Ari
Charlie and I spent the day at the park while seb and stephan went to meet with their parents. I hope they both get the answers they are looking for. Even though seb claims he doesn't want any, I know better. If his words were true he would have sent one of the other guys with stephan.
When I pull into our driveway seb is sitting on the swing, on our porch. When he looks up and sees us he's on his feet moving to the car. He opens my door first pulling me into his arms. "I love you so much, baby. Thank you for being an amazing mother to charlie and an amazing partner to me." He kisses the top of my head.
I pull back to look up into his eyes. "I love you too, sebby. Thank you for being our prince." I smile at him. We stand there for a moment. I don't know what happened today, but I think it's safe to say he found some clarity.
"Daddy, my turn!" Charlie yells impatiently from the car.
He let's out a small laugh before releasing me and getting Charlie out of the car. "I love you princess, thank you for being the best daughter a daddy could ever ask for."
"I love you too daddy. You're the best daddy that ever lived."
"I really try, princess."
"I know," she nods. "Where uncle stephan?"
"He's with meadow at the movies."
"They didn't take me?" She gasps in pure shock.
"I'm sorry, I'm sure they will take you next time. They went to watch a big kid movie this time."
"Fine," she huff. I have a feeling she's going to be making her uncle grovel for his decision today. I understood it though. Today was a hard day for him and seb I'm sure.
"You okay?" I ask sebby as we walk into the house.
"I'm perfect, I have you, charlie, stephan, and the club. I have all the people in my life I love and I'm happy angel. I'm so fucking lucky."
"We're the lucky ones sebby," I tell him plopping myself on the couch. Charlie wore me out at the park. Kid energy is on a whole other level. Between being a mom, school, cooking, cleaning, and laundry I'm always so tired.
"How was your day? you look tired." Seb says sitting next to me. He places Charlie on the floor and she runs off to do her own thing.
"It was good. We went to the park and had a picnic. I'm just exhausted."
"I can see that. I'm happy you both had a good day."
"Do you want to talk about your day?"
He shrugs before speaking. " They are clean now. Have been for five years. They didn't look for either of us once they were clean. Justin tried claiming a grandpa spot when I slipped up about Charlie. I shut that shit down real quick."
"Why?" I ask wanting to know what's going through his head. Not that I disagree with his decision.
"They were never parents to me. Your dad was more of a dad to me than my own. I'm happy that they are clean now. That's great for them. I don't think I owe them forgiveness. I don't want charlie around people we can't trust, and I don't trust them. I think I needed today though. I got to show them what they missed out on, they didn't get to see thier kids grow up and they won't see their grandkids grow up either."
He sighs before continuing, "you know I'm a big believer in choosing my own family. I don't feel an obligation to them. I don't think that just because we share DNA and they are clean now that we can move on from the past and be a big happy family. I honestly don't know if I ever want to see them again. I got what I needed. Maybe it caused them more pain, but it's nothing compared to the pain they have caused me all of my life, feeling like I'm not good enough for this club, for you, for charlie."
"You don't owe them anything, my love. Listen to me though, you deserve everything. Every beautiful thing in this world you deserve sebby. I'm sorry that I haven't shown you that."
"It was nothing to do with you angel. You are perfection, I never thought I deserved. I know now that this is right where I supposed to be." He gives me a smile.
"You Sebastien Waverly are the most loyal, kind hearted, loving, sexiest man I have ever known."
"Thank you baby." He says leaning iver to press his lips against mine. "You're the most beautiful woman in the world. Will you go away with me this weekend?"
"Where?"
"Just away, I talked to your dad. The kids can stay at their house."
"Yeah, that sounds nice." I smile at him.
"Good I already packed our bags. We leave tomorrow morning."
The next morning we drop stephan and charlie off at peyton and dad's house.
"Want to tell me where we're going yet?" I ask him after an hour on the highway.
"Nope we're almost there." He turns his head to smile at me before facing the road again.
I gasp when we pull into a beach house. "Sebby?"
"Yeah, angel?"
"What is this?"
"Well, I rented us this house for the weekend."
"Why?"
"Because, I think we could both use a get away." He says putting his truck in park.
"I have never been away from charlie for a whole weekend before. Do you think she'll be okay?" I ask him there's a panic rising in my chest.
"She's with peyton and prez, angel. I can assure you she is fine. She's probably running around with ellie playing as we speak."
I nod my head, "Yeah you're probaly right."
"I'm definitely right. You know they love that little girl. They won't let anything happen to her or to stephan. We left them in the best hands possible."
Once sebby had calmed me down we make our way into the house. After we get settled we spend the rest of the day on the beach out back. "I'll be right back." Sebby says placing a kiss on my forhead. He walks back to the house leaving me sitting on a blanet Watching the sun start to set over the ocean.
"Stand up angel." He smiles at me when he returns. He holds a hand out for me and I take it without question getting to my feet. He doesn't let go of my hand as he starts speaking. "My beautiful girl. I was a mess without you. You are my calm, you are everything good in my life. You gave me the best gift in the world, you gave me charlie. I'm so greatful to be here with you after everything. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing family. You took my little brother in like he was your own. You're the best mother to our little girl. You are the bravest, most loyal, most beautiful woman I know."
He pauses getting down on one knee not releasing my hand, with his free one he holds up a ring. "Aribella, will you be my wife? Will you spend the rest of forever with me?"
"Yes!" I Choke out not even trying to keep my emotions under control. The love of my life just asked me to be his wife. A few years ago I thought I wasn't going to make it out of a basement with my daughter. Now I have my family. Charlie has a daddy who loves her more than the air that he breaths, and I have a fiance. Sebby thinks he's the lucky one, but I know it is me who is truly lucky.
