I woke up with a start when I felt someone kissing me. I also heard laughter.

“Eww, Daddy,” I heard my son’s voice, filled with disgust.

“What? I love kissing your mom,” Mateo replied, showering me with kisses.

“I love Mommy too. Can I kiss her?” my son asked. What an innocent baby.

“Sure, come here,” Mateo said. I felt the bed sink.

I felt my son’s lips brush against mine, so I opened my eyes and smiled at the sight before me. Mateo was on my right, and Kyle was on my left.

“Good afternoon,” I said. Both of them winced, making me confused.

“B-bakit? May mali ba akong nasabi?” I asked, perplexed.

“It’s 7 in the evening na po, Mommy,” my son said, making my eyes widen and my jaw drop. I looked at the window and realized he was right. The sky was dark. As I came to my senses, I quickly stood up and went to the bathroom.

Kyle furrowed his brow. "Where are you going, Mommy?" he asked.

"Aren't we going to celebrate?" I asked back. Both of them shook their heads.

"You were in a deep sleep, so I didn’t bother to wake you up to pick up Kyle,” Mateo said, which made me frown.

“Ginising mo sana ako,” I said, pouting.

“I’ve tried, but nothing happened. You even threw a pillow,” he said, shrugging and chuckling.

“Pwede pa naman mag-celebrate ngayon, e. Tara na,” I said, but they both shook their heads.

“Tomorrow na lang po, Mommy,” Kyle said, so I nodded. "May bukas pa naman po."

“Sige, kung ayan ang gusto mo,” I said and went to my son.

“Yes, Mommy. You look tired,” he said, but I shook my head.

“Mommy is fine. Do you want to meet your Lolo and Tito?” I asked, remembering my father and brother.

“What Lolo and Tito? Andito naman sila. And Lolo Carlos, I already met them, right?” he asked, confused. I looked at Mateo to ask for permission, and he nodded in response.

“Mommy’s Father and older Brother,” I said, making him furrow his brow even more.

“They are in prison kasi may ginawa silang bad pero, si Mommy. I already forgive them, kaya I want you to meet them... is it okay with you?” I asked. He smiled.

“Yes po, Mommy,” he said with a smile, which made me smile back. “I have another Tito and Lolo.” He added happily. I smiled at him.

At eight years old, he was so mature for his age, probably because of Mateo. Kapag pinagtabi lang sila para silang magkapatid.

“After we celebrate, we will go to Lolo and Tito and buy them food,” I said.

It hadn’t even been a week, but I already had the strength to talk to them and forgive them. I wanted to forget what happened, let go of my anger, and start over.

We were at the table, ready to eat, because it was already 8 PM. It was just the three of us at the table, since my mom and Tita Majika were already done eating. Mateo and Kyle were waiting for me so I wouldn’t eat alone.

“Don’t forget to brush your teeth. Good night, anak,” I said to him after we finished eating. I kissed him on the cheek.

“Good night, Dad,” he said to his dad.

“Good night, son,” Mateo said, ruffling Kyle’s hair. Kyle then said goodnight to us and went to his room. We decided to go to our room as well and get some sleep.

Warning: This chapter contains SPG scenes. Proceed at your own risk.

“Are you sure you want Kyle to meet your dad?” he asked as he prepared to brush his teeth. I nodded. He was so concerned about my dad.

“Oo, wala namang mangyayari kung nasa past pa rin ako, e. Tsaka Papa ko pa rin naman iyon, at apo niya si Kyle,” I said to him as I started brushing my teeth. He didn’t say anything until I finished brushing my teeth and wiped my mouth. I quickly finished brushing my teeth too.

“This is why I didn’t regret loving you. You have a good heart and soft either. You can’t even get mad, but still scary,” he said, laughing. I laughed at his statement but didn’t answer, because I was busy changing into my nightwear. I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and kisses on my shoulder. I turned to face him, and he immediately captured my lips.

"Ah, M-Mateo" I moaned.

"Moan my name, wife" bulong nito ang halik nito ay pababa na ng panga ko hanggang sa dibdib, dahan dahan nitong inalis ang underwear ko at itinapon na lang kung saan iyon.

He spread my legs wider and then played with my clit with his fingers, I felt him cleaning my private part with his tongue while massaging my boobs.

"Ah! shit.... Mateo" ungol ko patuloy lang ito sa mag dila sa ibaba ng ko nang mag sawa ay pumatong ulit ito sakin at pinaghahalik ako unti unti kong naramdaman ang pagpasok ng ari nito sa pagkababae ko.

When I woke up, the sun was shining brightly, making my eyes widen. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 12 PM. I quickly sat up, but I ended up sitting back down when my middle ached.

Damn you, Mateo.

I turned towards the door when it opened and Mateo appeared, holding food.

“Good afternoon. I was about to wake you up to eat. Since you’re awake, come and eat. I know you’re tired and sore,” he said, so I sat up properly.

“Si Kyle? After I eat, I’ll take a bath, then we’ll go. I promised Kyle, and I want to keep my promise,” I said, shaking my head.

“No, wife. Kyle would understand you’re tired, so just rest here,” he said, but I shook my head repeatedly.

“Gusto kong lumabas kasama ang anak natin, and I want him to meet his Lolo and Tito,” I pleaded. He sighed.

“Fine, but tell me if you can’t,” he said, so I nodded and ate.

“Si Kyle, kumain na ba?” I asked as we finished getting ready.

“Yeah,” he said briefly, fixing his clothes. He was wearing a simple brown T-shirt and shorts. He also had on shades. I didn’t know what his deal was.

“Let’s go. You’re spacing out,” he said, waving a finger in front of my face, snapping me back to reality.

“Tama, tara na,” I said, urging him, and we quickly went out. I heard his laughter and the sound of the door opening and closing.

I went to my son’s room to get him. I knocked first, and I heard him shout, “Come in po!” So, I went inside. My son was wearing a brown T-shirt and shorts, just like his father. Handsome.

“Let’s go, anak ko,” I said.

“Okay, Mom. Where are we going po?” he asked.

“Sabi ko nga kahapon, mag-ce-celebrate tayo, and also para ma-meet mo ang Lolo and Tito mo,” I said, smiling.

He scratched his head. “They’ll like me? Hindi ba nila ako aayawan like my classmates?” he asked, which made me frown.

“No, why? Binubully ka ng classmate mo?” I asked, furrowing my brow.

“Yes, but-" parehas kaming nagulat sa biglang kalampag ng pintuan ni Kyle.

"What?! You’re being bullied by whom?!” Kyle didn’t finish his sentence when Mateo suddenly came in, his brow furrowed in anger.

“Dad, it’s fine. Lumalaban naman ako pabalik. You see, I hit my classmate in the face. Actually, you need to go to my school tomorrow,” he said, looking proud, which annoyed me. Mateo, on the other hand, seemed to have lost his anger and looked at his son proudly, grinning widely.

“That’s my son. If they try to bully you again, just hit them like this,” he said, pretending to punch. I walked up to him and whacked him on the head.

“Umayos ka kapre! Kung ayaw mong iwanan kita, kung ano-ano pinagtuturo mo kay Kyle!” I said, shocked that he would teach Kyle to hit someone. He immediately went to Kyle.

He motioned to his son. “Just kidding, don’t do that, huh? Your Mommy might leave me, but she can’t do that. She loves me,” he whispered. I heard him, so I rolled my eyes.

“Halina kayong dalawa, mag-aala-una na,” I said, urging them, and walked out first.

We were already in the car, and the two of them were so loud. Sometimes they’d team up against me, but I couldn’t help but be happy, because they were getting closer to each other, despite everything that happened.

It wasn’t long before we arrived at the Mega Mall. We were just entering when we heard whispers all around us.

“Shems! Ang hot nila. Cute family bonding. Kapag nag-anak ako, ganiyan din kami,”

“Ako rin, lalo na pag lalaki rin anak ko, ganiyan din kami ka-angas. Ganda ni girl, lalo na yung lalaki. Saan ba makakakita ng ganiyan, ng mapuntahan ko na,”

“Pwede ba patulan yung bata? Gwapo, parang yung tatay. May anak naman kung bawal na sa tatay.”

We ignored the whispers and went straight to the playground. Hindi na muna kami kumain, since we already ate before we left.

Kyle didn’t want to go there, because he said he was too old, but I told him this was our family bonding, so he just nodded.

They played basketball first while I took pictures of them, smiling.

“Hi, miss, are you alone?” I stopped taking pictures when a guy appeared in front of me. "Are you free?" he added. I raised my eyebrow and shook my head.

I rolled my eyes at him. “No, I’m with my husband and son, so back off,” I said and walked past him to go to my husband and son, who were looking at the guy with a glare.

“Is he flirting with you, Mommy?” my son asked, cracking his knuckles. I shook my head. “Do you want me to punch him for you?” he asked. I glared at him, and so did his father, who was grinning.

“Kung kayo ng Dad mo ang i-punch ko?” I said. They both shook their heads and my son gave the guy a glare, while Mateo raised his eyebrow at him.

The guy seemed scared, so he left. They smiled at me at the same time, then turned their backs to me and continued playing.

When they got tired of playing basketball, they played the claw machine. They boasted about who would get me a stuffed toy first. Whoever won would get to kiss me. In the end, Mateo won.

I had nothing else to do but take videos of them and laugh and laugh.

When the two of them got tired, we decided to eat at Jollibee.

“Ahm, wife, it is safe to eat here?” Mateo asked, looking like an idiot. He’s so rich, you know.

“Of course. Kyle and I used to eat here. Our favorite foods are here,” I said. Kyle nodded in agreement.

“If something bad happened to us, I will close this fucking-"

"Ituloy mo yang pag-mumura mo ng sa sofa ka matulog,” I said, not finishing him say a curse word because I pointed at him my fingers. He just rolled his eyes. I told them to find a seat.

“Good afternoon, Ma’am. What’s your order po?” the crew asked. I looked at the menu above.

“Tatlong 1 pcs chicken, 3 cokefloat, 3 mango pie, and 3 sundae,” I said. When I looked at the crew cashier, he was just staring at me. I waved my hand in front of his face.

“Okay ka lang ba, Kuya?” I asked, snapping my fingers. He seemed to come back to reality and frantically pressed the buttons.

“Y-yes, Ma’am. Ano po ulit order niyo?” he asked nervously. "Artista ka po ba, ma'am?" he asked. I shyly shook my head. Maybe he’s just tired. At saka sa mukha kong 'to artista pa ako?

“Y-yes, Ma’am. Ano po ulit order niyo? Sorry po, na-starstruck lang,” he said, stuttering. I shook my head. Nahihiya na.

“3 1pcs chicken, 3 cokefloat, 3 mango pie, 3 sundae,” I repeated. He nodded and pressed buttons on the screen.

“Do you have anything to add, Ma’am?” he asked, but I shook my head. After paying and getting my number, I returned to our table.

“What took you so long?” Mateo said, pouting like a child.

“Luminya pa ako, and the crew was staring blankly. He even ask kung artista ba ako, maganda ba ako?" I asked. Mateo and my son agreed.

“Yes you are, Mommy.”

“Yes you are, Love.”

They both said it at the same time.

Naramdaman ko ang pamumula ng pisngi ko. "At mukhang pagod siya, he’s probably just tired and sleepless. We have to wait for our order, so just wait,” I told them changing the topic. They nodded.

We waited for about 15 minutes before our order came. We were just eating and talking, while Kyle was quiet.

After we finished eating, we rested for a bit and shopped for Papa and Kuya. Then, we left and went straight to the precinct.

As we got closer and closer to the precinct, my heart was racing.

“Calm down, wife.” Mateo must have noticed how nervous I was, but I just smiled at him. We had just gotten out of the car, and Kyle was looking around.

“Kyle, halikana,” I called my son. He nodded and took my hand.

“Sino po sadya nila, Ma’am?” a police officer asked.

“Arthor Cartier and Anghel Cartier po,” I said, naming my brother and dad.

“Sige, Ma’am. Sa waiting area na lang po kayo,” the police officer said while checking the logbook.

I nodded and invited the two of them to go to the waiting area.

While Mateo and I were talking, Kyle suddenly spoke, stopping him from using his phone.

He nudged me. “Someone is coming, Mommy.”

“Anak, Grace.” I turned around, and there was Papa, with Kuya behind him, smiling. I stood up and quickly went to Papa to hug him.

“P-pa, K-kuya,” I stammered, starting to cry. Kuya went to us and joined the hug.

I sobbed while they were hugging me. “Patawarin mo si Papa at Kuya, nagbago na kami ni Papa. Sana mapatawad mo kami,” my brother whispered to me. I heard him sniffle.

Papa let go of the hug and knelt down, so I tried to get him up.

“Anak, patawarin mo kami. Nagbago na kami. Maniwala ka. Wala pang isang linggo pero bumalik ka sana. Napatawad mo kami kaya ka bumalik dito sa prisinto,” he said.

“P-pa, tumayo ka na riyan. Napatawad na kita… kayo ni Kuya… okay na ako,” I said, trying to get him up.

“Talaga? Grace, pinapatawad mo na kami ni Papa?” my brother asked. I nodded, and he quickly came to me and hugged me.

“Thank you, Grace. Thank you, thank you. Babawi si Kuya sayo,” he said repeatedly. Papa joined our hug. My husband and son were quiet. Kyle seemed angry at me because he was giving his Lolo and Tito a bad look.

“Anak… come here, meet your Lolo Arthor and Tito Anghel mo,” I introduced them. After crying, we calmed down. My son asked if I was being bullied by Papa, because he would fight them. But we just laughed at him.

When I looked at my son, he didn’t know what to do. He just stared at them curiously.

“What am I going to do, Mommy?” he whispered, but his Lolo and Tito heard him. I laughed.

“Bless ka anak,” I whispered back. He stood up and blessed them.

“M-my name is K-Kyle Levi Cartier-Montevallo po,” he introduced himself. Papa and Kuya smiled.

“Kay gwapong bata,” Papa said and hugged him. My son shyly looked down.

“Mas kamukha ang Tatay. Wala atang nakuha kay Grace, e,” Kuya teased. I rolled my eyes.

“Tse! Sakin niyan namana ang ilong,” I said, pouting. But he just laughed. My attention was drawn to Mateo, who was just watching me quietly.

“Okay ka lang ba?” I asked him. He nodded and looked at Papa and Kuya, who were playing with our son.

He smiled at me. "This is the happiest day in my life... we are complete" lumapit ako at niyakap siya.

I took a deep breath. “Ito rin ang pinaka masayang araw para sa akin,” I said to him. I was surprised when he stood up and knelt on one knee. He took a box out and opened it, revealing a beautiful ring.

I covered my mouth and looked at Papa and Kuya. They just nodded at me and smiled.

“I will not let this day pass without hearing your sweet “yes.” Will you marry me, Luliana Grace Cartier?” he said. Tears welled up in my eyes.

I sniffed. “Are you really proposing to me right now? We’re in a police station,” I said, sniffling. He just smiled.

“I want to marry you,” he said.

“I can’t l-let this day pass without proposing to you, without saying, Will you marry me? I can't let this day pass without hearing your sweet… yes,” he said. I nodded.

“I w-want to marry you. I want a happy family with you. Mahal na mahal kita, Mateo,” I cried. He chuckled, but a tear fell from his eye.

I extended my finger, and he put the ring on it. Then, he quickly kissed me and hugged me.

I heard clapping and shouts of “Congrats!” all around us.

“I love you, Mrs. Montevallo,” he whispered, kissing my forehead.

“I love you so much, Mr. Montevallo,” I kissed him on the lips.

I saw Kuya covering Kyle’s eyes. I laughed between our kisses.

He kissed me back.
