THE NEXT PART IS FULL OF ACTION! SO STAY TUNED!

ALINA'S POV

My head felt fuzzy as my eyes opened, the memories of earlier incidents flooding back to me.

I turn my neck, side to side to try and get rid of the ache.

I never realised just how uncomfortable it was to sleep with your hands behind your back.

This what the first time I had kept since being here, and it wasn't really as if I choose to go to sleep.

I've been too scared to sleep, my mind continuously scared that they could hurt me and I wouldn't these them come in.

As I stretched my whole body, I flinched back in surprise from the noise made by my foot hitting something.

After closer inspection after getting my breath back from the initial shock I realised that it was a styrofoam plate with what looked like beans and rice.

My mouth instantly watered at the food, my stomach ready to eat anything in sight.

I'm still unsure on how long I've been here. I feel as though I've been here for eternity.

The time I spent unconscious doesn't help either as I've lost track of time even more.

I could have been knocked out cold for 20 minutes or 20 hours.

From the ache in my head and body, I presume the latter.

What I do know is that I've been here long enough for the cuts on my body to start seeping.

They're not scabbing over and if the cold sweats coming from my body is any indication, I've been here long enough to develop an infection.

I eye up the bowl full of water next to my food longingly, wanting to wash my cuts.

But with my hands still cuffed up behind my back I have no way of getting the water to the wounds.

Plus, it's probably needed more for rehydration.

The lack of nutrients and fluids isn't doing my aching and bruised body any good either.

I sigh as I settle myself in front of the food attempting to eat it without my hands.

I just want to go home and be back safe with everyone.

I try and keep the faces of everyone I love in my mind to make sure I don't forget them.

ROMEO'S POV

They used decoys.

Fucking decoys.

After Adrian figured out how they escaped the building we felt as though there was light at the end of the tunnel.

That was until we tracked 8 garbage vans coming from the street we were in.

Everyone's been tasked with tracking a different van to make sure we don't miss anything but it's proving to be harder than we thought.

These vans are basically driving aimlessly. They're not stopping and they continue to go back on themselves.

They're trying to throw us off of their tails.

I am grateful that we have the streets CCTV cameras or we would be nowhere.

They weren't able to cover all of their tracks.

The times it's taken to switch to each camera when they're on a different road is astronomical but it's going to be worth it.

I'm tired but I can't sleep. Not when we're so close.

Plus, Mama and Papa continue working through their tears. If they can do it, then so can I.

I think they as well as everyone else have been anticipating a video or something to be sent from the Russians.

It seems the Russians weren't stupid enough to send anything that could be traced back to them.

It's a pro and a con at the same time.

It's a con because we aren't able to get any idea of where they are yet it's a pro because I don't have to see what they might have done to my baby sister.

Rapahel's mom has joined us on the search whilst leaving her husband at home to work from there.

She was lovely. She's been conversing with our parents a lot and tried to help reassure.

She's the one that gave the go ahead for her men to be sent down here to help us.

We have multiple people helping us check the cameras from back home and we have men from our ally mafias for when we need them.

They've all been very helpful. The majority have helped us with finding information.

We tracked down some of Alina's team mates and had our men question them.

We made sure to do it in an inconspicuous way as we didn't want to worry them and make them question anything.

None of them knew anything which proved our suspicions right.

We even questioned their parents just to be safe.

All of them had wonderful things to say about Alina. I can't understand why anyone would dislike her never mind hate her.

It was obviously an inside job done by Alina's coach. She has disappeared off of the face of the earth, so she must have been with Alina when she was taken.

It pains me knowing that Alina probably looked to that women for help only to be met with a the face of a traitorous bitch.

We were so caught up with Alina being taken that we didn't even think of suspecting Alina's gymnastics coach.

I mean why would we? She was in plain sight, helping children with their gymnastics competition.

We felt as thought the kidnapper wouldn't have shown their face much even with the cameras being hacked because there would have been lots of eye witnesses.

Sometimes the best hiding place is in plain sight.

We did some digging into her background to see if we could find anything that could help us.

From what we've gathered, she had no motive to do any of this.

Despite being from a small town in Russia there's no evidence of her having any affiliation with any small gangs or the Russian mafia.

She left home over 12 years ago to move to the US after a semi successful career as a gymnast.

She did not marry or have any kids at any point in her life. So there's nothing tying her to her homeland.

If she wanted to take Alina, why didn't she try take her before, when they lived in the same town?

Why didn't she try to take her during one of her gymnastics sessions?

It's not as if there would have been a report had she gone missing with those deadbeat foster parents.

Sorry, not parents, monsters.

The timing doesn't make sense.

There was a period of 3 years where Alina could have been taken by this women, yet not a hair on her head was harmed by her.

I sigh as I continue to look through the cameras trying to find something, anything.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

My eyes start dropping as the screen starts turning blurry.

I wipe my eyes and shake my head to get back in the zone.

My eyes start hurting as I continue to watch the garbage can take many turns.

The van makes it's way into a pretty active area before it comes to a stop.

I think nothing of it. Not until I recognise the face of Alina's gymnastics coach exiting the vehicle.

The realisation is like a shot of caffeine.

Two large men follow behind her holding a bag.

A bag containing what I believe to be my sister.

Bastards.

I will revenge my sister even if it's the last thing I do.

She doesn't get to be treated like that, ever.

"GUYS! I FOUND THE BUILDING!" I shout to everyone in the penthouse.

The sounds of heavy footsteps is all that fills my ears.

A smile fills my face for the first time in over a week as I turn to face my family.

My extended family, including Terry and Barry, Raphael and Elias.

A tear drops down my face as I whisper.

"I've found her"

For the first time in over a week, hope fills everyone's eyes.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

"Well then let's go! We can't keep her waiting any longer!" Adrian shouts as he starts to run out of the room.

He doesn't get far as Rocco grabs the back of his shirt returning him promptly to the table.

"ROCCO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? WE NEED TO GO TO ALINA!" He screams.

"You're not coming, Adrian." Rocco tells him.

Adrian steps back in disbelief as he looks at everyone of us. Like me, my brothers have their heads bowed so that he knows how sorry and guilty we feel.

"Why....why not? I'm just as good as all of you in combat! Plus she's my twin!" He argues back.

"Because you are our baby brother. You are just as valuable! We will not risk your life as well!" Marco tells him.

"Sacrifices have to be made: if I loose my life trying to rescue Alina, it would make me happy, because I would know that I tried my best for my twin!" He screams at us.

"That's exactly why you'll be staying here. It's not that we don't trust you Adrian, but we need you to be safe. We'd never forgive ourselves if you got hurt. You've done more than enough" Matheo tells him.

Adrian's mouth opens and closes before he narrows his eyes at me.

"I'm the one who found the garbage disposal, I'm the one that helped us find Alina. I should be the one to come and save her with you!" He tells us.

I sigh in response.

"Let him come with us boys. It's his decision, and we have to respect it. But if you get even so much as a scratch, you're out of there and back into safety, you hear me?" Dad tells him as he kneels down in front of him.

Everyone's heads swivel towards Dad.

How can he say that? Adrian's 14! I refuse to let him get hurt.

Adrian nods happily in agreement whilst smirking at me.

I laugh, shaking my head as I walked over to him.

I ruffle Adrian's hair, my hand grazing his ear.

My face turns into one of shock as I face Dad.

"Uhh Dad, Adrian's been scratched. He's going to have to abort the mission, immediately!" I tell him seriously as I look at the minuscule scratch on Adrian's ear.

I wonder who could have done that!?

I should definitely be an actor.

"NO! Dad, Romeo sabotaged me! He's the one who scratched me! Don't listen to him!" He yells in a panic.

I'm now the one smirking.

"I'm going to kill you Romeo!" Adrian screams at me before I'm chased out of the room by a 14 year old looking like an angry puppy.

I need Adrian in a positive mood before we leave.

I don't know what we're going to see in there but I know it's not going to be good.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

"Has everyone got their walkie talkies?" Luca asks us.

The building is small enough that we can all communicate through the walkie talkies.

We've studies the layout of the building on the way here and we've got our men flying drones ahead of us to look out for anything.

The building itself isn't that big.

There's 2 levels to it and it's in an active industrial estate. Gangs and mafias usually use empty areas to avoid any civilian casualties and eyewitnesses.

I guess this was another of their tactics to get us off of their trail.

There's 12 rooms on each level, all varying in size.

"Adrian, you're with Dad and me. Romeo is up with Mom and Rocco. And Matheo, Marco and Raphael are together. Please stick together! We have the rest of our men coming with us so we have enough people for none of us to split up." Luca tells us all.

"What about Terry and Barry?"

"They're staying with Elias. They'll be entering 5 minutes after us. We hope that if there are any men in there they will be distracted by us and so them and the rest of our men can slip in and find Alina"

"Has everyone got their weapons?" Marco asks us.

"Because nows your chance if you don't. I repeat. If you do not have any weapons, come and get them!" Marco continues.

Rocco smiles at the weapons strapped to himself, Luca and Matheo doing the same.

I've got mine.

Everyone's gaze turns to Adrian as he turns beet red.

He mutters something under his breath before standing up, and moving towards Marco, looking at the floor.

Typical. Absolutely typical.

Thank goodness Dad's staying with him. I can't even trust this guy to get up for school in the morning, never mind him doing a rescue mission.

The van starts slowing down before coming to a complete stop.

It's now or never.

"Let's go and get our baby sister back!" Matheo yells.
