"My lord, we have gotten our hands on Kendell's brother Jonathan. He..."

"Kill him." Sitting in his white crisp shirt close to the fireplace Demon muttered without emotion.

"No wait," Robert stood to resist and told the man. "Investigate him for any leads. We want Aria at any price." The moment Demon heard the name he closed his eyes. And, Robert gulped realizing how he spoke against his order.

The man left and Robert started carefully. "Demon I had to. We can't let that slut slip."

Robert could have never believed that girl dare to trick him. He too was beyond mad for his cousin. And, as if it wasn't enough she left him with a middle finger that too on the security cameras.

"Robert?" Demon uttered but Robert shook his head stating. "For the third time Demon. For the third time. I am going to burn her and damn I will do it as slowly as possible." In the dimly lit room Demon only inhaled looking at the fire. He could still recall how beautiful her long legs were. She was crafted heavenly. He could still feel her skin on his hand but gulped before continuing. "I want to fucking skin her alive. And, I will keep her skin. Here..." Demon pointed to the wall in his office. "...for everyone to see. That this happens. This happens when you play with me!" Demon had got his breathing ragged again. He was shivering with anger hating how her smile was the only thing still roaming in his thoughts. He gulped on the burning liquor but knew no amount of sting could hurt him at the moment.

Robert only bit his mouth shaking his head. He had already sent a message to his wife that he won't be coming home tonight. But what scared him the most was the fact that in three days the world's most prestigious families were invited to the wedding. Some were sending their representatives while the ones close to their family had their heads attending in person. And, even this idea was Aria's. She wanted a grand wedding and Demon didn't blink to give her that.

"I am telling you she..." Robert started but was sulking even with the mention. Robert knew it was hard for Demon to sit here and do nothing but enough with giving people an amusement show. "...she had some old score to settle. She is the product of some job unfinished." But there was no way Demon could be soft for her.

"I WANT HER SKIN FUCKING HANGING IN MY OFFICE." Demon yelled pointing to the wall but then looked at the wall as ıf he could already imagine this work done. And, a smile spread over his face. He could already see how it is going to be a story to tell.

Robert who wanted to talk about cancelling the wedding didn't. He could tell it wasn't the great time to remind him. But still, Robert couldn't help saying. "How about you marry my wife's cousin? Or my assistant. Great bodies and they have a thing for you. Or that casino girl you were fucking last year? You have got fucking awesome options. But no. You always manage to find sluts." Robert noticed how Demon's face twitched slightly. Demon raised his finger without looking up. "Not a great time to mention anything that is slightly woman, Robert." Robert closed his eyes and walked to the window but only after a short moment a man walked in.

"I have heard they lost Jonathan." But Robert lost it. Of course, Demon's men were trained to tell him anything despite what situations they were in. It is the kind of life they lead. Always ready to take any news.

"Do they want to die?" Robert snapped wondering who was on the field dealing with it but heard Demon throwing his bottle on the wall. But the moment Demon stood to walk away Robert said,

"You can't lose it, Demon..." Demon who didn't seem to acknowledge a word coming out of his mouth kept walking making Robert add. "...don't make fun of yourself." This indeed got Demon turn to look at him. And, Robert knew he should haven't said it.

"Can you laugh?" Robert had to remind himself that he won't kill him. Or the chill he sent to his backbone was enough to have his doubts. But when he walked away Robert could tell he is going to give terror to the whole city tonight.

The last time was when he killed his second wife. Her lover literally had his pieces in various parts of the city to see. Even at that time, Robert who cared great about his reputation spread that his wife was never unfaithful and it was Demon who killed her out of boredom. Or the man spread on the road was a different case who was found in the embezzlement.

It was better than letting people know his wife cheated on him. For Robert, their family's prestige was above everything. They were not just a cartel. They were a three-hundred-year-old family here. Their wealth and influence knew no bounds. But with this came the burden. One might think they must have a lot of relatives. But it wasn't the case. They were barely five cousins in the whole bloodline. Because only the one who truly cares or accepts the head of the family survives. Only the one who understood this family asks for sacrifices and their freedom survived. The rest were always taken out sooner or later.

Robert gets men like them had a difficult time finding loyal wives. Finding his wife he knew he was lucky. But wonders how Demon couldn't look past for the third time in a row. Though he had someone on his bed whenever he wants. Finding a girlfriend had always been a challenge for him. And, why not? He always wanted his women to not only be young or pretty. He also had a thing for women who were into striptease. To him, such women promised fun.

Not that Robert had anything against young and open women. He knew the problem lies with Demon. When it came to relationships he either wanted to be understood without any effort or only knew violence. Without a mother in the picture, he was raised evil. His father had never told him no. No matter how ridiculous and sadistic his adventures could be. The people he gets to be friends with from other bloodlines were equally narcissistic. And, had this unseen competition of having the beautiful and young women in their arms they could flaunt. In the past, Robert believed he will change his ways with age but he was fucking thirty-six.

But knowing he can't say a word Robert turned around and made a call to the Deputy. "Hey, Demon is out. You better get the city down. Now!" It wasn't much of trouble given it was already nighttime and a very cold one at that. Robert wonders who is the poor guy left by his brother but hoped it could give Demon some calm.

Robert got back home and walked to his bedroom. He found his wife sitting with their three-month-old daughter in her arms. Selena was a twenty-eight-year-old brunette and had a silky robe on. One look at his wife and Robert knew Demon could never have it. Demon could never love anything as much as he loves his wife.

Robert knows a woman should be faithful in the marriage. But knew even he would have cheated on Demon too at some point given he can never satisfy a woman emotionally. And, women needed that at some point.

Robert kissed his wife's head and made his presence known. His wife was having a post-partum depression and Robert knew sex was off the table. Women love it when they are loved without the expectation of sex.

Demon only wanted someone to worship him without giving much. The only way he knew to show love is to bury his women in money and diamonds.

"You look troubled," Selena asked her husband and he chuckled. "Demon..." Only the mention was enough to trouble Selena's expression. "Let's not." She stopped him and Robert only nodded in understanding. He knew his wife had seen the man with a bloody hand once.

The fear Demon could instil knew no boundaries. He was rough and Robert gets that the head of the family was supposed to keep a certain kind of reputation but Demon certainly didn't know he had to keep it out of the family. Of course, he wasn't bad with his family until...

"Eliza was missing her daddy the whole day." Selena break Robert's thoughts and holding his daughter Robert forgot all about it for a moment.

"Your suit came in. It is going to look amazing on you." Selena mentioned and Robert chuckled. "I trust your choice..." But then trailed off recalling they don't need it anymore. "...but..." The phone rang and broke their moment.

Their butler picked up the phone and soon came to inform Robert. "Mr Anderson, it is Joseph." Selena closed her eyes. Joseph was Demon's best field man and would report to Robert anything that demanded attention. Selena was regretting this phone in their home.

Robert walked away with his daughter in his hand and got the phone. "Hello,"

"We have got a situation here." Robert knew the word situation always involved a woman. But he was positive Demon was in no mood. "What is it about?" Robert was clueless for a second.

"That Jonathan turns out to be Jonathanne."

"Jonathan who?" Robert asked and Joseph chuckled. "The guy we were thinking was Kendell's brother."

"Are you people stupid? How can you mistake the identity..."

"There were no mistakes on our part. That's Kendell's sister." Robert's mouth gaped for a moment before he said, "God save her."

"She is past saving. Demon had gotten her somewhere." Only Joseph could call him Demon instead of Lord. Only when they don't have company.

Robert couldn't worry about the woman whose brother tricked them. In fact, now he was relaxed. He knew Demon won't be seen on the roads showing his inadequacy in keeping his woman. "There is nothing to worry about. Burry her the moment he is done with her."

"I will see what will be left of her to bury." Robert hated his humour. Though Robert was the same Anderson too he tried to show he carries a bit more humane side with him. "Look for any relatives they have..."

"There is no one," Joseph added.

"If someone comes looking for them in our county. They better not see the light of the day. You get me?" Robert ordered.

"I know the drill," Joseph assured and Robert cut the call. He turned around to smile at his wife who had walked out of their room.

"What was that?" She asked but when Robert only smiled she nodded. "Don't tell me." She walked back and Robert was about to follow her when he peeked out of the large window in the corridor. It had started snowing for some time now but he could tell a storm was on the way.
