Somewhere in the middle of the ocean, 4/10/1702 After the dust from the day the ships set sail to Flashia has settled, the soldiers inside had a mixed bag of emotion. On one hand, many are excited that they're going to kill the 'barbarian demons', some are filled with uncertainty, while the rest are just saddened that they have to go far, far away from their beloved homes.
"I wanted to banish those demons to hell..." said a soldier chilling at the railing of the ship "...But at the same time, I don't want to end my life in Flashia"
"Oh, don't you worry!" said another right beside him "As long as you know what you're doing, you'd survive, and if you don't, then at least you will be remembered as one of the warriors that defended the world from grave danger!"
"You say that like it's a good thing at all, but I still have my family back home..."
"I know what you're feeling right now, but it's for the best"
"Maybe you're right..."
...
Western Beria, Demonic State As night has again came to this land, the Demon Lord Wyvern Corps prepares its 20 wyverns in its inventory to take off at a haphazardly built airbase. This large formation is to scout out some more land for the Demonic State and if possible, cause terror to the local population living there.
"For the Demon Lord, we shall fight!" said the goblin leading his other riders. I should mention these bunch are smarter than their regular counterparts "We will destroy our enemies and conquer their land!"
The wyverns would start to take off, one-by-one, with the reptiles picking up speed as they repeatedly flapped their wings before they slowly gained attitude. Eventually, all the (smarter) goblins are now flying along with the clouds as they now head South-West.
...
Cathythus, Verdecana "So they went on without us?" said Yannis as he had received another news regarding their Geschnokean ally "And they're working with Flashia instead?"
"It appears so..."
The news of Geschnokea deciding to eventually intervene into Beria alongside Flashia had finally into the minds of the Imperium's citizens. This time around, they're going without the world superpower (Verdecana) which... surprised absolutely no one. The Marshal sighed.
"...Of course they did, they seem quite insistent on Beria after all..."
There were many speculations and doubts even amongst the higher-ups of the military, discussing whether them going along with Flashia with a good idea or not.
"...So what do you think about all of this sir?"
There also exists some that are just intrigued about how it could end up, some leaning towards an optimistic view about them.
"Oh, I think Flashia would be able to handle them quite well in fact"
Yannis is certainly one of them.
"After all, if Flashia could defeat the 7-nation-army of the KUGNE with relative ease, then I see no reason to think otherwise"
"...I-I see then"
"That's just me saying so though, I have no idea what the future holds for us. And because of that, I think it's the best interest for us to wait and see how things would go"
The staff nodded in agreement.
"Wise words, Marshal Matrakratos"
...
20 minutes into their flight, and they have so far found nothing except for water and to lesser extent ice. The goblins riding the 20 wyverns are only 20 minutes in their mission and yet most of them are already bored to death.
"I did not pledge my allegiance to the Demon Lord to not be able to do anything at all..."
These goblins are rather impatient on their own, and it's a rather known fact even in the Demonic State leadership. Believe me when I say that they did not want to send them to such a long-range mission, but they're the only ones that were ready to fly so really they didn't have a choice to begin with.
The leader looks down under his stead while his hand held up his head. And that's when he sees snow, trees, and artificial light ahead of him. A moment of glee went into his face.
"Finally, we arrived at land!"
The lead rider then turned to the co-leader flying close to him to his left.
"We arrived at land!" he shouted "We shall wreak havoc on these pathetic sub-species!"
(Manacomms is non-existent in the Demon Lord's Army)
It's a tad bit difficult to tell, but the co-leader smiled in malice. It's safe to say that both of them, and nearby riders already know what to do next.
If only they did have a chance to do so...
The co-leader alongside few others was suddenly turned into red mists as projectiles of light went through the formation, scaring the absolute crap out of the surviving ones.
"What in the Demon Lord's name-"
The leader would also meet the same fate of being swatted out of the skies as the numbers are quickly being chopped down.
...
Svarher, Flashia, 4/10/2017
The surrounding area of this SPAAG repeatedly lit up in flashes of yellow as with each bangs it makes, bullets less than half the diameter of a beer bottle flies upward to slam themselves directly into the bodies of the flying reptiles.
"What a hot skies it is"
"Since the fuck when was Svarher hot?"
As the turret keep rotating with the radar continuing to keep track of the dispersing wyverns, the 'Marksman' periodically fired in bursts.
"I'm loving this guy now"
"Brought to you by the land of tactical horse"
"I'm sorry what?"
"I'm serious, I saw a commercial where they showed a literal camouflaged horse"
Eventually it was down to only 3 wyverns that are still flying to this time.
"Isn't that company in Pokksors?"
"Savotta I believe, I kinda want one of their stoves not gonna lie"
"Hey I think we're not done here yet"
"Oh shi-"
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG
That sound would mark the end of the last wyverns as they lifelessly rained down upon the snowy land of Svarher in chunks of blood and flesh. As far as the commander can tell, there is no one else coming.
"That oughta do it for that Demonic State!"
"...Now where was I again?"
...
5/10/2017 "The 304th Brigade had just reported a skirmish between our forces and the wyvern corps coming in from the North-East" said one of the commanders "...Well not really a skirmish, in all honesty it was one-sided"
In the next morning, the report of a short-lived combat engagement reached the Forsvaret Central Command HQ back in Animaatland.
"A Mobil Luftforsvarkøretøj 'Marksman' was reportedly directly involved in North-Eastern Svarher where it took place, firing its main armament at the 20 wyvern contacts. All of them were shot down in a matter of a minute without command's approval, however due to the situation at hand being that they already penetrated the 'shoot down' layer, no disciplinary action was taken.
The wyverns were reported to be coming from North-East, matching geographical description to Beria, post-engagement investigation revealed the riders to be goblins who according to our Geschnokean sources are a part of a demon species.
In response, reserves in nearby areas are to be called back to active duty, participate in refresher exercises. Alert level maintained at Beta"
...
"...Yesterday, a rather one-sided engagement occurred in the skies above the island of Svarher between a lone anti-air tank of the Land Army and 20 wyverns of unknown origin coming from the North-East.
According to a spokesperson from the Defense Forces, the large group of wyverns had violated the Flash airspace last night, and coincidentally it was where a Pansret Luftforsvar had been sitting idle nearby. It had detected the wyverns formations with its radar, at which point they began to track the formation.
And because they had already penetrated the airspace to the point of being shot down regardless of intention, the tank opened fire on the intruding wyverns and within a minute, all of the 20 wyverns were downed with no survivor.
Investigation after the incident revealed the riders to be that of goblins, confirmed to be a real thing and is a sub-species of demons according to Geschnokea. However, they have also said that goblins riding wyverns are very unusual, as they're typically dumber and more savage" - Silver Eagle 24/7
The radio was then turned off as the patrol car continued their path on the roads of Zarabiaćskonać in Kawagrzmotia.
"Feels like we're living in some kind of conspiracy isn't that right?" said the driver of the car.
"Sure is" said Antoniak "Still kind of crazy even after months"
The driver nodded as he then turned right at an intersection.
"I hate to be that guy but... do you think the government is behind this in a way?"
"Nah"
"Why not?"
"Because it works"
"Ah..."
Especially in Kawagrzmotia, the government back in Barminde is known to cheap out a lot of things. That is not to say that Flashia's infrastructure is of low-quality though, it's just that the idea of the authority being able to orchestrate this alone is absurd in of itself.
"So you're suggesting something else made us end up here?"
"Yep"
"Then what would it be?"
"The hell I know"
...
Northern Gladahjuland The Foreign Battalions, for the first time since the transfer, had now been reactivated. This time around, it's a little different as it receives their first recruits, majority are Berian bearfolks along with some Esterrians while being staffed by Flash personnel. Most of them have served in their respective country's military with some (in particular, Esterrians) being veterans of the Havenklein War.
All of them would stand shoulder-to-shoulder outside a military base after getting off the bus, facing the drill sergeant of Southern Flashia origin as he paced side-to-side to their perspective.
"First things first..." said the drill instructor "Pay attention! And if you don't, then I'm sure that you will get whooped in the butt and in turn make your career here end short. Did I make myself clear?!"
"SIR, YES SIR!" shouted the recruits in unison.
(note: as per regulations, Foreign Battalions recruits must be able to speak Builtish/English fluently)
"Another thing is that you must treat everyone with dignity and respect regardless of ethnicities, national origin, and background. I don't give a damn if you're a privileged nobles back in Beria or Esterria, I don't give a damn if you're an ethnic minority! All I see is soldiers of the Flash Foreign Battalions, is that clear?!"
"SIR, YES SIR!"
"Now as for sexual assault, as in any unwanted physical contact of sexual nature will get you kicked out of this Battalion for good and you'd probably have to deal with the law. Nobody wants that at all, yes?"
"SIR, YES SIR!"
"...Now with the code of conducts out of the way" the drill sergeant then stops at the center, now fully facing the recruits "Let's move onto the next thing in line, ATTENTION!"
The Esterrians who mostly had been familiar with how Flashia do things almost instantaneously straightened their legs, their fists close and the feet kept at an angle. The Berians on the other hand were caught off-guard at first but then they'd catch up in a short time.
"When I shout out 'Attention', you stand at attention with your legs and arms straight, close those fists of yours and your feet forming the shape of a V"
Hearing the last part, the Berians looked down on themselves and adjusted accordingly.
"At ease!"
Again it was the Esterrians that followed through first while the Berians had to try and replicate them with the relaxed left leg and arms held behind their back.
"When you hear that, you relax, but not that kind of relax. Give your left leg a break while right maintains a straight profile. In addition, put both of your hands behind your back. That's the 2 basic commands you gotta know for now, we'll get you through the others later, now move along!"
The recruits would then make their way into the base along with the drill instructors and the other Flash personnel now with the really basic things out of the way so that they could move onto the next steps toward becoming members of the Foreign Battalions.
...
Hošče, Demonic State Again for the second time since their establishment, the Demonic State has received another bad news. First it was the assassin that has gone missing, and now it's 20 wyverns that also disappeared overnight.
"Who could have done this...?" the Lord muttered to himself "Who could have done such a feat?"
The ogres that stand before him was trembling as the failure that led up to this brought nothing but fear to them.
"My lord, y-you have to understand! We don't have control of the situation a-and we didn't know what they-"
"SILENCE!"
The demon lord slammed his fist, breaking the entire right portion of the throne he was sitting on.
"...Great"
The Lord sighed as he stared at what he had just broke while everybody else is just standing there quietly.
"Verkog, come over here..."
The ogre with name called up reluctantly and slowly approaches his superior.
"...Listen here Verkog, you shall mobilize an invasion fleet that will be bound to South-West. Whoever did that, they will pay the price, do you understand?"
Verkog nervously nodded.
"As for others..." as the Demon Lord then turned to others "...Does anyone happen to know someone who might be able to fix this?" pointing at the throne.
...
Einskirka, Esterria, 6/10/1702 || 6/10/2017 Now you might have noticed that there's two dates on here, well that's because as of today, the Commonwealth has officially adopted the 'Initium Dierum' Calendar, basically what Flashia (and their original world) uses alongside the Central Civilization Calendar, the one with the year 1702. But that is not important for the time being.
"Your majesty, you sure you want Esterrian troops into Flashia?" said Gessel, the Minister.
"I'm sure" said Marie III, the young queen.
"But your majesty... are you forgetting what our biggest threat is? For what we know, those at the Kingdoms Union could one day just decide to cross our borders!"
"I know, I just have one gripe with something lately..."
"...What is it then?"
"...Do you remember the Havenklein War? The period before Flashia suddenly came along?"
"The war we had been losing up until that point" Gessel's eyebrow was raised up a bit "I sure do remember, why?"
"Well, I had a realization that if Flashia did not gave us those 'Right Arms of the Free World', we probably would have lost Havenklein by now, and we certainly would not be able to achieve such prosperity had it not been that republic's transfer. That's why I feel like something should be repaid for them spending the resources into helping our struggling Commonwealth"
The minister nodded in acknowledgement.
"That I won't argue against. But are you really, and I meant REALLY sure that it would be a good idea?"
"If I am going to be honest, I rather have mor of my soldiers know how to fight in such cold condition than having the equipment but no real experience"
"...Speaking of which, it seems to me our Naeslagt friends are also sending their best to the North for that reason"
"Oh really?" the queen's expression turns that to a slight hint of surprise, to which Gessel nodded.
"Oh, and another thing, Flashia still says no"
"For the fighter jets?"
"For the fighter jets"
"My guess is correct then... I am not surprised at all actually..."
...
Last night created a ruckus in the island of Svarher. With the threat clearly on the horizon, those living here saw no better way than just prepare. And that's exactly what the Defense Forces been doing.
Somewhere in the Eastern Coast "It's been 10 years since I got out, I dunno if I'm going to make the cut for this one"
Reservists from across the island have been called upon to report to the recruiting offices before they were off to get their stuff in a facility somewhere else. They all have done their 1 year in the Army, some were also Home Guard before back to being Land Army.
"Don't worry about it too much man, you'd probably re-learn quickly enough"
"Really?"
"Speaking from experience, yeah"
They would get their uniform, their service rifle and some other necessary equipment for the call. I should note that so far, the Flash Defense Forces are alone in this island of Svarher. None of the Geschnokean are here just yet, and the Esterrians are just getting started to load up.
"So when was your last call up?"
"A year ago, I was out for 7 years back then. I didn't think I would re-learn the skills so fast"
...
While their Flash counterparts are in the process of mobilizing their forces in Svarher, the Esterrian started to load up their cargo onto ships leased by various Flash companies. The reason why they're doing this is that so far, they have no ships in the Royal Navy inventory that can even carry an Ijzerwagen.
"Do we really have to go on ships?" said an armored vehicle crewman as he slowly reverses the vehicle into their ferry "Why don't we go on Flash cargo planes for example?"
"Last time I checked" spoke the commander before his vehicle grinds to a halt inside "They were at capacity moving their own around"
"Really? I thought they can do anything"
The commander sighed to the driver's word.
"Everyone and everything has a limit, PFC, even a high-ranking officer from Flashia says that?"
"How come you know?"
"I talked to one"
One by one, the Ijzerwagen platoon gets loaded alongside the infantry soldiers with their equipment. What they're wearing now is no different than what they had back in the days of Reslanian War, just with less mixing this time around plus issuing of protective vests. Not the one with protection against 7.62x39mm or something like that, but just good enough for this world.
"Hey what is that on his rifle?"
"That tube... thing?"
"Yeah, what's that?"
"Probably a scope or something..."
And also a few lucky ones with scopes. The Esterrian Royal Army is sticking with the 3x20 for this one as they're now experimenting with some long range capability based on feedbacks from post-Reslania War insurgencies and subsequent clashes. They aren't the best as Flash do have F79 series, ACOG which served as a stopgap and the Falcon Specter as standard, but it's one they can do with for now.
...
"Takk for at du flyr med Luftforsvaret flyselskap. Nå, kom deg til helvete av flyet mitt!"
[Translation: Thank you for flying with the Flash Air Force airlines. Now, get the fuck off my plane!]
Troops of the Royal Naeslagtlandic Army have finally landed in Flashia. They don't know where exactly, but it's definitely somewhere in Svarher judging by the extremely cold night here. And because the fact that the island often becomes ice-land is widely known even back in Gestrae, they came prepared.
"By the gods it's worse than I thought!"
"Well, it's the North after all"
They're wearing the thick green uniform they recently received, all of them are surplus from the Esterrian Royal Army, under the white cover from set of winter kits that Flashia provided alongside some rucksacks on their back. Now, in the middle of the cold, with the sound of the C-130s still running their engine, they would walk to the white buses parked nearby.
Without any hesitation, when the first soldier got there, he quickly jumped into the bus.
"Beautiful night isn't it?" said the driver of the bus to the first that hopped on.
"'Beautiful' indeed good sir" sarcastically replied the soldier "...say, what time and what day is it if I might ask?"
"Well it's midnight of the 7th day of the 10th month, 2017"
"Wait did we jump centuries ahead?"
"Nah that's just us using a different calendar, yours still 1702 I believe"
"Ah..."
"Hey what's the delay?!"
The soldier would then be pushed as his comrades would also rush into the bus.
"Well, see you later I guess..."
...
Demonic State, 7/10/1702 In the middle of the night, aside from the usual repression of the Berians living here, something malicious is brewing at every harbor in former Beria. They used to be a hub for merchants that come and go every now and then. But now, it has been repurposed for the Demon Lord Naval Army.
Consisting of warships both captured from the Royal Berian Navy and built from the ground up, they have been responsible for anything water-related on behalf of the larger DLA. They played a pivotal role in the offensive, and now they're preparing for a little revenge.
The ogre responsible for this build up would enter the vicinity of the harbor in Hošče, where a lizardman was standing there.
"Sir Verkog" said the lizard, acknowledging the ogre's presence.
"How are we so far?" asked Verkog "In the build up of our fleet I mean"
"Well, so far so good, we're expecting to set sail to the South-West soon in..." the lizardman checked his handclock which was looted off some noble officer "...3 days at least"
"Very well"
Verkog then looked upon the ships docked here, with the dumb goblins running around while lizards do the actual work.
"...Sir Verkog, I'm sorry to be rude here but... are you sure we must do this? Are you sure we must get around a half of our forces there?"
The ogre sighed.
"It's what our lord wants after all. Besides, we have the power to go with, it's not like we're easily defeatable"
The lizardman quietly nodded as he too turned his eyes towards the ship.
"...And perhaps, may what happens next be a lesson why those wyvern riders be killed as we will subjugate our enemies..."
Said the ogre in the most uncertain face possible with a hint of realization of what he didn't earlier.
...
Greater Jefermai, La Ferdina "Your majesty" said a high-ranking noble in the military as he faces the empress herself on her throne "I have came with updates given by the Imperial Intelligence Corps"
"Very well" said Reine Bethune, the empress "Would you care to tell us what you have so far?"
"Well, your majesty, we have received information about foreign troops coming to Flashia. According to our sources, it has to do with some sort of state run by demons"
"Demons? I thought it's nothing more than just legend?"
"Apparently it's real according to our intelligence"
"I see... carry on"
"Esterria has sent a battalion of their best equipped troops, Naeslagtland with a company and another army with about a division, numbering around 20,000"
"20,000? Hah, let me guess, it's those separatist at Enmars weakening themselves"
"No... it's not them, it's another one"
"Then who?"
"...G-Geschnokea..."
The noble would then get a feeling of the atmosphere suddenly shifting in a bad way with the Empress displaying an expression of not being so happy.
"...Is this true?"
"Y-Y-Yes, we have confirmed this to be the case"
Again the throne room fell silent for awhile.
"Summon their ambassador"
"What-?"
"I said summon the Geschnokean ambassador right this instant, I want to know what's the meaning of this"
...
"Left! Right! Left! Right! Left! Right!..."
In the morning hours later, the first Geschnokean troops finally arrives in a port in Animaatland, more specifically the Southern part as they now march in columns while bystanders took keen interest.
Why South of all places when the threat is up there to the North? Well truth be told, most of them aren't really prepared to fight in the cold, and command thought the South would be the best place to get warmed up.
"Even in the South, it's still a bit cold here" said a soldier while he took step by step with his rifle at slope arms.
"I admit that too" said another next to him "And yet that man over there is wearing shorts!"
Even back at the ship when they first arrived, the Geschnokeans were in for a hell of a shock. The clothing of the people were so diverse and different, the port and ships resembled something more in line of the future, more specifically a few decades ahead.
"...Hey you think that they defeated the KUGNE because they're just so advanced?"
"Don't be fooled, even though they're quite advanced, the battalions against an entire army is just propaganda"
"What about this port?"
"That's only for looks"
"What if it wasn't?"
The soldier marched silent.
"See? They're so advanced after all"
"Oh we'll see who's in the right"
...
"According to my sources, 20 thousand troops of the Geschnokean troops had set sail to Flashia" said the Empress as she and the Geschnokean ambassador to La Ferdina "Is this true?"
"We have checked with our mainland and I can confirm that we did send our troops to-"
"I say that is an egregious action on your behalf!" the empress cuts off the ambassador "Sir Mark..."
"My surname is Haszlo..." alluding to the fact that Geschnokean names are written in the reverse order.
"Ah, who even cares?! Are you even aware that you're cooperating with a barbarian republic?"
"Republic? Yes, we are working with one" said Mark as a response "But a barbarian? Far from that actually, as our counterpart up there has seen so many things that are just advanced beyond comprehension"
"Nonsense! They're nothing more than just an uncivilized country with nothing to offer!"
"Only for you that is... plus this is just temporary, we're not forging an alliance or anything like that, it's just that it's the demons that both of us are dealing with"
After he said that, the Geschnokean then thought to himself:
'Oh why do I have to deal with such a monarch?'
...
Since the inception of the Northern Pact, Naeslagt troops have been trained in some winter-esque warfare back in Tilenogtyve. Now they're testing what they have learned so far while also upgrading that to artic warfare (not the one made by three lads in a shed).
BANG BANG
"MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!"
In the afternoon of the day, after their rest is over, the Royal Naeslagtlandic Army contingent has now jumped into a joint exercise with the local forces. This contingent is unique, not only in their uniform but also the weapons they use.
It was the hero that saved Esterria in the Havenklein War, a war that the Commonwealth struggled in until these battle rifles came into their hands. RM58/70 is their name, they worked with Flashia, then Esterria and now the Naeslagts with a key difference being that the charging handle folds, similar to that of another variant of the rifle it was derived from.
"Changing mags, give me some cover here!"
The charging handle was a response for a request from the Naeslagt Ministry of War, whose name is rather uncomfortable for the Flash, that the rifles should not snag onto things as much as possible.
"Come on, hurry up..." muttered the soldier as he took a new mag, rock it into the rifle, unfolds the charging handle before pulling it to the rear, then slapping the handle back to its original position after it was slammed forward by the bolt "READY!"
The Naeslagts continued to shoot their rifles in semi-auto while they advance against the Flash Defense Force side of roughly the same size with armored vehicles leased from the Home Guard.
Yes, they really did have to borrow some vehicles from the Svarheran local troops as they couldn't get their carriages up to this island.
"I can't see anyone here, they blend in too well-"
"MG AT THE FLANK!"
A Naeslagt fireteam hit the deck before soon afterward, the distinct sound of the Flash MG firing was heard. One fell as he didn't make it in time as the kit he's wearing registers hits from the MG.
"WE GOT A MAN DOWN! SOMEBODY HELP!"
"We got your back!"
One of the Naeslagtlandic vehicles would pull up, rotating its turret in such a way that it would point its gun towards the opposing MG and fired off its coaxial weapon. It should be noted that while they stuck some insignia of their army on there, they still retains the angled square that resembles a simplified flag of Flashia.
With its origin coming from Newberslawnia from the time that the country had to offload some of its armored vehicles inventory, the original variant came in 300, with an additional 200 as aid packages from also a few countries back in the Reunification Wars.
Most of them have been withdrawn from active service, with only 120 of them standing but not without some upgrades from Animaatland.
(Ngl this is probably my favorite BMP variant)
"It's hard to see here but I think I got them!" said the armored vehicle crew over the radio as while their guns go loud, the other fall silent.
"Good! Drag that guy out of there, and others, onward!"
A few stayed behind then dragged downed soldier to safety while the rest charged forward with their spread out formation of armored fighting vehicle.
"Let's just hope we don't run into an anti-tank unit as they call it"
Almost instantly after that was said, the equipment of the vehicle registered a hit from an AT weapon as a tube simulating that popped.
"Oh for the gods' sakes!"
...
"1-7, one armor down"
With the Naeslagts acting as their OPFOR, the local reserve Land Army forces of the Svarher State could get their refresher exercise go even more effectively.
"Relocating now"
While they're in their own defensive position wearing the snow version of their FLPAT, this company is facing the charge of their Naeslagt counterparts wearing solid white.
(Oh and fyi, as of today, the FLPAT is now the M05, part of the reasons why I started rewriting my stuff in the first chapters)
"Somebody get the MG back up again!"
"We got it, hang on tight!"
The MG team from earlier would set their GPMG back on its bipod attached to a ski and put to a snow in a slight defilade as the team went prone. And really it only took a pull of the trigger for the gun to go:
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP
And a second after would many OPFOR infantry fall down into the snow. The team fired in short bursts while the rifles would also join in, but it wouldn't take that much for them to see one of the vehicles still active turning its gun on them.
"Where the AT at? We're about to be fired on by a BMP here!"
"Give us a second damn it!"
"Shit, Þorgils get down!"
Both gunner and his assistant got their heads as low as possible before then, the Naeslagtlandic BMP opened fire on their position. They would lie down there to not get 'hit' for... about 15 seconds at least before their saving grace.
"Good hit on the BMP, y'all good now"
"Fuck me, took them a while"
After recovering from their ducking position, the team scanned the area where another of the opposing armored vehicles lay dead in a way the machine gun's stock is brought back to the gunner's shoulder and he then continuing periodically pulling the trigger with each resulting in more bodies dropping to the field.
"I kinda feel bad for them not gonna lie"
...
a slightly shorter than normal chapter with all the staging going on.
brb gotta go stick Kontakt-1 to a wyvern real quick
Patchnote (15/6/2024): Changed the designation for the Marksman. (21/6/2024): Changed conscription period.
