Third person's pov- Gabriella was stuck in a hard place. She knew telling them how she became Ace would raise further questions. Ones she wasn't ready to answer yet

"We're waiting bambina" Antonio said, effectively snapping her out of her train of thoughts

"A few years ago, mom told me she and Luke had to travel for some important business and I couldn't come with. So she told me to stay with my neighbours for the time

One day while I was walking home from school, some guys who were older than me tried to force themselves on me

Then Sebastian's father came and helped me. He taught me self defense, he trained me and later told me that he was in the mafia

He also told me to consider being in the underworld as he saw great potential in me. After a while I agreed, and that was how I became Ace" Gabriella briefed

Most of it was a lie but she didn't want to tell them about Luke yet. She just wasn't ready to face that

"So Adonis also knows that you're Ace?" Alessandro asked

"Yes he also helped in training me" she answered

"Did Emilia know about them?" Domenico asked

"She didn't know about them being in the mafia but she had met them a few times and grew fond of them"

"Is there anything else you've been hiding from us?" Antonio asked and she immediately shook her head

"Can you please show me your weapons?" Xander asked looking like he could barely contain his excitement

"Of course" Gabriella said with a slight chuckle seeing the way he grinned

"This should never be spoken of to anybody outside our family. Warn Emilio because if he does anything that would expose my identity then I won't hesitate" she said in a firm voice and they all nodded

"I'll talk to him. No one is going to say anything about this, don't worry" Domenico said reassuringly

"I need to get some sleep bye" Gabriella said with a loud yawn

"And who is gonna clean the mess you made?" Antonio asked as he gestured to the fake blood on the floor

"The one who brought the plan" she said whilst looking at Alessandro and he cursed under his breath

Gabriella's pov- Morning came rather quickly and I was forced out of bed by Domenico. I took a shower, wore my clothes and went downstairs for breakfast

"Morning bambina" Antonio said and placed a kiss on my forehead

"Morning" I said as I sat down and began stuffing my face with pancakes

"Eat slowly Gabriella. You'll get sick" Leonardo said and I nodded

After eating, we all piled in the car and Stephano drove us to school. I got out and made my way to my class when someone grabbed my arm and shoved me into an empty class room

Looking up, I saw Alessio and I sighed in annoyance. Can't he take a hint and leave me the fuck alone?

"Alessio please let go of my arm" I said as calmly as I could

"Will you listen to me?" He asked

"I'll think about it" I answered and he shook his head

"I need you to listen to me. This is important" he said with an urgency in his tone that suddenly made me want to hear what he had to say

"What is it?" I asked curiously

"You're not safe. You have to be careful Gabriella please, I can't explain what I mean but you have to be careful no matter what. Don't trust people easily" he said and I gawked at him

What is he saying? I'm not safe I know that but how does he know that?

"What exactly are you trying to say?" I pressed further

"I mean there are people out to get you. You are in danger, do you understand what I'm trying to tell you now?!" He said in a hushed voice as if worried that someone might be listening to him

"Look I know you're mad at me for what I did and sincerely I'm sorry. I was having a bad day and I took it out on you. I didn't mean what I said, please forgive me" he said as his grip on my arm tightened

I looked into his eyes and saw the guilt swirling in them. I can't continue being a bitch to him after his apology

"Okay. I forgive you" I said and he sighed in relief

"Please take what I said seriously. Talk to your brothers about it, they'll figure something out" he said and walked out of the class

Does he know about us being the Italian mafia? He knows so much but says so little, just who exactly is Alessio?

Emilio's pov- After leaving that stupid meeting, I went to Amira's house. I saw her sleeping peacefully, my heart warmed at the sight of her beautiful face

"Amira baby wake up" I said as I lightly shook her

Her eyes slowly opened and met mine, I could be mistaking but I could have swore I saw irritation on her face. Maybe she's just tired

"Yes" she said in that angelic voice I have come to love

"I'm thinking of moving out of my house. I want to buy an apartment so we can both stay there" I said

I don't want to be around people who don't respect who I love. They don't respect nor do they value me, what's the point of staying in such a place where I know I'm not wanted?

"Why is that?" She asked as she placed her head on my chest and I kissed her forehead

"I found out something that I never would have thought would be possible" I said and she sat up immediately

"What is it?" She asked eagerly with a look I couldn't understand

Something in me told me that if I were to let it slip I would forever regret it. I can't sell my own sister out even though she has been nothing but rude to me

"It's nothing important. I just don't want to be in such an environment anymore" I said and she nodded with a far off look in her eyes

"That's okay. Let me know when you're ready" she said and placed a kiss on my lips

I held her neck and deepened the kiss as I felt my stress suddenly disappear. She pulled away slightly and kissed my cheek

"I love you" I whispered

"I love you" she whispered back

And that was all I needed to go to sleep. I fell asleep with the love of my life in my arms, nothing could ruin this moment for me

~~~~~~~ When I woke up, Amira was no longer on the bed, maybe she went to the bathroom.

I turned on my phone to see several missed calls from Alessandro and Domenico. What could they possibly want?

I made my way to the kitchen to get a glass of water when I heard Amira talking to someone on the phone in her room

Who could she possibly be talking to so early in the morning?

I stood outside her room and the words that came out of her mouth felt like a stab to the heart

"When can I stop this act? I'm getting tired and Emilio is as stupid as a little child. He was going to finally spill some information yesterday but he stopped halfway

Just go on with the plan Viktoria I'm tired of pretending. I can't pretend that I like him anymore, get that bitch so I can be done with him

Send the balance payment to my account. Bye I have to go before the idiot wakes up" she said and hung up

All this was a lie? She never felt anything for me? Everything was fake?

How could she do this? I gave her everything, I literally wanted to move out of my house just to be with her. Everything I did, I did for her and she was just lying to me

What information is she talking about, who is this Viktoria girl? It sounds Russian. Amira is working with the fuckin Russians

I put my family in danger, I put Gabriella in danger. How could I be so stupid? They will never forgive me, I have to right my wrong immediately

I went to my car and took out my gun and tugged it into my waist. I walked back inside to see Amira in the kitchen, she turned back and smiled at me, how fake can she be?

"Morning baby" she said and kissed me

"Morning, what's for breakfast?" I asked

"Toast" she said and I sat on the stool in the kitchen

"Emilio baby, is Gabriella still causing trouble for you?" She asked as she moved closer to me

"Yes, she has turned everyone against me. I wish I could just get rid of her" I said and I noticed a smirk grow on her face

"I could help you with that" she said and kissed my neck

My eyes stung as I realized what I had to do to put an end to all this. She may have faked caring for me but I genuinely did love her

I pulled out my gun and shot her twice in the stomach. She gasped and moved away from me as her hand clutched her wound

"H-how c-could you d-do t-this t-to me?" She stuttered as she coughed up blood

"I know everything Amira. I trusted you, I loved you but you were just using me to get information on my family to feed to the Russians

You stupid bitch I gave you everything! Do you want to know what happens to a traitor?" I snapped at her and she shook her head

"They die. See you in hell" I said and shot her in the head

I wiped the tears from my eyes and left her house. She was the only girl I ever loved, the only person I wanted to spend my life with. And yet she was just faking to love me

What exactly do I tell everyone, how can I even begin to apologize to them? To Gabriella? I hurt her the most and one thing is certain, she will never forgive me
