Seb

Marcus died that night, a very slow and painful death. I tore him apart piece by piece, right there in that basement. Daisy begged the entire time for me to let her go, that wasn't going to happen. Everyone who had a part in what happened to ari is at her mercy. If it was up to me she would have suffered the same fate as the men. I don't believe in violence against woman, but I will do anything in this world to protect my family.

Meadow has been moved into knights place for a week now. Her and stephan still hangout everyday, they ride to school together, and they are both happy. Probably the first they have ever been truly happy and I'm so honored to have had a part in that.

The amount of times knight has thanked me for bringing his daughter into his life is well over a hundred. I tell him the same thing everytime "it was fate." I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. There's a reason I was a homeless twelve year old, so I could be brought to the club to meet my soul mate. There's a reason she was taken, it gave us charlie. There's a reason stephan found his paperwork after he was beaten, it saved him and meadow, it brought them home where they belong.

It's been a month now since ari got her revenge, she nor prez has told me exactly what happened in that basement. The fact that it gave her closure is enough for me. She sees her therapist once a week now, she started college. My girl with everything she has witnessed and been through herself has decided she wants to be a social worker. She wants to help kids like the system failed to do for her, stephan, meadow, me, and so many others.

Ari is the best woman I know. She's my best friend, the love of my life, my twin flame. Sitting here watching her push our daughter on a swing in her dad's back yard makes my heart skip a beat. My beautiful girls own my heart.

"Hey seb," prez says taking a seat next to me on the back deck.

"Hey prez." I reply moving my eyes to him. I take a deep breath before speaking. "I want to ask her to marry me." I tell him.

"Are you asking my permission?" He raises an eyebrow at me.

I shake my head, "no, not really. I'm going to marry that girl no matter what, but I would like your blessing."

He's quiet for a moment examining me. "You have it son. Ari and charlie love you. I know you will make them happy and keep them safe. You're an amazing dad to my granddaughter, and a great partner to my little girl. There's no one else I'd rather have for a son-in-law."

I clear my throat of emotion before speaking. "Thank you, that means allot. They are my world, and I will spend the rest of my life trying to be good enough for them."

"I'm proud of you seb. You have come a long way from that little asshole kid I found in the alley."

"Thanks to you, prez. You are the closet thing I have ever had to a real father. I'll never be able to repay you for everything you did for me, and for trusting me with ari and charlie."

We're interrupted by my little girl, "daddy!" She yells throwing herself at me.

"Hi, princess, daddy missed you today. Did you have a good day with mommy and grandma?"

"Yes!" She beams at me. "My birthdays in three days daddy." She's says excitedly. The fact is we really don't know when Charlie's birthday is, so we gave her one.

"I know, my sweet girl. Did you get everything ready today?"

"Yeah, we went shopping."

"Where's grandpa's hugs princess?" Prez asks her holding his arms out for her when. She jumps off my lap to run to him. Ari stood infront of me with a small smile on her face.

I grab her hand and pull her down into my lap. "I missed you today too, my love," I tell her placing a kiss on her cheek.

"None of the." Prez says with a his nose wrinkled.

"Dad, we live together, we sleep in the same bed every night, we even have S-E-X. Sorry to break it to you, your little girl is all grown up. Don't worry though ellie will be old enough soon for you to be the dictator of her life." She laughs

It's been three weeks since the night ari asked me to make love to her. That night definitely made the top three list of my favorute memories. Since that night I can't keep my hands off of her.

I turn to see prez death glaring me over my daughters shoulder. "Sorry prez," I chuckle.

He rolls his eyes and turns his attention to charlie. "So princess, what did you decide on for the big day?"

"Princesses duhhh... grandpa?"

"Yeah?" He eyes her skeptically. I don't blame him with the way she is looking at him with her big dough eyes.

"Will you be a prince?"

"I'll hire you ten of them." He laughs.

"Fine," charlie shrugs.

" I think you just got played, babe. Ari told her we're not hiring characters." Peyton says with a small laugh as she walks outside.

Prez let's out a small chuckle and shakes his head at charlie who is trying her best to look innocent, she's not fooling anyone. That little girl knows she has us wrapped around her little finger.

a couple hours later when we get home we're greeted by stephan and meadow who are on the couch watching a movie. "Hey kids," ari says as we sit on the other couch with a sleeping charlie in my arms.

"Hey, how was dinner?" Stephan asks him and meadow decided they didn't want to join us tonight, they went bowling with a couple of friends from school instead.

"Good, how was yalls night?" I ask.

"It was good. We went shopping for Charlie's birthday presents too." Meadow smiles. Charlie has meadow under her spell too, it's actually impressive how fast she can do that to people.

"You guys know you didn't have to buy her anything." Ari speaks up.

"Of course we did, charlie is my niece. You both refuse to take the state checks and I'm working at the shop. I can take some money and spoil the princess."

"Yeah, and I have been babysitting. I wanted to get her something too."

"Thats very sweet of both of you." My girl tells them. "How are things going at parkers?" She turns her attention to meadow.

"Good, I'm happy I finally get a chance to know him. I'm happy he's not the man I told myself he was all these years. I convinced myself for a long time he was just a deadbeat who didn't want anything to do with me, and took off when he found out my mom was pregant. I wish she was here to tell me why." She says the last part sadly.

"There's nothing any of us can do about the past, but I'm happy that you are both right where you belong now, here with your family. I know how you feel though my mom lied to me about who my dad was, and turns out just like Parker he's a great man, and an even better father."

"Yeah," Meadow nods. "He's pretty great." She smiles. I never had a doubt that she would think that way, because it's true about all the men in this club. We might all be rough bikers the outside world sees as dangerous and scary, and we can be, but to our family.... we are just the men who love them, who will kill for them, who will die for them, and who will protect them no matter what the cost.

Later that night after meadow went home and ari is putting charlie to sleeping I'm sitting in the living room with stephan. "Are you happy?" I ask him.

"Yeah?" He says like a question.

"I just want to make sure you're happy here. If there's ever anything you want to talk about, you can let me know okay?"

He's quiet for a moment before he speaks. "There's actually something..."

"What's up?"

"Do you think you could teach me how to drive?" He asks before quickly adding, "I don't expect you to pay for my license or a car. I'll use the foster care money and the money I make at the shop."

"Yeah, I can teach you. The car thing though is a non-negotiable, ari and I already talked about it. We will be buying you your first car. Something safe and reliable. We won't have you buying a beater that's going to cost you more money and work in the long run."

He looks at me shocked. "You guys have already done so much for me."

"How many times am I going to have to tell you that you are family. All we expect out of you is to go to school and try to stay out of trouble. Neither ari or I got to walk across the stage, we're expecting to be in the stands when you do."

"Fair enough," he nods. I guve him a nod before standing but I hear him before I make it to the stairs. "Hey seb?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"I know where they are."

"Where who are?"

"Our parents..."
