2 days and a half earlier Hannen Joint Air Base, Havenklein, 30/9/1702 In broad daylight, planes of the Flash Air Force (Luftforsvar/Luftforsvaret) can be seen loading up troops and equipment including vehicles, more specifically, G-Wagons as they're often called by the Flash troops, Pansartransporters (AMVs) and trucks.
Members of the Esterrian Wyvern xCorps who operated the airbase alongside them watched the whole process, and they were understandably a bit upset about it, including a certain captain Jan Noordink.
"It is truly a shame that some of these Flash troops go" muttered one of the wyvern riders joining him.
"At least it's only some of them" said another one of the group "It's not like they're pulling out completely, so we're not defenseless for the time being"
"Speaking about being defenseless..." said Noordink "...Do you think that we would be hopeless if we were to fight the Kingdoms Union alone? If we're going by if no one comes to help us?"
"Most likely no, we already seen how badly we did in the war without Flashia's weapon"
"That is exactly why I'm quite grateful for their contribution even if we're only halfway through the process of equipping all of our soldiers. We probably wouldn't win that war if it wasn't for their timely intervention, and I would dare to say we could now take the KUG head on even when we're alone"
"You speak wise word captain..."
They continued on watching over their Flashia counterparts as one of the C-17s would begin to taxi to the runway for planes that the Luftforsvar operates.
"I understand why they're doing this, but the only thing I am not happy about is that we still don't have planes of our own"
That inadvertently made Noordink to chuckle as he had not expect those words to reach his ears. The captain went on for a short while before he spoke again.
"Maybe some day, we will. For now we just have to stick with our flying friends"

Geschnokean Embassy in Barminde, Flashia, 1/10/2017 The Geschnokean Ambassador to Flashia is sitting in his office has been attentively listening to the radio when a knock to his door was heard.
"Come in" as he then turns the radio off in a quick motion before a staff then enters the room "Ah Marko, of course it's you"
"...I'm not too sure what you mean by that" replied Marko with his face displaying confusion.
"You paid frequent visits to my office in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised if you would pay another... Now, let's just get to the point, what brings you here?"
"Ah yes, so Flashia, their government issued out an inquiry about a certain country..."
"You mean Beria?"
"...H-How did you know that?"
"It probably has something to do with the fact that I have already heard about it this morning in the news"
"...Err..."
"Oh right, Beria, ehem..." the ambassador cleared his throat "So what's the deal with them asking about Beria, can you tell me?"
"Well, they just want to ask about the general information and our stance towards them"
"I knew it would come to this..." as he then opened a file that was already laid on his table "So the Kingdom of Beria... a country of the polar bear folks of the North, once the frontline against the stragglers after the Old Empire had all but disappeared"
The Old Empire refers to an empire that once spanned the vast majority of the world, with the presence often equating to an iron fist rule. They possessed one of the most advanced magic even after a millennia, which was used to great effect in their military. Because of that, more than two-thirds of the world fell under their control for three centuries, subjugating every other species while also recruiting demons to carry out their repression.
(I have no idea what kind of species would run the empire so can someone give me some ideas? Maybe join my discord even? https://discord.gg/UqgavrsYUd)
That would be ended by an unilateral decision by the Gods, after their declaration to surpass the Heavens, with them bestowing what is called 'The Divine Punishment' with meteor showers shortly after, severely weakening them and starting off a massive war.
In a way, the ones fighting against the Old Empire had achieved their goal with the Empire mysteriously disappearing into thin air. Nonetheless, the great war left devastating marks, leading to the creation of the Kingdoms Union as everyone knows it today to speed up the recovery process.
"That empire may be gone, but some still remains loyal to them. The Northern Demon was no exception, and because of that, the KU assembled a big army, fleet and aerial forces to finish them off for good.
The battle for the Northern Islands was not without another great bloodshed however, as we did took quite heavy casualties. But after 6 grueling months, with the Heroes Trinity defeating the Demon Lord, putting him to indefinite sleep, the Northern Islands were liberated, and now we know it as Beria..."
"That's fascinating... but what about our stance though?"
"Well, Geschnokea was one of the participant of the Northern War, played a big role in liberating them so it's safe to say that we have friendly relations with them even though Beria was not recognized as a Civilized Country for whatever nonsensical reason. But now, I've heard that with the Dominion is considering re-visiting now that we have another Demon Lord, if you know what I mean"
Janos then closed the file.
"I see..."
"Anyways, you can send this document over to their ministry that is in charge with diplomacy and foreign affairs"
"You sure?"
"I'm sure" the ambassador then hands out the documents "After all, it's not like it's a secret or anything"
Marko reluctantly took it from the Ambassador's hand, looking at the document then back to his superior.
"It's fine, you may leave, just give it to them as an answer"
Without saying anything further, Marko turned around and walked out of the office.

Gladahjuland The ramp of the C-17 slowly but surely lowers down after it had taxiied off the runway. The cargo it's carrying is a company worth of the Faldskærmtropper belonging to the 1st Battalion of their unit.
"I was wondering when I'm going to get off"
"Bit crowded isn't it?"
"Yeah man, it's just unbearable there with how cramped it is"
"Maybe that's because you're a big guy?"
"Shut up"
With the ramp having been opened up for them, the airborne troops walked off the plane in 2 lines with each representing either of the two platoons that make up their company. Both of them would head towards the buses that had been arranged for them as part of the procedure.
"Can I just say that I just want to get the weight off me?"
"You wouldn't be alone bud"
"Hey, at least we carry less than what our counterparts like in Pansarjæger do"
"Doesn't make it better though..."
These paratroopers that would be getting onboard the buses will join part of the forces in the Forsvaret to participate in an ongoing operation started in response of the recent news about the country of Beria breaking out.
And it's not only Gladahjuland but also Tilenogtyve, Animaatland and the remote Svarher where troops would be flown and ferried in, all with one goal of reinforcing the North.
...
Speaking of Svarher... this is another island state of Flashia after Agevær, and also their most remote by far. Those characteristics are attributes of the fact that the Svarher Island is located way up North.
This puts it at much more risk than others, not only in that it's closest to the recently coup'd Beria, but it's also far away from the mainland as mentioned. And this is not mentioning the extreme cold that is also one of the characteristics of this state.
Nonetheless, being so strategically important in the current situation, Defense Forces troops presence increased, reaching a record high figure with 2 entire brigades from the Land Army being stationed alongside the locally garrisoned Home Guard.
"Hey Commander..." said the driver of a Pansar as they transited along the relatively empty road "Do you mind if we see the outside for a bit?"
"And freeze our faces in the process?" replied the commander "No fucking way, thank you very much"
"Aw come on! It's not that bad!"
"I would rather stay buttoned up than having icicle's sticking out my nose. Maybe after we get to base"
"Well, you do you man"
The TC then turned to his loader to the left, laughing as he overheard the whole conversation.
"Oh, that was great" said the loader as he is still giggling "That was fucking great"
The TC smiled along before he turned back to his monitor while shaking his head at the same time.
...
Undisclosed Location In a location not known to the general public, operators under the command of the Ministry of Defense themselves went around their business preparing for the operation.
"After months on end..." muttered one of the operators "They finally put us in action eh?"
"Yep" said another "I still don't get why they didn't deploy us to Gevaka when that happened though"
These operators are part of a group known as the Territorial Recon Force, TRF for short. As their name implies, they're an SF unit specializing in reconnaissance, (usually) operating in Flash territory as they're technically part of the Home Guard.
What they're currently doing for now is preparing their gear with the weapons made sure that they were working properly, plates inserted into the carrier and other things like magazines put into pouches and rucksacks.
"I wondered why our rifles are painted green..."
"My guy, just look outside, you'd see why"
(just to be clear, I know it's wrong, it's just how I make them interpret stuff)
...
"I don't know about you, but are you sure we're doing the right thing here?"
Northern Archipelago, Gladahjuland A group of Land Army soldiers had constructed a cottage with a set of clothes from the Berian Princess hanging on a wire. This one is intended as a bait as according to Sive herself, the Demon Lord wants her head.
"Does it matter?"
"Yeah, it does! What if we commit a warcrime or something?"
There is also another cottage similar to this one but on a different island, both would be overseen by 2 squads of the TRF operators.
"To be fair, I don't think the Convention even applies here and the ones we're dealing with are demons, not humans"
"...Well you got me there... I still don't get how we got Sive to agree to this though..."
"Me neither"
...
2/10/2017, 0020 A TRF operator opens up his eyes from a nap to his fellow waking him up.
"Come on, get up" he whispered "We got visual on 9"
The operator then sits up, rubbing his eyes with his palm to get his vision up to speed before proceeding to look for his stuff while his mate went off to join the others. He picked up his rifle of Gladahjulish origins and his assault pack before proceeding to regroup with his team.
"...The hell is going on?" he asked with his mind still foggy.
"We got 9 lizardmen in black going for the cottage" replied his comrade "Looks like that princess was telling the truth after all"
Both of them would soon get back to their fireteam situated along the tree line overseeing the front entrance of the cottage, the guy who woke up then put on his NODs. By this point, the lizardmen had already broke into it like a fish chomping a bait.
"We got 2 outside in visual" said their FTL (Fireteam Leader)
"Lone one from ours" said the 2nd FTL who happens to be the squad leader over the radio.
"And I guess that means 7 inside, sir?"
"Correct"
The operators in their crouch positions proceeded to raise their weapon up at the cottage with the lizardmen.
"I hope we don't put any lead on her clothes in the process..." said one of the operators.
"I hope so too..." said the FTL.
In the brief tense moment, the radio would come into life once more, delivering a decisive order from the SL:
"Weapons free! Fire! Fire! Fire!"
What followed after is an immediate flick of the thumb on the firing selector and a forceful pull of the trigger, resulting in the treeline erupting into a light show of yellow with 5.56 and 7.62 sent out the barrel and into the lizardmen position.
...
The leader of the lizardmen assassin squad sent by the Demon Lord found himself hugging the ground after him and his other 8 had apparently walked into an ambush. They expected it to be quick and easy job, instead they found themselves in a killzone with everyone none the wiser.
They never expected to face a force that was already prepared for them even days prior. Because of that, they paid dearly by losing 4 of their member in a blink of an eye. Keeping himself low, the leader looked up around him.
He saw bullets of light going through the walls like they don't even exist at all, only possible using high-level and somewhat destructive magic. The leader then saw his fellow lizardman in front of him, showing signs of distress.
"Sthonok!" he called out to him, the guy turning to him in the midst of the chaos "Sthonok! Come here!"
Sthonok looked around him for a brief moment before then reluctantly start crawling to the leader.
"That's it, just come here..." as the leader then reached his hand out as Sthonok slowly gets closer "Just come here and take my hand, you'd be fine..."
Slowly but surely, he and Sthonok closed distance, with the latter now trying to reach the leader's hand. That is until a bullet going through the walls went into Sthonok's head.
As sudden as it was, the leader stood silent, speechless as to what he witnessed, all while staring into the face of the now dead Sthonok. Then lowering his hand that was once to get a hold of the other, he looked around him to see the shooting quieting down.
The leader stood up to a kneeling stance next to the corpse still in shock and confusion.
BANG-BANG... Thud
It was only the start of the nightmare that turned out to be too real for him however, as the mysterious ambushers have now encroached into the cottage they took position in, killing one...
BANG-BANG-BANG
And another...
"NO NO NO NO-"
And before anyone knows it...
BANG
He would be the last one standing.
One of his enemies comes into sight, but instead of fighting back, he promptly raised both his hands up.
"I SURRENDER!" he shouted while still kneeling.
The man in question would reveal himself in a strange array of green equipment, holding a green stave and with a certain stance that once again left him speechless. That stance was extremely familiar for him, even though it's only drawings he saw and stories he heard, it still holds striking similarity to what was described.
"A-Are you the W-Warriors of the Cross?" he muttered.
"...What?" was the answer he got from the strange human in clear confusion even with the mask on. The other humans in green would come in, surrounding him then restraining his hands behind his back.
To him, the hit ended in utter failure and humiliation, also betraying a lot of regrets in partaking in this mission that got everyone but him killed. He shamefully accepts his fate in the hand of this mysterious human group, as the leader of the squad that was no more was escorted out.
...
"Yo, check on the clothes!"
"Got it, give me a bit"
While the TRF escorted the only survival out, one of the operators would stick his head out the window which faces the hanging clothes.
"Alright, looks like we're all good"
"Phew, I thought we were going to hit them in the process-"
"No wait, there's one with a hole..."
"Vittusaatana!" (God fucking damn it!)
...
Forsvaret Central Command HQ, Seulalu, Animaatland In the wake of the morning, the Forsvaret Central Command gets their hand busy again." as officers of high ranking would be gathered in a room, as they would start off a new day with the briefing.
"Recently, there was a minor ruckus in the Northern Gladahjuland in midnight" said one of the Home Guard officers from the Northern Defense District "From there, the Territorial Recon Forces had engaged in a short fight with a squad elements of what seemed like reptile folks after they had caught one of the two baits"
The projector then showed pictures taken in the aftermath of the engagement, showing specifically the lizardmen with black capes as they laid dead.
"According to the reports, out of 9 that entered the bait cottage, only one was captured alive" the projector switched over to a mugshot of the not-dead lizardman "From the firefight alone and the context of how it happened, I think it's safe to say that princess wasn't lying at all. That's all for now"
"Very well then" said the Supreme Commander "So tell us what we know from him so far..."
"So far, nothing much. We only have his name and his allegiance, which is the Demon Lord's Army back in Beria... Interestingly enough, he does sometimes refer to us as Warriors of the Life God"
The others in the room looked at each other, bewildered from hearing such a nickname.
"Why does he refer to us as some sort of emissaries from a god?" whispered one.
"I have no idea, probably mistaking us for a myth of this world..." whispered another.
As the officers whispered a few things back and there, the Supreme Commander can only say "Interesting..." before moving on.
"Gentlemen, I suppose you'd know what to do at this point. As for me, I will be raising alert level to Beta"
Beta is the 3rd highest alert level for the Defense Forces, and it's the second time it was set at that level since Reunification Wars and the KUG invasion of Gevaka. It's important to note that while the transfer posed significant concerns about their national security, it was Charcoal at best.
(For anyone's wondering, from lowest to highest, it's Essence-Dud-Charcoal-Beta-Alpine-Extreme (X). Funny thing is that Extreme was never reached even in the Southern Flashia Wars and the Reunification Wars since this system was first implemented in 1985)
"If no one got any question, you can leave the room, form a plan in response to this and report back to me when you're done"
...
Hošče, Demonic State of Beria, 2/2/1702 The Demon Lord sits on his throne, with the looks of disappointment on his face.
"It has been 7 hours..." he muttered "And they have not report back to us..."
"My lord!" said one of the ogres "Please forgive me! I do not know where they have gone, they might have encountered-"
"Do not worry, I understand"
"Huh?"
"Failure is bound to happen anyways, and for now, we shall shift focus on strengthening our army to invade the rest of the land"
"But what about the fact that the princess might still be there?!" said another of his ogre "My lord, you said it yourself! You can't afford her to be out there even in exile for fear of resistance!"
"That may have been the words of yesterday, but this is today. Besides, we can crush them, no problem at all, so I can bear with that"
Both of them stood silent to the words of their lord, glancing at each other before then nodding.
...
"...After 2 days of waiting, we have now finally able to completely verify the information given by the so-called Princess of Beria, as we have received information from both the Geschnokean Dominion's Embassy in Barminde and the Home Guard as they had engaged a squad of armed reptile men apparently.
According to Geschnokean sources, the Kingdom of Beria is indeed to our North, and they are indeed a polar bearfolk-majority country. They have also confirmed stories of a supposedly mythical Demon Lord taking over the nation as a whole.
Moving on, we also have the Defense Forces shedding a light on a situation that happened in today's midnight. According to the spokesperson, the Territorial Recon Force had encountered an element of armed reptile men dressed in black, who were then almost wiped out by the TRF.
In case you're wondering, yes, you heard that right. This is real and not something from a conspiracy theory. Currently the MoD is in the process of extracting information from the surviving lizardman" - Arrangementer Globale Agevær
"Your highness!" shouted the captain Niillas "Your dresses have now been returned!"
Anklev, Gladahjuland In the Northern region of Anklev where the last member of the Berian Royal House resides, the captain carries a chest over to the princess.
"Ah, Niillas, you came" said the princess.
"With a chest of clothes you lended, indeed I did"
The captain then puts down the chest he carried with him upon entering the house.
"So all of them are in there?"
"Well, your highness... almost..."
"What do you mean almost?"
"When they were dealing with the assassin that wretched demon lord sent, the Flaši accidentally damaged one of them..."
Sive does not seem to be surprised by this.
"They did offer compensation though"
"Oh, how kind of them, about how much will be repaid?"
"That is what they still do not know. Speaking of which, I've been told by the Flaši to ask you for its value"
That give the wide-eyed look from the Berian princess. If she's getting this correctly, the 'Flaši' seems to be willing to pay up in full value.
"...I need to see the dress, I cannot give an answer right now unless I see it"
"If that is what you wish, then very well"
...
"Gentlemen, I hereby suggest we should directly intervene into Beria with the current situation going on"
Edesa, Geschnokea The National Assembly of the Geschnokean Dominion in the capital city Edesza has been called upon in an emergency with the main subject being the recent takeover of the Kingdom of Beria.
"I know it will be costly for us, but keeping the demons out have always been the utmost importance for the safeguard of the Civilized World"
"I object to this idea!" said another National Assembly member "I firmly believe that sending troops will only make things worse. We would lose a whole lot than just money, it would also be the resources and manpower wasted. We would be better solving it diplomatically"
"Diplomatically?" said the previous speaker "Really? If you know any better, you'd know that demons never negotiate, not under the command of the Demon Lord!"
Since the whole thing broke into Geschnokean news yesterday, the atmosphere inside the building have been particularly tense with arguments being made and countered.
"I've noticed that we've been mentioning this Demon Lord a lot. But I personally think that it's all hogwash, there's no such thing in reality and there's no evidence he DOES exist outside of myths"
"And what if he did? After all, anything could be possible! Like the fact both Geschnokea and Flashia are here despite belonging to a different world entirely! Though I do admit our country's transfer was considered nothing more than a legend at first until that kingdom and republic came around..."
"I- Uh..." the speaker could not say anything to refute that statement "...Ah, well I guess you're right... but that doesn't change our intervention would be too costly!"
"Then we could convince Flashia to also join us, simple as that"
"And how would they help us?" with a third member of the National Assembly joining in "For what we know, they have a sizable army and that's it, we don't know if Flashia is truly capable of taking back Beria! Our best chance is to get Verdecana on, and good luck persuading them to do so"
The speaker chuckled upon hearing those words.
"Oh, my friend, my fellow representative, that's where you're wrong"
"Prove it, prove how my statement is incorrect"
"...If you say so" the member then pulls out 3 pictures from his desk "Can someone take these to the magi-projector?"
...
A blonde man of Geschnokean nationality in Northern Tilenogtyve is seen wearing his attire of brown pants, white shirt, brown vest and hanging around a green field facing a facility belonging to the 'Luftforsvaret' with a camera on a tripod standing right beside him.
He had already been here for 3 days, and in those 3 days, he seen memorable moments and took pictures with things that have never been seen before, not even the other 'uncivilized' country can compare. He took so many pictures, he began to wonder why he hadn't got into trouble yet knowing that Flashia is very aware of the concept of cameras.
As he took a sip from his good ol' flask he brought with him, the Geschnokean man cycled around the things he saw that got stuck into his mind. The strange rotary-wing contraption that can take-off and land vertically, vehicles with a rather strange wheels on steel things along with various turret and cannons, you name it.
As he thought about them, a roaring sound reached his ears, prompting him to turn towards the source, the facility itself. On what looked like a long concrete road, he could see a white aircraft with reversed layout (delta wings and canards) to the conventional ones back in Verdecana with the back shooting out a big flame as its red roundel with a cross of some kind quickly dashed through from right to left in his eyes.
The man then hastily put the cap back onto his flask and rushed to his camera. He gets into position, aiming his camera at the white jet, preparing himself to shoot as it took the skies with the wheels slowly tucked into the belly.
"What a majestic bird..." he mumbled to himself.
SNAP
...
The projector screen in the Geschnokean National Assembly shows a picture with colors of a white fighter jet in flight with various armaments under its wings as a yellow flame was shot out directly from the back. It was only the first picture to be shown in the bunch, and yet the entire room was already in awe of what is shown.
"The design..." commented one of the session participants "...It's so sleek"
"How could Flashia possess such a thing?" said another.
The projector then switched to another picture, again in color (thank Flashia for that), showing what seems to be armored vehicles passing by with cannons mounted on really big turret for them.
"Is that a cannon I'm seeing?"
"I see it as well"
"Oh dear..."
After that, a massive fortress of a ship docked on a port with planes following a more conventional layout just with folded wings visible on the deck is shown.
"They have aircraft carrier too?!"
"It's only single deck, but still very impressive..."
The projector then turns off, the light in the room would turn on again.
"These are only a few in the collection of a photographer that went to Flashia to take the pictures" the representative from before would continue his speech "But as you can see from only those images, Flashia has the military capability roughly equal that of our good friend in Verdecana. Coupled with their geographic location, I think it's only wise that we get the Fediral Republic to join our future intervention"
(And yes, they still can't figure out the Federal part)
The National Assembly stood silent, even the other 2 could not say anything. Many would nod in agreement with only a few are still not so sure about this.
"...Well, uh..." spoke the Prime Minister who overwatched the session "I must say, that is a very impressive argument from Mr. Hesa (HEH-sa). If no one has any further inquiries or argument, then we shall carry on with the voting"
...
"I do not understand..."
In Northern Gladahjuland where the exiled Royal Armed Forces of Beria temporarily put their HQ in, a few officers found themselves in a little trouble in acquiring arms for their troops.
"This ain't Beria where you can operate however you want" said the guy behind the counter of a gun shop "This is Flashia (Flaši), and by being here, you have to follow the rules here, and that means you would need a license and a permit from the government"
"So that means we need to be allowed to buy and possess guns by your government?"
"Eh... you can say that, yeah"
"Oh... I understand..."
The 3 officers then turned around with disappointment running down their face.
"Oh and one more thing" said the behind the counter man "Convert your gold to kroner when you get to the bank, then we talk"
The officer nodded before continuing his way out the shop with his other 2. When they meet face-to-face to the average British weather- cough gloomy skies of the Gladahjulish outdoors, the lead officer sighed.
"Well, I suppose we must consult the Flaši military about this" he said as he turned towards the two "After all, we're in their country like what that man just said"
The 2 accompanying men of the Berian military in exile nodded, before then the three went off to somewhere else.
...
"For the first time since the establishment of diplomatic relationship, the Geschnokean Dominion and the Federal Republic of Flashia will join forces together to deploy in Flash regions of Tilenogtyve up to the North.
This comes as the coup d'etat of the government of the Kingdom of Beria had unfolded with demons having taken over the island country. According to a spokesperson, it is Geschnokea's utmost important obligation to defend the Civilized World in case of an invasion from the army of demons as the military prepares to set sail to the fellow human country of Flashia.
For this deployment, the Dominion National Forces has decided to send over 15 warships, including an aircraft carrier, 4 battleships, 4 cruisers and 6 destroyers along with around 50,000 troops. There are concerns regarding whether Flashia can house such a force, but the Ministry of War had reassured to the public that they can as they possess previously unknown capabilities" - Dominion Radio Channel
Einskirka, Esterria, 4/10/1702 "Am I hearing this correctly?" said a rather confused queen "Geschnokea has decided to send troops to assist Flashia in defending their Northern regions?"
"According to some of my news sources, yes" said Gessel "They are still in the process of loading troops and supplies for the deployment though..."
"I see... does La Ferdina know about this in any way?"
"I have checked with our Naeslagt friends, and found it is not the case as far as we know"
"Very well then, what about our modernization effort in the Royal Army? How has it progressed so far?"
"More than half of our Royal Army troops are now equipped with at least what is known as '1960s equipment', your majesty. We still do not have Flashia's approval for fighter jets though"
"...Oh well, I suppose we will have to wait a little longer"
"Indeed..."
...
Barminde, Tilenogtyve, Flashia, 4/10/2017 "You sure this is a good idea Dam?" said Simon, the figurehead for Flashia as a whole as its president "With inviting Geschnokean troops here?"
"I can assure you sir, is that it will be perfectly fine" said Anton, the Flash Minister of Defense.
"And what if it doesn't?"
"...Well that's on me"
The president sighed.
"Dam, you know quite well that Flashia doesn't have that great of a history regarding foreign troops stationed in our territory right?"
"I'm aware, but didn't we had various foreign armies coming in often for Exercise Horizon before this year? Didn't Esterrian troops also trained here as well? That's why I think it'll be good this time around so long as both of us have a collective goal"
The president could not refute that statement.
"...You got me there... but still, wouldn't this be an unpopular move? Since Geschnokea isn't on the same level as what Esterria is in terms of relations"
"Aw don't worry about it, Mr. President, I'm sure it will be fine, just give it a bit"
"Right... give it a bit..."
As he spoke those words of uncertainty, Simon's mind would drift into something else. A certain that happened in the past, a certain violent Blue Tape Revolution in 2010 Newberslawnia where officials working under the then dictator allegedly told him 'to give it some more time' when the government was under scrutiny.
A cold sweat subtly poured down his head, as despite knowing something like that unlikely to happen, the president still fears the possibilities. After all, the last thing Flashia wants in this trying time is instability and another collapse.
...
Garaz, near the border with La Ferdina, Reslania An artillery crew can be chilling in their firebase right beside their 105mm howitzer.
"You heard the news back in Flashia?" said a crewman smoking a cigarette.
"What?"
"Geschnokea is sending troops over to help out their Defense Forces"
"Why?"
The personnel takes the fag (no not that fag) out from his lips "It's in response to that Demonic State up to the North"
"Wait wait, Demonic State?"
"Yes?"
"Like a demon country?"
"Yes"
The crew was silent for a bit with the expression of surprise before the "Huh, interesting..." was muttered. The whole thing would fall into a quietness again.
"Why would that KU superpower be helping a republic again? Knowing their anti-republic sentiment?"
"Well I mean, it's Geschnokea, they pretty much will be friend as long as you don't touch their citizens"
"Fair enough... so tell me, how does it effect us?"
"There's going to be less Flash troops in the country from now on until they can get thing sorted back home" the cigarette drops down into the ground upon being let go, then extinguished by the foot "That means we probably have less to defend the land"
"To be fair, we're already strong from the start. The RPF did proceed to absolutely crush the Ferdies and the Variks after all"
"I know, I'm just more concerned about whether they can supply us with more of something to fight with"
"Oh you silly lad, of course they will, how would we have this gun today?"
Right after that was said, a cannon next to them fired a round, causing both to flinch to the loud bang.
"...Or how would we be able to get a hold of ammunition for it"
"I'll be damned... looks like some Ferdies had pissed our guys off"
"I can't believe the timing between me saying that and them firing though"

Geschnokea The ports of the coastal cities of the Dominion are having a special occasion today. It's the day that troops of the Dominion National Forces will be sent off to Flashia with transport ships preparing to set sail.
"Safe trips boys!"
"I'll be seeing you soon!"
Those and similar words are from the crowds that gathered for the young men hanging out on the railings of the ships. They waved hands with some flags, yelling out:
"Wish us luck!"
"Love you!"
"I will return!"
And all the things that you could probably imagine that the Geschnokean soldiers were saying to the ones wishing them luck.
(I'm going to regret that statement later am I?)
The ship then really slowly move along, the cheering still continues. As far as everyone here knows, these soldiers of Geschnokea will be killing some demons and defend the world from grave danger.
"We're going to slay some demons!"

"Tensions have been brewing in the Northern parts of Flashia, as far as anyone could tell. Troops have continued to be mobilized and built up in response to the relevations regarding the lizardmen confirming the existence of Beria as a whole and the existence of a Demonic State that recently took over the entire country.
What's more, Geschnokean troops have been invited to join in the operation, a move that had came under criticism, with some experts saying the Forsvaret is better off getting Northern Pact member states to join in the fray. Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the MoD has stated that the Northern Pact is still under threat from an invasion from KUG and it's important that as much troops should be in Gestrae to deter and defend against them" - FCNN
"Whoa, wait wait wait" said a Defense Forces personnel (of North Ládean origin) "You want guns and all those stuff for your exiled army?"
"Well, yes..." said the officer of Berian origin.
The three officers from before did not have any luck getting some weapons and ammo for their soldiers as, stupidly as it sounds, they'd need some permits and licensing as well a currency called 'Kroner' to get even one of them. And so, they decided to consult with a soldier that they found hanging around along with some others in front of a 'Chrukula'*
"...We do not mind if we have to do something to get them, as long we can fulfill our goal of taking back our beloved country. We do not know what we should do next though, so we decided to ask you"
The Flash soldier is visibly confused about this.
"Man, I don't know shit either, I'm just a conscript after all" the Berian officers seemed a bit disappointed this time around "But there's words that the Defense Ministry is considering reactivating the Foreign Battalions, so there's something to look for"
The Foreign Battalions refers to separate unit of battalions (duh) consisting of foreigners as a majority. It was one of the ways that one could get a citizenship by serving 5 years in the ranks. As the foreigners disappeared from Flashia in the transfer though, so did the Foreign Battalions which got dissolved along with them.
However, now, the Federal Republic has been looking into bringing them back, and that is a subject of intrigue for these officers.
"The Foreign Battalions?" questioned the Berian officer "As in we can be part of the Flaši Army?"
"Well, maybe. I dunno, I've heard they're doing something different this time around"
"That is still good enough for us"
Then a voice called out with the soldier talking to them turning around.
"Well, I'm going now, I'll probably see you later"
"In that case, thank you very much for your help"
"Aye, no problem"
The Flash soldier walked away along with the others, the officers would then also walked off having been satisfied with the answer they got.

Svarher Island, Flashia In the middle of the night, the northern part of the already cold island, a vehicle with the chassis of Flash MBT along with a big turret stays vigilant as to what can appear out of nowhere.
With the radar spinning, the commander stared into his screen while his 2 subordinates relaxed for the time being. As they chilled for quite a while though, the commander's screen had something to say.
"Oi gunner, wake up"
"Wha?"
The gunner had been napping up until this point, for 10 minutes at least until his short slumber was interrupted.
"We got air contacts, lizards"
"Lizards?"
"Yeah, still sleepy huh?"
"Give me a fuckin' break man..."
The gunner sits up, his head still fuzzy before slowly bringing his eyes up to the sight.
"You see them?"
"...Yeah I see them"
With the thermals turned on and the turret tracking them, the gunner would be met with the sight of about 30 wyverns. He could barely make out its rider, who seem to resemble more like goblins than any other humans or hybrids (as they call the demi-humans with animal features here)
"What do you think they could be?" said the commander.
"Where do they come from?"
"North-East"
"That's where that Demonic State is..."
"Yep"
"So fire?"
"Go ahead, it's not like Command would mind"
The 2o wyverns are normally such a intimidating sight, no resident of this magical world in the right mind would try to engage them, at least not alone. But the thing is... these crews have not one, but 2 fuck off cannons.
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG
Tracers flew up into the skies after the flash of yellow light lit up their surrounding. As the turret continues to track those wyverns, they would find their marks, turning many if them into red mist.
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG
As far as anyone could tell, if they could see it that is, the wyvern formation quickly fell into a disarray, scrambling to get away from the fires as much as they can.
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG
Much of that effort was in vain, as they continued to get swatted out of the skies with frightening speed.
"Now that's what I signed up for!" the gunner now fully waken up with the excitement going on.
