*Deformation*
"Sorry Ryu but I'm afraid both of them got away."
"Nothing we can do now, we just have to try harder next time."
"They were indeed powerful but the only reason they lost for today is because they underestimated my strength and didn't consider you showing up, thanks for the assistance by the way."
"It's not a problem, it's why I was brought here in the first place."
"Oh that reminds me, do you mind if I ask you something personal."
"Don't ask me questions."
"Ok, sorry."
*Meanwhile in the dark dimension*
Right now, Khan had entered the throne room and kneeled before the King with the rest of the elite Synthoids beside him with the exception of Lady Ragnok, Seras, and Sentria.
"I apologize my lord, but sadly we were forced to retreat."
"Truth be told, this was not unexpected. How is Lady Ragnok doing? I'm aware she was severely injured."
"Yes, she is currently being treated by Sentria and Seras to get her back to full strength."
"Are you sure it's the best idea to get Seras involved in her treatment?"
"Sentria told me that she'll try to knock her unconscious for the whole procedure but no promises."
"I see... enough of that now. What have you learned from this defeat?"
"Not to act careless and underestimate my opponent nor his allies."
"Exactly! I've realized that mere brute force during our invasions is simply not enough, we need to strategize rationally and take time to work our strength. I understand it was not part of what I had discussed or promised you before but I assure you that in the long run, it will return a great reward for each of us."
"We have already discussed this while you were away and has great to stay and fight be the King's side." Faldars said.
"Then I have no say in objection, not that I had one in the first place. What's the plan for our next battle?"
"Based on the intel Seras had provided to me, our next course of action to set up some kind of trap using a random number of innocent humans as bait to lure him in."
"However, we have yet to choose who will be take part for this special assignment." General Willows said.
"This requires someone of specialty, luckily we can acquire one." Faldars said.
"How so? We still have a shortage of regular Synthoids in our army."
"We Shadow Reapers have a unique ability to create specialized Synthoids from scratch given enough time and energy to do a certain ritual."
"Same thing for us Dark Knights." Sir Grim said.
"I never knew, this will help us tremendously." King Nalos said.
"Perhaps we should combine our efforts on creating this new Synthoid, you too Khan if you're not too exhausted."
"There's no need to worry about that. Let us begin the creation of our new Synthoid soldier."
*Meanwhile inside Sentria's chambers*
"Ow ow ow... I get that the healing process may be a bit painful but why can't you give me something to ease the pain." Lady Ragnok said.
"Maybe if you stop forcing yourself on my daughter I might." Sentria said.
"Oh please, I'm not that bad."
"You literally did it in front of everyone, including the King, while we were in a meeting."
"I just couldn't help but to express my love for her... Seras, please help me out." Lady Ragnok said in a playful matter.
"We're not even together like that and frankly, I believe you should stay in pain as a reminder of your careless battle."
"How mean... but I still love you."
"... You really have no shame."
"Regardless, Seras is right. You were careless and underestimated the Kamen Rider. The pain you're feeling now shall serve as a lesson." Orchid said.
"Believe me, I should know. I still remember the pain I felt when the King punished me and broke my extra spider legs."
"Which are still healing due to you working too hard and not enough rest like I told you by the way." Sentria interrupted.
"Mother! I told you that I'm still fine."
"If that's the case, can you take them out without feeling pain?"
"... Only halfway, but I can still take the rest out when I need them."
"No excuses, get to bed and heal properly... now."
"... But."
"Listen to your mother sweetheart." Orchid said.
"We'll still be alive and well when you recover." Lady Ragnok added."
"... Ok... You still don't have to treat me like a child you know." Seras said before leaving the room and retreating back to her personal chambers.
*Back with the rest of the other Synthoids*
In the heart of the castle, an ancient ritual chamber lay hidden beneath layers of stone and shadow. The room, rarely used, was alive with a hum of dark energy. It was here that several of the elite Synthoids, both of the Dark Knights and the Shadow Reapers, gathered to summon a new warrior, a specialized Synthoid forged for a single purpose, to trap Lincoln by any means necessary. The chamber was circular, its walls carved with symbols of an ancient language that was lost throughout time. Torches cast eerie, flickering light across the symbols as their shadows danced, twisting and turning as if alive. In the center of the room stood an ornate altar draped with black silk, atop which lay an intricate array of crystals and metal fragments, raw materials for the creation of their new ally. Faldars stepped forward, his expression one of determination as he addressed the others.
"Today, we craft a new soldier, one tailored to ensnare our enemy. It will take each of us to bring forth this creation, for our power alone will not suffice."
Beside him, Khan nodded, his gaze sharp.
"The Shadow Reapers have the ability to manipulate darkness itself, I will infuse our creation with the essence of shadow to hide its presence from prying eyes."
"And I, as a Dark Knight, will lend it strength and endurance, this Synthoid shall be built to withstand even the might of Kamen Rider's most powerful attacks." Sir Grim added, his voice a low rumble.
Khan held up the same amulet that he and the rest of the Shadow Knights were guarding before.
"Then let us begin. This amulet here is a relic imbued with the remnants of an ancient Synthoid general, long defeated, along with many more ancient and powerful forces. It shall serve as a focus, a conduit through which our combined essence and power will flow."
As the others positioned themselves around the altar, Khan gave the amulet to Faldars who then held it out and began to release dark red energy from it. At once, the symbols on the walls ignited with an unnatural red glow, pulsing with each beat of their power.
"First, we invoke the spirits of the Synthoids who came before us, their will, their strength, their memories, all shall flow into this new form." Lavina said.
Khan reached forward and placed his hand on the fragments of metal on the altar, the raw materials vibrating under his touch. A dark mist seeped from his fingertips, covering the fragments and binding them together in writhing strands of shadow. Lavina raised her arms, channeling her own power and a swirl of pitch-black fog poured from her hands, filling the air with the thick scent of damp earth. The fog curled around the forming Synthoid, sinking into the fragments and granting them the ability to conceal themselves in darkness, as silent as shadows themselves. The shape on the altar began to take form, a humanoid figure, slender but strong, wrapped in layers of dark metal and enchanted smoke.
Sir Grim stepped forward next, brandishing a sword that he conjured up.
"I give you resilience." He declared, driving the blade into the altar's edge.
A shockwave of energy surged from the weapon, rippling across the Synthoid's body, hardening the metal and binding it to withstand immense force. As the Synthoid began to solidify, its eyes flickered to life with an intense red glow. Yet the process was far from complete. It needed a mind, a purpose. King Nalos entered the chamber, his dark presence silencing even the hum of energy. He regarded the nearly complete figure with a satisfied smile, the flickering shadows casting his face in an eerie half-light.
"Our creation needs but one thing more, it needs a mind, a will to obey us, and only us. And for that, I call upon Lady Pyra."
Lady Pyra, reluctantly stepping forward, extended her hand over the Synthoid. With closed eyes, she summoned a wave of her mental prowess, channeling it through her fingertips and into the creature's head. A faint glow appeared within the Synthoid's chest, growing brighter with each second. It throbbed like a heartbeat, echoing through the chamber, resonating with the magic surrounding it.
"I bestow upon you the mind of loyalty." Lady Pyra murmured, her voice echoing within the creature's being.
"You shall serve with unwavering devotion, obeying the command of our king above all else."
With those final words, Lady Pyra released her hold. The Synthoid's eyes glowed brighter, now fully alive, a creature of pure loyalty and darkness, ready to carry out its mission. King Nalos looked upon the creation with pride, his eyes alight with satisfaction.
"Arise, Brimgor! You have been forged for a single purpose, to capture Kamen Rider Cyrus and deliver him to me."
The Synthoid, now fully aware and imbued with the essence of each of the elites, rose from the altar and bowed low before the king.
(I admit, I did use an AI for the image because I've been busy)
"I live to serve!"
The King's smile deepened.
"Perfect. Our trap will soon be set. Prepare yourself, Brimgor, for the moment draws near when you shall prove your loyalty and capture the Rider."
With a final, collective nod of approval, the Synthoids exited the chamber, leaving their new creation behind to prepare for the mission. As the dark dimension's newest soldier, Brimgor's sole purpose was now etched into its very core, to defeat and deliver Kamen Rider Cyrus, a task it would pursue with relentless, unwavering determination.
*Back with Lincoln*
After the fight, Lincoln decided to go to the police station and ask Tanaka for some advice with his situation with the concert and Luna. After explaining the whole thing, Tanaka just sat there for a second trying to process his mind and try to come up with anything useful.
"I admit, this is quite the situation you gotten yourself into."
"Yeah I heard that before."
"This is more than just going to the concert, you have to tell Riku about her and then confront, or avoid, your ex sister. Family wounds cuts deep and leave scars and are tricky to solve... and that's an understatement for you."
"I tried to asked Ryu for advice after the battle but it turns out that he doesn't like to be asked questions."
"... I shouldn't say this but... you could try to ask his wife, she should be around here visiting him."
"Well at this point, every little bit helps."
Lincoln got up and went towards the cafeteria area of the police station and saw Akiko sitting alone and waiting for Ryu, so he took his chance to talk to her.
"Excuse me Akiko?"
"Oh? Lincoln, do you need my help with something?"
"Yeah, can I ask you for some personal advice? It's ok if you don't want to?"
"Nah it's fine, what's up?"
Lincoln recounted his story, leaving no detail out. Akiko listened intently, nodding occasionally, her expression thoughtful.
"Hmmm... let me ask you something, what do you want out of this encounter?"
Lincoln looked down.
"I... I don't know. Closure? An apology? Maybe just a way to move on without running into them unexpectedly. Truth is, I have no idea what am I going to feel after seeing her face-to-face after what she and the others did and after all this time."
"Running isn't the answer, but facing them doesn't mean opening old wounds either. It's about finding a balance." Akiko said firmly.
"Balance huh?"
"Uh huh. You need to decide what's best for your mental well-being, Lincoln. If this meeting will only bring you pain, it's okay to stay on the sidelines, but if you think there's a chance for something positive, even just understanding, it might be worth taking that step."
"... Yeah, you're right. It's a lot to think about but thanks Akiko."
"Of course."
Lincoln then left the cafeteria and went back to Tanaka who was drinking some fresh coffee.
"So, how did it go with Akiko?" Tanaka asked, sitting across from him.
"Better than I expected, she gave me a lot to think about." Lincoln admitted.
"Good. Despite Akiko's personality, she got a knack for helping people see things clearly, but I've gotta ask, what's your game plan now?" Tanaka said, taking a sip of his coffee.
Lincoln exhaled deeply, staring at the police lieutenant.
"I still don't know exactly. I think... I'll tell Riku about Luna. She deserves to know. And as for Luna... I'll play it by ear when I see her."
"Fair enough. Just remember, it's okay to step away if it gets too overwhelming. No one's expecting you to be a hero all the time." Tanaka said with a reassuring smile.
Lincoln chuckled lightly.
"Funny, coming from a guy who works with the police."
"Hey, even heroes and cops need a break."
*Later that evening in Lincoln's dorm*
Lincoln sat on his bed, laptop open, scrolling through emails. Clyde had sent him more information about the upcoming concert, including the itinerary and backstage details. He had forwarded the link to Riku, who hadn't responded yet. Lincoln sighed, his thoughts drifting to Luna again. Memories of her playing guitar in the living room, her infectious laugh, and the way she used to encourage his creativity flooded back. It had been so many years that those memories felt so distant now, almost like they belonged to another life. A knock on the door snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Come in." he called.
The door creaked open, and Riku stepped in. She held her phone, her expression a mix of curiosity and concern.
"I got your message, you want to tell me what's going on?" she said, holding up her phone.
Lincoln gestured for her to sit on the bed.
"It's about the concert. One of the lead singers in the band... Luna. She's my sister."
Riku's eyes widened.
"Wait, one of your sisters that—"
"Yeah, the rocker one that I haven't spoken to since... everything along with my other sisters." Lincoln interrupted softly.
Riku sat in silence for a moment, processing the information.
"I had no idea, can't believe I didn't see it sooner... Are you okay with going?"
"I don't know, but I think I need to. I've spent so long running from my past since the bad luck fiasco, and it's time to face it." Lincoln admitted.
Riku nodded, placing a comforting hand on his.
"Whatever you decide, I'll be there for you. You're not doing this alone."
*Meanwhile in the dark dimension*
Shade Stalker stood motionless in the center of the ritual chamber, awaiting orders. King Nalos circled the new Synthoid, his expression one of satisfaction.
"You understand your mission?" the king asked.
"Yes, my lord. Capture Kamen Rider Cyrus and bring him to you alive." Brimgor replied, its voice an eerie blend of metallic and human tones.
"Good. Faldars, ensure our new warrior is equipped for the task. I want no mistakes this time."
"As you command, my king," Faldars said, bowing deeply.
Lady Pyra stepped forward, her gaze locked on Brimgor.
"Be wary. The Kamen Rider is no ordinary foe. Underestimating him would be your undoing."
Brimgor turned its glowing red eyes to her.
"I am not programmed to underestimate."
Pyra smirked.
"Let's hope that holds true. Just in case, I'll be tagging alongside with Seras to observe."
"Very well..." the king said.
As the night deepened, Brimgor emerged from the shadows of an alleyway through a portal , scanning the streets for its target. Programmed with precision and cunning, it moved unnoticed among the crowds, its dark form blending seamlessly into the urban backdrop. The Synthoid had one objective, locate and trap Kamen Rider Cyrus. Unbeknownst to everyone, Pyra had a separate objective and that involves Seras.
*The next day*
The city was alive with the glow of neon lights and the chatter of evening crowds. Lincoln strolled down the main plaza, his mind occupied by the looming confrontation with his sister at the concert. His thoughts were interrupted by a faint, ominous hum that sent a shiver down his spine. A dark mist began to spread across the plaza, dimming the vibrant lights. Civilians paused, confused, their chatter dying down to uneasy murmurs. Lincoln's instincts flared as a figure emerged from the mist, a humanoid form clad in dark armor that seemed to absorb the light around it, its glowing red eyes locked onto him.
"Kamen Rider Cyrus, I am Brimgor. Surrender peacefully, and no harm will come to these people." The figure hissed, its voice a blend of metal and malice.
Lincoln's hand tightened into a fist.
"Yeah right, if you want me, you'll have to go through me."
Brimgor raised an arm, and tendrils of shadow shot out toward the bystanders. Lincoln put on his belt and leaped into action, transforming mid-air.
"Henshin!" he shouted, his armor materializing in a flash of energy.
"LETS GO... CYRUS"
*Transformation in mid-air*
Brimgor charged, its movements a blur of speed and precision.
*Presses button*
"Sword!"
"TELEPORT... SWORD"
Lincoln barely managed to deflect the initial strikes with his blade, the clash of metal echoing through the plaza. Shadows danced around them, striking out at civilians as Lincoln scrambled to shield them.
"Get to safety!" he shouted, deflecting the shadows to protect a fleeing group.
Brimgor exploited the distraction, landing a heavy blow that sent Lincoln skidding across the pavement. Lincoln rolled to his feet, gritting his teeth as he tighten the grip on his sword, launching himself that momentarily surprised his foe. The two clashed again, their movements a blur as Lincoln struggled to keep up. Brimgor's attacks were relentless, each strike more calculated than the last. Lincoln countered with bursts of agility and ingenuity, using the environment to his advantage. He vaulted over benches, redirected attacks into lampposts, and used his sword to shield civilians. The sound of a motorcycle engine roared through the chaos. Lincoln glanced up to see Ryu arriving on his sleek bike. The seasoned warrior dismounted with fluid precision, his sword drawn and and his belt already on.
"You didn't think I'd let you handle this alone, did you?" Ryu said with a confident tone.
*Pulls out Gaia Memory*
"ACCEL"
"Hen... shin!"
*Inserts Memory and revved the belt's throttle*
"ACCEL"
*Transformation*
Together, the two Riders engaged Brimgor. Ryu's precise swordplay complemented Lincoln's raw determination, their synergy forcing the Synthoid on the defensive. Civilians continued to flee, the Riders ensuring their safety while trading blows with their relentless adversary.
*Meanwhile on a rooftop*
Lady Pyra and Seras observed the fight from atop a building. Pyra's lips curled into a sly smile as she glanced at Seras, who was focused on the battle below.
"Quite the spectacle, wouldn't you say?" Pyra asked, stepping closer.
Seras didn't look away.
"They're strong, but Brimgor is smarter than he looks."
Pyra leaned against the ledge, her eyes studying Seras.
"You have such a sharp mind, always analyzing, always watching. I admire that."
Seras glanced at her, raising an eyebrow.
"Thanks, I guess."
Pyra's smile deepened as she subtly activated her unique powers of charm and hypnosis, her voice dropping to a soothing, almost musical tone.
"You know, Seras, you deserve someone who truly appreciates your brilliance. Someone who can make you feel... special."
Seras blinked, her expression momentarily dazed.
"What are you—"
Before she could finish, Pyra gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Just imagine, a life where you're cherished, adored, and free from distractions like Lady Ragnok's behavior." Pyra whispered, her charm magic weaving its spell.
Seras felt that something was happening to her but Pyra's power was too strong and her willpower was not enough to resist but gave in instead.
"You know... you may be right. Truth be told, I'm just realizing how charming and... beautiful you are." Seras said under Pyra's influence.
Pyra's grin widened, her victory clear. She stepped closer, brushing a strand of hair from Seras's face.
"I'm glad you see it, from now on, you'll never need to question where you stand or who you stand with. You'll always have my undivided attention." Pyra murmured.
Seras nodded, her mind clouded under Pyra's spell. Below them, the battle between the Riders and Shade Stalker raged on, but for Pyra, her triumph in this quiet, intimate war was far sweeter.
*Back with the fight*
The plaza became a battleground, illuminated by flashes of energy and the eerie glow of Brimgor's red eyes. Lincoln and Ryu moved in sync, each attack flowing into the next as they tried to overwhelm their opponent. Brimgor snarled, its shadow tendrils whipping out in all directions, forcing the Riders to split their focus. Lincoln leaped onto a nearby bench, using the height advantage to launch a downward slash at the Synthoid, but Shade Stalker sidestepped with inhuman speed, countering with a powerful kick that sent Lincoln sprawling.
Ryu seized the opportunity, revving his belt's throttle on the left side.
"ACCEL... MAXIMUM DRIVE"
After charging up the right throttle to a point, Ryu is engulfed in orange flames and then he executes a jumping spinning heel kick slicing through the shadowy tendrils and forcing Brimgor to retreat momentarily.
"Lincoln, we need to corner him!" Ryu shouted, his tone urgent.
Lincoln nodded, gripping his sword tightly.
"Got it! Let's box him in!"
The two Riders advanced, their movements coordinated as they drove Brimgor back toward a wall. Civilians scattered to safety as the fight grew more intense.
"CHARGED"
Lincoln charged up his energy around his sword again, launching a focused blast that struck Shade Stalker square in the chest. The Synthoid stumbled, but only for a moment.
"You're resilient, but you cannot defeat me." Brimgor hissed, its voice dripping with contempt.
With a guttural roar, Brimgor summoned a massive wave of shadows, engulfing the area. Lincoln and Ryu were forced to defend themselves, their armor sparking as the dark energy crashed against them. Lincoln gritted his teeth, barely holding his ground.
"This guy's tougher than he looks!"
Before Ryu could respond, Brimgor lunged, striking with brutal force. Lincoln blocked the blow but was sent skidding backward, his boots scraping against the pavement. With a roar, the Synthoid unleashed a surge of shadow energy, knocking both Riders off their feet once again. Just as Shade Stalker prepared to deliver a finishing blow, a loud noise suddenly cut through the darkness from the edge of the plaza, a futuristic hum of a motorcycle followed by a confident voice.
"Hey! Picking on two Riders isn't very fair, is it? Let's make this a three-on-one."
Lincoln and Ryu turned to see Aruto arriving, his Zero-One Driver already strapped to his waist.
"Aruto?!"
"Hey Lincoln, let's show this guy what teamwork looks like!" Aruto said, his upbeat energy infectious.
"Who are you?"
"Aruto Hiden... Kamen Rider Zero-One"
He then pulled out the Rising Hopper Progrise Key and pressed it.
"JUMP... AUTHORIZED"
"Henshin!"
The Progrise Key slotted into the belt, and a golden holographic grasshopper materialized around him, forming his sleek armor in a burst of energy.
"PROGRISE... JUMP UP AND RISE... RISING HOPPER... A JUMP TO THE SKY TURNS TO A RIDER KICK"
*Transformation*
Aruto leapt into action as Zero-one, landing between the Riders and Brimgor. His arrival tilted the odds, and the three Riders moved as one, launching a coordinated assault. Aruto's speed and agility allowed him to dart around Brimgor, delivering precise kicks that disrupted its attacks. Ryu focused on heavy strikes to wear the Synthoid down, while Lincoln provided support, using his sword and rapid attacks to create openings. Brimgor snarled, its shadows writhing as it struggled to fend off the relentless barrage. Lincoln struck high with his sword, Ryu aimed for precise strikes at its core, and Aruto unleashed rapid, acrobatic kicks that kept Brimgor on the defensive. Shade Stalker roared in frustration, slamming the ground and summoning a surge of dark tendrils that lashed out in all directions. The Riders dodged and counterattacked, their movements seamless as they adapted to the Synthoid's escalating power. Aruto activated his finisher.
"RISING IMPACT"
Aruto then delivered a devastating kick that first launched the Synthoid into the air with an upward kick that created an energy projection of a grasshopper leg at the same time. He then jumps into the air and kicks the enemy downward. As Brimgor falls toward the ground Aruto performs a final flying kick with an energy construct of a robotic grasshopper extending from his foot and breaks through part of Brimgor's armor. Ryu followed up with another Maximum Drive, while Lincoln pressed the switch on his belt to activate his finisher and channeled his full energy into his foot.
"ACCEL... MAXIMUM DRIVE"
"FINAL STRIKE"
"RISING IMPACT"
The combined attack of the three Kamen Riders' final kicks sent Brimgor reeling, but it wasn't enough to bring him down. Panting, the Synthoid glared at them, its red eyes glowing brighter.
"You're stronger than I anticipated... but I am not done yet!"
Brimgor raised its arms, manipulating the fleeing civilians with shadow tendrils to form a shield. The Riders froze, their attacks halted by the Synthoid's cruel tactics.
"No!" Lincoln yelled, his voice filled with desperation.
Aruto stepped forward, his voice calm but resolute.
"We can't let him win, but we can't risk the civilians."
Brimgor took advantage of their hesitation, retreating into the shadows with a sinister laugh.
"Until next time, Riders!"
The mist dissipated, leaving the plaza eerily quiet. Civilians began to gather their bearings, murmuring thanks to the Riders as they regrouped. Lincoln panted, his armor battered but his resolve unshaken.
"He used the civilians to escape..."
Aruto placed a hand on his shoulder.
"We'll get him next time. The important thing is that everyone's safe."
Ryu stepped up, his expression grim under his helmet.
"We can't let him keep pulling stunts like this. Next time, we will end it."
The three Riders stood in the aftermath of the battle, their determination burning brighter than ever as they prepared for the challenges ahead.
*Meanwhile with Seras and Pyra*
At the moment, Lady Pyra is still using her abilities on Seras' mind to influence her for her own personal reasons. Seras' eyes were glassy and filled with adoration. The sharp, analytical edge she once wielded was dulled, her thoughts clouded under Pyra's spell. She was no longer the spider Synthoid who had acted as a scout and spy for the king and who had somehow caught Lady Ragnok's attention. Now, she was Pyra's, utterly and completely. As Pyra took Seras's hand, her fiery eyes gleamed with satisfaction. Below them was the result of the battle, the Riders fought valiantly, their struggle a testament to their willpower and strength. But for Pyra, none of that mattered.
"You know, you deserve so much more. Always unappreciated and always used as something less than a person... Let me show you what I can do... for you dear..." Pyra whispered, her voice like a melody that danced through Seras's mind.
"W-Wait, what are you-"
"Shhh Shhh, it's alright. Don't fight me Seras, you know you don't want to."
"I... I don't know..." Seras murmured, her voice trembling.
"Heh heh, you know... to me, you're beautiful too."
"R-Really? I-"
Before she could respond, Pyra's hand gently touched her arm, her fingers warm against Seras's skin. It was a simple gesture, yet it sent a strange, soothing sensation coursing through her. Pyra's eyes glowed faintly, their fiery hue mesmerizing. Both of Seras' body and mind refused to respond or resist. Pyra's magic was subtle yet potent, a web of charm and hypnosis weaving around Seras's thoughts, dulling her resistance. Seras's vision blurred slightly with Pyra's enchanting presence while her heart raced, not with fear, but with a strange, overwhelming warmth. Pyra smiled, triumphant, as she leaned in closer.
"And... you... are... mine..." Pyra whispered.
She then sealed her claim with a kiss that left Seras utterly spellbound. When the kiss broke, Seras's expression was one of pure adoration, she was now pliant and devoted, her will bent entirely to Pyra's.
"What now?" Seras asked, her voice soft and eager to please.
Pyra ran a hand through Seras's hair, her smile predatory yet affectionate.
"Now, you stay by my side. Together, we'll achieve greatness. And no one, not Lady Ragnok, not the Kamen Riders, not anyone, will take you from me."
Seras nodded, completely enthralled.
"Whatever you say, Pyra. I'm yours."
As they stood together on the rooftop, the remnant of the battle from before in the distance, Pyra couldn't help but revel in her victory. The game had just begun, and with Seras at her side, she knew she held a powerful piece in her hand.
"Come, let's leave this chaos behind. We have much to discuss, you and I." she said, her voice laced with authority and affection.
Seras nodded again, following Pyra without hesitation, her heart and mind entirely captivated. The cool air was still as Lady Pyra basked in her triumph, Seras standing by her side with a glassy, adoring gaze. The city below seemed a world away from the quiet, private moment they shared. Pyra ran her fingers along Seras's cheek once again, reveling in the power she held over her new prize.
"Soon, my dear, you'll see me as your world." Pyra whispered, her voice dripping with satisfaction.
But her words were cut short by a sharp, commanding voice that echoed across the rooftop.
"Unhand her, Pyra."
Pyra's head snapped up, her expression twisting into a scowl. Standing at the edge of the rooftop, silhouetted by the moonlight, was Lady Ragnok. Her crimson armor gleamed ominously, her blade resting casually over her shoulder, but her piercing gaze was anything but casual.
"You've gone too far this time!" Ragnok said, stepping forward.
Beside her emerged two other figures, both with their sights set on Seras. Orchid, Seras's biological mother, moved with an elegance that belied the fiery rage in her red eyes, her delicate features were framed by silken black hair, and her gold armor glinted menacingly in the moonlight. Sentria, Seras's adoptive mother, followed, her serpentine movements as fluid as her red cloak covered her form and horns, one of them broken, on her head, her piercing yellow eyes locked onto Pyra with cold calculation with the snake Synthoid's magic staff was in her hands, ready to strike. Pyra's fiery eyes flickered with annoyance as she stepped protectively in front of Seras.
"Well, well. The motherly brigade plus one has arrived. Should I be flattered that it took three of you to interrupt my moment?"
"Release her from your spell, Pyra. You've violated every boundary, and now you'll pay the price." Orchid growled, her spider legs extracting from her back.
Seras stood behind Pyra, her expression conflicted but still under the spell.
"Mother? What... are you doing here?"
"You'll understand soon, my sweet. We're here to save you." Sentria hissed, her voice smooth and soothing despite the tension.
Pyra scoffed, fire flickering at her fingertips.
"Save her? From what? A life where she's actually appreciated? You three had your chance to be someone who cares about her, and you squandered it. Seras is mine now."
Lady Ragnok's patience snapped.
"You don't know anything."
With a war cry, she lunged forward, her blade cutting through the air. Pyra blocked the strike with her own fiery sword, the clash sending sparks flying. Orchid and Sentria moved in tandem, attacking from either side, forcing Pyra to backpedal as she deflected their blows. The rooftop became a battleground. Ragnok's brutal strength clashed against Pyra's fiery ferocity. Orchid's swift and precise strikes were countered by Pyra's blazing defenses, while Sentria's magic lashed out, forcing Pyra to constantly adapt.
"You're all so predictable, do you think you can take her from me? She doesn't want your protection anymore." Pyra snarled.
Flames then surged around her as she unleashed a wave of fire that forced her opponents to scatter.
"Seras, fight it! You're stronger than this!" Orchid called, dodging another fiery strike.
Seras hesitated, her hands trembling as she watched the fight unfold.
"I... I don't know... Pyra said she cares about me."
"She's manipulating you! We've always cared for you. Don't let her poison your mind." Sentria hissed, her staff creating a mic whip snapping around Pyra's wrist and pulling her off balance.
Pyra growled, breaking free of the whip and summoning a wall of flames to shield herself.
"Nice try, but Seras belongs to me now!"
Lady Ragnok charged through the flames, her blade glowing with energy as she slashed at Pyra. The fiery Synthoid barely deflected the strike, the force sending her skidding backward.
"Stay out of this! She's mine!" Pyra roared, her flames intensifying.
"You've underestimated us, and you've underestimated Seras." Ragnok countered, her voice steady.
At those words, all eyes turned to Seras, who stood frozen, her gaze darting between her mothers, Ragnok, and Pyra. The conflicting emotions in her chest were suffocating. Pyra's spell still held sway, but her mothers' voices reached the part of her that longed for clarity.
"Seras, we love you. We've always loved you. I know I wasn't there in life since you were a baby but please, don't let her take you away from us." Orchid said softly, her tone pleading.
Seras wavered, her heart racing.
"I... I don't know what to do..."
Pyra's expression darkened.
"Don't listen to them. Orchid abandoned you, Sentria hurt and used you, and Ragnok doesn't care for you like me. I'm the only one who truly sees you for who you are."
But as the fight raged on, Seras found herself questioning everything. Her glassy eyes began to clear, her sharp mind reawakening. The battle between Pyra and the two mothers and one obsessed one-sided crush reached its climax, flames and steel colliding in a brilliant display of power. Seras watched, her breathing quickening as she struggled to break free of Pyra's hold.
"Seras, trust yourself, you're stronger than her spell. You always have been. You were strong enough to ignore me and the king's order to protect me from the Kamen Rider, you're strong enough to break the spell." Sentria urged, her voice cutting through the chaos.
For the first time, Seras took a step back from Pyra, her mind fighting to regain control. Pyra noticed immediately, her fiery eyes narrowing.
"No, no, no! Don't leave me. You're mine, remember?" Pyra growled, abandoning her fiery assault to grab Seras's hand.
But Seras's hesitation was enough for Ragnok, Orchid, and Sentria to regroup. With a final, coordinated strike, they knocked Pyra onto the floor, flames dying out around her as Orchid held the sharp end of her spider legs at Pyra's neck. When the rooftop finally fell silent, Seras collapsed to her knees, her mind reeling. Ragnok and Sentria rushed to her side, while Orchid stood guard, at the ready in case Pyra tried to get back up again.
"It's okay, you're safe now" Ragnok whispered, extending her hand out towards Seras.
Seras looked up at her mothers, tears welling in her eyes but to everyone's surprise she swiped Ragnok's hand away.
"Back off!"
"Seras, we just-"
"Just shut up for one second!"
Seras then got up and swept away the dust off her blue clothes before angrily staring back at the group.
"I don't even know who I can trust anymore. *Points at Orchid* I was just a baby when you put me in the care of Sentria when we thought you died but was instead revived deep underground to guard some amulet. *Points to Sentria* You did your best to raise me with care but somehow things changed in a way once the new elite Synthoids showed up. *Points to Pyra* You literally hypnotised me into loving you against my own will. *Points to Ragnok* And lastly, you never appreciate my own personal space when I keep telling you that I wasn't looking for a relationship and your 'love' for me and methods of expressing it are very inappropriate! So please, LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Seras then flashstepped to disappeared out of sight leaving the four Synthoids alone on that rooftop and running off to clear her head within the shadows of the city with no specific destination in mind. The city's streets were quiet, the distant hum of traffic and faint flicker of neon signs casting eerie glows over the desolate alleys. Seras's breath came in short, sharp gasps as she darted between buildings, her mind spinning. Her legs carried her on instinct, her thoughts a tangled mess of anger, betrayal, and confusion. She finally stopped on a rooftop overlooking the city's bustling core. The cold wind whipped against her face, and she sank to her knees, clutching her head. Flashes of the battle, Pyra's touch, Ragnok's and her mothers' pleas swirled in her mind like a storm she couldn't escape.
"Why? Why can't they just let me be?" she whispered to no one in particular, her voice hoarse.
Her chest heaved as she fought the wave of emotions threatening to consume her. The warmth of Pyra's spell still lingered, a sickening reminder of how easily she'd been manipulated. And yet, the words of her mothers echoed just as strongly. They had fought for her, risked everything to bring her back. But could she trust them?
"They all want something from me. Even when they say they care, it's always about what I can do for them. Who's ever just wanted me for... me?" she muttered bitterly, her nails digging into the rooftop's rough surface.
She shivered, pulling her knees to her chest. The city lights below blurred as tears filled her eyes. For the first time in years, she felt utterly alone. No Pyra, no Ragnok, no Orchid, no Sentria. Just Seras, and the weight of everything she'd been through.
*Back with the other Synthoids*
The air was thick with tension. Lady Ragnok paced angrily, her blade now sheathed but her hands clenched into fists. Orchid and Sentria stood nearby, watching her warily.
"This is your fault, If you hadn't abandoned her as a child—" Ragnok growled, rounding on Orchid.
"Hey I was going to die, how was I supposed to know that the Shadow Reapers were going to resurrect me and keep me there to guard that amulet!" Orchid retorted.
"Enough, she made mistakes, yes and so have I , but you're hardly blameless. Your obsession with her pushed her away just as much as anything I did." Sentria snapped, her voice cold and sharp.
Orchid then stepped between them.
"Arguing won't bring her back. She needs time. We all failed her in different ways. Now we have to figure out how to fix it."
Ragnok let out a frustrated growl, but she didn't argue. Instead, she turned her glare toward Pyra, who was slumped against the far wall, her fiery aura diminished but not extinguished. Orchid's spider legs still hovered threateningly close to her throat.
"You're lucky we don't end you right here, if you ever go near her again..." Ragnok hissed.
Pyra laughed weakly, her voice dripping with defiance.
"She'll come back to me. You can't give her what she needs. None of you can."
Orchid's eyes narrowed, her hand twitching as if she wanted to strike. But Sentria's hand on her shoulder stopped her.
"She's not worth it, let's focus on finding Seras before you hurt herself." Sentria said quietly.
With a reluctant nod, Orchid retracted her spider legs and stepped back. Pyra smirked but didn't move to follow as the three Synthoids turned their backs on her.
*Later with Seras*
Several hours passed as Seras wandered the city, her thoughts still a whirlwind. Eventually, her steps brought her to a spot in the shadows and recognized a familiar enemy, she had happened to stumble upon Lincoln walking back to his dorm far in the distance unaware of her presence. The rest of the Synthoids didn't even know what he looked like without his armor and Seras only recognized him from her earlier scouting missions. She knew she would get in trouble again with the king if she didn't try to fight him or at least make things harder for him to fight but for some reason, she decided not to do that this time. Instead, she planned to talk to him peacefully.
*With Lincoln*
Since the battle with Brimgor, Lincoln and the others have been trying to track him down before he could bring harm to any more civilians but no results so far. For now, Riku told him to go get some rest for now but his train of thought was interrupted when he heard land behind him. He turned around and looked up to see Seras on top of a lamp post and immediately reached back to grab his belt.
"Wait wait, please I'm not here to fight. I come in peace."
"Is that right?"
Seras then jumped down and met her eyes with Lincoln's and raised her hands up.
"I only wish to talk. I'm unarmed and alone, if you wish to keep your guard up or transform you may. No tricks."
Lincoln studied her for a long moment, his hand hovering near his Driver. Finally, he relaxed slightly, though his guard remained up.
"You've got my attention. What do you want?"
Seras hesitated, then said softly.
"To figure things out. Can we talk somewhere more private?"
The walk to Lincoln's dorm was tense but quiet. Neither spoke, their unspoken truce fragile yet Lincoln made sure nobody saw her on the way. Once inside, Lincoln closed the door and motioned for her to sit. She hesitated before perching on the edge of Lincoln's bed, her posture stiff. Lincoln leaned against the wall across from her, his arms crossed.
"Alright, start talking." He said.
Seras exhaled shakily, her gaze fixed on her hands.
"I don't know who I can trust anymore. Everything feels... wrong. The battle, Lady Pyra, my mothers... even Lady Ragnok. I'm being pulled in so many directions, and I don't know which one is right."
"Back up, I'm a bit familiar with Ragnok but I don't know who everyone else is."
"Lady Pyra is one of the Dark Knights like Lady Ragnok, a group of elite Synthoids that were sealed away before, and somehow she caught feelings for me but decided to use her hypnosis and charm powers to make me fall in love with her. Ragnok is also obsessed with me but she is so clingy since she first met me and has been trying to find ways to express her feelings and already assumes that we're already in a relationship. My adoptive mother Sentria is someone I deeply care about but it suddenly seems that she changed a bit now that things are serious with our battle with you and with all these new elite Synthoids around. My biological mother Orchid left me in the care of Sentria after she technically died but she was then resurrected by the Shadow Reapers, another group of mysterious elite Synthoids, and was forced to stay with them inside some underground chamber and guard some amulet with a mysterious and ancient power but I don't know the whole story with her."
Lincoln's expression softened.
"Ok... Go on, start from whatever's comfortable for you to start."
Encouraged by his calm demeanor, she began to spill everything from Pyra's manipulation, the harassments on her by Ragnok, and the conflict within her about her mothers' intentions. She admitted her fears, her doubts, and the growing realization that she didn't know what she truly wanted. Lincoln listened intently, his eyes unwavering. When she finally stopped, her voice hoarse from speaking, she looked up at him, searching for judgment or anger. But all she saw was quiet understanding.
"That's a lot to deal with, I can't say I've been through the exact same thing but I have gone through something similar and believe me I do have my own share of drama with both family and relationships, but it sounds like that like me, you're carrying more than anyone should have to on their own." He said finally.
She nodded, her voice barely above a whisper.
"I just... I don't know what to do. They all say they care about me, but it feels like they only care about what I can do for them. Yet here I am, talking to my kind's mortal enemy about my problem."
"Hey I was kinda forced into this the first time with that black dragon guy and you guys keep attacking us."
"Still, that king is definitely going to rip off my spider legs if he finds out."
Lincoln leaned forward slightly.
"Well either way it sounds like you need to figure out what you want, not what they want, not what they think you should do. Just you."
Seras blinked, his words striking a chord deep within her.
"But... what if what I want hurts them?"
"Sometimes, doing what's right for yourself means making hard choices, but if they really care about you, they'll understand. Maybe not right away, but eventually." Lincoln said gently.
Her gaze dropped to her hands, her mind racing. His words made sense, but the idea of putting herself first felt alien. Yet, for the first time, it seemed like something she needed to learn how to do.
"I don't even know where to start." she admitted softly.
Lincoln smiled faintly.
"Start small. One step at a time."
She looked up at him, a flicker of hope in her eyes.
"Thank you, Cyrus. I... I didn't know you were so wise."
He shook his head.
"Na it's alright. You're stronger than you think, Seras. You'll figure this out. Just give yourself time. Oh and also, my real name is Lincoln not Cyrus."
"Wait seriously? Everyone in my dimension thought that was your actual name."
"No but I would appreciate it if you keep that under wraps."
"... You know what, sure."
For the first time in what felt like ages, Seras allowed herself to relax, if only a little. As they continued to talk, the weight on her chest began to lift, replaced by a faint sense of clarity. She wasn't alone anymore, and that was enough to keep her moving forward, one step at a time.
*Later that night*
Seras lingered in the shadow of a rooftop, staring down at the quiet city streets. Her conversation with Lincoln played on a loop in her mind. His words had resonated deeply, but they also left her with questions she didn't know how to answer. For so long, her path had been dictated by others: Ragnok's obsession, her mothers' expectations, and Pyra's manipulations. Now, for the first time, she felt the faintest pull to decide for herself. But what did she truly want? A chill breeze cut through the night, bringing with it the faint hum of a Synthoid scout. Seras tensed and slipped into the shadows, her eyes scanning for the source of the noise. Sure enough, a small flying magic eyeball hovered nearby, its red iris glowing ominously, and Seras recognized the eye as one her mother's, Sentria's, magic spells. They're already looking for her. The thought was both sobering and infuriating. Getting rid of the eyeball would buy her time, but it would also alert her mother and the others to her defiance. Instead, she slipped through the alleys, using her agility and knowledge of the city from earlier reconnaissance missions to outmaneuver the eyeball. As the eyeball drifted away, Seras exhaled in relief, her resolve hardening. If Sentria was sending her own scouts after her, it wouldn't be long before something worse followed. She needed to act and come to a decision on what to do next, and fast.
Seras leaned against the cool brick wall of a narrow alley, catching her breath. The faint red glow of the magic eye faded into the distance, leaving her momentarily in peace. She clenched her fists, her mind racing.
"Why can't they just let me go?"
Her frustration boiled beneath the surface. Sentria's scout wasn't just a warning; it was a reminder of the control her mothers still held over her. Pyra's manipulations and Ragnok's feelings were one thing, but this? This was personal. Seras pushed off the wall and began walking, her steps light but deliberate. She needed a plan. Lincoln's words echoed in her mind.
"Figure out what you want, not what they want, not what they think you should do. Just you."
But what if what she wanted didn't fit into anyone's plans? The thought sent a shiver through her. For so long, her decisions had been shaped by survival or obligation. Sentria and the other generals had trained her as the king's scout and spy as a member of the king's army, and her mother had wanted her to rise above that. But no one had ever asked her what she wanted, or if they had, she'd never truly answered and things used to be so simple before everyone else arrived.
*Meanwhile at Lincoln's dorm*
Lincoln sat at his desk, tapping a pencil against his notebook as he stared at a crude sketch of his own manga panel to distract himself from Shade Stalker and Seras.
"I should really save up for a tablet."
A sharp knock at his window broke his concentration. Lincoln tensed, quickly sliding the notebook into a drawer, he wasn't ready for anyone to see his prototype manga yet. He glanced at the window cautiously, his hand brushing against his Driver, just in case and saw Seras hanging right outside the window like Spider-man.
"You're back..." he said, unlocking the window and stepping aside to let her in.
Seras slipped inside, her movements quick and quiet.
"I'm sorry, I know we're supposed to be enemies but I didn't have anywhere else to go," she admitted.
Lincoln shut the door behind her, leaning against it as he crossed his arms.
"What happened?"
"My adoptive mother sent one of her magic scouts after me. They know I'm on the run."
"It's not as if you betrayed your entire kingdom, you just want to avoid your mothers, Ragnok, and Pyra for a bit."
"I know but I really don't want them to find me for a little while until I'm prepared and ready to face them myself."
Lincoln's brow furrowed.
"And you came here? That's risky."
"I know, but I didn't have a choice. I needed to figure things out, and I couldn't do that with them breathing down my neck." Seras said, her tone sharp.
Lincoln nodded slowly, gesturing for her to sit.
"Alright. What's the plan?"
Seras hesitated, her hands gripping the edges of the chair.
"I don't know yet. I'm tired of running, but I'm not ready to face them. Not like this."
"You think they'll come here?"
"There's no way, I'm kinda the only Synthoid that even knows what you look like without the armor so I doubt anyone will expect me to go to you. They probably think I'm hiding in the slums or somewhere I can blend in."
Lincoln sighed, running a hand through his hair.
"You're putting yourself in a lot of danger for someone who's not sure what they want."
Her gaze snapped to him, her eyes flashing.
"Do you think I don't know that? Every decision I've made so far has been about surviving one more day along with other goals. For once, I just want to make a choice because it's mine. But I don't even know where to start."
The anger in her voice softened, and she looked away. Lincoln walked over and sat on the bed across from her.
"Then start here. What do you want to happen next? Truth be told, listening to an enemy about their problems is one thing but letting them hide in my dorm room is another."
The question hung in the air, heavier than she expected. What did she want? Finally, she looked up at him, her expression resolute.
"I want to stop running. If they want to find me, fine but I won't go back to being a pawn or just some puppet in whatever relationship they want me in. Not for Ragnok, not for my mothers, and not for Pyra. And as for you, despite us being enemies you helped me out so how about a small deal."
"A deal?"
"Yeah, I know you're still trying to find Brimgor so if you let me hide here for just tonight then I'll track him down to you and find a way to expose a weakness."
Lincoln nodded.
"... Alright fine we have a deal, but screw with me on this and I'll defeat you too."
*The next day*
By the time Lincoln had woken up in the morning, Seras was already gone and left a note saying that she was going to fulfill her end of the bargain. It's been a couple of hours since then and right now Lincoln's currently training in the simulation arena in the base while Riku was upstairs doing chores, he was attempting to find an opening for a hologram version of Brimgor that was created from the data from the previous fight but then the simulation was turned off by a press of a button from Ai-chan in her android Humagear body.
"Clearly you're getting used to your Humagear body."
*Removes disk and presses button*
"CANCEL"
*Deformation*
"I apologize sir but you've been at this for a while now and I believe it's time for you to take a break."
Lincoln sighed, taking off his Driver and setting it aside. His body was sore from hours of relentless training, but he hated leaving things unfinished. He glanced at Ai-chan, who stood with her usual calm yet insistent demeanor.
"You're probably right, Ai-chan, but I can't afford to slack off. Shade Stalker's too unpredictable." he admitted reluctantly, rubbing the back of his neck.
Ai-chan tilted her head, her synthetic eyes analyzing him with precision.
"Pushing yourself to exhaustion will not increase your efficiency. A tactical retreat to recover your strength is sometimes the most effective strategy."
Lincoln gave her a tired smile.
"You sound like one of those motivational posters."
Her lips curved in a slight, mechanical smile.
"If it motivates you to rest, then the statement serves its purpose."
He chuckled and grabbed a towel to wipe the sweat from his face. As he took a seat in front of the main computer, he couldn't help but wonder where Seras was and how she planned to track down Brimgor. It had been hours since she'd left, and the uncertainty gnawed at him.
"I wonder if she'll follow through on her promise? Her resolve seemed genuine, though her motives remain complex. Trust, once extended, is a risk. However, I highly doubt that there's going to be some kind of alliance any time soon." he thought to himself.
"Sir, is there something on your mind?"
"Nothing you should worry about."
Before Ai-chan could respond, a chime echoed through the base, signaling an incoming alert. Ai-chan turned toward the console, her movements precise and fluid. She pressed a button, and the screen flickered to life, displaying Seras on a rooftop with the message "Come here Cyrus" painted on the floor. Her expression was tense, but there was a hint of determination in her four crimson eyes.
"Yeah there's definitely no way to become allies." Lincoln thought.
"Shall I contact the other Riders?"
"No, do not tell anyone about this. In fact, erase this footage and hide this from Riku, I'll handle this."
Lincoln then hopped onto his bike and drove out of the base through the tunnel doors and the second he left Riku had entered the base.
"Hey Ai-chan, did something happen? I heard an alarm."
"There's no need to worry miss, Lincoln-sama just needed to handle some business."
"You wouldn't be lying to me would you?"
"Of course not. I am programmed to help."
*Later*
"Lincoln, I found him." Seras said, her voice steady but urgent.
"Brimgor?"
She nodded.
"He's holed up in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Looks like he's finding ways to strengthen his own power and even gathering a large amount of Cybots and embedding them with his energy so that they last longer in battle for something big. I couldn't get too close without being spotted, but I've got a solid location."
"Did you see anything else? Weapons, defenses?"
"Not much, but there's definitely some heavy defense in there. He got his hands on some surveillance and defense technology that was sent here in advance but some of it is a bit outdated so I don't know if it can handle his energy for long. Whatever he's planning, it's not good or at least to humans."
Lincoln clenched his fists, adrenaline starting to course through him.
"Alright, I will handle it from here. I'll let you do whatever you wish regarding your situation."
"Lincoln, this isn't going to be easy. Brimgor's dangerous, and don't forget he beated three Kamen Riders."
"We were more worried about civilians back then, but this time we don't have to worry about that and go all out."
Seras then flashstepped leaving Lincoln alone on the roof before he went back to where he parked his bike while calling Ryu and Aruto asking for support and telling them the intel he had just gotten without saying a word about Seras or how he got it.
*Later*
By the time Lincoln arrived, the warehouse loomed ominously in the distance, its windows glowing faintly with an eerie blue light. He parked his bike behind a row of overgrown bushes and scouted the area. The heavy presence of Cybots patrolling the grounds was immediately evident. Moments later, Ryu's bike pulled up beside him, and Aruto arrived shortly after. The three Riders gathered behind cover to strategize.
"Cybots everywhere, looks like they're powered up. This won't be easy." Ryu observed, peeking through binoculars.
Aruto clenched his fist, his usual cheery expression replaced by determination.
"Doesn't matter how strong they are. We'll take them down."
Lincoln nodded.
"Brimgor's in there and an all-out frontal assault wouldn't work. If we take out his core defenses first, we can isolate him. I'll create a diversion to draw the Cybots away from the warehouse entrance. Ryu, you take out the external generators powering the defenses. Aruto, once the path is clear, you head inside and find Brimgor and we'll fight him together. Oh and take these communicators just in case."
"Got it," Ryu said with a nod.
"Let's do this!" Aruto added, his usual energy back in his voice.
Lincoln transformed into his Rider form and with a burst of energy, he leapt over the bushes and charged toward the Cybots, his weapon drawn.
"LETS GO... CYRUS... TELEPORT... SWORD"
"HEY, OVER HERE!" he shouted, slashing through the first wave of Cybots with precise strikes.
The machines turned their attention to him, their glowing eyes locking onto their new target. Meanwhile, Ryu skirted the perimeter, sticking to the shadows as he searched for the generators. His motorcycle-themed armor glimmered faintly in the moonlight as he approached his target.
"ENGINE... MAXIMUM DRIVE"
He unleashed a couple of slashes with his engine sword and destroyed the first generator with ease. Inside the warehouse, Brimgor watched the commotion on a monitor, his lips curling into a smirk.
"So, the Riders have come to play. Prepare to intercept. We're not done yet." He turned to the enhanced Cybots behind him.
Aruto, meanwhile, slipped into the warehouse through a side entrance, moving quickly and quietly. He scanned the area, taking note of the heavy machinery and glowing containers filled with unstable energy. As Lincoln fought off wave after wave of Cybots, the warehouse suddenly went dark, the hum of its defenses silenced by Ryu's efforts. Lincoln grinned under his helmet.
"Nice work, Ryu."
Aruto's voice crackled through the comms.
"I've got eyes on Brimgor. He's not alone, he's got a new type of Cybot with him. You guys better hurry."
Lincoln dispatched the last Cybot in his immediate vicinity and made a beeline for the warehouse. Ryu joined him at the entrance, both Riders nodding to each other before rushing inside. Inside the warehouse, Brimgor stood at the center of the room, his dark armor gleaming under the flickering light of the remaining machinery. Beside him stood a singular towering Cybot, larger and more menacing than any they'd encountered before.
"You Riders never learn, do you? This is the end for you." Brimgor taunted, his voice echoing through the space.
Lincoln, Ryu, and Aruto stood shoulder to shoulder, their determination unwavering.
"We're not the ones who'll be ending today." Lincoln shot back, throwing his weapon aside..
With that, the three Riders charged forward, ready to face whatever Brimgor had in store.
"Calcifer!" Lincoln shouted.
Calcifer then burst in through the ceiling and flew into Lincoln's hand who then inserted him onto his belt. Meanwhile, Ryu pulled out a blue gaia memory with a "T" symbol and it's attached to a mini horizontal traffic light while Aruto pulled out a shiny gold progrise key with a gold grasshopper that says "Shining Hopper" and then all three of them proceeded to change their current forms.
"UPGRADE... FIRE... LETS GO... FIRE... BURNING EXPLOSION"
"TRIAL... *COUNTDOWN SOUND FOLLOWED BY AN ENGINE SPEEDING*"
"SHINING JUMP... AUTHORIZED... PROGRISE... THE RIDER KICK INCREASES THE POWER BY ADDING TO BRIGHTNESS... SHINING HOPPER... WHEN I SHINE, DARKNESS FADES"
*Synchronize transformation*
(Too lazy to write the details of the transformation, just seach it up on youtube)
The Riders stood ready, their eyes locked on Brimgor and his towering Cybot. The dim light of the warehouse flickered, casting shifting shadows across the battlefield. Lincoln cracked his knuckles, Ryu's fists clenched, and Aruto's stance brimmed with determination. The Cybot was the first to move. Its heavy metal frame shook the ground as it charged, its glowing fists smashing through crates and machinery like paper. Lincoln darted forward using his flames as a boost, narrowly avoiding a swipe from the Cybot's massive arm. With a quick step, he closed the distance and struck at its knee joint with a flaming punch, sparks flying from the impact.
"Ryu, cover me!" Lincoln shouted.
Ryu sprinted into action, delivering a flurry of rapid punches to the Cybot's torso, his strikes were faster than before and were reverberating through the air. The Cybot retaliated, swinging its arm in a wide arc. Ryu ducked just in time, the swing missing him by inches.
"Aruto, now!" Lincoln called out.
Aruto leapt high into the air, flipping over the Cybot's head with precision. He delivered a powerful kick to the back of its neck, causing the machine to stumble forward. The Cybot roared, its glowing eyes narrowing as it recalibrated its stance. Brimgor, meanwhile, watched from a distance, his arms crossed.
"Impressive teamwork, but let's see how you handle this." he muttered, stepping forward.
With a dark energy-infused leap, Brimgor joined the fray, his claws crashing against Lincoln's armor while he defended with flame-infused fists. Sparks erupted as contact was met, the force of the clash reverberating through the warehouse.
"You should've given up when you had the chance." Brimgor growled, pushing Lincoln back with a surge of strength.
Lincoln gritted his teeth, planting his feet firmly.
"Like hell we will!"
He raised one of his fists, deflecting Brimgor's next strike and countering with a swift flaming punch across his opponent's chest. Brimgor staggered but quickly recovered, his movements growing more feral. He swung his arm in a vicious arc, forcing Lincoln to retreat. Meanwhile, Ryu and Aruto focused on the Cybot. Ryu dashed around its lumbering frame, landing precise strikes to its joints, while Aruto targeted its exposed circuits.
"Ryu, keep it distracted!" Aruto yelled, sprinting toward a stack of machinery.
Ryu nodded, delivering a powerful roundhouse kick that sent the Cybot stumbling backward.
"Hurry it up, Aruto! My defense is a bit lowered in this form!"
Aruto jumped to higher ground, timing his movements carefully. As the Cybot turned to face Ryu, Aruto launched himself from the top of the machinery, landing directly on the Cybot's head. With a mighty punch, he struck its core, causing the machine to falter.
"It's not down yet!" Ryu warned as the Cybot regained its balance, its glowing eyes burning brighter.
Back at the center of the room, Lincoln and Brimgor continued their duel, each strike faster and more intense than the last. Brimgor unleashed a surge of dark energy, forcing Lincoln to leap back.
"Your resolve is admirable, but resolve alone won't save you." Brimgor sneered, his voice dripping with mockery.
Lincoln's eyes narrowed.
"It's not just about me. It's about stopping you."
"Lincoln switch now!" Calcifer said.
"Got it!"
He then pulled out Alexander and swapped Calcifer on the belt with him.
"UPGRADE... ARMOR"
*Presses button*
"LETS GO... ARMOR... INVINCIBLE ARTILLERY"
*Transforms into his armor mode*
Lincoln then fired his missiles and then his cannon at Brimgor which stunned him a bit and then he charged forward and punched him with his super strength and pushed him back. Ryu and Aruto joined him, regrouping after weakening the Cybot. The three Riders exchanged a brief glance, their unspoken understanding clear. Together, they charged at Shade Stalker, their coordinated strikes overwhelming him.
"Enough!" Brimgor roared, summoning a wave of dark energy that threw the Riders back a bit except for Lincoln who barely moved.
The Cybot advanced, its heavy footsteps shaking the ground, but the Riders were ready. Lincoln, Ryu, and Aruto moved as one, combining their attacks in a flurry of strikes that overwhelmed the Cybot.
"I'll finish it this time!" Lincoln shouted.
*Presses switch*
"FINAL STRIKE... ARMOR"
Like before, Lincoln's weapons then detached itself from his body and reassembled into a super weapon and began charging up its energy at the end of the barrel.
"Rider blast!"
Lincoln fired his super weapon at the Cybot and with one final blow, the machine exploded into a shower of sparks before the super weapon disassembled and reattached itself on Lincoln's body, leaving only Brimgor standing.
The Riders turned their full attention to him, their exhaustion replaced by determination.
"This ends now," Lincoln declared, leading the charge.
*Replaces Alexander with Calcifer and presses button again*
"UPGRADE... FIRE... BURNING EXPLOSION"
*Transform back into his fire mode*
Brimgor fought fiercely, his dark energy clashing against their combined might. But the Riders' teamwork proved too much. Blow after blow pushed him back until, with one final, devastating attack, they struck him down. Shade Stalker fell to his knees, his armor cracked and smoking with a clear crack on his crystal core. He glared at them, his voice a low growl.
"You think this is over?"
Ryu stepped forward.
"It's over when we say it is. Allow us to show you the true power of Kamen Riders"
Aruto then removed his Trial gaia memory and flipped the mini traffic light up and pressed a button to start a timer. He then threw the timer in the air and ran towards Brimgor at high speed and proceeded to perform a series of multiple kicks in the face, core, and chest in a row that was so fast that the momentum of his kicks started to create an illuminating "T" shape. Meanwhile, Aruto pulled out his "Rising Hopper" progrise key and placed it multiple times on his belt to activate his finishing attack while Lincoln pressed the switch on his belt to do the same once again.
"FINAL STRIKE... FIRE"
"BITRISE... BYTERISE... KILORISE... MEGARISE... SHINING MEGA IMPACT"
With one last upward kick, Ryu launched Shade Stalker high in the air and then caught his gaia memory in his hand and stopped the timer at 9.7 seconds.
"TRIAL... MAXIMUM DRIVE"
At that point Aruto delivers high-speed punches and kicks that also created yellow holographic versions of Aruto right before the attack to Brimgor while in the air before launching him with an upward kick. Aruto continues to deliver a barrage of punches and kicks before performing a final flying kick covered in yellow energy that creates a blue energy emblem of circuitry and bursts through the Synthoid.
"SHINING MEGA IMPACT"
From there, Lincoln's body was engulfed in fire before he jumped high in the air while the flames around him manifested into the shape of a phoenix before performing a flaming flying kick at Shade Stalker's core shattering it and blowing up his body in the process.
"Rider phoenix kick!" Lincoln shouted.
By the time they landed on the ground, Brimgor was destroyed and reduced to ashes in a fireball explosion behind them.
"And that's the end of that."
"9.7-byo, sore ga omae no zetsubo made no taimu'da!" Ryu said. (Translate: "9.7 seconds, that's the time left until your despair.")
"Hai, Aruto ja naito!" Aruto said. (Translate: "Now that was the work of Aruto!")
