Auroras dream

I walk down the street and see my dad as happy as ever waving his hand telling me to come over to him.

I give a warm smile and speed walk over there.

As I keep walking he gets farther and farther.

I start to run but his big smile fades into a frown.

I froze as I heard a car stop behind me.

I felt chills come up. I daringly turn around and see a black corvette and who comes out makes me shake with fear.

It was Tom with a angry expression. He quickly walks to me but I try to dash towards my dad but Tom caught me.

I struggled trying to get out of his grasp reaching for my dad who is standing there frowning.

Tom eventually overpowered me and dragged me back to his car then threw me in the back seat closing the door.

I pound on the window screaming for my dad as he slowly fades away as Tom was driving farther and farther away.

Auroras pov

I woke up from the nightmare and realize it's still night.

I shiver in the cold room trying to look for a blanket.

Tom: Here take this one.

I heard a voice say.

I look over to see Tom tiredly sitting on a chair looking at me holding a blanket.

I safely took it from his hands and got back into the bed trying to warm myself up.

Tom: No thank yous?

Aurora: Thanks..

He scans my face as he furrowed his eyebrows.

Tom: What you did was extremely reckless and stupid. Killing your self is definitely not a option. And if it was a plan for you to "escape" me then you suck at making plans. You could have actually died Aurora.

Aurora: But I didn't.

Tom: Please just stop making it hard for all of us.

Aurora: I will listen if you answer this one question.

Tom: What is it?

Aurora: Are you gonna kill me?..

I said glancing at him with glossy eyes.

He returns the gaze with a unreadable face.

Silence goes by and I have my answer.

Aurora: When is this going to happen.

Tom: As soon as possible.

Aurora: Please just make sure kayana is ok then...

I replied with a shaky voice.

Tom: Will do.

He said getting up and walking out of the room closing the door.

I laid down letting tears fall down my face and eventually cried myself to sleep.

I quickly change in a outfit then start walking to find kayana.



I found kayana in their backyard sitting in the flower field they have.

I quietly join her and closed my eyes accepting the fresh air and sweet scent from the flowers.

Kayana: This is 100% my favorite spot in the crazy place.

I open my eyes to look at her, and give her a warm smile.

Aurora: I agree, it's very peaceful.

She nodded in response as she leaned to her side and gently put her head on my shoulder. I accepted it and put my head on top of hers.

Aurora: I wish this happy moment was in a better situation.

Kayana: Why do you say that?

Aurora: Something bad is going to happen Kayana and I need you to get over it fast.

Kayana: What are you talking about? Your scaring me.

Aurora: One day when you wake up I won't be there and I'm never gonna come back..

I said trying to make it not sound that dark.

Kayana: When is this gonna happen?..

She said in a sad shaky voice immediately realizing the situation.

Aurora: Soon.

Kayana: Why is he doing this?!?! He likes you Aurora.

I look at her serious face now getting a little red signaling that she is about to cry.

Aurora: He is incapable of love Kayana, even so I would be on the bottom of the list. I will never like that man.

Kayana: He might hurt you but look deeper into the situation. Do you really hate each other or are you guys just denying each other's feelings?

Aurora: It doesn't matter now, I'm gonna die by his gun. It's been decided.

Kayana: I will never let him rest if he does.

She gives me a sad smile as I give her a fake one. She then gets up and walks back inside leaving me alone in the flower field.

I start to cry again, crying isn't like me but these past days I can't help but cry.

I sat there the whole day thinking about everything.

I fidget with my bracelet as I felt rain drops hit my head.

I stick my hand out seeing rain drops spread all over my hand.

I sighed finally being able to relax from my thoughts.

I stand up slowly walking back to the house as I kept thinking about what kayana said to me.

Does Tom really like me?

I shake the thought away and walk straight to the bathroom that's in the bedroom I'm sleeping in.

I slowly undress out of my wet clothes and go into the bathtub turning the knobs so warm water comes out.

I turn off the water as the tub was filled with enough water.

I relax feeling the warmth of the water as I heard a knock at the door.

Tom: Aurora.

I heard his cold voice say.

I didn't reply knowing what he was gonna say next.

Tom: It's time.

Everything went in slow motion now. I drained all the water and put on some baggy pants with a black faded band shirt.

I put my shoes on and walked out of the bathroom meeting eyes with that same cold look.

Aurora: You can show your true emotions now, it's not like I'm gonna live to tell anyone.

I said breaking the silence.

His gaze softened.

I walked past him and quietly walked out of the house not trying to wake anyone up.

I stood next to Tom's car waiting for him to unlock it.

I saw his tall figure coming out of the house as he presses the button on his key unlocking the door.

I get in and put my seatbelt on.

He gets in and starts the car.

Everything was silent. The radio wasn't on he wasn't trying to talk. The only thing to be heard was the dirt road reacting to Tom's tires.

He finally stopped his car at a desert like spot. You can't see houses, roads, buildings for miles.

He opens my door and I get out.

He starts walking and I follow him.

I'm not trying to run because he has his gun in his hand.

I'm sick of fighting back. It's tiring and for nothing.

He stops and turns around facing me.

I look at him with a serious expression as he does the same.

We stared at each other for a couple of minutes before he lifts his arm up and positions his hand that has the gun in it to point at my face.

I kept my serious face but felt tears run down my face.

He gives me a sad look seeing my tears.

His grip tightened on the gun as he looks regretful.

He then groans as he put the gun down.

I crumbled.

I fell to the ground and started sobbing.

I felt so relieved but so confused and scared.

Why didn't he kill me?

What is he gonna do with me now?

Does he like me?

Do I like him?

Tom walks over to me and helps me up.

I look into his eyes and he does the same.

I let my intrusive thoughts win. I slowly put my hand on his cheek.

He was hesitant at first but accepted it.

(I know he just tried to kill her but he didn't 🤷🏽‍♀️)

He gets a little closer and gives me a kiss on my lips.

As he pulled away he started leading me to his car.

It was silent but not in a bad way.

He quickly drives home and leads me to his room.

I didn't even think what happened, everything went by in a blur

I turn around quickly looking at his face and of course his smirk, his lip piercing moving a bit as he was playing with it.

I felt a warm pair of lips touch mine I was surprised but didn't want to fight it right now, a couple of minutes later we were on his comfortable bed naked making out .

What felt like hours our lips sadly separated, we looked at each other with lust in our eyes nothing else mattered.
