that hurt me?" I buried my finger in my chest.
"I'll never forgive myself, Maya. But you have to understand that I had to get out of there."
"Then you should have taken me with you." I walked up to him. "You could have taken me with you," I whispered.
"I should have."
"But you didn't." My voice broke. "And I had to live with the fact that I wasn't even good enough for my own brother." I felt a tight feeling in my chest.
"I deserve every drop of your hate, but..." He let out a heavy breath. "I was selfish and I know you'll never forget it. And I may never earn your trust again, but I'll wait. I'll wait however long it takes."
I slowly walked over to the couch and sat down. I put my head in my hands and closed my eyes. "The worst thing is that I'm so stupid and naive that I'll forgive you one day. And I'll hate myself for it."
"I know I don't deserve another chance. I know you won't just give it to me, but this time I'll prove to you that I deserve it. I'll try and..."
"Stop." I jumped into his speech and looked at him over my shoulder. "Stop saying things you won't follow through on. It's only a matter of time before you go to New York again."
"What do you want me to do, Maya?"
"Right now?" I stood up. "I want you to leave." I turned my back on him and started walking away from him.
"What about Sebastian?" He shouted after me.
"What about him?" I stopped in front of the door of the room.
"He staying?"
"Yes." I nodded. "That's something you should have done a long time ago." I entered the room and closed the door behind me.
I went over to the bed and lay back next to Acker. It was so quiet that I know exactly when Theo left. He slammed the door behind him and at that moment I felt a tear slide down my cheek.
"Goodbye, Theo," I whispered and pressed myself against the sleeping Acker.
*****
I woke up in an empty bed. The place where Acker lay was already cold for a long time, and for some reason, I felt even colder in the empty room.
I supported myself with my hands so I could sit up and pull my knees to my chest. I ran my fingers into my hair and exhaled heavily.
I looked around the room and my eyes fell on a small piece of paper on my desk.
I moved and took it in my hands.
Knock on the door and wait for me to open it. - Acker
I frowned at the piece of paper and got out of bed. What is he up to?
I walked over to the door and knocked twice before I heard his footsteps and he opened the door.
"Just in time." He smiled and opened the door wide. "I hope you're hungry." He ducked out of my way and my gaze fell on my candle-covered apartment.
"What is going on?" I looked at him suspiciously and walked carefully past him. "Did someone break in here again or did they turn off the electricity?"
"No." He laughed and grabbed my hand. He began to drag me into the living room, where I noticed that the table was covered with food and there was wine on the edge.
"Acker, what is this?" I took my hand out of his and pointed to the living room.
"A date." He smiled and held out his hand for me to take.
"A date?" I frowned.
"Yes Maya, a date." He looked at his hand, which he still held in the air, and I carefully took it.
He started pulling me to the table again and we sat down on the floor where cushions were prepared for sitting.
"You look surprised."
"It's just...romantic." I shrugged my shoulders. "I didn't expect that from you."
"Ouch." He clutched his chest. "That touched me."
"Stop." I laughed and looked around again.
He really did all this just for me. I...I have no words.
"Wine?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Yes please," I answered him and he started pouring red wine into two glasses. He gave one of them to me and kept the other.
"On a first date?"
"On a first date." I smiled our glasses slightly touched. "Did you cook this?" I frowned when I saw spaghetti with cheese on top that was slightly melted.
"I tried." He laughed. "I had to call Kai, he's the one who knows all about this. I just hope it can be eaten."
"I'm sure it won't be too bad." I hope.
"If it's going to be..." He reached under the table. "I have a plan B." He pulled out two brown rectangular boxes from under the table. "Burger and fries." He smiled proudly.
"Oh, God." I laughed at how cute he was.
"But at least we can try what I created." He placed the boxes on the floor and pointed to the plates in front of us.
He handed me one of the plates and cutlery. "Well thank you."
Acker took the other and we looked at each other before leaning our backs against the couch and plunging our forks into the spaghetti.
"Let's hope I haven't poisoned us." It was a joke. I think.
I took the first bite in my mouth and oh my god. I didn't have time to stop the moan that came out of my mouth.
Only when I opened my eyes did I really regret it. Acker looked as if he wanted to snatch the plate from my hand and kiss me. I'd let him, but I'm really hungry.
"It's really good," I said with my mouth full.
"I heard." He licked the corner of his lips and we both went back to our plates.
I devoured it like the Rock in the movie game plan.
After I placed my plate on the table, Acker placed a box with burger and fries in front of me.
I couldn't resist.
I think I saw a small smile on his face as I reached for the fries. Looks like he's not one of those guys who starves his girlfriends so she'd have a nice figure.
You just called yourself his girlfriend?
"I'm full." I grabbed my stomach and pushed the box away from me with my other hand.
"What about my dessert?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Dessert?" I almost jumped to my feet. I am like a child.
"Kitchen." He nodded his head towards the kitchen and I immediately stood up.
I started walking to the kitchen and stopped at the table. "Where's the dessert?" I frowned at the empty table.
"I said..." I felt his hands on my hips. "My dessert." His lips found their way to my ear and his voice sent shivers down my body. "Now be a good girl and bend over the table for me." He whispered.
He didn't have to tell me twice. I quickly walked over to the table and stood in front of him, leaning against the edge.
I felt his presence behind me and it didn't take long for his hands to go down to my waist and pull my sweatpants down to my ankles.
He left a wet trail of kisses down my legs as he straightened up and ended up on my ass where he bit gently. A muffled moan escaped my mouth.
He ran his fingers along the hem of my panties. His touch was like little sparks running over my skin.
He suddenly grabbed my thighs and flipped me onto my back. My bottom hit the cold table, making me giggle.
I opened my legs to give him more access and judging by his smile, I pleased him.
He grabbed my panties and pulled them down. He touched my ankles and lifted them onto the table before slinging them over his shoulders and pulling me closer, his breath close to my opening. It would be enough for me to raise myself a little and his mouth would be inside me.
With his hands still on my thighs, he kissed my inner thighs. "Sebastian," I said almost out of breath, and lifted my pelvis. I want to feel his tongue inside me.
"Shh. I'm enjoying my dessert." He laughed into my skin and I ran my fingers into his hair. I pulled him by the roots and guided him to my pussy.
Yes, I can't wait. You wouldn't be different if this guy was playing between your legs.
When his warm mouth touched my clit, I controlled myself not to smother him between my thighs.
"Shit." I moaned as he entered me with his tongue. My breath caught in my throat and I pulled his hair harder.
His right hand disappeared from my thigh, but I quickly felt it next to his tongue. He slowly entered me with two fingers, which made me tighten around him.
He started moving his fingers inside me, in and out while his tongue played with my clit.
"You taste better than any dessert." He whispered and fucking hell, his breath and words so close to my clit almost brought me to climax.
In time he added another finger and I felt like I was in heaven, which is funny since this guy between my legs is the devil himself.
"Acker." I groaned as I was close and grabbed the edge of the table. I dug my nails into the wood and lifted my pelvis to his fingers.
I was a moaning mess. I didn't even care who could hear me, I hope they enjoy the show.
"Shit, Acker!" I screamed as I climaxed and Acker happily took everything I gave him.
Still a little out of breath, I tried to sit up. When Acker saw my attempt, he laughed and helped me. "I could have you for dessert every night." He smiled and kissed me passionately.
I felt my relief in his mouth and I liked it more than it should have.
I bit his lip and let go when I pulled away from him. I leaned against his forehead with a silly smile on my lips.
"Thank you for tonight." I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Did you like it enough to go on another date with me?" He laughed.
"On one condition." I pulled away from him to see his face.
God what am I doing?
"What is the condition?" He frowned.
There will be no turning back, Maya. Once you say it, it will always be there.
"Only if you'll be my boyfriend." And it's out.
Shit. Shit. Shit. What am I doing? Why did I say that?
Oh no, he looks at me like I have two heads. No. No. No.
"Or not." I blurted out trying to back out of this. "I don't know why I said that. You know what, just ignore me." I wanted to jump off the table and run into my room, but he grabbed my hips and ruined my plans.
"You're adorable when you're nervous." He ran his hand over my cheek.
"I'm not nervous." I crossed my arms over my chest.
If you're trying to get some dignity, forget it. It's lying somewhere on the ground with your panties.
"Okay." He laughed. "So what about that second date, girlfriend?" He smiled and at that moment I think I fell in love.
I just want you to know, that this book would be slowly ending in a few chapters but I decided that I'm going to write just some happy chapters after the "finale". I hope they're gonna make you happy and you won't be bored. ;)
