"You change one more time and we're not going anywhere." I said sternly looking at my phone while Julie tried every single thing in my closet. "You looked good in what you came here. I said yes to the red dress, the green blouse and skirt, and the purple dress." I looked up at her. "You look good in everything!"

"I know, but..." She looked at the pile of things on my bed. "They don't fit me the way they do you."

"Then you're blind." I put my phone down and stood up. I went to the closet and looked at what was left in it. "I've never worn this in my life, but it will suit you." I handed her a black skirt that had laces on the front and went back to the closet.

I grabbed one black top and a cream sweater. I added both to the skirt that Julie was already wearing.

"It looks better with this one. And more comfortable." I threw the t-shirt on the bed and handed her the sweater, which she immediately put on. "It's too long, so wear it like this." I went to her and fixed her. "Perfect, don't you think?" I stepped aside so she could see herself in the mirror on the closet door.

"Do you think he'll like it?" She bit her lip nervously.

"His loss," I grabbed her shoulders, "my gain." I winked at her in the mirror and we both laughed. "You might as well put on my favorite shoes. They'll suit you."

"Are you serious?" She turned on me at the speed of light. "Your favorite shoes."

"That's what I said, didn't I?" I smiled.

"Oh my god I love you!" She jumped on me and hugged me.

"Yeah, yeah." I laughed. "We're already late. We better get moving or your prince on a white horse will leave and you'll hate yourself for the rest of your life."

"You're right. But wait, you're not going in this, are you?" Her gaze fell on my outfit.

"Do you have a problem with my favorite shirt?" ACDC is written in red across the center and is long enough to be considered a dress.

"No, of course not, but..." She looked at me again.

"Ugh, okay." I rolled my eyes and walked over to the closet. I chose the first black leather skirt I could get my hands on and a black top.

I changed quickly and fixed my hair with only my hands.

"Satisfied?" I pointed to myself.

"Let's go." She smiled and walked out of the room.

My gaze fell on the pile of clothes on the bed. At night, when I get back, I won't want to clean it, I can tell you that already.

I grabbed the clothes in my hands and threw them on the ground. I'll clean it up tomorrow. Or sometimes on the weekend.

I took my cell phone and with it in my hand I headed for Julie. I closed the door to my room and found her at the front door, putting on her shoes. Well mine.

"What on earth are you wearing Maya?" I heard Theo sitting alone on the couch watching TV. Where is his shadow? Oh bad question, probably between someone's legs.

"Clothes?" I frowned.

"You know what I mean."

"Stop it Theo." I rolled my eyes and walked over to Julie, picked out a pair of high boots and started putting them on. "You sound like a mother. I'll be fine."

"Just don't stay out long. And text me if you need a ride."

"Don't worry." I laughed and went back to get the keys on the kitchen counter. "I'm big girl."

"Sure, sure. Whatever you say." He whispered under his breath.

"Those shoes will kill you, I hope you're aware of that." My gaze fell on my shoes.

"Shut up, Julie. Or I'll take mine that you're wearing." I pointed my finger at her and she quickly put her hands in a defensive gesture. "Later, Theo." I screamed down the apartment as I closed the door. "Here." I handed Julie the keys and my cell phone. "I didn't take my purse."

"Of course." She smiled and put everything in her purse on the way to the elevator. "Tonight is going to be amazing."

It is completely enough for me if it is tolerable.

*****

I feel like I'm back in high school. You'd think that as people got older, their party management would change, but I guess no one told Ronnie that.

Ronnie is a friend that I see about once a month, but neither of us mind. We met through Eddie and sat down. She's cool, but obviously has no taste for partying.

I don't know if this is her parents' house or hers, but I wouldn't want to be the one cleaning it.

A few people were lying on the lawn in front of the house. It's only eight o'clock. Looks like someone started early.

When Julie and I entered the house, the music was much louder than outside, which is logical.

"Let's find Ronnie and then Alex and Paul." Julie yelled at me over the music. I didn't even try to answer her, I just nodded.

We bumped into people at every turn. Looks like Ronnie didn't realize how many people were coming as well.

We found her almost immediately. She was in the kitchen next to the drinks, surrounded by a group of people.

"Ronnie!" Julie shouted at her.

"You came!" She stepped away from the people and walked over to us. She squeezed Julie and then me. "I wasn't sure, but I was hoping. You look amazing." She looked at both of us. "You came to steal my party, huh?" She laughed.

"Trust me, it's not possible." I smiled and looked at her dress. Wine red and short. On the right side, they had a cutout and a neckline that could made both of her breasts pop out. But she looks good in them. Why shouldn't she, right? Narrow waist, long legs and short hair.

"I found a guy for tonight, the sexiest of them all," she smiled seductively, "you can join us later. You know, like the good old days." She winked at me.

Oh yes. I also slept with Ronnie. Small detail. It was a threesome, which I don't remember much, but I am aware that I had it. That's progress if you believe it.

"You can't imagine how much I want to say yes, but this one," I looked at Julie, "got me a date."

"Whoa. Who's the lucky one?" She smiled.

"Maya!" I heard a guy's voice behind me, which was approaching us.

"Tell me you're kidding me." Ronnie whispered. "Slimy Paul?" She tried to hold back her laughter.

"Where do you store the hardest liquor?"

"I'll get you a bottle." She laughed.

"I've been wondering where you've been for so long." Paul stopped next to me.

He had longer brown hair, but not enough to put it in a ponytail, you know that cute ponytail that like the badass or really sweet guys wear, and a slight stubble that he didn't have when we last saw each other.

"You look good." He leaned in close to my ear and unpleasant chills went through my body. How am I supposed to last the whole evening with him?

"Thanks, I know." Be nice, Maya. You're doing it for Julie.

For Julie, who is currently leaning against the kitchen counter and standing in front of her is Alex, a tall, dark and handsome guy who can't take his eyes off her.

At least someone will enjoy it today.

"I'm going back to the guys, why don't you get me a drink and join us?" His hand wandered to my waist and he squeezed my hip, causing me to clench my jaw so I wouldn't slap him.

He then pulled away and disappeared somewhere in the crowd.

"Don't." I warned Ronnie when I saw her holding back her laughter. "Give me something that numbs me enough to ignore him."

"Sure thing." She laughed and I followed her into the kitchen. She took a bottle from the top shelf and poured herself and me a shot.

"Happy birthday." I lifted the shot and drank it all at once. A burning taste went through my throat.

"One more?" She raised an eyebrow. I didn't even answer her, I just moved the glass towards her.

"Do you think he would notice if I put a raw egg in his cup?" I took a red plastic cup from the line.

"Him? Probably not." She laughed and poured me another glass.

I reached for the closed beer and poured it into the glass.

"Let me know if you change your mind about the threesome." She winked at me and went somewhere into the crowd with a glass in her hand.

"God give me strength." I grabbed the shot and threw it into myself. "Because otherwise I'll probably kill him." With Paul's beer in hand, I headed in the direction he was going.

When I walked past Julie, she looked really happy.

Remember why you're doing it, Maya. You're doing it for Julie. She is really interested in him. Don't screw it up.

*****

I'll rip his balls off and stuff them down his throat if he doesn't shut up.

This is about the tenth joke "why women should only be in the kitchen". Before that, he talked about the positions in which he likes to fuck the best.

And according to what he said, I feel sorry for every single woman.

The worst thing is that this circle of people we are in is taking it right out of his hand. They laugh at every joke like his little fan club. I am sick of it.

"Maya honey why don't you get me something better. Ronnie stores quality stuff out of people's reach." He handed me his glass.

"Why? Can't you reach the top shelf?" That startled him a little. And he wasn't the only one. Everyone looked at me in surprise, only two women held back their laughter. "I think I found the reason why you think women belong in the kitchen. It's sad, Paul."

"It was a joke, Maya. Why don't you learn how to take one?"

"When you learn how to make one. I've had enough." I gave him one last disgusted look before turning and walking anywhere he wasn't. And anywhere where alcohol is.

I wrapped her short hair around my hand and slowly pushed her head lower and lower until I hit the back of her throat. A moan escaped my throat and I tilted my head back.

I knew she would be good with her mouth.

I pulled her by her hair and connected my lips with hers.

"Didn't you say you were going to get someone to join us?" I asked as I ran my hands over the bare skin of her thighs.

"I wanted to, but she already had something." She moaned as I sucked the sensitive skin on her neck.

"You have a whole party down there." Her party by the way. I think she said it was her birthday but I wasn't really listening. Ronnie? That's her name, I think.

"Believe me, no one down there is as crazy as her."

"So you should have convinced her." I grabbed her hips and threw her on the bed under me. I dropped to her feet leaving a trail of kisses down her legs.

"Maya is the kind of person that if she says no, you won't change her mind." Wait, what?

I stopped at her thighs and the hem of her panties. I looked up at her. "Maya?"

"Why did you stop?" She frowned.

"Maya Carter?" Please tell me I'm wrong and that she's not here.

"You know her?" She looked at me in surprise.

"A little. What is she doing here?" And why do I care? I have a woman in front of me who is willing to give me anything I ask for.

"Believe it or not, she's here on a date. Slimy Paul, who would've believed that." She laughed. "Otherwise she would definitely have joined us."

"I doubt it." I pulled away from her.

"What are you doing?"

What do I know!? "I'll go check on her and be back." I put my jeans back on.

"With that outfit she's wearing? I won't be surprised if you trade me for her." She laughed, which startled me. Why isn't she pissed off? Women in Seattle are strange.

"I won't be surprised if someone else is with you when I come back."

"Your loss, someone else's gain." She smiled.

"You have no idea how right you are." I walked up to her and gave her a quick kiss. "See you later."

"Good luck with Maya. You're going to need it."

"Thanks." I laughed and left her room. I went down the stairs where there was a couple licking each other on every other step. Get a room, people.

I walked through the living room and tried to find her in the groups of people, but she was nowhere to be found. I'm pretty sure I saw her friend with someone's tongue down her throat though. Good for her.

"Get your hands off me, Paul. You're disgusting." I heard a familiar voice from the kitchen.

I rounded the corner and my eyes fell on Maya, who looked neither excited nor sober, in the corner of the kitchen counter and some guy with his hands on her hips.

"You sleep with everyone, so why not with me?" He said before his hands slid down to her ass.

"Get off me you asshole!" She tried to push him away.

I walked up to them while none of them noticed me and grabbed the guy's shoulder. "If you don't want to end up with your head through the window, I'd take those hands off her." I warned him.

"Fuck off man." He shook my hand off.

"I warned you." I said calmly and grabbed him by his shoulders and started pulling him towards the garden door. I threw him through the glass door with no problem. The glass shattered and landed on the lawn next to him.

A few women screamed and a few people ran to help him. But most of them just watched.

Without making sure he was okay, I went back to Maya, whose eyes were almost falling out of her head. "Huh. I was hoping someone would do that." She laughed drunkenly.

"We're leaving." I grabbed her hand and started pulling her towards the front door. Quite a few people were looking at us, but I didn't care. "For the door." I took some money out of my jacket and handed it to a confused Ronnie before we left the house.

I need to get a Sebastian. Anyone know where they sell those?

I'm obsessed with releasing chapters at night, don't know why, but enjoy.
