' what did you just call me?'
-----------------------------------------------
the Salvador's brothers was known to be ruthless.
coldhearted killers, playboys, psychopaths.
they were feared by all who knew their name, rightfully so- they were crazy after all. they didn't care who got hurt in the process who they had to torture or kill to get what they wanted.
but something had changed over the course of a few months- the people working for them could all tell. something was different.
they were still cold, and ruthless and if you pissed them off they would put a bullet between your eyes, but they were less- impulsive.
they didn't get angry all of the sudden and start shooting people for no reason.
and everyone was even more confused when one day Dominic walked into the Salvador enterprises headquarters with his arm around a woman's waist.
surely everyone knew he fucked around with plenty of women but no one was ever brought to the office and they weren't looked at like that by him either. an unfamiliar smile on his lips reserved only for the blonde beauty who rolled her eyes playfully.
'' mr Salvador'' Dominic's assistant greeted readjusting her dress showing off more of her breasts and legs.
Dominic didn't even spare her a glance but lillith did her brows furrowing. '' I placed all the papers you asked for on your desk'' his assistant said trying to sound seductive something that didn't go unnoticed by lillith who was dragged inside Dominic's office by Dominic who closed and locked the door after her.
'' so what do you think?'' he asked waiting for her opinion of the place- before she could answer though he picked her up and walked over to his desk sitting down in his chair with her on his lap.
she let out a carefree chuckle hers arm wrapped around his neck. '' its nice'' she assured him softly.
he smiled down at her passing a soft tender kiss on her lips.
Dominic was no soft man- in fact he was the opposite. he was cold and dangerous. but if you'd known lillith you'd known how hard it was not to let your walls falter around her. she was surreal.
at first glance she looked like something out of an old book. her clothes wasn't like the modern worlds girls clothes. it wasn't cropped, or tight sitting , or showing off her body.
no it was trousers, dress shirts, long dresses and hair held up by pins and ribbons.
and then her words was like reading a good book. every word thought through so well that there were no flaw in her speech. and her voice itself was like sweet honey, and then again she had proven that she could bite too- so perhaps a bee would be a better example.
it was frankly rather hard for the Salvador's to not smile at her- to not feel the urge to give her everything she asked.
'' you have to work '' she chuckled lightly as Dominic began trialing kiss down her jaw and neck reaching her shoulders looking up at her mischievously his eyes darkening with lust.
'' I don't want to '' he countered making her smile brightly her eyes lighting up in the most adorable way.
'' if I'm distracting you I should leave perhaps I'll just go home and see what Enzo is up too'' she teased with a knowing smirk.
he leaned his head back laughing softly at her. '' are you blackmailing me my love?'' he asked amused.
she shrugged '' work Dominic, then we can mess around later'' she promised placing another soft kiss on his lips though this time he deepened it by grabbing her silky blonde hair pulling her closer.
'' I love you so much lillith'' he breathed out.
'' love you too nic'' she replied brushing some lose strands of hair out of his face.
he smiled like a child who had just heard the greatest new of his life.
he would ever only be soft with lillith. he would only ever love lillith, and if one day she was too die on him he knew that the minute he was sure she was dead. out of his reach he would follow her in an instant. no hesitation.
he would not survive without his lillith.
I quickly grew bored sitting on nics lap.
I should've never told him to work.
it was a mistake the reasonable side of my brain had made. a grave mistake now that I was bored out of my mind.
'' where are you going my love?'' nic asked looking up from his papers as I got up from my otherwise comfortable seat.
'' fetching coffee and lunch for the both of us'' I told him with a smile.
I truly had fallen head over heals in love with my kidnappers. a thought I never wouldn't thoughts I would ever have and yet here I was. he handed me a black card making me furrow my brows '' its for you, don't worry there's no limit on it'' he said as if that was supposed to assure me.
'' I cants accept it '' I told him glancing at the card mistakenly and of curse the four idiots had written my name on the card. only it wasn't lillith decker- lillith Salvador it read.
'' its not even my name '' I told him with a pointed look as to which he just grinned '' it will be soon enough'' he claimed.
I took the card hurrying out of the office before he managed to see by tomato red face. god why did they have this affect on me.
I closed the door behind me only to be meet with a scowling auburn woman. '' hello'' I greeted seeing as she was starring intensely at me.
'' what are you doing with mr Salvador?'' she asked through gritted teeth, an emotion I regained displaying in her eyes. jealousy. oh god no. why was it always the secretary's? always!
'' ehm -'' I didn't quite know how to answer that question '' just because his fucking you doesn't make you anything special'' the woman gritted out catching me by surprise.
okay the secretaries in the romance books usually wasn't this rude. and they suddenly didn't look like they wanted to kill anyone. but this one did. and I cursed out every single romance book I had ever read- because frankly they had underestimated how shitty such a situation was.
'' I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way but I was just going to get some lunch'' I tried to tell her but before I knew it she had slapped me. fucking slapped me! ''' excuse me? ''
'' you cheap whore how dare you say that to me like you are anything but an ugly slut'' she growled. fucking growled!
'' what did you just call me ?'' I asked with a sneer before I had a pen to her neck. '' you better watch your mouth bitch, or this pen goes right though your neck, got it?'' I seethed.
the Salvador brothers company suddenly had changed me. she nodded weakly. making me storm off.
I didn't feel bad though.
I felt quite good. she deserved it.
and the worst part of it all was if she had said another word I would've stabbed her with that pen before she could manage to say another, and I would've done so in cold blood.
I smiled to myself at the thought.
maybe I should've just done it.
