ALISSA'S POV
It's been 20 minutes now, but still, Aid hasn't arrived. This is not good, is he in trouble?.
I took a 3rd glass of vodka and drank it up in one go, I was about to take the other one, but Asher took it from me and drank it up. I gave him a glare, and he just shrugged. You see, that's the thing. He is not scared of me.
"What are you doing?" I asked him using my usual cold voice that could send shivers down people's spines.
"I should be asking you that you have been drinking too much. What's wrong?" he said, pulling me into a hug.
I sighed. "I talked to Aiden 20 minutes ago, and he said he would be here in 10 minutes, but now he hasn't arrived," I told him.
"Try calling him," he said. I took out my phone and tried calling Aid, but surprisingly, his phone was off.
"It's off, Asher. His phone is off. Something is really wrong, " I said, damn I'm going to kill somebody if anything happens to him. "
"Let me call Aries, maybe Aiden went home," I said, and Asher nodded.
I called and luckily his phone was ringing.
"Hello, sister, listen to me carefully, okay? I want you to call Fred, tell him we need help, and he must bring backup, " he said out of breath. What the fuck, this can't be happening.
"Tell me, where are you now?" I said walking outside.
"They've got Aiden, we're..." he was about to say something when a slap sounded through the phone.
"How dare you motherf*cker" someone said from the background then the call ended. They hit my brother? I'm going to kill them.
Right now when I looked around the ball, I saw non of my uncles , so my guess is they are the ones who kidnapped my brothers. I swear I'm not going to spare them
"What's going on?" Asher asked.
"The f*cking uncles took my brothers and they want to kill them. I'm going to show them that they messed with the wrong person" I said my voice so cold and dangerous.
"Where is your car?"I asked him. I came with Ryder on his car so literally i can't just go take it from him.
"Follow me" he said.
ASHER'S POV
We arrived where I was packing my black Lamborghini Aventador. Alissa though she looked calm, I could feel a dangerous aura coming out of her. She looked so badass and I LOVE IT.
"The keys" she said bringing her open palm forward.
I love my car, really, but I love myself more so it will be better if I don't anger her right now. I sighed and gave her the car keys. She got inside the driver's seat and I went inside the passenger one.
3RD POV
Asher slid into the passenger seat, gripping the dashboard nervously as she floored the accelerator.
The Lamborghini roared to life, tearing through the city's narrow streets at breakneck speed. Alissa's jaw was set in determination, her piercing eyes scanning the road ahead. Asher, usually unflappable, clung to the car's leather seat as Alissa swerved around corners with alarming precision.
"Alissa," Asher said, his voice laced with genuine concern. "I love you, but can we please not destroy my car tonight?"
Alissa shot him a quick glare. "Asher, they took my brothers. If you think I'm going to slow down for a car, you don't know me at all."
Asher gulped. "I'm just saying... we could take the SUV next time. It's more... expendable."
Ignoring his pleas, Alissa skidded to a stop in front of the Rossi's castle where her uncles were supposedly hiding. She kicked open the heavy iron gates and stormed inside, her heart pounding. Asher followed closely, one hand still clutching his car keys as if holding them could somehow protect the Lamborghini.
Room by room, Alissa searched the sprawling estate. Her uncles were nowhere to be found, nor were her brothers. The mansion was eerily quiet, save for the faint sound of the wind whistling through the corridors. She clenched her fists in frustration.
"They're not here," she growled, turning to Asher. "Where would they take them?"
Asher rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Your uncles aren't subtle. They'd want somewhere isolated, where they wouldn't be disturbed."
Alissa's eyes widened as a memory clicked into place. "The old winery on the outskirts of the city!" This was where they kept their most dangerous prisoners if they did not want to put them in the castle's basement.
"Ain't you going to change your clothes" Asher said looking at the gown she was wearing,
"Don't have time for that, those idiots might kill my brothers if I'm late"
Without waiting for Asher's approval, she sprinted back to the Lamborghini. Asher barely had time to climb in before she sped off again, the tires screeching against the pavement.
As Alissa weaved through the highway traffic like a woman possessed, Asher clutched his seatbelt and muttered prayers under his breath. "This car costs more than most people's lives, Alissa. Please!"
Alissa didn't respond. Her focus was razor-sharp, her mind fixed on saving her brothers. They reached the desolate winery in record time, the Lamborghini screeching to a halt in a cloud of dust.
When they went The Lamborghini roared into the shadows of the abandoned docks, its sleek frame gleaming under the dim lights. Alissa and Asher stepped out, guns drawn, their eyes scanning the old winery like predators hunting prey. The faint sound of footsteps confirmed their suspicions-guards were stationed everywhere.
Without hesitation, the couple launched into action. Alissa moved like a whirlwind, her shots precise, while Asher, ever the tactician, took down guards with calculated efficiency. Bodies hit the floor, and the scent of gunpowder filled the air. The last guard standing tried to flee, but Alissa's bullet shattered a crate inches from his head.
"Not so fast," she growled, her voice icy.
Asher grabbed the trembling man and slammed him into a chair. Blood dripped from the guard's lip as Alissa crouched in front of him, her face unreadable.
"Where are they?" she demanded, her pistol pressed against his temple.
The guard's lips quivered, but he said nothing. Asher, leaning casually against a crate, picked up a crowbar, spinning it in his hands. "You've got two options," he said calmly. "Talk, or we get creative."
The guard shook his head, his defiance wavering. Alissa sighed, glancing at Asher. "He's wasting our time."
Asher smirked and swung the crowbar, smashing it into the chair's armrest. The guard flinched violently, sweat pouring down his face.
"Okay! Okay!" he cried, his resolve breaking. "They-they're not here! Eric and Mike took them to the warehouse on the west side of the city!"
Alissa stood, her jaw tightening. "If you're lying-"
"I'm not, I swear!" the guard stammered.
Satisfied, Alissa knocked the guard unconscious with the butt of her gun. She turned to Asher, her eyes blazing. "Let's move."
Asher swung the crowbar at high speed and cut the guard's head.
"Why did you kill him" Alissa asked and Asher just shrugged.
As they sped towards the warehouse, Asher glanced at Alissa, his expression softening despite himself. "You're relentless, you know that?"
She smirked, her grip tightening on the steering wheel. "When it comes to my brothers, I don't stop. Ever."
Asher chuckled, shaking his head. "Remind me never to cross you."
The Lamborghini tore through the night once more, Alissa's determination burning brighter than ever. Her brothers were out there, and nothing-not her uncles, not their guards, not even the gates of hell-would keep her from bringing them home.
She knew, she will not spare anyone who was involved in this.
