I stare into the eyes of my shocked brothers, brothers I once loved.

I realise that my plan has been ruined, I already know that they're not going to leave me alone while I'm here so there will be no opportunity for me to kill all of them.

I'm going to have to conceal the fact that I'm here to destroy them whilst acting civil enough for them to let me go.

I'm not excited to face Ivan once he finds out I failed but that's future me's problem.

"D-Darcy," Romeo stutters, the use of my old name causing me to silently cringe. The unknown men in the corner look very puzzled as Romeo approaches me.

"Is that really you?" He whispers, grasping my head softly in his hands. "Woah, personal space buddy," I say, squirming away from his touch.

"You're alive!" Luca shouts in disbelief. "Clearly," I reply sarcastically. "Can we loosen up these ropes," I mumble, not liking the power differential.

Lorenzo loosens the ropes, allowing me to stand and straighten out to my full length at five eight. My wet hair cascades down my back as my leggings and vest top shrink and cling to my skin thanks to the bucket of water my lovely brother threw on me.

Lorenzo places both of his hands on my shoulders, seemingly analysing my face. I look back at him blankly before he crushes me in a hug that quite literally might of broken my bones. Seeing his face fills me with an undeniable sense of rage and anguish.

I don't hug him back, I can only think about the time I spent in that dungeon while he was up here in this cushy mansion enjoying life.

"Darcy," He says, holding me out in front of him again. "How-"

Although I'm enjoying this pleasant family reunion I have to cut him off, "How long have I been out," I ask sternly.

"What?" Dante asks, probably confused by my harsh tone. "How. Long. Have. I. Been. Out," I break it down for him, hoping his tiny mind will understand.

"Well you were found around eleven pm last night and it's twelve in the afternoon now," Luca trailed of.

Fuck. I was here all night?

Panic courses through my body as I realise that I'm utterly screwed if I don't start moving now.

Ivan only assigned me four hours to complete this mission before I have to be back at the airport, and I've over exceeded that allowance by quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if he's commanding one of the I.T guys to blow me up as we speak.

"It was nice seeing you guys," I say insincerely, pushing past Lorenzo. "What, where are you going?" Angelo asks desperately, trying to grab my arm but I brush him off.

I don't reply as I head to the cell door but my way is blocked by one of the unknown men in the corner. He looks down at me, his bright green eyes piercing through my soul as he refuses to move out the way.

Irritated, I turn back to my brothers. "Okay Darcy, how about we all go upstairs and talk for a bit," Lorenzo suggests in an exaggerated calm.

"Don't call me that," I demanded, not paying attention to anything else he said. I don't fully identify with the name Sin, everyone just started calling me it and it stuck but it's much better than Darcy. Darcy Russo is long gone.

Lorenzo just nods, motioning for me to follow him upstairs. As we walk out I stare at all the prisoners that are locked up, wondering if any of them are being kept here unjustly like I was back in Russia.

I'm not interested in staying for a little chit chat, as soon as we make it out of this grimy basement I'm bolting out the door. These men may be strong but none of them are as fast as me.

I walk up the vast stairs, taking two at a time to create space between me and the stranger behind me. "The password is your birthday," Lorenzo calls from further down the stairs.

Feigning calm, I type it in as quickly as possible before rushing out and closing it after me.

Knowing that'll buy me at least five seconds I sprint down the hallway.

I watch as the mystery girl in front of me climbs the stairs slowly. She's Darcy? The cute, innocent Darcy I've heard so much about?

She looks nothing like they described her. Whenever they'd talk about her they'd paint the picture of this tiny girl with big chubby cheeks, who looked at the world with such love and positivity.

When they removed the hood that was over her head and reacted the way they did, I was baffled, not understanding how they could make any links in similarity from this girl with a sharp jawline and lifeless looking eyes to their sister who they spoke so highly of.

She typed the code into the steel door and pulled it open but as I went to climb through, it slammed in my face.

I stood there bewildered for a second before Lorenzo shouted, "Fuck, move!" before shoving me out the way.

He urgently typed in the code before running out, only to be met with an empty hallway. "Split up, don't let her leave this property under any circumstance," He commanded, already half way down the hall.

We all knew that it wouldn't be just as simple as her running out the front door, she would have to take many detours in order to avoid the guards stationed at almost every exit.

Me and Nico take off down a hallway, heading to the west wing of the house. This girl must be the flash or something because it's as if she completely disappeared.

We look in every room we come across until I spot a door that's slightly ajar. I motion for Nico to quieten his steps as I gently push it open.

There she is, standing at the edge of the balcony seemingly psyching herself up to jump down.

Jesus this girl must be desperate if she's willing to risk breaking both of her legs jumping off a three story balcony.

I quietly approach her, trying my hardest not to startle her. The wind blows through her long, dark hair as she moves forward, stepping off the balcony.

I swiftly hook my arm around her waist, pulling her back over.

She fights in my grasp and twists my arm, making me release my grip. She bolts back into the bedroom, unaware that Nico's in there ready to tackle her.

He grabs ahold of her, only to be slammed into the ground. Damn this girl's got some hulk like strength.

"Motherfucker," Nico groans, laying flat on the floor.

I practically leap onto her, holding her arms tightly by her sides, "Let go of me," She demands, still trying to fight her way out of my hold. "Calm down," I say in an attempt to defuse the situation but it only seems to enrage her further.

"Calm down? Calm down! Bitch don't you tell me to calm down-" She argues as I sling her over my shoulder and walk down the hall.

She desperately claws at my back with her long nails but I ignore it, focused on getting her to the living room.

I place her on the sofa and wrap both my arms around her, keeping her in place while Nico runs off to find the rest.

"Listen, whatever they're paying you I'll triple it if you let me go," She negotiates in a sweet tone. I have no time to reply before Romeo and Seb walk in, clearly out of breath.

"Dude why are you hugging my sister?" Romeo questions.

"I'm not hugging her I'm restraining her, she's crazy," I mutter, offended that he thinks I'm trying to mac on with his previously assumed dead sister.

I'm not ruling that possibility out but now doesn't quite seem like the time.

"Well let her go," He says with a false confidence. "If I let her go she's going to run," I promise him. "No she won't-," I cut off his sentence by lifting my arms off her, resulting in her immediately trying to get up.

I sigh and pull her back into me as all her brothers reenter the room. Now confident that one of the eleven large men surrounding her could prevent her from running away, I let go of her and give her some space.

"Darc please tell us why you're running away from us," Arlo pleads in the softest voice I've ever heard him use.

"I told you don't call me that," She seethes at him. He ignores her and starts rattling off questions, "Where have you been all this time? We thought you were dead." He asks, his voice cracking towards the end.

She doesn't reply, only looking at him with a hostile look in her eyes.

"Why are you acting this way and why did you come back if you immediately tried to get away again?" He questions, his voice riddled with concern and confusion.

Suddenly a loud laugh is heard from across the room, the sound emitting from the person I least expected, Alonzo.

"It's obvious why she's here," He scoffs, surprising me because I think in the entire seven years I've known this man I've only heard him speak once.

"She's here to kill us."
