The thick blanket of the night sky covered the streets, the street lamps lit the way he had to go to Amao's family bakery. He wore a hoodie and a mask to obscure his face so he looked unrecognizable to onlookers ,who traversed the street, and to potential class mates he might run into.

For some, night was the time their day had just begun whether it was for work reasons, night clubs, hanging out with friends or just for the fun of it, Ayato was out with a tools in his backpack with one goal in mind.

To sabotage everything Amao knew and loved.

It also reminded him of the time snuck into Taeko's house, watching her chest go up and down as she breathed her long hair everything about her was going to be his yet his eyes have been looking to another.

He cut a piece of her hair off to keep with him, his heart beat raced, he must ask his mother about her experiences with love to give him an idea.

He had snuck into the bakery from the staff and luckily civilian's were two busy walking up and down the streets to notice the mysterious figure, he dropped his backpack to the floor and a clank was heard, due to the equipment in his bag.

He analysed the area and spotted zero camera's, it seems they believed no one would do such a thing to them and that would be their downfall.

He pulled the crowbar at, looking at it from top to bottom then he put the tip in-between the crease between the door and then at first gently applied pressure and increased it till he heard a click and he successfully opened it.

He closed his bag and swung it over his shoulder before entering, with his crowbar still in hand, ready to finish off anyone in sight. His foot steps were light and calculated, and he approached the kitchen, he had previously looked online for health and safety and reason why bakeries would get shut down.

So putting his knowledge to good use he pulled at the oven, grasping it and pulling on it. He heaved with every pull definitely pulling every muscle in his body, till it revealed an extremely dirty wall, covered by the oven and wires strung to the oven like string.

He unzipped his backpack and remove a knife, placing it on a wire and pulling back and forth till he cut straight through, he then put the knife's tip under the rubber then turned it and cut upwards. He repeated the process exposing more wire and then got a screwdriver out and began unscrewing a socket till it's wires were exposed.

He subconsciously began humming a song, Y/n had sent him, it was the audio in some random cat video, she sent and two cats were fighting in it, he recalls specifically her typing under the video 'the battle of the pussies 💀'.

Her humour was surely something in a sense, she didn't care what people said about her being Musume sister, after all why would she care when her website has all their secrets.

Yes, he found out about her account, many things gave it away she never had an account of her own, her and the photography club leader spoke about it and info chan provided him with a few hints as well.

Kokona and Saki also invited him to join them along with Y/n to go to some arcade and they actually had a good time. They took a photo in front of that arcade with piece signs up and everything.

He went to open the refrigerator and look at the fresh fruits stored there, he took them out and replaced them with some rotten fruit he had stole from the garden club and unplugged it. He decided to get a move on because things were starting to take a while and began to use full force to smash plates and glass and scattered the pieces that glistened like diamonds under rugs, mats, tables and anywhere someone had the chance of stepping on it.

He even stole all the gloves and hair nets staff were supposed to use, he began pounding the crowbar into the wall, searching for a gas pipe. His breathe was raggedy and unsettled and his chest went up and down quickly. He tried to greedily inhale some air as the strength he once had in his arms were gone and he stared down at the pipe.

This place will be history.

With the last of his strength his crowbar collides into the pipe over and over again, till he freezes and listens only to hear the hissing off a pipe emitting gas in the air.

For Taeko.

He coughs, already deprived of oxygen and taking in carbon dioxide could be lethal, and he didn't have time for that right about now, so he bolted for the back door and ran out.

Then morning came shortly after and he rushed to place a note in Amao's locker which reads:

I want to speak with you about your parents bakery. Please meet me at the school gate at the end of the day I'll hope you'll be there.

He slid the note into the slits of his locker and rushed turned to see a puffy eyed Amao with his head held low. Oh how he wished, he could feel happy because of his sadness but he'd have to wait a little longer before that became a reality.

Y/n had done it!

She had placed so many bugs around the school in so many gossip hotspots even she was shocked with herself and she was so over joyed that she planned on treating herself with a cupcake from the bake sale.

She'd push the Info-chan stuff out the way for a moment and try to live, and enjoy high school. She entered the courtyard to see the well decorated stand and a sea surrounding it. People practically threw money at the stand to try their cupcakes and octodogs that she was worried they'd all be gone by the time the crowd dispersed.

She even saw Taeko helping Amao with the crowd, she was probably nervous since so many people around and her face was flushed pink and she shook like a leaf.

Thankfully, her two super, amazing and fantabulous best friends where already there at the front and walking towards her with three cupcakes Saki holding one Kokona holding two.

"Have I ever told you two how much I love you both?" Y/n spoke in a lovey dovey tone practically salivating at the sight off her frosted treat.

"Yes , Y/n we know." The pair say at the same time causing them to all laugh they all chat and laugh till she sees the time and almost pass away, "Could you stop the any teacher entering the building so I can sneak through?" She speaks really quickly as she walks off not even hearing there reply.

"Sure? Y/nnnn- Okay she's gone." Kokona sighed, "I wonder what she's going to do."

Y/n stands outside info chan's window and all she can think off is that Tangled movie with Rapunzel, the urge to tell Info-chan to let down her hair is killing her but she also doesn't want to get hit with a pan if she ever gets up there.

The window opens and who she assumes is Info- chan drops the tape footage down ,which is on a cassette with such disregard that Y/n almost misses catching the tape.

She sits on a white bench and sighs unfolding her map out her pocket, she made the foolish mistake of trying to ask the delinquents if anyone walked past- Well no that's not what happened she knew they'd clobber her with their weapons. But what actually happened was she suddenly stopped walking in front of them and they took it personally.

Luckily, Budo her hero whooped all their assess so hard their faces were black and blue with dried blood under their noses. How do you even lose to one of person when the delinquents are a gang of people?

How embarrassing.

Well during there little fight her eyes landed on Budo, he was handsome, strong and just the man for her. She resisted the erge to twirl her hair with her fingers and giggle like a schoolgirl, in love. Her heart fluttered when he asked if she was okay and if she needed to be carried to the nurse's office which she said yes to, a bit too quickly.

And there he was carrying her like they were a newly wedded couple and placing her on the bed, she watched as he left and didn't even hear the nurse ask why was she brought into her office.

She just nodded not hearing a word and the nurse came closer to place the back of her hand onto her forehead, only for her to vomit up chunks of her breakfast and that cupcake right in her face.

Ayato visited her as they had become more use to one another, sometimes he'd let her fall into the habit of her gossiping about people but she didn't mind. He also likes to pop up randomly behind her and it still scares her since she can never hear his footsteps.

He also and Budo visited a couple of times throughout the day till they ran in at the same time and awkwardly stared a conversation, she was happy Ayato was slowly talking to more of her friends.

Kokona and Saki came by her side till they got stuck in the nurse's office aswell for throwing up. Then a sickness suddenly spread like an outbreak throughout the school of vomiting and many people were sent home including her and her friends since the nurse's office could only hold so many people.

Ayato had heard many people were sent home so the rest of his day went quick and now he and Amao were walking through town. Then they stopped in an alleyway because it had a soda vending machine. Amao had his back leaned on a wire gate but when he pulled away a tiny piece of his trousers got ripped off.

"My condolences for what happened to the bakery, Amao." Ayato stated, in a 'sad' tone tossing him a soda can that he caught with ease, his eyes looked to the entrance of the alleyway and he swore he saw Kokona for a second but he brushes it off.

"My parents worked so hard for that bakery all for it to get shut down because of a gas leak some exposed wires and faulty sockets. None of that was there before it was in excellent condition, well as excellent as my parents could make it, we were dependent on that store..." Amao mumbled the last part and subconsciously rambled about the bakery and the memories he had gotten from it, he hadn't even noticed when he entered Ayato's house.

Click.

The door locked behind Amao and he sat in the designated seat next to the counter in Ayato's parent's kitchen.

"Amao, I believe that bakery was a heavy weight on your shoulder, a burden and I've seen how drained you look with so many responsibilities. Sometimes, you just need to cut burden's off, if you want a problem solved always start at the root." He declared, Amao had his back facing Ayato not being able to see the knife he was slowly pulling out of its holder.

"What burden do you have Ayato? If you don't mind me asking." Amao asked.

"You. You're my burden, and I like to finish them off" Ayato chuckles psychotically, Amao turns and is pushed to the floor with a thud and his hands nails dig into Ayato's arm trying to weaken his grasp around his neck.

Ayato has his knife held above his head ready to plunge it deep into his skin, but he wants to taunt his prey a little. The grasp lessens around his neck so he can hear every word he's about to say but not loose enough to escape.

"Your parent's bakery is getting shut down..." Ayato chuckles trailing the knife along his neck, Amao saw the insane grin on his face and words refused to leave his throat, he wanted to ask, why?

Amao's face fell pale at his words.

"And then, the bake sale went to shambles as well, all that you've worked for is gone. And now, you will be gone as well." Ayato whispered, taunting him his knife ripped through the first layer of his skin on his thigh and Amao let of a groan similar to a wounded creature.

The silver blade cute brutally deep and a coat of fresh red blood covered the entirety of it and the wound burned painfully as it was exposed to air. He ripped it out and then he wiped some of the blood off on his neck, "I wonder how your parents will feeling knowing their life's work is gone, and their child." He smiled, before stabbing his neck as well, Amao's scream was cut short and he let of a gargle as if he was drowning, but on his own blood.

Ayato let go and stood up watching as he struggled and shook, Amao's hands wrapped around his own neck to stop blood from seeping out while, Ayato tilted his head to the side watching his movements get sloppier and slow.

"Your acting as if your dying Amao."He chuckled, he kneels down watching Amao struggling on the floor.

Ayato looked from Amao to his knife, he wasn't going to get to his door, he was going to die in this house.

"Since you're going to die here, why don't I tell you what your body is going through, right now?" He questions, he doesn't wait for a response, it's not like Amao can reply anyways, "I'm sure you can feel your pulse getting faster..And it will soon stop entirely...Do you feel it getting quick?"

He plunged his knife into the side of his knee, the blade ripping through muscle and skin in his leg and began to drag the blade through, agonizingly slow till he decided to stop at his ankle. Amao let out a gargled scream, no one will ever find him. He likes that he can get up close and personal with his rival and he can see their face as the life drain out of their eyes, watching them succumb to a well deserved demise.

"Ah, what's wrong Amao? Cat got your tongue? I would how your dear old granny will feel, knowing that you're gone. Maybe I can send her down to hell with you." Ayato taunts, laughing at Amao's expression, the way he's in excruciating pain but still gives him a stare off strong hatred. He gets a sudden rush of adrenaline and he grabs Ayato's ankle, Ayato sends a him a huge kick to the face and he heard a loud crack.

His breathing was fast as if he couldn't truly get a sufficient amount of air to his lungs as he fought with all his strength to survive. Not only was he drenched in sweat but blood as well, his skin was cool he closed his eyes for a moment before returning back and waking up. Amao was disoriented but he knew this wouldn't end well.

Amao's grip loosened and he stopped struggling and the realization he wasn't making it out hit like a brick, his vision began to blur and his arm hovered above the floor slightly in the direction of the door till it fell with a thud onto the oak wood floor.

The strength left his body and he decided to sink into the ocean of death, excepting his fate, memories flashed before his eyes and he closed his eyes to continue this pleasant and peaceful dream.

Ayato watched as he fell limp and his blood dampened his shirt, trousers, neck and floor.

The once boisterous and thoughtful cooking club leader had fallen silent.

He looked away from the corpse and looked at the countertop where he learnt and important lesson from his mother.

He was much younger then, accompanying his mother in the kitchen while his father was yet to return home. He could hear the chops from his mother, busy chopping a cucumber while humming a song. The clank the wooden spoon made against the plastic bowl as he mixed and the bubbling of the pot on the stove.

"Ouch." His mother, (Ryoba) gasped, causing his head to perk up and turn to help aid his mother's cut finger. "Oh dear! Your clumsy mother got herself hurt!"

The slit on her finger oozed out blood on her pale finger, "Would you mind cleaning up the blood while I bandage myself, dear?" Ryoba asked, as her blood dripped four splotches off blood onto her white chopping board. "Okay." Ayato replies in his same monotone voice that sounded slightly high pitched due to his age at the time.

He rushed to get a cloth and dampened it using tap water, then ringing it out and whipping the blood away.

Once he's done he presents the now clean board to his mother, "It's clean." Ayato spoke, awaiting his mother's answer.

"Thank you dear! You might be surprised to hear this, but actually, the blood is still there!" She said, with a plaster now wrapped neatly around her hand, "Here, let me show you."

She opens a draw and removes a small glass bottle, "See this dear? This is called 'luminol.' Here, let me show you what it can do." She said with a mysterious glint in her eyes, "First, I'll spray it where the blood was."

She sprays two pumps of the liquid onto the board.

"Now, I'm going to turn off the lights."

Click.

The room was covered in darkness yet he watched his mother's actions intently.

"Next I'll use something called a "blacklight". Look what it can do sweetie." She spoke, and he went onto his toes to see exactly what this blacklight was doing.

"See that? Blood combined with luminol will glow under a blacklight! Isn't that amazing?" She spoke in awe, removing her gaze from the board down to him.

"Now, I'm going to show you something called 'hydrogen peroxide' ."She holds up another vial of liquid and turns the light back on.

"First, I'll sprinkle it where the blood was..." She trailed off, "Then, I'll rub it in real good." She picks up another cloth and moves her hand in a circular motion as she rubs the liquid in.

"Now, I'll turn the lights off, and...Now, the blood is completely gone! Not even the blacklight will show it." She turns the black light on again to prove that the blood has now completely disappeared.

"Isn't that just amazing, sweetheart?" She smiles, "Now you know the proper way to clean up blood! I hope this comes in handy for you one day."

And it did come in handy, he had done the task of wrapping the corpse in a bin bag and barging into his basement to leave it till the morning, and he was busy humming away while mopping and the floor was spotless.

The light glinted on a vial hydrogen peroxide...
