"Young Master Akira will be moved out of here!" "He will be transferred to another dorm as per the headmaster's request."

The words spoken by the staff continuously lingered in the minds of the four conflicted young men.

Before they could think of anything, their feet led them in the direction of the headmaster's office.

The staff called them, but to no avail; they weren't listening at all.

They continued to run until they reached the headmaster's office. Upon reaching the office, they saw Noah, exiting the office, with his face looking so conflicted.

"Noah?"

Upon hearing the cold voice calling out his name, Noah almost jumped out of his place and made a shrieking sound.

"A-ah!" "K-Khalid, everyone, you scared me."

Noah sighed in relief and shyly smiled at the four men in front of him. Khalid narrowed his eyes and nonchalantly stared at Noah.

"Noah! What are you doing at the headmaster's office?" Dylan asked. Noah, looking so surprised at the question, quickly looked away and scuffed his cheeks lightly.

"Uhm, I was just..."

"What?"

Noah closed his eyes and bit his lips. His hands were shaking slightly. These small gestures apparently didn't go unnoticed by the four men.

"Why are you like that?"

"Dylan, mind your own words."

"Tch"

Khalid smiled gently. He turned around to meet Noah's gaze and looked at him with eyes filled with gentleness.

"Noah, don't be scared." "Like usual, can you tell us what is troubling you?" "That way, we can be able to help you."

After his words were said, the door of the office suddenly opened. The headmaster stepped out with an indescribable chilliness surrounding him.

All of them eventually froze in place. faces, frowning while looking directly at the old man before them.

"Oho? What brings everyone here today?" "It's past the curfew already."

The headmaster said bluntly that his face was smiling but his eyes weren't, and that was something that sent shivers down everyone's spines.

It's not the first time they've seen the headmaster, but they still can't get used to his coldness.

"Greetings to the headmaster. We apologize, but we are here to inquire about something. can we?"

Even if he was still a little bit afraid of the monster before him, Khalid still tried to compose himself and straighten himself.

"Hm? " "And what would that thing be that you need to see me this late at night?"

"We need to..."

"No!"

Before Jayden finished his words, Noah suddenly interrupted him.

Now, all eyes were looking at him in puzzlement. Noah's heart pounded in his chest as all eyes were on him. He hesitated for a moment, but then took a deep breath and spoke up. He looked at Khalid with a meaningful gaze and then back at the headmaster.

"I apologize, Headmaster. It seems like they are worried about me visiting your office this late at night. I am sorry for causing you trouble."

"What? Wait, that's n--"

Khalid sensed something was going on, and Noah was trying to tell him something, so he cut Dylan off from his tantrum and kept his silence.

"Well, I see. I hope you'll better explain your reason to them. Now, I suggest you all return to your dormitories before you get found out by the discipline committee roaming around."

Noah quickly nodded his head. He dragged away Lucretius and Jayden, while Khalid and Dylan followed.

A sudden glint flickered from the headmaster's eyes that went unnoticed by everyone. As if realizing something, the old man secretly smirked in amusement. He stepped into the office and chuckled softly. "It seems like he can't be able to avoid them." "Their fates were already tied. Even if I do something, a human's fate is cruel and absolute."

"HO HO HO"

--------------

"Noah. Where is he?"

"......"

"You interrupted us earlier, that means you know what we came after, right?"

"......Y-yes"

"Then where is he? Why would the headmaster requested to move him out?"

"Wait! I don't know how that happened, but I think I know where he might....... possibly be."

Noah's voice was barely above a whisper as he spoke, but his words caught the attention of the others.

They looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to continue. "I was supposed to be the one picking up the transfer student tomorrow, but I just learned that Akira will take my place, and he'll become the transfer student's roommate too. I was worried when I heard about it. Akira dislikes being away from me, so I'm getting worried."

Khalid furrowed his eyebrows, trying to make sense of it all.

"Nonsense!, Why would Akira agree to it?"

"....It's not.... He's already gone home. And I have heard he is the one who requested it."

Noah bit his lip, trying to explain but only receiving a deathly glare from Dylan.

"Then, tell us where we can find this transferee; Akira might find it uncomfortable while staying with a total stranger." Lucretius mutters in a dry voice, earning everyone's attention.

They all looked at him, frowning.

Khalid sighed inaudibly: "Adress, give me the address of this transferee; we won't know what kind of person it is. Akira might be in danger if we left it alone."

"...!!, yes! Here"

Noah took out a folded piece of paper from his pocket and hastily gave it to Khalid.

Khalid unfolded the paper and furrowed his eyebrows after reading the content. His face grimaced. Everyone can't help but frown at the Crown Prince's dim expression.

"Where is it?"

"......Commoner"

"Commoner? You mean in the Outskirt for Common People?"

Jayden's eyes widened in horror. It's not only him; everyone except Noah has the same expression as him.

Noah can only tilt his head in confusion, his gaze seemingly seeking answers.

After that, they went back to their dormitories. No words were spoken again.

When morning came, the five went out of the school grounds to find Akira. It was a forbidden action to leave school grounds without permission from the faculty and the headmaster himself.

"Everyone, look! It's a cute pendant; it suits me, right?" Noah asked in excitement, blushing after he got a nod of affirmation from the others.

"Wait, that pendant looks like it suits Aki!" Noah said in enthusiasm when a star-shaped purple and a hint of pink pendant caught his sight. They were currently on the market side of the outskirts and were in front of a jewelry stall.

All eyes eventually fell on that particular pendant, currently in Noah's hold.

It was true. Just looking at the unique color of the pendant reminds them of Akira's unique and mesmerizing eyes.

"I'll b---"

"I'll buy this!" Noah exclaimed after cutting off Jayden's words. He doesn't even notice Jayden gritting his teeth in frustration.

Amidst everything, Khalid remained attentive to his surroundings. He kept looking around, while the others were busy choosing things that interested them. It was as if they had forgotten what they wanted to do.

It was then that Lucretius turned his head when his senses heard someone calling out Akira's name.

His eyes widened in surprise when he caught sight of a purple-haired man in the middle of the bustling crowd. It was visibly noticeable, seeing that the color of his hair was what made him unique from other people.

"AKIRA!"

He wasn't the type to start a conversation or say the first word, but seeing Akira, he couldn't help but shout out his name loudly. And this caught everyone's attention.

Now all eyes were in Akira's direction, and then they went to Akira's hand, currently intertwined in some stranger's hand.

As if their blood drained out of their faces, and a sudden chill made them stiffen in place.

Fortunately, Akira looked in their direction. However, the look he gave them made everything worse.

It was a look of indifference and only coldness.
