Chapter - 59

Vanessa's POV:

2 days later,

I sat down on the bench near his club, I know that day he took me with him from here. I know it's not an pleasant memory but it started here.

I am looking for a job, but I came across here so I couldn't stop but to sit here. That day when he attacked Daniel I hated him, but... events changed, scenes too.... and now I am hopelessly missing him....

I think he might have left already, went to his city. Why would he stay here? His mother lives here, he hates her.... and seems like he doesn't care for me either....

So.... what is the point?

I took a bite out of the sandwich feeling heavy, my eyes tears up every time I think of him. I was never this weak.

Seth, you really ruined me!!!

I kept the sandwich on the bench not willing to eat it, I don't want to eat, it's so sad right now... Maybe I will eat something before going to bed.

But I sighed, I should just try to live my life. It doesn't seem like he... he will return to me....

I got up talking my bag, I was walking when I felt someone was behind me. I turned back but....but no one is there, just some random people minding their business.

I sighed, maybe something has gotten in my brain. I kept walking, it's already dark I should go back home. I had a terrible day, I got rejected again. Like I had no answer where I was for these months. At this point seeing this gap in my resume, they question the timeline.

I whispered walking further, "I am hopeless..."

I felt it again.... Someone is following me...

I turned back in horror.

I saw no one again....

I am spooked now.

I kept walking fast I heard the footsteps loud and clear. I am so terrified.

I ran at one point, I turned to have a glance I saw a man rushing with a cap and dark coat.

I ran faster with almost blur eyes. I noticed the club, yea... people....

If there are people they will help me...

I noticed Seth!! He was getting out of his car. I rushed to him closing my eyes. I fell down, I heard a voice. I looked at him when he stood in front of me.

I saw Seth looking at me questioned, he sat down to my level. I was fearful, it is dropping down my eyes as tears.

Seth said, "Why are you here?" I felt a sharp pain in my knee, I fell down right... it hurts!

I whispered, "Some... someone is following me...Seth... someone is there..." I looked back pointing at the dark road, I saw no one.

I turned to Seth, he said, "It's not going to work.... I told you..."

I looked at on this, I explained, "No... there was really someone... I was at the park and I felt it...."

Seth closed his eyes gathering some patient, he looked at me I whispered, "Believe me...."

Seth said, "then what.... what it has to do with me?..... Go to police, it won't be hard since Commissioner lives next door.... and I don't believe you..."

My fear turned into anger, I whispered, "You..." I couldn't find words to tell him. He is really over me.

I got up yanking his hand off me. I started walking back. My knee hurts a little, but I will manage.... At last I am the only one in the world for me.

I walked all the way home, I was crying the entire time, even my throat was dry. I should I have taken taxi, but it's didn't cross my mine, I was just breaking on those harsh words.

He said once he will protect me....Now look at him, all cold once he is over me!!!

His word are bring me pain at this point.

I felt that again, someone is following me.

I looked back to find no one, I am terrified, I am shaking. Clutching my fingers against my bag, I took fast steps ignoring the pain from burse.

I heard the footsteps getting faster, I looked back in complete terror, I am sweating. I pulled my phone out, I am right around the corner of my house, just few meter and I will be there.

I walked faster dialing Mrs. Silvia's number, her husband would me home, he is police... he will be the fastest to get here...

I heard the footsteps getting faster, I turned back in horror, I felt a hand on my mouth pinning me against the wall in this dark alley way, the phone dropped down, I felt pain on the grip.... the horror increased, the terror rang like bells in my head!!!

I tried to scream as tears strolled down. I looked at that face trying to know who it is. I heard the voice, "How can you ignore me, Vanessa?"

Jaime... My ex...

He said like a psychopath, "I am angry on you now...." He was applying pressure on my neck and mouth. I can't breathe....

The pressure increased.... I can't breathe....

My eyes are blurring out, I saw Jaime getting punched down, He was beaten the next second by someone, I slid down the wall completely giving up....

I heard Jamie's painful voice, but I felt relived, I heard Seth's voice, "Bastard!!!....I will burn you down to ashes!!!"

Seth....

He is here.....

I heard someone else, "Master Morris.... she doesn't look good...." My eyes are giving up.

I felt a pair of hands making me look at him, He was supporting me as I was on the road sitting like lifeless doll.

He said, "Sugar.... look at me... Vanessa!!!...." I recognized his eyes, and I started crying.

I couldn't help, the pain came out, with this fear I encountered today. I am so... so ... scared...

I grabbed into his shirt crying, I felt him embracing me as I was burying my head in his neck.

I heard his stern voice, "I am going to kill him...." I cried more hugging him. These things always take toll on me.

When I regained myself, I was in my room. I looked around realizing this time I am not alone. I saw Seth with me, his hand was in my hair.

He was sleeping beside me, wide awake looking at me. I can see it's still night, maybe I didn't took long to come back to senses.

I hugged him, he didn't stop me but instead he embraced me tighter.

I heard him, "Why you scared when I am here?"

I whispered complaining, "You didn't believe me."

I felt his hand combing my hair, I felt so relaxed. I heard him, "then why I was on time..."

I hugged him tighter, he whispered, "I promised.... I will always protect you, My sugar..."

I was in tears again, I wanted to hear this. He is telling me this then why does he always push me away!

I complained bitterly, "You Abandoned me!!!...."

He whispered, "I thought... I was the danger for you.... but without me... You are always in danger... How will I let you free again?"

After that attack, did he think I was going to die with him?....

That's why he abandoned me?

Seth.. You are insane... You are the only person who will cry on my death, and you are also the person who keeps me safe....Why you think I will be ok without you?

What will I do with this lonely life without you?

I heard him, "Your bed is comfortable...." he close his eyes to sleep.

I pulled him to my face, touching his lips with mine. I kissed him lightly, then pulled away before he could go any further. I saw need in his eyes, I need him too.

I miss him. He got closer to my face again, He was about to touch my lips when I moved my head away.

He whispered my name, "Vanessa..." it acted like a spell.

I whispered, "You said you never loved me....."

He embraced me saying, "If I didn't then.. then why would I do all of this...."

He will not admit those words.

I whispered, "Say it..." My hands went to his neck, he is too dangerous but I like the thrill.

I looked in his deep dark eyes, I asked again, "Babe.... Say it once for me..."

Seth whispered as his forehead touch mine, "I love you..."

My heart was filled with warmth all of a sudden, I was full of new feelings. I felt the happiness I never felt before.

I smiled, I whispered, "Love you more...."

He looked cold all of a sudden, he left my embrace getting up from me. He looks tensed. He was sitting on the bed covering his face. I sat up questioning him.

I whispered, "Seth..."

He turned to me furious, but somehow I knew it was not for me. He whispered, "What if I do the same to you? what if I became like my father?....What if it ends like my parents?"

I felt his distress.

He said further, "I don't want you to end up like my mother..... With a husband she never wanted nor a son like me, whom she never wanted..... Vanessa I will give you the same faith, I am his blood at last...."
