Third person's pov- "Do you all think she's okay?" Xavier asked his brothers

"I don't think she is. Maybe she just needs time to heal" Leonardo said as he stroked his chin

"I found something weird, early after the fight she said she misses her mom and that it should've been her. But I don't understand what she meant by that" Xander spoke up and the brothers frowned in confusion

Only Domenico truly understood the meaning behind her words and his expression changed into one of concern

Gabriella's pov- I woke up to my head pounding and I groaned. I got up and searched my drawers but couldn't find any painkillers

I staggered out of my room and slowly made my way to the kitchen, each step felt agonizing. I looked through all the drawers and groaned in annoyance when I couldn't find what I was looking for

"What are you looking for bambina?" I heard a voice behind me and I flinched hard. I turned around and saw Ales along with everyone else seated at the table, how didn't I notice them there?

"Painkillers" I told him

I watched him move past me and opened the upper cabinets, he then took out some medicine and placed it in my hands

"Thank you" I mumbled and he gave me a gentle smile

I took the pills and was about to make my way back upstairs when Antonio stopped me

"Lift your head Gabriella" he said sternly and I looked up at him

"I told you to always keep your head up. You didn't do anything wrong and I'm proud of you" he said

"I love you" I said and hugged him tightly, he stiffened but hugged me back immediately

I really do love him, I love all of them and I would do anything for them. Even if it means that I have to lay down my life one day, I'd do it happily

"I love you too my sweet bambina" he said and kissed my cheeks

"Come have breakfast" he said and took me to my seat

"You're suspended for a week so no school for you" he said and I nodded

"Ariana's in the hospital, she has a serious concussion, a broken jaw, three broken ribs and a broken collarbone" Matteo informed me and I couldn't hide the smirk that rose to my face

"Good" I said darkly

"You're scary" Xavier said with a shudder and I chuckled

"Alright you guys get going, Leo will stay with you bambina" Tony said and kissed my head before leaving, so did the others

I went back to my room after eating and took a shower. I put on a cropped top and some shorts, after that, I took my phone and began watching Alchemy of souls

Kdramas are just the best, there's nothing anyone can tell me about it

My show was interrupted by a call from my burner phone. I paused the film and answered

"Hello"

"Hello baby girl" I heard his voice and my face hardened

"Shadow" I spat out in disgust

"Ace calm down, I only called to tell you to come to the address I send you. We need to discuss the plan" he said casually

"Send it quickly" I said and hung up. Soon after I received the address

I sighed in annoyance knowing I'd have to come up with a way to leave. I went to Leo's room and knocked

"Come in bambina" he said and I walked in to see him wearing glasses with a file in his hand

These men don't know how to take a break

"Can I go out please, I'll come back early I promise" I asked and he turned to me, it seemed like he was thinking

"I don't think that's a good idea right now bambina" he said with an apologetic smile

"Please I won't be long" I said with a pout and he sighed

"Be back in three hours and be careful" he said and I nodded

I went back to my room and changed into a more professional outfit and put on my mask



I strapped a gun and a knife to my waist and left the house. I drove my bike to the address and saw a safehouse in the middle of the woods

I rang the doorbell and a guy opened the door, he whistled and I glared at him through my mask

"Well hello sexy. Come in" he said with a stupid grin

"I suggest you leave her alone if you want to keep your head" I heard a rather harsh voice and I moved my gaze to the other person in the room, it was shadow wearing all black and his signature mask as well

He led me to a secret room in the safe house and we sat down

"I've studied the place, we have to blend in with the crowd. Meaning to get in without suspicion, we have to fake being a couple" he said and I glared at him

"Would you calm down? I don't want to go with you either but I want to get the job done immediately" he said as he glared back at me and I rolled my eyes

"I get some of my people, you get some of yours, sometime during the party he'll go to his office as Fabio had said. There are approximately fifty guards situated upstairs and a mere twenty downstairs.

We kill anyone in sight, after torturing him, we burn the entire house down" he explained, it was a good plan but had a few holes in it

"How are we going to get enough petrol to burn down the entire house?" I pointed out and he rubbed his chin like he was thinking

"I'll have some guys bring a tank filled with petrol there and on our command, they will spread it around every corner of the house. But how can we get the people out of there?" He said and I shook my head

"It's a good plan, as for the people that are going to be attending, I've done my research, they're all fucked up. We'd be doing the mafia world a favor by eliminating them as well" I said and he cocked his head to the side, his eyes twinkling with a devious glint

"Very well" he said with a firm nod

"If that's all then I shall take my leave now" I said and walked away.

I made my way to the door and the stupid guy from before appeared again with the same stupid grin.

He slapped my ass and I quickly grabbed my knife and swiftly slit his throat. His eyes went wide and he clutched his neck, he made some gagging sounds

"At least die quietly" I said as I watched him meet his inevitable death

"You killed my man" Shadow said in a grave voice

"He had it coming" I said with a shrug and left

I hopped on my bike and made my way back home. I took off my mask and hid it in my pocket, I went to Leonardo's room and saw him in the exact same position he was when I left

"I'm home" I said and he nodded

"There's some mac and cheese in the refrigerator. You can eat that if you're hungry" he said and I left

I ate and decided to take a well deserved nap.

~~~~ I was woken up by some thumping sounds and realized the guys are home. My door swung open and the twins, Stephano and Matteo walked in

"Hi" I said in a croaky voice

"Your friends said to tell you that they missed you and give you this" Stephano said and gave me a box of chocolate. I smiled lightly when I thought about them

'Thanks" I said

"Do you wanna come down and watch a movie?" Matteo asked and I nodded with a loud yawn

We watched alot of marvel movies and I fell asleep again on Xavier's body.

"Bambina it's time for dinner, wake up" I heard Xavier say as he softly poked my cheeks

"Carry me please" I said sleepily and he chuckled

"Princess or piggy?" He asked

"Piggy" I responded and outstretched my arms to him. He easily picked me up and placed me on his back, he carried me to the dining room and placed me on my seat

"Hello!" I said in my hazy state and I heard multiple laughter's

"Hello to you too bambina" Dom said and ruffled my hair

I stuffed my face with enough food and made my way back to my room to sleep. I need to be fully charged for the mission tomorrow, I can only hope everything goes as planned
