Nyx's pov Sweet old Gabriella has always kept me hidden but now I'm finally out. Time to teach those motherfuckers just who the fuck they're messing with

I took a shower and got dressed in a casual summer dress. I'll get dressed properly at the warehouse, I can't exactly wear my mission clothes now because them family would ask a shit load of questions

I went down keeping in mind what they have all done to Gabriella over the past few weeks. You see people think Gabriella is bad but that's because they haven't met me. Even the lame ass devil shivers when I'm around

I went to the dining table and sat down without greeting any of them. That's Gabriella, not me. I don't give a shit about nobody

"You could at least wish us good morning" the one I know as Matteo said and I rolled my eyes. Seriously how exactly did she handle them

"Shut your shit hole and just eat your food" I said in a monotone voice and everyone at the table looked at me in surprise

"Apologize" Antonio said and I chuckled

"No thanks buddy" I said and went back to my sandwich

"Excuse me?" He said in shock

"Sure" I replied not paying mind to any of them

"What's gotten into you?" Alessandro asked

"Same old things. Can you guys fuckin shut up and just eat like every normal sane human being out there. I know y'all ain't normal but you can at least pretend" I said in irritation. I really just want to eat but apparently that's not possible in this damn house

"Piccolo why are you being rude?" The old man asked and I had to bite my tongue to prevent myself from saying anything rude to him. Gabriella respects this one

"I'm sorry grandfather. I'm already in a pissy mood and they can't take the fuckin hint to leave me the fuck alone" I explained and he sighed heavily

"What do you mean?" Bruno asked

"If your small brain can't comprehend what I said then that's your problem" I said and walked out like the savage I am

I hopped on my bike and rode to the warehouse and there I saw Enzo, the hot guy Gabriella refused to date. I mean he got some fine muscles

'Don't even think about it or I will come back' Gabriella threatened and I smiled sheepishly

'Bitch alright I ain't gonna do anything with your ridiculously and irresistibly handsome friend' I said dreamily

'I'm warning you' she growled and I straightened up

'Okay jeez' I gave in

"Hey handsome" I said to Enzo and he frowned

"Are you okay Gabriella?" He asked

"Oh I'm perfectly fine baby" I said and his eyes widened. He looked into my eyes and his widened even more

"Nyx?! The fuck are you doing here?" He asked as he pulled me away from the listening ears

"Bios were stressing Gabriella out so I thought I could help her" I said and his eyes shown with worry

"Are you okay El's?" He asked, holding my shoulders

"Not Ella. I'm Nyx" I said and he rolled his eyes

"Shut it, you're just a personality. Can you stop? I want to talk to Ella not you. You are very mean" he said with a slight pout and I could tell he was reliving the last time we met

"So I've been told hun" I said and he gave me an unimpressed look

"So when am I leaving?" I asked and he shook his head immediately

"You're not going to that meeting. You're unpredictable, you'll ruin things there, this has to be done by Gabriella so bring her back!" He said slightly irritated

"Alright fine" I said as I slowly let Gabriella back into the surface, oh well I guess I won't be having any fun

Gabriella's pov "Hey Enzo!" I said cheerily, I feel great actually, turns out Nyx was of some help

"Oh thank God, you let Nyx out why?" He asked

"I didn't want to, she just came up and I willingly gave her control, I feel energized. She gave my family a hard time though" I said while laughing

"Shouldn't you see a doctor?. She's never stayed out for so long" he said

'My baby wants to get rid of me, I'm hurt' Nyx said and I rolled my eyes internally

"I'm fine Enzo. She helps me speak my mind so I don't want her to leave" I said and he chuckled

"Okay, you leaving now?" He asked

"Yeah l just need to get changed first" I said and walked to my room in the upper floor and changed into my outfit



I went to Enzo's office and found him typing away on his compound

"Here" he said, handing me the blueprint of the place

"Thanks I'll finish her up when I get back" I said

"Okay go now, you're late. They could be waiting for you" he said

"Who gave us the contract?" I asked curiously

"His brother Fabio, according to my sources, he is the actual heir. He was supposed to get the mafia but that cunning fox took the position and now he wants his revenge. He wants to take back what should have been his from the beginning" he said, not tearing his eyes from his computer

"Okay I'll be going now" I said and started walking away when he pulled me into a hug

"Take care" he said lightly and I nodded

I got back on my bike and drove to the location of the meeting. It looked like a legal place but I know it's just a disguise

I walked to the 'receptionist' and she looked at me with a sneer etched on her face

"I'm here to meet your boss" I said, switching up my voice

"My boss is expecting a high profiled guest so you can't meet him. Get out" she said while popping her gum. I clenched my jaw and grabbed her collar harshly

"That person would be me. You better not anger me or I will slit your throat got it?" I warned and she gulped

"I'm really very sorry" she said and led me to a door and immediately ran away. I opened the door and two heads snapped in my direction

"And who are you? I am expecting someone of high importance, get out before I make you" he threatened and I smirked

"Ace" was all I said and he scoffed

"Ace is a man. How dare you even claim to be him? Do you want to die?!" Fabio yelled

Let me explain, to the underworld, Ace is a man, only people who have had a personal encounter with Ace knows that he is indeed a woman

"Fabio it would be in your best interest to avoid pissing me off" I said in a deep voice and his eyes widened in horror

"Y-you are A-Ace?" He stuttered and I helped myself to a seat infront of him

"Don't ask dumb questions, who am I working with?" I asked harshly and he gulped. No wonder his brother outsmarted him, he is a foolish man

"He is sitting next to you. It's s-shadow" he said and my eyes slowly moved to the person sitting next to me.

"Merda" I cussed under my breath (shit)

"I shall take my leave now" I said and rose to leave when a daring hand held my shoulder

I twisted the hand and pushed the person to the wall with my dagger to his throat, I applied pressure and made some blood sip on the.

"Do. Not. Touch. Me. Ever. Again" I growled at Fabio and he gulped

"Y-yes I-I'm v-very s-s-sorry" he stuttered but I still kept the dagger in the same position

"You should know never to sneak up on an assassin. It could get you killed" shadow said and I could almost hear the smirk in his annoying voice

"Please don't leave. I need you for this mission" Fabio pleaded

"I don't work with people who steal my contracts" I said sternly. Now I know why Enzo refused to tell me, he knew I'd never work with shadow

"My apologies, I will pay you double the amount just-"

"Are you trying to double cross me?. If you are paying her double then I want my equal share" shadow cut him off

"Y-yes sir" Fabio said and I laughed at the same time Shadow chuckled

"Idiota, you hired us but you're acting like a pussy. Man up, even if we help you get back your mafia, it will fall if you keep acting like a child" I mocked him and shadow nodded. (Idiot)

"You two are the best, I know you will be able to do it please" he pleaded desperately

"I can't believe you're still on about me stealing your contract" shadow mocked me

"You just shut your mouth" I sneered at him. He always manages to get under my skin everytime

"Are we doing this? I have things to do" he said to Fabio and Fabio looked at me pleadingly

"How much was the original price?" I asked

"Two hundred and fifty million" he said and I smirked

"So you'll be paying me five hundred million right?" I asked as I trailed mg dagger around his face and he flinched

"You will be paying us equally" shadow said, grabbing onto Fabio's shoulder tightly

"Yes I'll pay" he said

"Okay now care to explain the plan?. I don't have all day" I said, looking at my watch

"Yes"

"In three days, there will be a party at my brother's house, after greeting everyone, he will most likely go to the first floor where his office is. That is where you guys will attack him" he said

"So he comes to the territory of the American mafia and holds a large party. What a complete and utter cool" I said and shadow chuckled lightly

"Yes my brother is incredibly foolish" Fabio said, puffing his chest

"And you are even more foolish" I stated

"That plan is stupid. What makes you think it would be as you say? If he was to indeed be in his office then the first floor would be heavily guarded.

We can't just waltz in there and be like 'hello we're here to kill you so that your brother can get back the mafia'" I said in irritation. How can one human being be so stupid

"She is right. Leave the planning to us, we'll do everything on our own. We'll also use our men" shadow said

"If that is all I shall take my leave" I said and walked out, I heard footsteps behind me and didn't bother to turn, knowing it was shadow

"Hello again babygirl. My sincere apologies for the last time" he said teasingly in my ear and I jabbed his side harshly as a warning

"You're a very brave girl. Till today no body has ever hit me and lived" he said, shaking his head

"Do you think you scare me shadow?. I dare you to try anything and I will have your head" I said in a deadly tone

"They don't call me shadow for nothing sweetheart" he said with a scoff

"And they don't call me Ace for nothing. You can't intimidate me, the sooner you learn that, the better it would be for you" I said and didn't wait for a response before leaving
