*Meanwhile in Shibuya*

Armed with a tactical Benelli M2, Tanaka along with a couple of patrol cars were attempting to hold the Cybots back from causing any more damage and harming civilians and luckily there wasn't any Sythnoids this time but their current firepower was just barely enough.

"Lieutenant, I'm not sure we can hold out for much longer" a rookie officer said.

"Just make every shot and second count, backup is on the way" Tanaka said.

Just then from the distance, Lincoln arrived on scene and managed to quickly park his bike in front of the patrol cars and hopped off to approach the policemen and the Cybots.

"All units fall back, let him handle this."

"Sorry for the delay but have no fear for I am here *presses button on belt* sword!"

"TELEPORT... SWORD"

Lincoln grabbed his sword and charged straight towards the massive amount of Cybots and one by one he slashed and thrusted his sword through each of them but he underestimated the quantity during this encounter and sees that there's even more Cybots charging towards him even after his fury of sword attacks.

"I should really pick up the pace *presses button* dual!"

"DUEL... SWORDS"

A second sword was then teleported in front of him and Lincoln grabbed it with his other free hand and unleashed a more intense fury of slashes with his double swords and quickly annihilate the army of Cybots within seconds but there was one last bigger wave of Cybots coming after him which gave Lincoln an idea and readied both of his swords.

"Always wanted to this...*exhale*... starburst stream!"

Lincoln then did a horizontal swing from left to right with the right sword and immediately performed an uppercut with the left sword where he then jumped up and slashes a Cybot with both swords from left to right while spinning, twice. Lincoln then landed while facing another Cybot and slashes an X from top to bottom, before inversely slashing the X again from bottom to top. He then leaps at a small group of Cybots and makes two diagonal slashes from the same starting point, with the left sword heading from top to bottom to the left, while the right sword heads from bottom to top toward the right. Lincoln then reverses his grip on the two swords and slashes another X with both swords from top to bottom where he performed a barrel-roll like maneuver while slashing at the target, like a corkscrew and slashes another two X's at the target, first from top to bottom and then bottom to top. He then makes a diagonal slash with the right sword, top-right to bottom-left, then spins left and uses his momentum to deal a horizontal, right to left slash with the left sword where he then, at a very high speed, makes an uppercut with the right sword; then another with the left sword, a downward slash with the right sword, then a downward diagonal slash towards the right with the left sword, spins and repeats the previous attack, and thrusts the right-handed sword out where he did the final slash of a forceful downward lunge with the left sword.

Just like that, all of the Cybots were destroyed in a swiftly manner.

"And that's the end of that."

*Placed both swords in the center of belt*

"RETURN"

Lincoln approached Tanaka as he and the other officers lowered their weapons.

"What's up with that one line before the fight?"

"I like anime and just wanted to have a bit of fun while fight monsters from another dimension."

"Well anyways, we always appreciate the help."

"Anything for a friend."

"Look um are you free right now, there's something personal I wanna talk to you about without the mask."

"I don't mind but I really need to get back but I'll send you a message to you when I'm available to talk."

"Yeah, alright I won't keep you any longer."

"See you later Tanaka."

Lincoln quickly hopped onto his bike and drove off back towards the college leaving Tanaka and the other officers by themselves to handle the rest of the cleanup.

"Sir, what were you talking about with Cyrus?" the rookie said.

"Nothing you should worry officer..."

"Officer Hiroto Aoki sir, I started last week."

"Is this your first encounter with Cybots."

"Yes sir."

"Well get use to it, we'll be getting more of these but be thankful Cyrus is here to help."

*Meanwhile at a distance far away from the scene*

Seras had finish observing the Cybots' fight with Cyrus and has activated the communication device for her regularly report to her mother.

"Seras, report" a holographic projection of Sentria said.

"Cyrus has once again emerge victorious against the army of Cybots and at quicker pace this time."

"I see, no need to worry dearest daughter the king is almost done upgrading his chosen candidate, stay hidden from sight for now."

"Of course mother, Seras out."

The holographic Sentria disappeared and the communication device was turned off leaving Seras to hide within the shadows of where she was observing.

*Meanwhile with Lincoln*

"CANCEL"

*Deformation*

"5 minutes, got to hurry."

Lincoln had managed to arrive back and undo the transformation without anyone seeing him and he quickly rush towards his next and final class of the day and when he got there he see's Riku and took a seat next to her but was out of breath when he sat down.

"Made *pant* it *pant*."

"I honestly thought you'd take longer."

"Guess I'm getting better at this job *sigh* I need to do more cardio."

"Nobody saw you right?"

"No I'm in the clear, anything happened with Usagi while I was gone."

"We're getting along now, that's a start but she has a different class right now."

"Glad to hear it."

The two them then when through their last class and when it was over Riku went back to the base to work on her project while Lincoln went to meet Tanaka, he texted he the location on where to meet which happens to be the cafe Hayate runs.

*Later at the cafe*

"Hey Hayate, did a cop named Tanaka show up I'm suppose to meet him out but I don't know if he came by early."

"Sorry Lincoln haven't seen anyone like that, you can wait at that booth over there."

"Thanks boss."

Lincoln sat down and after 5 minutes, Tanaka shows up and he sees where Lincoln is sitting and sat down across from him.

"I appreciate you making time to meet me, I understand today was your first day of college."

"Don't mention it, so what's going on?"

"I did what you said and I looked up your former family's name online and I found an article about the bad luck incident you experience."

"Oh I see, you want to hear more about what you read about me."

"Mmhmm no person should ever have to go through that especially a child, but there was one piece of information that was left out but I couldn't stop thinking about and if you don't want to talk about it, it's alright I understand."

"What do you want to know?"

"The article mentioned that you tried to attempt suicide but there was no detail of it and as a cop it stuck to my mind."

"Well the article you read was true, there was an attempt but I asked the press to leave the content of it out but I guess it won't kill me to share it with you so listen well, as you know years ago I was kicked out of my family for being called bad luck and it got worse when they thought I was a good luck charm when wearing a squirrel suit and dragged me everywhere they go and to never take it off even in whatever was left of my old "room" or a hot day on the beach or even after I was almost eaten alive by an alligator. I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted and I wanted it desperately to end but I still clinging on to the false hope that one of them would stop and convince the others. One night after being practically tortured in that squirrel suit I was broken so I took it off while everyone was sleeping and took a whole bunch of random pills from the bathroom, mixed them together in a small bottle, and ran off. At the time, I didn't know where I was running to or where I was while running but by the time I did I was in the middle of the park sitting on a bench with the bottle in my hand. My body was still wounded and bleeding from previous injuries that never healed properly, especially from that alligator, and the only thing on my mind was to make it all stop but I don't know something was holding me back, even after everything they did to me I was struggling to gather the strength to chug the bottle of pills and end with with minimum pain and the moment the top of the bottle was touching my bottom lips a voice spoke my name and I saw who it was, my old teacher."

*Flashback*

"... *pant*... *pant*... why can't I do it? Am I really that pathetic that I can't even try to kill myself properly? One or two gulps... that's all it will take... the pain, the agony, the fatigue, it will all stop soon."

Lincoln's body was still struggling to chug the bottle of pills but a familiar voice spoke out when he was so close on doing it.

"Lincoln?"

He turned his head to the left and sees his old teacher, Ms. DiMartino with a concern look on her face.

"What on earth are you doing?"

"... I can't take it anymore... please... don't try to stop me you wouldn't understand what I've been though."

"Then how about you try to explain, I can tell you're struggling but I am here to listen if you let me just put the bottle down."

"...... *slowly lowers the bottle of pills*...... ok."

Ms. DiMartino sat down next to him on the bench as Lincoln explain everything about the bad luck incident and the trauma he's been though and once he finished his story she suddenly hugged him tightly and started to pet his head and comfort him and Lincoln couldn't help but to shed tears as she was holding him.

"It's ok... it's ok... I am here to help."

"I can't do it... I want the pain to stop but I don't want to die."

"Ok, how about I take you to the hospital get have the doctors treat your injuries and call the authorities on your family but I promise you this, they won't hurt you ever again but I need you to trust me Lincoln.

"Ok but why would you go this far for me."

"Believe it or not, I've been though something similar. I had an older brother once but years ago, he was extremely depressed and our family didn't help, just told him to push through it and later on he committed suicide right here on this bench today but back then I wasn't there to comfort him or to stop him but perhaps I can with you."

Ms. DiMartino then stood up and held out her hand waiting for Lincoln to take it.

"If you trust me, I can help you stop the pain and give you a better life without having to kill yourself."

Lincoln was silent and hesitant for a moment but he slowly lifted his arm and held her hand to stand up and the two them left the park and went to the hospital together.

*Flashback ends*

"After that we reported my former family to the authorities and they arrested for child abandonment, child endangerment, child abuse and a couple of other charges and you know the rest but if it wasn't for her, if it wasn't for that single act of kindness and comfort I wouldn't be here today and instead be 6 feet under."

"God, I had no idea it was that bad sorry for making you talk about bad memories like that."

"No it's ok but enough about me, anything new with you or the police."

"Well everyone seems to be on edge with how we can barely hold back Cybots and are worried for when a Synthoid shows up and if you aren't there in time."

"Yeah recently Riku's been working on a secret project since Calcifer came back and had been procrastinating on making new equipment for the police to use against Cybots and Synthoids but I'll talk to her about it."

"Alright, thanks."

"No problem."

*Ring* *Ring*

"Speak of the devil that's her right now... hello?"

"Lincoln-kun, I managed to finally finish my project come over to the base now so that I can show you."

"Ok then *hangs up* I gotta get back to the base, I'll see ya."

"See ya, I should get back to work as well."

*Later at the base*

"Alright Riku, what's this mysterious project you've been working on."

"This."

Riku then activated the hologram table and the computer and the screen shows a high tech digital circle. (Something similar to J. A. R. V. I. S.)

"Good afternoon Lincoln, it's a pleasure to finally meet you" the circle said in a female robotic voice."

"Who was that?"

"Let me introduce you to Ai-chan, an advance A. I. system I've created to assist you both outside and inside combat and she connected to everything. Security, the internet, the base itself, and even your phone and the comms and camera when you fight you name it."

"I'm looking forward to getting to know you better master Lincoln, by the way you currently have 7 blocked calls from "Nikki" should I do something about it?"

"Yeah all calls from Nikki is to remain blocked, I do NOT want to talk to her."

"What the story?"

"She's my ex, I've had 3 breakups in my life and she was the third but worse one and I'm not sharing anymore about that, maybe some other time."

"Ok anyways, I also created a holographic body for Ai-chan check it out."

The hologram table then showed a project of Ai-chan new body, a girl with long blue hair, blue eyes, and wearing a blue and white dress.

"Wonder if you can get a physical robot body you can use Ai-chan."

"Oh that's a good idea, I'll make one."

"I was joking and I kinda need something else made in the meantime."

"What do you need?"

"Weapons and equipment that's mass producible and very effective against Cybots and maybe Synthoids that we can provide to the police and maybe the government."

"Oh yeah, easy I'll have it done by tomorrow after classes."

"Alright, I got to make a call outside."

Lincoln went outside Riku's house and proceeded to call Ronnie Anne.

"Hey sis, how are you doing."

"I'm alright, Sid is staying the night here sitting right next to me and you're on speaker right now."

"Geez, why don't the two of you get married already."

"Maybe one day, what's new with you."

"Well, I shared my past with a good friend today."

"Are you ok though?"

"Yeah, I'm alright but Nikki tried to contact me 7 times today."

"We both know that none of us wants to speak or see her after what she did to you" Sid said.

*Flashback*

"Lincoln I'm sorry, please I can explain" Nikki said.

"Explain what! That you've been using me because you like the way me and family treats you and you want to use me as an ATM or some kind of toy you can have a good time with then throw away later or how you've been seeing else behind my back 2 weeks into whatever our bullshit relationship was!"

"Please, I'm sorry."

"I don't want to hear it, stay out of my life and my family's life. I've been through abuse and all sorts of torture with my old family and the amount of betrayal you committed to me was on the same of those bastards."

*Flashback ends*

"Lincoln? You still there?" Ronnie Anne said.

"Yeah, I'm still here, look I don't want to worry you or the family and you're the most trustworthy person I know but I've kinda been going through something big for a little while but I don't know if I'm ready to tell you."

"Lincoln, I am always here for you, you know that so if there's a secret you're not ready to confess to me it's alright I can wait and I won't tell anymore."

"Same here for me Linc."

"Thanks guys, I gotta go I'll call when I'm ready to confess."

"Bye Lincoln" the two of them said.

*Hangs up*

Lincoln heads back into Riku's house and sees Isuzu and Calcifer in the kitchen.

"Oh hey Lincoln-kun, you finished your phone call" Isuzu said.

"Yeah I did, hey can we talk for a bit in private."

"Oh ok, Calcifer give us the room please."

"Alright alright I'll just see what's Riku's up to."

Calcifer flew towards the base leaving Lincoln and Isuzu alone in the kitchen.

"So what is that I can do for you?"

"I've been thinking on telling my sister and maybe her girlfriend the truth but I don't know how to do it or if I'm even ready to do it."

"That is very tricky, can you trust her?"

"Yeah she's my sister, ever since the incident she has been the one of the most trustworthy people I know and she helped me get through my trauma more times than I can count."

"Then tell her, don't ever let fear control you just have a sit down with her and tell the truth."

"That's gonna be a little hard considering she's on the other side of the world but you're right I need to tell her soon."

"I understand how difficult it is for you and I know you worry about your family getting involved but I will say that it will lift a heavy burden on you even if it's just your sister and her girlfriend."

"I always did have trouble opening up like that because I've been through a lot in my life and end up getting stabbed in the back or afraid that I might but they've become a true family for me even through I'm not related by blood but then again family never ended nor did it start with blood in the first place either."

"Hmm wise words, who told you that?"

"I abridged it from my Abuela or grandma which she got from watching Supernatural."

*Meanwhile in another dimension*

"My lord, how much longer will your chosen warrior be ready" Sentria said.

"I'm almost done with the finishing touches, what's the status on bringing more of our army through the portals."

"I am commencing a couple of tests from the energy the other generals to see if it will stabilize the portals long enough to bring more of our army of Cybots and Synthoids through but even with the amount of dimensional energy they have brought it's not even close to bring half of the army."

"Regardless, everything is going according to plan."

The throne room doors opened up and all 3 generals along with the king's chosen Synthoid candidate; a red dragon-like Synthoid with blue eyes and yellow horns and wearing red full body armor equipped with enhancers that even covers his tail and protects his core in his chest, it also blue and white gauntlets that has long sharp claws at his fingertips and the same goes for his boots as well.

"My lord, he is finally ready for combat" General Willows said.

The Synthoid stepped up and kneeled "Captain Draig, ready to rumble."

"Tell me, what is your mission?"

"To destroy Kamen Rider Cyrus, invade and conquer the earth dimension, and avenge my brother."

"Excellent, gather the troops and prepare yourselves we shall invade in 2 days."

"Yes my lord" all of them said together.

*Meanwhile at the police station*

"Chief, you wanted to see me?"

"I did, close the door."

Tanaka closed the door to the chief's office to give them privacy while they talk.

"I'm not gonna beat around the bush, we need new weapons to defend ourselves from otherworldly invaders do you know when Cyrus will provide them?"

"I've gotten a message from him, he said that his partner will provide a mass producible version of his weaponry tomorrow afternoon and although it's not the same or as powerful as the ones he use it's still significantly powerful compared to what we currently use. They'll supply us a few crates but we'll going have to talk to some government allies to get them massed produced and get more."

"That's great news but there's more I need to tell you."

"What is it?"

"We're getting a new detective who specializes in monsters soon, he'll be here next month."

"A specialist on monsters? Who?"

"I wasn't told the details yet for private reasons or if something happens or if he changes his mind but when he gets here we'll know."

"Well as long as he helps us and Cyrus it shouldn't be a problem."

"Alright then, now go get back to work."

"Yes sir."

*Meanwhile at the central government building*

"Tomorrow afternoon you say?" Kenshi said.

"Yeah, Riku's on fire with the blueprints and trying to make some last minute adjustments and maybe we'll get it done sooner than we think at this rate but I don't really want to jinx it and I really really hate superstition" Lincoln said over the phone.

"I appreciate you informing me about this I can get a team of scientists to study the weaponry and try to improve but there will be boundaries so that we can avoid trust issues."

"Well before you do that, you need to get them replicated and mass produced somewhere safe when they're ready so that everyone is prepared and maybe make my job a little easier, I'm still a college student and today I had to leave for a fight and rush back on the first day of class."

"Yeah I can understand that, we'll work together so that you won't pass out from stress. I'll talk to you later, I gotta report to my superiors and don't worry I'll mention nothing about your identity."

"Alright then, bye."

*Hangs up*

"At this point, we should prepare other projects to prepare ourselves as long we keep everyone in the loop and not betray his trust."

*Knock Knock*

"Come in."

The door opens and Ako comes in with a laptop.

"Oh hey Ako-san, what can I do for you?"

"I just had a meeting with the idiots up top about our partnership with Mr. Loud course I didn't say anything about his identity but they're eager for answers but I managed to get them to approve a new defense project."

"Oh really? What kind of project is it?"

Ako placed her laptop on Kenshi's desk opened up a file on it and showed it to him.

"Project M. E. C. H. aka Mechanically Engineered Cyber Hero, it's a type of advance exosuit equipped with many of the latest technology and weapons that it can use in an instant. I also heard that it's being planned to be equipped with nanotechnology so that the user in question can put it on quickly and fight in a way similar to how Mr. Loud fights."

"That's interesting but can we really get this ready and you can call him Lincoln you know."

"The preparations are already being made and yes I know but I like to act in a professional manner."

"Well, Lincoln's coming here tomorrow to give us a mass producible version of weaponry to use against otherworldly monsters so I guess I can tell him about this when he gets here but I can't guarantee he's gonna like it, he might get the idea that the government's trying to replace him with our own guy."

"I see, I guess when he does come I can be there to explain the details and try to reassure him that's not the case."
