Third person's pov- Breakfast the next morning was tense. Everyone seemed to be buried in their own thoughts. Gabriella noticed the tense atmosphere but didn't ask any questions

Antonio wasn't there for breakfast and it just made Xander feel worse, he knew he didn't come down because of what happened yesterday. He had to apologize

He hurriedly finished his food and rushed back upstairs. Xavier seeing this, also stood up and left as he already knew where his twin was going

"Why are you following me?" Xander asked as he saw Xavier

"I told you I also have to apologize to him. Besides I can't let my twinny go into the lions den alone now can I?" Xavier said cheekily and Xander rolled his eyes

They walked to Antonio's office together and Xander knocked hesitantly. They waited for a minute until they heard a 'come in'

They walked in to see their older brother sitting with files scattered all around him. He had dark circles under his eyes which indicated that he didn't get any sleep last night

When Antonio saw them, his eyes widened ever so slightly. He never expected to see them standing in his office after what happened yesterday

"How may I help you two?" He asked formally

When the twins heard his formal tone, they winced. They knew they fucked up real bad to bring out this side of Antonio

"I- I mean we came to apologize for what happened yesterday" Xander stuttered

"You're forgiven" Antonio said nonchalantly. He didn't want the twins to feel bad despite all that they said to him the other day. They were still his baby brothers

"No please listen to us. I made a mistake by bringing up dad, I know it was never your fault. I don't even know why I said that please forgive me Tony. It was never my intention to hurt you with my words" Xander pleaded desperately, tears welling in his eyes. He didn't want his older brother to hate him because of what he did

Antonio sighed heavily upon seeing the state of his brother. He got up and walked towards him, when he was close enough, he wrapped his hands around his baby brother

"I'm not mad at you Xander. It's okay, your words may have hurt me but I can never hate you" he reassured almost like he knew what was going on in Xander's head

"I'm also sorry for yelling at you" Xavier said timidly

"It's okay bud, I wasn't mad at any of you. You're both forgiven" Antonio said and ruffled his hair

"No punishment?" The twins asked together and Antonio shook his head lightly

"No" that one word made the twins upset. They wanted the punishment because it would prove that Antonio had truly forgiven them

"Give us a punishment!" They whined and Antonio's eyes twinkled in amusement. He never thought he would see the day that they would beg for a punishment

"Give me your phones and your games. You're grounded for a week" He said and they both immediately took out their phones and handed it to him

"We're sorry" they said in unison and ran out of his office. Antonio chuckled slightly seeing them run out

Gabriella's pov- I'm in my room, working on my painting for Matteo's birthday tomorrow. I just had to add some finishing touches and it would be done.

My door suddenly burst open and Stephano barged in with a smile

"What are you doing sorella?" He asked, peaking at my drawing

"Matteo's gift" I said

"Why?" He asked looking confused

"For his birthday tomorrow" I said and his eyes widened

"Shit" he cussed under his breath

"No way you forgot his birthday" I said with a deadpan express

"I didn't. Why would I forget my baby brother's birthday, I have an awesome gift for him. Well uh I have to go do something bye!" He said awkwardly and ran out of the room like his ass was on fire

~~~~~~~~~ Next morning- Matteo's birthday I was woken up by an annoying noise ringing in my ear. I opened my eyes and saw Matteo standing on my bed with a birthday cap on his head

"Good morning!" He yelled in my ear and I pushed him off harshly, making him land harshly on the ground

"Fuck" he groaned

"Why are you so heartless. Today is my birthday and instead of wishing me you pushed me off the bed" he whined

"Happy birthday Matteo" I said with a genuine smile on my face and he broke out in a fit of giggles

"Thanks bambina" he said

"Get ready, so we can go down" he said and pushed me into my bathroom

I hurriedly took a shower and went down with him to see everyone sitting at the dining table

"Morning!" Matteo greeted excitedly

We all ate quickly as Matteo wouldn't stop going on and on about his gifts.

"Okay now my gifts!" He yelled in excitement

"I swear if you yell one more time.." I trailed off as I walked towards him but Ales held me back with a light chuckle

"Sorry I just can't wait for my gifts, come on, come on!" He proceeded to yelling again

"Okay so we'll go oldest to youngest" Antonio said

"No way, it's not fair on the younger ones. It will go youngest to oldest" Grandpa said

"That would be me" I said and rushed up to my room and brought out his gift. I handed him a big black box and he eagerly opened it

"BAMBINA I LOVE YOU!" He screamed on top of his lungs and hugged me tightly

"You got me the game, thank you so much" he said with a happy smile. Aww he looks adorable

"One more thing" I said and handed him the framed hand drawn picture of both of us. I had my arm around his neck and his arm was wrapped around me protectively while I placed a kiss on his cheek

"Bambina it's beautiful. I love it" he whispered with tears in his eyes

"It's my turn!" Xavier said with a grin

"It's our turn idiot" Xander said, smacking his head

"Here open it" they said and handed him a huge box. He opened it to reveal alot of clothes from different expensive brands

"Thank you!" He squealed, clapping his hands in excitement and everyone laughed

Stephano gave him a customized real silver chain that said 'we love you always'. It was very thoughtful, I wonder how he managed to get it done under a couple of hours

"Thank you. I love you guys too" Matteo said as happy tears fell down his eyes

Next was the other twins (Damon and Deigo). They got him a VIP ticket to see his favorite musician (think of whoever is your favorite)

"No fuckin way thank you. I can meet my queen!" He screamed, gripping the tickets tightly

"Happy birthday Matteo" they said in sync

Bruno was next and gave him a small box. Matteo opened it and saw a key, his eyes widened in shock

"Y-you g-got m-me a c-car?!" He stuttered and Bruno chuckled then shook his head

"No I got you that bike you wouldn't stop talking about" he said

"You bought it?!" He yelled and I winced, holding my hands to my ears, he had been screaming alot today

"It's parked outside" Bruno said with a smile

It followed like that until we all have him our first. You'll never guess what happened, Grandpa bought him an estate, shocking I know

Today went good, no unnecessary drama. No calls, for the first time in a long time, I was genuinely happy

Little did I know that this was the calm before the storm.
