It's been two weeks since we left the hospital and Sin's been acting very strange.

She's been distant and withdrawn, only coming out her room to eat and then immediately returning.

At first I thought she was just mad at me for allowing her to get hurt but I soon realised that she was behaving this way with everyone. Before she left the hospital she was pretty civil with all her brothers and was even hanging out with Nico and Seb regularly but now she's completely had a change of heart apparently.

I can't help but take offence to her sudden disinterest in me. I don't know if it was because it was my first time but when we had sex I felt some sort of strong connection to her, like our souls were tied.

It hurts to think that she felt absolutely nothing because ever since that night my feelings have been growing stronger. I know liking her makes everything complicated but I truly can't help it, I'm just drawn to her.

All her brothers have been clearly worrying about her sudden isolation from the family, Romeo especially. So he invited her to come hang out with us while we play ball and maybe head out to the beach. Of course she politely refused but Romeo made all of his brothers pester her into going, to which she eventually caved in.

We all stand in the foyer waiting for her patiently. "She's probably not coming," Seb yawns.

"Speak of the devil," Nico chuckles, looking at the top of the stairs.

She carefully walks down the marble stairs, her long hair tied into a messy ponytail with loose baby hairs peaking out.

She's wearing black baggy jeans paired with a tiny lilac corset. Gold jewellery adorns almost every part of her body, perfectly complimenting her tan skin.

"You ready?" Romeo exclaims, clapping his hands together. She nods as we all turn to walk towards the garage.

Romeo drives with Matias in the passenger seat as me, Sin, Nico and Seb are all squashed in the back. "So what we thinkin, beach first?" Nico asks.

"Yeah can we stop by burger king I want some fries," Sin asks, those being the most words I've heard out of her for the past few weeks.

"Bitch I just watched you take a four course meal up to your room not even an hour ago," Nico laughs, which earns a swift elbow to the ribs from Sin.

Sin smiles as she looks down at the catastrophic meal she ordered, which is probably big enough to feed an entire family for a couple days.

Nobody makes fun of her though, we're all just happy to see her happy and actually eating something for once. She seems to be in a better mood than she has been recently, I think being out in the sun is doing her some good.

"Let's finish this at the beach," She says, her mouth filled with fries. I laugh at her stupid cute face as Romeo pulls out the burger king car park and heads towards the beach.

We arrive quickly, hopping out onto the scorching hot pavement. Italy seems to be having a serious heatwave right now because these temperatures are straight out of hell.

Nico and Sin walk ahead, shoulder to shoulder while laughing about god knows what. A twinge of jealously hits me, I know they're just friends but I can't help but hate any man that can make her laugh like that.

Nico, Seb and Romeo immediately strip into their trunks and ditch us at the top of the crowded beach. We lay out our towels and sit down, plopping our cooler next to us.

"You two not swimming?" Sin asks, looking over at me and Matias.

"Nah that's for kids," He scoffs. "I'm trying to attract one of those," He says, nonchalantly leaning back and motioning towards a group of women, all in bikinis.

I roll my eyes at his thirstiness but Sin laughs. "You've gotta approach them, make the first move," Sin suggests. "You think?" He asks, looking over at Sin.

"Uh huh," She nods. Matias thinks for a second before standing up and brushing the sand of his legs.

We watch intently, practically biting our nails in anticipation as he approaches the girls confidently, only to be immediately rejected.

Me and Sin burst out in uncontrollable laughter as we gasp for air, watching Matias mumble to himself as he returns to the towels.

"You know what fuck this shit, I'm going to get an ice cream," He huffs before walking past us.

We continue laughing long after he's gone. "Awh poor guy," She chuckles, lying down on her towel. I join her, placing my head only inches away from hers.

We stay in comfortable silence for awhile, the bright sun rays beaming down on us as we stare up at the big blue sky.

I ruin our peace by turning over to her, using my elbow to support my body. "So," I trail off, "Are you going to tell me what's been going on with you?" I ask gently.

"What do you mean?" She asks, avoiding eye contact. The guilty look on her face tells me she knows exactly what I mean.

"Why have you been so sad lately?" I ask, genuinely concerned. "I haven't been," She states defensively. "I disagree," I tell her.

"I haven't been sad, I've just been... confused I guess," She sighs.

"Confused about what?" I question but before she has time to answer that idiot Nico is calling over to us.

"Would you two stop being boring and come in!" He shouts from the water. I roll my eyes, ready to continue this conversation but when I look over at Sin she's already up and taking off her clothes.

I watch as she pulls off her jeans revealing a tiny yellow bikini bottom that perfectly hugs her curves. "Can you cover me up while I change tops?"

"Santiago," She clicks in front of face, pulling me out of my trance. "Uh yeah," I clear my throat, slightly embarrassed that she caught me staring at her. I take the towel out of her hands and wrap it around her as she changes.

"Done," She chirps, causing me to drop the towel. I watch, mesmerised as she walks towards the ocean.

"You coming?" She calls out from half way down the beach. Not having to be asked twice, I strip to my trunks and follow after her.

We spend over an hour in the ocean talking and relaxing while the more energetic members of the group play games. "Come on Darc you've gotta play, get on his shoulders," He says, pointing at me.

She looks at me worriedly, "Urm I don't know, it's too high up," She replies. "Wow didn't take you as someone afraid of heights," I chuckle.

"Shut up, fine bend down," She retaliates. I pick her up and place her on my shoulders as she grips onto me tightly and squeezes her thighs around my head, which would be hot if it didn't feel as if my brain was about to explode.

"Don't drop me, or throw me, or-" She rushes out but I interrupt her. "Relax, I won't drop you," I laugh, "I promise."

We wrestle against Rome and Seb who lose every time because I refuse to let Sin fall of my shoulders. "Ha!" Sin screams as she pushes Rome off Seb's shoulders, winning the final round.

"Loserssss," She taunts as we begin heading back to the towels.

We make it back only to find Matias completely passed out with ice cream all over his face. Sin snaps a few pictures before Seb starts kicking at him to wake up.

"Here," I say, handing her my hoodie. "Thanks," She smiles. "I can barely fit in that tiny corset while I'm dry, imagine me trying to get into it while I'm wet." She chuckles.

Yes I think I will imagine it.

For the second time today, I catch myself just staring at her. The soft orange glow from the setting sun reflects on her face, illuminating her perfect features. She looks absolutely radiant.

"Alright lovebirds, stop making out let's go," Nico calls over to us, causing Romeo to scoff.

"Absolutely not, my sister isn't going near any men until at least thirty," He declares, throwing his arm around her.

"Ugh my feet hurt," Sin complains when we're half way back to the car, causing Romeo to lean down in order to give her a piggy back ride. We arrive at the car ten minutes later. Sin must have been exhausted because she passed out, her head resting on Romeo's shoulder.

He places her in the back once we've all gotten situated and she immediately cuddles into my side, leaning her head against my shoulder.

The car steadily takes off as a secret smile spreads across my face.
