"... WHAT?!" Everyone else said other than Sentria and Orchid.

"My lord, did you know about this?" Graves said.

"I knew about Seras' story but I did not know Orchid was her mother."

*Looks at the other Shadow Reaper*

"We've might have forgotten that she had a daughter but she was still just a baby when we revived her." Faldars said.

"Wait a second, I don't even remember my own mother other than moth- I mean Sentria, I already have a lot on my mind as it is."

"It's alright Seras, we can all take it one step at a time." Ragnok said.

"Look who's talking Lady Ragnok."

"Maybe we should head inside first." Willows said.

"Agreed! I should head back to Earth and do some scouting and clear my head a bit."

"No, you should stay here in the castle for a while." King Nalos said.

"... Of course my lord."

"Don't feel bad my little spider, I'll help you get through this situation." Ragnok said while tightly hugging Seras.

"Lady Ragnok please, not in front of the King and you shouldn't be doing this in the first place!"

"... Sentria." King Nalos said.

"My lord?"

"Tell me what exactly happened between the two of them while we were away."

"Of course my lord."

*The next day with Lincoln*

Lincoln was currently working his shift at the cafe but today was the busiest day for both Lincoln and Hayate but they had experience with large workloads so through effort, they had managed to get through the day.

"Man, what a day but we pulled through." Lincoln said.

"Yeah, your cooking seems to become popular now."

"I'm flattered but I'm not THAT good."

"Speaking of cooking, do you know how to cook other dishes other than what we currently offer on the menu."

"Yeah all kinds of food."

"Think you can make some if I asked you or even teach me."

"Sure but why do you ask?"

"To tell you the truth, before you came here I was debating to shut down the cafe and open up an actual restaurant like the ones in my dreams but I wasn't that good and business was slow so I nearly gave up but when I heard about you and your story and how more people showed up for your cooking, I thought maybe there's still hope for that dream. If you can teach me how to cook like you, I can convert this old cafe into a western restaurant.

"I know the feeling all too well. I don't mind teaching you, hell I can teach you some tips right now but if you convert this place into a restaurant, won't I be out of a job for a while? This place doesn't really have much space."

"I can guarantee you will still have a job and I can help when you need to leave if it's important but you're right I'm gonna need more space but I have enough to get a new place nearby and more if I sell the joint but it might take time to set it all up."

"Whatever you choose to do, I'm with you. You helped me with employment, my secret, and when I need to take time off some it's only fair and right if I help you for stuff like this."

"I appreciate it kid."

"Now then, I still have time before I get back and there's still some ingredients in the kitchen, how about I teach you how to make a simple dish."

"What do you have in mind?"

"... Hmmm... Well given what we have and surprisingly there's some spaghetti noodles... How about a carbonara?"

"That sounds good."

*One cooking montage later*

"Alright that should do it, give it a try."

Hayate takes a look at the dish after taking notes of Lincoln's teaching and grabed a fork to take a bite.

"... This is the best pasta dish I've ever had."

"Well I'm glad you like it because I'm sure you can make the same with some practice. I should head back now, I got to come up with a date plan with Riku for the weekend."

"Ok then. Hope it goes well."

As Lincoln leaves the cafe, he couldn't help but think about Hayate's dream and wondered about how he can help on top of everything else but then an idea came to him and he pulled out his phone to call his Abuela, Rosa.

*Ring* *Ring* *Click*

"Lincoln?" Rosa said.

"Hey Abuela, hope I'm not bothering you at this time."

"Nonsense, you can call me anytime for anything."

"That's great because I need a big favor to ask."

"What is it Lincoln?"

"Do you think you can send pictures of every page from my cookbook, I need it for someone."

"I can but why? Isn't that personal to you?"

"Very but it's worth it, you see my boss Hayate asked me if I can teach him how to cook like I can so he can convert the cafe I'm currently working at into his dream restaurant. He's already helped me out before so I thought it won't hurt to help him and giving him a copy of my cookbook and recipes might help."

"Oh that's very sweet of you Lincoln. Ok I will send over the pictures but it might take a while, it's a big book."

"Even better."

"Oh hey Carl wants to talk to you... What's up Lincoln."

"Hey Cuz, how have you been?"

"I'm great but there's has been one problem recently that I need to talk to you about."

"What's going on?"

"Nikki's been bothering me about getting into contact with you again, I know I'm popular with the ladies but I know better."

"Keep telling yourself that."

"Like you're one to talk."

"Don't make me call Adelaide, remember she can kick both of our asses."

"I know."

"So did you figure out what she wanted from you?"

"Apparently things did not go well for her and she wants to "fix things" with you and try to get back together."

"She can drop dead for all I care."

"That's exactly what I said!"

"We all know how much I hate superstition and luck but karma's a bitch."

"Tell me about it but she won't bothering us until you at least talk with her."

"... I'll think about it. I better go, give everyone else my regards and make sure nobody mess with my baby."

"Yeah, I'll tell them. See ya Cuz."

*Ends calls*

"...... *Sigh*...... Fuck it, best to end this now once and for all."

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring* *Ring* *Click*

"... L-Lincoln?"

"Nikki, I heard you wanted to talk."

"Yeah, I've reflected on my mistakes and I understand that I hurt you the worse way possible. I shouldn't ask but I wanted to see if there was hope to fix things and get back together."

"I'm assuming things did not go well with what's his name?"

"Yeah, he was a bigger bastard that me."

"I understand what you're saying but there's no way I can forgive you. I've moved on and frankly so should you."

"Please Lincoln! After that night when you found out, I was kicked out of my home and was living with him but over time things got more downhill and now I have nothing but regret."

"Then take this as a lesson and start from scratch, maybe try to talk with your parents and prove you changed but you and me, it died long ago. Now, don't try to contact me or my family ever again. Goodbye."

"Wait! One last Thing! How did you move on from that night?"

"... I had real family and friends that supported me and helped me get back up, even now."

"Ok... Goodbye Lincoln and for what's it worth, I'm sorry."

*Ends call*

"... *Sigh*... Damn it."

*Later at Riku's house*

Currently, Ryouma was relaxing and watching TV in the living room while Riku was in the base and Isuzu was preparing dinner.

"Isuzu, do you have any idea what Riku's working on."

"I believe she's working on some kind of vehicle to help Lincoln in battle."

"Is that right?"

The entrance to the base opened up and Riku walked out with a tired expression on her face.

"I'm tired and hungry, what's for dinner tonight?"

"I'm making curry, you're favorite."

"Nice!"

*Ding Dong*

"Who could that be at this hour?"

"... Stay here Riku, I'll check it out." Ryouma said.

Ryouma approached the door and looked out the peephole and sees Lincoln and then proceeded to open the door.

"Hey Lincoln, it's unusual to see you at this hour."

"Yeah, sorry Ryouma but I just... couldn't head back to the dorms and spend the night there after what I've just been through earlier."

"Come on in and we can talk about it."

"Thanks."

*Enters the house*

"Lincoln? Did something happen?" Riku said.

"Kinda, it's a bit of long story."

Lincoln tells them everything about Nikki and how she betrayed his trust that was on the same level of his former family and about his phone conversation from earlier.

"Ok, now I am genuinely concerned for you more than ever. How are you not majorly depressed or having a mental shutdown? I wouldn't blame you for it." Isuzu said.

"I mean, I kind was depressed for a while especially after the bad luck incident but I had good people around me and that helped me get back up."

"I feel like the worst things happens to you considering what you go through. Even now you're risking your own life as a superhero."

"I haven't even told you about my old bully and how I handled him."

"What did he challenge you to a petty fight or something?"

"It's a lot more complicated than that and it's without context but he did and died by my own hands, it's how I got my bullet scar that you saw while I was unconscious."

"... What?!" all three of them said.

"Geez this again, I already told this story with Tanaka."

"Back up a sec, you have a scar of a bullet wound." Ryouma asked.

"Oh yeah, you were at work when I got poisoned by a Synthoid a few days ago."

"You were poisoned, no one tells me this stuff after work."

"Huh? I was under the impression you knew."

After a while, Lincoln told more stories from his past and felt at ease letting his feelings go like that and eventually it was getting late and Isuzu had Lincoln stay for the night on the couch.

*Tomorrow*

Lincoln headed to the police station to meet up with Tanaka for something important but this time he wanted Lincoln to come without transforming.

"Lincoln, there you are."

"Hey, so why'd you want me to come here without transforming in the suit?"

"Yeah sorry about that but there's someone I need you to meet and... he already knows who you are."

"... Whoever this guy is, how does he know? Please don't tell me that you told him."

"Of course not, he's a detective who's a specialist on monsters that transferred here to help with the Synthoids. He's that good of a detective and sworn to never tell anyone who you are and made sure nobody else can find out if they try to investigate your identity of Kamen Rider Cyrus."

"A specialist in monsters? How?"

"Well, that's the part you're gonna like... He's also a Kamen Rider."

"Seriously, you're not screwing with me on this."

"I'm not, let's talk somewhere else. He's waiting in one of the interrogation rooms."

*Enters the interrogation room*

"Lincoln, let me introduce you to detective Ryu Terui aka Kamen Rider Accel."

"Nice to meet you Ryu."

"Likewise Mr. Loud, I've heard many things about you and at least half of them were unpleasant to hear. I know about what happen with your family."

"... Yeah well, I'm trying to move on."

"At any rate, we'll be working together to fight the Synthoids from now on."

"Wait hang on a minute, look Ryu I don't mind that you came here to help but I'm starting to get the impression that people think I can't do this."

"That's not the case, but the higher ups just wants to make sure the people are protected from the attacks. Nobody's stepping on anyone's toes."

"Yeah well I can't help but think that, especially considering how much destruction the Synthoids caused and how much I accidentally caused during the last attack."

"I gotta be honest, there's still some on the force that doesn't trust an anonymous hero."

"Who do they think I am? Batman?"

"While I do think it's stupid the higher ups, higher than the chief, decided take advantage of their resources which included another Kamen Rider within the police." Tanaka said.

"In this case, it's Ryu."

"Correct, there were others but Ryu was the only one available."

"So that's how it is... I suppose I can't fight it, not that I have any reason to."

The three of them then heard a knock on the door and a young woman with brown hair in a ponytail.



"Ryu-sama, there you are. I came by to drop off your lunch but I was hoping we can eat together."

"Oh you didn't have to do that. Gentlemen, let me introduce you to my wife here."

"I'm Akiko Narumi, Chief of the Narumi Detective Office."

"Lieutenant Tanaka Kyano, pleasure to meet you."

"Lincoln Loud, Likewise. So, you're the Chief of a detective office huh? That's an impressive title."

"Yep! Should you need some help, my service is available."

"That's good to know."

"Are you some kind of officer? You're a bit younger."

Lincoln then glanced at Ryu and he shook his head to say "Don't tell her."

"No but I guess I'm sort of a... consult for the police and help out from time to time."

"Oh I see."

"Sorry but I gotta head out, I'll leave you detectives to chat."

"Wait where are you going?" Tanaka said.

"I need to meet up with Kenshi and Ako about something, if you need me just call and I'll be there."

*Later*

While transformed, Lincoln went to meet up with Kenshi, Ako, and Dr. Hunter in the lab but before that, he made a quick stop at the base to get the suit of armor he made with Riku.

"Now I know you guys already spent a lot of time and effort with the weapons I supplied you with but you got to see this, I present to you... the trooper armor."



"So this is what you had planned for the recruits." Kenshi said.

"Yeah, I though it might be a good idea for your men to find a way to defend themselves."

"Look kid, we appreciate the efforts but don't you think it's time to slow down and let us handle stuff our way."

"I did this to make sure I can."

"Fascinating piece of work, I can replicate this into mass production easily given authorization and resources." Dr. Hunter said.

"I can get it for you." Ako said.

"There's another favor I need to ask you guys."

"What is it?"

"At some point I need a safe place to train and test out my new abilities without causing damage to the city."

"I don't know about that but we'll try."

"Great because, I'm gonna be occupied for a while for some personal stuff."

"Take all the time you need kid, we'll handle things from here."

After a few days of handling of various errands errands, the day of Lincoln's date with Riku was now.

"You've been busy these past few days." Riku said.

"Well I had to prepare to this day and make sure everything was handled stress free."

"Is that right? Well you succeeded in keeping your date plan a secret from me, you even manage to avoid Ai-chan from finding out."

"I'm that good."

"Not as good as me, I predicted that my mom would help you out and gave you advice and it just so happens that there is an amusement park around."

"It's still a good idea for a first date."

"Well then let's go."

"This is it Lincoln, don't fuck this up. I won't let my relationship with Riku be like the others." Lincoln thought.
