ALISSA'S POV

I was in Aries's room waiting for him to return from that white headed Eric's office. I wonder what kind of punishment he will give to Aries. Will he torture him and kill him then say it was a mistake? I swear if he dares to harm my brother physically, I will make him regret ever taking us in.

I'm afraid I will even have to break one of my promises to dad if he dares harm my brother. I will officially kill him without remorse.

I have been waiting for a while now, I can't help but want to kill or torture someone right now. That's what I do when I'm worried.

Finally, the door to Aries room opened, and he got inside. I walked towards him and examined him from head to toe, checking for any injury or scratch, but luckily, there was none.

"What did he say your punishment was?" I asked him.

"He said I'm grounded, and I'm not allowed to go outside the house for about a week." he answered in a bored tone.

"Oh, I see." After I said that, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," Aries said. The moment he said that, the door opened and revealed Rocco.

"You guys are called downstairs in the living room," he said and walked away.

"What the f*ck do they want now?" Aries asked the same question that was on my mind.

"Let's go, we will find out when we go downstairs," I said as a matter of fact.

We were all in the living room now waiting to know the reason why we were called here.

"Okay, listen up. One of our business partners is hosting a gala on Saturday, and we are all expected to be there well except those of you who are punished, " Eric said.

"Oh please, It's not like I was f*cking interested in going anyway," Aries muttered again, but he was only heard by me and Ryder this time since he was seated between u. I could see that Ryder was trying so hard not to laugh at what Aries said.

"Oh my word, really daddy, a gala? Mom, do you hear that, a gala, we have plenty of things to do, but we only have 2 days before the gala mom and those days we will be going to school, " Mia said.

"Don't worry dear, your dad talked to the principal, and he agreed to give you 2 days off so you will have the whole 2 days to prepare yourself," Elina, mia's mother said

"Mom, I want the most beautiful dress, okay?" This time, it was Camille talking.

"Yes, sweetheart, I will buy you the most beautiful dress," Hayley said.

"Don't forget to take Alissa with you when you go shopping for dresses," Matteo said. He is the only uncle that deserves that title, unlike the others.

"Yes, yes, I will take her along," Hayley said, giving me a smile.

"What?! No way, mom, " Camille said

"Camille, that's not the manners I taught you." Matteo glared at her

"It's okay, Uncle, I already have a dress," l lied. I don't even know if there is any dress in my wardrobe. Matteo looked at me, surprised. I didn't know whether it was because I called her uncle or what, but anyway, it didn't matter. As long as he was decent, I won't kill him.

"Well, as I was saying, there is a gala, so everyone is not going to school for these 2 days as you will be preparing yourself. Whereas for you Aries, you will just remain inside the house for a week, you're not allowed to go anywhere or get visited by your friends from school. That's all I wanted to say, you all may leave now. " The moment he said that me and my brother stood up and left, we didn't even spend a minute.

I walked to my room, and Aries was following me even when I got inside. I sighed and closed the door once he was in. He laid on my bed before scrolling down his phone.

"Wanna say something?" I said as I went to pick up my Mac book from where I was hiding it before sitting on my couch. I could tell there was something going on in his mind. That's why I asked that question.

"You know what, Ali, sometimes I feel like killing that mother f*cking white headed so-called uncle, and I just wanna go back home in Spain." he said.

"Oh, you're home sick," I teased

"No, I just don't wanna stay where there are too many people and annoying uncles, well except for Uncle Matteo."

"Yeah, right," I said

"Oh look, brother is calling," Aries said as he stood from my bed and came to sit beside me on the couch.

"It's a video call," he said and then clicked answer.

"Hey you two, how you doing. Big brother misses you guys so much, "Aid said, and I knew he was trying to annoy Aries by reminding him that he is the oldest.

"Oh f*ck off, if you have nothing better to say then why waste out time by calling, it's not like we missed you anyway" he said even though the last part we all knew he was lying.

"Stop lying, anyways how are you Ali, there is no one I need to kick when I get there right,"

"I'm fine, and you don't need to kick anyone." I smiled at him.

"When are you coming anyway?" I asked

"Oh yeah, that's the reason I called you guys. I'm at the airport right now in Spain, so I will arrive there in America in about 3 days time or something." he said

"Oh, in 3 days, there will be a gala hosted by Rossi's business partner," I said

"Oh, I see, then maybe I will be able to attend it with you guys," he said

"Oh no, Aries is not going. He got grounded today for a week." I smirked and turned to look at Aries, who was glaring at me.

"He got grounded?" Aid asked again, and I nodded.

"Why?" he asked

"Well, he got in..."

"Are you a storyteller, a police officer, or something? Do you get paid? No, right, then why don't you keep your mouth shut? It's like you are a machine doll who keeps an eye on me every time so that you report me to Aid." he said, annoyed.

"I never said you must seek trouble wherever you go, and I'm just telling my dear brother what is happening here," I said.

"Okay okay, you guys go to sleep, I bet it's already late there and please Aries STOP seeking for trouble, well at least until I come, bye and good night, brother loves you so much" with that he dropped the call.

Aries stood up and went back to lay on my bed again, and I just continued with my business on my Mac book.

"I'm going to sleep alright, don't sleep up late, good night," Aries said. I guess he is sleeping in my room.

"Yeah, good night."
