Damon took a step to her and extended his hand for her. "You said you will do it for me." Nancy could tell if it is either she will do it for him or he will make her do it. Nancy knew there was no going back from here. She had told him she would do it for him and now it was time to act upon it. She gulped and put her hand in his hand. She walked beside him without a soul. Her eyes dared to spill tears.
She was never supposed to marry him. Yet, she ends up marrying him. She was never supposed to kill her brother. Yet, she was going to kill him. No matter how big of the treason her brother had committed. She will always be remembered as someone who killed her little brother. And, people like her were called house rats. Nancy was a little confused when he took her to the rooftop. But when Damon made her cross a bridge between two buildings Nancy realized they were walking back to his dungeon. Two of his men were walking ahead of them while two were on their backs. For the first time, Nancy wonders if he is good enough at fighting when he has to have his guards around him all the time. She admitted his punches made her guts bleed but it didn't prove his fighting skills with another opponent. She wonders what she could do to save her brother. Could she fight with him? She looked at Damon but all she could recall was the times he had hit her and fuck her. Her heart dropped in her chest.
His men opened the elevator on the rooftop and Nancy walked in right beside Damon. She was still in her hospital clothes. Her hair was open and some were sticking on her forehead with all the sweating. Nancy noticed him looking at her but she refused to look at him now. Her blood was boiling. She didn't want to recall how her father had asked for her to care for her brother or things were going to be harder for her. Her face twitched a little anticipating how she would ever face her brother.
The elevator came to a stop on the third floor. Nancy bit her cheek when Damon pressed her hand a little before he started guiding her out of the elevator. Nancy noticed huge cell rooms on each side. Some had men hanging from the ceiling and Nancy couldn't help but look from right to left. Wondering if she will find her brother hanging upside down. Her feet became a little faster and Damon let go of her hand. He smiled enjoying her state. She looked funny to him. In one cell, Nancy noticed three sandbags hanging and a few men with their hockey sticks. She passed that one too and looked at the next but Damon was quick to tell her. "We are here," She turned to look at Damon.
"What?" Nancy whispered more to herself before she took her steps back and looked at the cell with three sandbags too. Those were the only people that had their faces hidden. Moreover, none of other cells had his men in them. It seems her brother and two other people were hanging upside down too. Nancy heard something breaking in her chest as if thousands of glass shreds had pierced her heart. She gripped the iron rods that had bordered the cell and bit her lip hard. She feared making a sound or her brother could hope for the escape. She couldn't give her brother hope to escape when there was nothing she could do for him. Damon was walking to them and Nancy couldn't help but run to Damon to request. "At least, don't tell him I am here. Please, please..." Damon smiled before snaking his arm around her waist.
Damon realized it was the first time he liked her. She looked amazing running to him as if he was her only savior. As if he had every key to her problems. "Say no more, why wouldn't I accept your request?" Damon retrieved a gun from his jacket and offered it to her. Nancy looked down to stare at the gun and looked at Damon again with her eyes full of tears. "Or you want to use a knife on his throat." "No!" Nancy whispered a gasp. Nancy was about to hold the gun with her shaking hand when Damon got it away. "You will let me teach you. Won't you?" Damon looked amused as if he was about to teach his girl something interesting. He walked past her and Nancy too started walking after him slowly. Damon when noticed she was walking slowly gestured to his men standing around the sandbags. Nancy ran to the cell when she heard those men hurting her brother. But Damon was quick to pull her wrist and get the gun in her hand. He held her wrist up and looked at her. Damon raised his brow and his men stopped hitting the men in the sandbags. "Pull the trigger."
The cell was huge enough that one could miss the target. Nancy had complete control of the gun but not her wrist. Nancy could tell he did it so she wouldn't use the gun on his men. "Pull the trigger. Just as you see in the movies, right?" Nancy got disgusted when Damon slowly got behind her and put his chin on her shoulder. "You can do this." Nancy looked at the blood that had pooled on the floor for all the beating her brother had gotten. And, then looked at the huge padlock on the cell. There was nothing she could do for her brother. No way, Damon would take her brother to the hospital to treat his injuries. Her brother was in pain. And, was slowly dying already. She inserted her finger into the trigger and bit her cheek hard before pulling the trigger. Her shoulders hit Damon's chest. The loud gunshot made Nancy freeze but the groan she heard wasn't of her brother. Damon had aimed it for the shoulder. It was the one hanging at their right. Damon cheered for her. "You did it!" And slipped his large hand to her waist. Nancy winced realizing it was the same place where she had her stitches patched up from the surgery but she didn't resist. She wanted this pain to get through what she was doing.
Nancy's hand wanted to shake but Damon only got his grip fast and kept her focus. "Pull it again!" Damon roared to cheer her, making Nancy look down when she pulled the trigger again. She hit into his chest again and Damon groaned a little. Nancy hiccupped realizing his erection poking at her back. Damon kissed her neck and Nancy jumped a little before trying to lift her shoulder to get him away. "Look at them, Nancy." Nancy looked at the hanging sandbags. Nancy's eyes widened seeing the body not moving now. There was no voice coming from him. Nancy realized she had shot his head.
"They are your enemies too, Nancy. Recall whatever had happened to you in the last days." This made Nancy raise her chin to look at Damon as if he was the only person to blame for what had happened to her. Damon too gave her an intentional look before he smiled. "No, I am no one to blame. We started on the wrong foot because of them. Aren't you proud of me to avenge our culprits?" Holding her chin he made Nancy turn her head to the front. When Damon moved her wrist to the next man Nancy shook her head. "Who are these other men?" Nancy asked and Damon smiled. "These two are the ones who had helped your brother to flee or one of them could be your brother. I don't remember."
Nancy looked up at Damon who had a devilish smile to offer her. And, even though he is smiling Nancy could notice his madness. He was trying to enjoy what he was doing to them but she could detect his rage in his flaring nose and bulging vein on his temple. Nancy knew that he knew which one was her brother. Nancy's arm shook but Damon pressed her wrist so hard all the while ordering her. "Shoot!" "Aaaa..." Nancy gasped when he yelled letting her see the fraction of his true emotion. The wrath she could sense boiling in him had her in a spell when Nancy pulled the trigger and it again hit the man on the shoulder. The cry of pain was enough to tell Nancy that it wasn't her brother. This made her look at the third one. Was the third one her brother? But she didn't get much time to think because Damon shouted again. "Shoot!" Damon screamed and Nancy shook her head violently. "They are hurting." Nancy gasped but Damon was quick to sniff on her hair and say in a lower tone this time. "You promised me, darling. You promised me. You promised me." Damon's hand was leaving a deep imprint on her wrist and Nancy gasped in pain. "Do it for me..." Damon whispered in her ear in a deep groan but his hold on her wrist was enough to tell Nancy that he was mad beyond measure. "Shoot!" Damon shouted again and Nancy pulled the trigger. This time the second one in the middle had gone silent. There was no voice coming from him now. "You are getting good at it. Aren't you? Now, to the last one." Nancy narrowed her eyes to that one. She wonders if this one had her brother. Damon's grip was too fast on her wrist Nancy could feel her hand losing the sensation. When Nancy got reluctant Damon tried to bribe her. "We will go have a good brunch once you finish him." Nancy was now convinced it was her brother. He intentionally tortured her until now. Damon got his hold on her belly fast and Nancy's lips shivered in pain. "Ah..." "Shoot," Damon growled lowly in her ear. Nancy started pushing her body more into him to avoid his hand on her belly. "Forgive me," She mouthed and closed her eyes before pulling the trigger. This time again Damon had hit for the shoulder. Nancy gasped listening to the groan but then quickly realized the person groaning in pain wasn't her brother too. Her mouth was left hanging in surprise. Damon was quick to snatch the gun from her hand. "Come on! Or we getting late." Nancy kept looking at Damon and was about to say something but Damon pulled the trigger for her and finished the job. Nancy looked at the three men and wondered if Damon didn't know what Ken looked like or if he had tortured her unnecessarily. But what did he want then? Nancy looked at him in surprise.
"He deserved it. Didn't he?" Damon held her chin tenderly and rubbed his thumb on her hanging lip.
Nancy looked at him and for a moment she wanted to push him hard for the joke. But then wondered if it was a test for her loyalty. Damon patted her cheek a little before he passed the gun to his men. Damon started walking to the elevator but Nancy looked at her hands before looking at those bodies that were hanging upside down lifeless. She had killed people. She had blood on her hands.
"You can't possibly get blood on your hands from such a distance. What are you looking at?" Damon asked and Nancy looked at him.
"What will be of his body?" Nancy slowly asked fearing his reaction. And, Damon indeed seemed annoyed by her concern "I see he is your brother but we don't bury traitors with our family." Nancy knew none of them were her brother. She waited for him to reveal this information to her but when he didn't she chose to remain silent.
Not because she wanted to save her brother but because she didn't want to kill him herself if Damon ever caught him.
When Damon found her not walking he smiled, "You want to have a look?" Nancy looked at him with eyes filled with disappointment. But she tried to be in control when she told him with a hard jaw. "I won't."
But Damon was quick to get her face up and smiled. There was a playful smile on his face that Nancy hated. He was about to say something but then looked at the bodies. "Let's get you somewhere better. Shall we?" Nancy inhaled sharply but what filled her senses was blood and misery. The air around them was heavy and Damon's presence made it harder to breathe.
Nancy started walking beside him while two men waiting around the elevator quickly open the doors for them. This time Nancy looked at him but he was looking ahead. Nancy wonders if he thinks he has killed her brother. What if he doesn't know none of those men are her brother? But if the revenge he was punishing me for had ended where does she stand in this game now?
Caught in her thoughts she stumbled ahead only for Damon to get his arm around her neck and pull her in. "Ahhh..."
"Watch out my wife." Nancy widened her eyes in fear. She could sense something lethal in his walk. Was he going to finish her too? There were no other plans she could think of for her. He was indeed going to kill her now.
