Third Person P.O.V

Rosita's ship lands on the stage with a soft hiss, a thin layer of fog on the ground of the stage and the area covered in jagged rocks and dead vines, dead bushes scattered around at random.

(Y/N) steps out with Rosita, Gunter, Ash and Clay following as the crowd cheers for them.

"Captain's log, we have reached the last planet of this galaxy," Rosita softly speaks as the crowd quiets down, the lights above dimming and glowing a pale pink. "The signal for Johnny has... has completely disappeared. But we will not give up!"

"He has to be here," (Y/N) speaks urgently, looking around with wide eyes as she rushes towards the center of the stage. "Johnny?! Johnny!"

Johnny anxiously moves side to side backstage, exhaling sharply as he rubs the back of his neck and sits down on a nearby crate.

"Ready, Johnny?" Buster asks as he walks over with Marcus, grinning with excitement.

"Um," Johnny chuckles nervously, a sheepish smile on his face. "Maybe. I don't know. I'm real nervous."

Marcus fondly laughs, sitting down next to Johnny and patting his back supportively. "I understand, son. This is one of the most important moments of your life with her. It's normal to be a little nervous."

Johnny's leg bounces with nerves as he leans back, his hands on his knees. "What if she says no?"

"Well..." Marcus rises from the crate, looking down at Johnny with a smile as his arms fold over his chest. "There's only one thing you can do. Respect her decision, and go from there."

He looks over to Barry and Stan, Stan glaring down at Jimmy in annoyance as he tries to get free from his hold.

"I'd better go help the lads. Good luck, son," Marcus gently speaks, nodding to him as he walks over to join Barry and Stan.

"Trust me, Johnny. You've made her the happiest person in this world," Buster encourages with a grin, nodding towards the stage. "Whatever comes next, just know that I'm grateful that you're always there for her. Thank you."

Johnny looks up at him with some surprise, Buster saluting as he turns and walks away to join the cast watching.

...

"This is the last planet in the galaxy, (Y/N)," Ash speaks sympathetically, shaking her head sadly. "I'm sorry, but... I think he's lost, out there somewhere."

"He has to be here," (Y/N) repeats firmly, shakily breathing out as she looks around once more. "Johnny?!"

Her pleading shouts were met with silence, the audience on the edge of their seats as they watch the girl fall to her knees in despair.

Rosita frowns as she walks over, kneeling at her side and setting a comforting hand on her back.

"Sing," Rosita urges gently, (Y/N) looking up at her in question with tearful eyes. "Your voice will guide him to you, I'm sure of it."

The audience all murmur in awe as the background darkens completely, a crescent moon lighting up with pink and purple aurora surrounding it. Johnny's silhouette could be seen through the moon as he sits at the piano, shaking out his hands before starting to play.

(Y/N) slowly rises to her feet, Rosita stepping back to Gunter's side as Johnny continues to play the gentle piano melody.

"Light glimmers in... a flower," (Y/N) sings out, the lights around the stage turning a pale shade of red. "Like jewels in... a dream..."

(Y/N) looks up to the ceiling, the crowd chattering in delight as hanging stars light up a bright shade of gold and white. "The sky breathes life... love... to everything..."

The spotlight on her follows her as she steps forward, holding a hand to her cracked armor's chest.

"At times I've thought... I'm not enough," she shakes her head slowly as her eyes shut, her eyebrows furrowing in sadness. "The chains that tie my heart..."

(Y/N) turns to the moon, looking up at it with determination, "but there's still a path that lies... ahead... for you and I..."

Johnny smiles to himself as he continues to play on the piano, his eyes shutting as his fingers dance along the keys.

...

"Memories fade away," (Y/N) continues, her hands lowering from her chest as she turns back to the crowd. "Clouds of yesterday... with no... one... to love..."

The crowd watch in silence as she sings, their eyes wide in awe.

...

She looks down, her shoulder slumping in defeat. "Is this life worth living?"

(Y/N) raises her hands outwards, reaching out to nothing. "Come back to me! And stay by my side... I feel my heart shake... come ease this ache!"

She clasps her heart in pain, her eyes squeezing shut. "I'm standing over here, reaching for you... a million miles away! Come back and stay..."

"No matter how far... the memories may be," (Y/N) looks up towards the stars, reaching her hand to them. "When I close my eyes, you're all that I see! Come back to me!"

The crowd's eyes start to water a bit as she sings out, all watching with interest as some watch with their mouths dropped in awe.

...

"A million miles away! Come back and stay..."

The crowd cheer and applaud as the spot light dims a bit, most of the crowd crying freely.

Marcus smiles proudly down at her, holding the back of Jimmy's collar in a tight hold. Barry was sobbing as he wipes at his eyes, Stan shaking his head in amusement as he watches (Y/N) with his arms folded over his chest.

Buster chuckles as he clears his throat, shaking his head as he wipes at his own tearful eyes.

"She's really that good, huh?" he questions rhetorically, chuckling once more when he turns and sees Miss Crawly sobbing and Meena dabbing at her eyes with a tissue.

Nooshy smiles with sparkling eyes as she watches (Y/N), Merlin grinning ear to ear as he lets his tears fall. Suki smiles as she wipes at a falling tear, sniffling a bit.

Johnny's hand rests on his knee as it bounces lightly, a smile on his face as he listens to the crowd cheering for her.

Rosita looks down at her scanner, gasping softly and showing it to Gunter, Ash, and Clay.

"Keep singing, (Y/N)!" she shouts excitedly, waving the scanner side to side. "I'm picking up traces of a life force!"

(Y/N) looks over with wide eyes, nodding in response before she continues.

"La... la la la..."

As she sings out, a golden strand of stars float around her, the lights above shining brightly.

"La, la la la," she continues to harmonize, "la, la la la... la... la, la la..."

The golden light around her flickers a bit as she continues singing, the aurora lights swaying gently.

"La, la la la!" (Y/N) sings out with her eyes shut, her voice thick with emotion and love. "La, la la la, la la la la! La, la la la...!"

Her voice echoes a bit through the silent theater, her arms outstretching towards the crowd.

"La, la la la..."

Gail sniffles as she stands from her seat with tears falling from her eyes, opening her mouth and singing the harmony with (Y/N). Norman looks to her with surprise, Hannah slowly joining her with Casper, Mickey, and Rory.

He watches them with a gentle smile for a moment before standing as well, joining them in singing the harmony with (Y/N).

"La, la la la!"

The crowd starts to follow suit, joining in as the rows of seats start to glow a warm shade of gold.

"La, la, la la... la, la la la!"

(Y/N) looks at the crowd in surprise before smiling kindly, continuing to sing with them.

Buster peers out at the crowd with his mouth parted in surprise and awe, a soft laugh leaving him as he hums the melody quietly under his breath.

"La, la la la!" Meena joins in as well with Suki, Miss Crawly still sobbing as she joins as well.

Porsha sniffles loudly as she sings with them, wiping her eyebrows furrowed sadly as she smiles.

"La la, la la!" Merlin sings out lowly, his arm wrapped around Nooshy's shoulders as she sings along with him.

"La, la la la!"

The crowd continues to sing with (Y/N), Jimmy watching with disbelief and rage as he struggles against Marcus' hold.

"La, la, la la! La, la la la!"

Johnny softly sings along as he rises from the piano, exhaling through his mouth to calm his nerves as he smiles to himself.

"La, la, la la la!"

(Y/N) felt tears form in her eyes as she chuckles breathlessly, continuing to sing with the crowd with a wide smile on her face. "La, la la la!"

The crowd raise their hands, swaying them side to side in a waving motion slowly.

"La, la la la... la, la la la! La, la la la... la, la la la..."

Ash joins in with Clay, Gunter sobbing as he joins as well. Rosita smiles at (Y/N) proudly as she sings along, side hugging Gunter.

"La, la, la la... la, la la la...!"

Johnny rubs his hands together before rubbing them on his costume's pant legs, the lift carrying him down to the ground level.

"La, la la la! La la, la la! La, la la la!"

The theater was lit up by the golden lights around the walls and stage, the screen behind (Y/N) slowly becoming dimmer as the moon vanishes.

"La, la la la! La la, la la... la, la la la!"

Klaus watches with wide, tearful eyes in the back of the theater, Nikolaus refusing to watch as he scowls to himself with his arms crossed over his chest.

"La, la la la! La, la la la!"

The golden lights around the stage begin to spiral up towards the ceiling, the stars hanging casting an illuminating glow around the theater.

"La, la la la! La, la la laaaaa..."

The crowd suddenly stop and erupt with cheers and applauds, (Y/N)'s brows furrowing in confusion at this as she looks behind her.

Johnny was entering the stage, his hand rubbing behind his neck sheepishly as he smiles while approaching her in long strides.

"Johnny?" she whispers with a head tilt as he takes her hand, her eyes darting to the crowd. "You're early! Your cue hasn't..."

Her words die in her throat as Johnny kneels down in front of her, his hands raising towards her as he opens a small, black box and reveals a gorgeous wedding ring inside.

(Y/N)'s eyes widen as a gasp leaves her, her hand coming up to her mouth as the audience screams with cheers.

Rosita's mouth drops in surprise, Ash bouncing up and down as she cheers with Gunter, Clay chuckling warmly with a smile.

Buster crosses his fingers with a grin as he watches the two, rising from his chair to get a better view.

"Oh, goodness!" Miss Crawly's voice was full of shock and excitement as she fans herself, smiling at the two.

Meena cheers with her arms raised in the air, Merlin's mouth dropping in shock before he squeals with a laugh as Nooshy leans forward in anticipation with a grin. Porsha squeals loudly as she twirls and holds her hands together, clapping rapidly.

...

"Johnny... are you... this isn't part of the show," (Y/N) quietly says in realization, blinking rapidly as she tries to hold back tears.

"No, it's not," Johnny sheepishly chuckles, tilting his head a bit. "I love you, (Y/N). You mean the world to me, and I knew from the first moment I saw you that you were the one. I can't imagine my life without you in it. You're the song I don't ever want to get out of my head."

He opens the ring box, revealing a gorgeous diamond in the shape of a music note with (Y/N)'s birthstones surrounding it, the band a white gold. He offers the ring to her, a crooked smile on his face.

"You encourage me when I'm unsure of myself, you lift me up when I'm down, and you're always there when I need you," he continues, keeping his eyes on hers as the crowd continues to cheer. "And I promise to do the same for you."

"You already do, Johnny," (Y/N) quietly replies with a soft chuckle, smiling down at him with tearful eyes.

"Then... I'll keep doing it," Johnny promises, taking her hand as she offers it to him. "I'm not very good at big, fancy speeches, so I'll just ask... will you marry me, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N)'s cheeks hurt from smiling as she lowers herself on her knees in front of him, her hand coming up to the side of his face and resting on it. He leans into her touch, a hopeful smile on his face as he leans his forehead against hers.

"Of course I will, Johnny. I love you with all my heart," she answers in a whisper, angling her head up and pressing her lips to his.

Johnny blinks rapidly in surprise before hugging her close, his eyes falling shut as he smiles widely into the kiss.

The music starts to pick up as the lights on the stage come to life, the previously dead bushes and vines becoming green once more as flowers bloom from them. The crowd all cheer in awe as fireworks shoot off on the screen, Johnny and (Y/N) pulling away from the kiss with giddy smiles on their faces.

Buster and the group cheer backstage, Buster and Miss Crawly hugging one another as they both sob in joy.

...

Rosita cheers and claps her hands together, Gunter wailing as he cheers and Ash and Clay applauding the couple.

The stars above glow a brilliant gold as the screen lights up with an explosion of color, the crowd continue to scream with cheers as Johnny rises and offers his hand to (Y/N). Lights spiral around the two, the fog clearing up from their feet as the platform beneath them starts to raise them up.

"Sing, let your heart soar!" (Y/N) sings out happily with laughter, Johnny taking her hand and carefully slipping the ring onto her finger. "Sing, forever! Sad and so happy, feelings flow over, now!"

"Our world is full of, all kinds of colors! Closing my eyes I, still can see the stars!"

(Y/N)'s arms hang loosely around Johnny's neck as he gazes down at her with a loving smile, his arms around her waist holding her close.

"Shine in the sky, sing their harmony!"

Flower petals start to fall into the crowd as they continue to cheer, gold fireworks still going off and mixing with the aurora lights.

"Flowers, they're blooming! Oh, it's beautiful!" (Y/N) laughs as Johnny bumps his forehead against her softly, her eyes shutting. "Sing.... sing, sing! Sing this song, I won't stop now! Sing it through, I love you! The voice carries on!"

The moon rises on the screen, now full instead of the crescent shape.

"Mission completed!" Rosita speaks happily, her hand on her hip as she smiles. "We're all going home!"

Confetti bursts from the stage to signal the end of the show, the crowd roaring with never ending cheers. They rise to their feet in a standing ovation, Clay chuckling breathlessly as he looks down at them.

(Y/N) and Johnny wave to the crowd as they cheer their names, Johnny hugging her close to his side before pressing a kiss to the side of her head. She looks up at him in adoration, hugging him tightly as he smiles and holds her close.
