The next day Lincoln, Riku, and the band were spending time together around town and talking about recent events.
"So what happens to you guys now considering how your ex manager was fired and arrested." Riku asked.
"Well we unfortunately cancelled our upcoming concerts around Europe but it's ok, we decided to stay in Japan for a little while." Chunk said.
"You know, I had know idea you knew someone within the police force like that." Sam said.
"Oh yeah... He's a friend and... we help each other sometimes."
"How so?"
"Uh... He's a... regular at the cafe I work at." Lincoln lied.
Sam raised an eyebrow at Lincoln's answer but didn't press the issue.
"Man, I gotta visit that café sometime if you've got connections like that."
Lincoln chuckled nervously.
"Yeah, uh... it's got its perks."
He quickly changed the subject.
"So, with the concerts canceled, what's the plan? Just sightseeing, or are you guys gonna work on new music?"
Luna stretched her arms behind her head, looking out at the bustling Tokyo streets.
"A little bit of both, bro. Honestly, it's nice to take a breather for once. Tour life can be crazy, you know?"
Sam nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, and Japan's got such a chill vibe. We were thinking of hitting up some local venues, maybe do some small gigs to stay sharp."
"That sounds awesome, Tokyo's got an amazing underground music scene. I can show you guys a few spots if you're interested." Riku said.
Chunk gave a hearty laugh.
"Sounds like a plan, man. We could use a guide who actually knows where they're going."
Lincoln smiled, feeling a sense of relief now that Valerie was out of the picture and the band could move forward on their own terms. Still, his mind lingered on how close they had come to disaster. He'd have to stay vigilant, there were always people out there looking to take advantage of others and he's been through that the hard way. As they walked through the busy streets, the group stopped at a food stall, ordering some takoyaki and chatting about their favorite moments on tour.
"You know, this whole thing with Valerie... it made me realize how important it is to have people you can really trust around you." Lincoln said between bites.
Luna nudged him playfully.
"And thanks to you, bro, we figured it out before it was too late."
Sam smirked.
"Yeah, who knew you'd be such a detective?"
Lincoln laughed, brushing it off.
"Hey, I just did what any good brother would do."
As the day went on, they explored the city, visiting temples, trying out new foods, and even hitting up a local arcade where Riku challenged Lincoln to a round of fighting games, naturally, Lincoln won. By the time evening rolled around, the group found themselves relaxing at a scenic park, taking in the Tokyo skyline.
"You know, even though things didn't go as planned, I think this might be the break we needed." Luna said softly
Lincoln nodded.
"Sometimes, taking a step back helps you see things more clearly."
Sam smiled.
"Yeah. And hey, as long as we have each other, we'll figure things out."
Riku clapped a hand on Lincoln's shoulder.
"You've got some great people around you, man. Hold onto them."
Riku kissed him and Lincoln smiled.
"I plan to."
As they sat there, watching the city lights twinkle, Lincoln felt at peace. For now, everything was okay, but deep down, he knew life always had a way of throwing surprises. And when the time came, he'd be ready. Out of nowhere, a deafening explosion echoed through the air, shaking the ground beneath them. The group whipped their heads toward the source, thick black smoke billowed from a distant street, followed by the faint sounds of screams and sirens.
"What the heck was that?" Luna gasped.
Lincoln's eyes widened.
"Oh no... not a time like this."
His instincts screamed at him, he knew exactly what was happening. Without hesitation, he turned and bolted toward the scene.
"Lincoln, wait!" Luna called after him, but he was already too far gone.
Weaving through the crowded streets, Lincoln's mind raced but here was no time to think, innocent people were in danger.
Arriving at the scene, his worst fears were confirmed. The monstrous forms of Lady Ragnok and Lady Pyra, two of the elite Synthoids within their ranks, were wreaking havoc. Cars lay overturned, storefronts were shattered, and terrified civilians fled in every direction.
"You can't run forever, Rider!" Pyra, her body emanating waves of heat, smirked.
"Let's finish this our previous battle!" Ragnok yelled, her
Lincoln didn't hesitate. In a single motion, he grabbed his driver, slammed it onto his waist, and inserted the disk in the middle.
"CONFIRMED... CYRUS"
*Plays standby theme as Lincoln does his pose*
"Henshin!"
*Presses button*
"LETS GO... CYRUS"
*Transformation*
In a flash of light, his armor materialized around him and he stood firm as Kamen Rider Cyrus. He didn't have time to worry about who might be watching, he charged forward, throwing himself into the fray. Lincoln landed a powerful kick against Pyra, sending her stumbling back, but Ragnok retaliated with a crushing blow to his side, sending him crashing through a parked car.
"So we meet again!"
As Lincoln groaned and struggled to get up but remains determined.
*Presses button*
"Sword!"
"TELEPORT... SWORD"
As his sword manifested, he grabbed it and got into his fighting stance.
"Round 2 Ragnok!"
"Bring it!"
Meanwhile in the distance as they fought, Luna, Sam, Riku, and the rest of the band were hiding behind a corner when they saw Lincoln transformed.
"L-Lincoln...?"
Luna froze, his heart dropped a bit and her eyes wide with shock and disbelief.
"H-He's... a Kamen Rider?" Sam stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
"...Yeah... but I'll explain later, you guys need get out of here, now!" Riku said.
"Wait, what about you and Lincoln?" Luna asked.
"I need to stay and assist Lincoln by studying the enemy and give advice through the comms in his helmet, as for Lincoln... he'll be ok, he's been through these kinds of fights before and worse. But you need to go now!"
Luna hesitated for a moment, but seeing the urgency in her eyes, she nodded.
"Be careful."
She grabbed Sam's arm, urging the others to leave, though they kept glancing back in awe. Back with Lincoln, with a burst of speed, he dodged Ragnok's next attack and countered with a devastating punch, sparks flying from the impact. He had to finish this quickly before anyone else got hurt.
"Finally, no more running, Rider. Tonight, you burn." Pyra sneered, her voice dripping with dark amusement.
Lincoln tightened his grip on his sword, feeling the heat radiating from Pyra even from a distance.
"I'm only going to say this once. Get out of my city."
Pyra laughed, her fiery aura flaring.
"YOUR city? Oh, sweetie, you're just a bug we're about to squash!"
With no time for banter, Lincoln launched himself forward, his sword arcing in a flash of orange. Ragnok met him head-on, their weapons clashing with a deafening clang that sent sparks cascading through the air. The force of their impact shattered nearby glass, and the forceful shockwave pushed cars away. Lincoln grunted, pushing back against Ragnok's relentless strength. He ducked under a wide horizontal slash and retaliated with a spinning kick to her midsection, but it barely phased the armored Synthoid.
"Too slow!" Ragnok snarled and slammed her fist into his chest, sending him skidding across the cracked asphalt.
Lincoln groaned, feeling the impact rattle through his bones, but before he could regain his footing—
*WHOOOOSH!*
A stream of searing fire erupted from Pyra's outstretched hands. Lincoln barely managed to roll aside, the flames licking at his armor, causing it to glow red-hot for a split second before he put it out.
"Not bad, but let's see how long you can keep dodging!" Pyra taunted, sending another fiery blast his way.
Lincoln reacted fast, pressing the button on his belt.
"Dual!"
"DUAL... SWORDS"
A second sword manifested and Lincoln held both swords in his hands, ready to unleash a fury of attacks. Lincoln crossed his twin swords in front of him, channeling his energy as Pyra's flames surged toward him like a roaring inferno. With a swift slash, he cut through the fire, dispersing it into harmless embers. Without missing a beat, he charged at Pyra, his swords flashing like streaks of lightning. Ragnok lunged to intercept him, her massive axe swinging downward in a brutal arc. Lincoln twisted his body mid-air, barely evading the strike as the axe carved a deep gouge into the asphalt beneath him. Landing smoothly, he immediately countered, his blades a blur as he unleashed a rapid flurry of strikes against Ragnok's armor. Sparks erupted with each impact, forcing her to stagger back under the relentless assault. Pyra, seizing the opportunity, launched herself forward, flames coiling around her fists.
"Let's turn up the heat, Rider!" she cackled.
Lincoln barely raised his swords in time to block her fiery punches, but each hit sent searing pain through his armor. He gritted his teeth, feeling the intense heat pressing against him, melting through his defenses bit by bit. With a forceful push, he shoved Pyra back and spun around, striking her with the flat of his sword, sending her crashing into a nearby car that exploded on impact.
"That all you got?" Lincoln panted, sweat dripping from beneath his helmet.
Pyra staggered to her feet, flames still flickering around her body.
"I'm just getting warmed up."
Ragnok roared and charged again, swinging her axe with devastating power. Lincoln ducked under it, his instincts screaming as the blade whooshed over his head, slicing through a lamppost behind him. Before he could retaliate, Ragnok delivered a powerful kick to his chest, sending him flying backward into a storefront window, glass shattering around him. Lincoln groaned as he pulled himself up from the debris, his body aching from the relentless onslaught. He tapped the side of his helmet, activating his comms.
"Riku... Where's Calcifer!"
Riku's voice crackled through the speaker.
"He'll be here very shortly but you need to separate them! Together they're overwhelming you. Focus on one, create an opening."
Lincoln nodded, his mind racing. He couldn't keep up with both of them at once, he needed to be smarter, not stronger. Pyra and Ragnok advanced again, their synchronized attacks forcing him on the defensive. Lincoln parried a downward axe strike, ducked under a fire blast, and rolled to the side, trying to reposition himself.
"Alright, time to break you two apart." Lincoln muttered, gripping his swords tighter.
Almost in an instant, he dodge an attack and positioned himself behind Ragnok, delivering a powerful dual-slash across her back. She stumbled forward with a grunt, separating slightly from Pyra.
"Now's my chance!"
Lincoln rushed toward Pyra, unleashing a rapid series of slashes, keeping her on the defensive. His swords moved like a whirlwind, striking with precision and forcing her to retreat further away from Ragnok.
"Not so tough without your friend, huh?" Lincoln taunted.
Pyra growled, flames surging around her fists as she threw a desperate punch. Lincoln sidestepped, twisting his body and delivering a powerful spinning slash that sent Pyra crashing through a nearby bus stop. He turned just in time to see Ragnok charging at him with a furious roar. Lincoln planted his feet firmly, crossing his swords in an X-shape.
"Bring it!"
Ragnok swung her sword with all her might, but at the last second, Lincoln pivoted, using her own momentum against her and driving his knee into her gut, forcing her back again. With both enemies now separated, Lincoln took a deep breath, his grip tightening.
"Alright... now I can finish this."
Pyra staggered to her feet, flames dancing in her eyes, while Ragnok cracked her knuckles, ready for another round. Lincoln dropped his swords aside and pressed the button on his belt again.
"Shotgun!"
"TELEPORT... SHOTGUN"
As soon as his shotgun manifested in his hands, Lincoln removed the disk from his belt and inserted on the shotgun and pumped it.
"CHARGED"
A ball of energy begin to manifest at the end of the barrel and quickly compressed together when it was completely charged up and Lincoln pulled the trigger shooting a compressed blast of energy. Ragnok attempted to reflect the attack with her broadsword with Pyra behind her but Lincoln's attack was more powerful and created an explosion on impact and completely destroying her sword and some pieces of her armor and since Pyra was behind her, she was caught in the explosion as well.
"It's been a while since I used that."
Ragnok was weakened but remains standing and Pyra begins to emit heat and fire to show that she still has strength left.
"I won't let this be like our last battle!" Ragnok said.
"Calm down Ragnok... remember, we need to work together to prove to Seras that we can get along." Pyra said.
"... Right."
At that moment, Calcifer finally arrived above Lincoln.
"You're late."
"I know, I'm sorry ok but I'm here now."
"Alright, lend me your power!"
Calcifer decedent down towards Lincoln's hand, he then grabbed Calcifer and inserted him on the belt.
"UPGRADE... FIRE"
*Presses button*
"LETS GO... FIRE... BURNING EXPLOSION"
*Changes form to Fire Mode*
Pyra then unleashed a blast of fire towards Lincoln but she didn't know that while Lincoln is in his Fire Mode, he can absorb fire for more power so he just stood there taking the full effect of the attack with no damage until she finally stopped realizing her mistake.
"What?!"
"... That was a mistake."
Lincoln then attacked Pyra with his own powerful fire blast and Pyra wasn't anywhere near as fireproof as Lincoln and was knocked back. Ragnok managed to get up and conjured up longsword so Lincoln picked up one of his swords and charged forward. The two clashed swords once again but Ragnok's weakened state gave Lincoln the upper hand and managed to knock her down to one knee.
"Take this!"
Lincoln attempted to land one final attack aimed at Ragnok's core but his sword was stopped by some kind of trident and both of them see that it was Lady Satvar that intervened. Lincoln's jumped back while unleashing a flaming slash towards Satvar but she blocked the fire attack with a large barrier of water from her trident, Lincoln analyzed his opponent, her weapon and her ocean blue armor and he can see that she wasn't alone with three other Synthoids following behind her. Pyra and Ragnok immediately recognized them.
"Lady Satvar, Sir Grim, Sir Zakros, Sir Aries!" Ragnok yelled.
"Hello Lady Ragnok, it appears we've showed up right in time." Zakros said.
"... Where's Lady Pyra?" Sir Grim said.
"Right here." Pyra said as she got up from her injuries.
"Hmph! You should be honored Cyrus, you are now facing the full force of the Dark Knights of the Synthoid army!" Satvar said.
The six members stood fierce and Lincoln knew that he was obviously outmatched.
"Riku, call everyone who can help and get them here asap. There's no way I'll be able to fight off six elite Synthoids by myself at once." Lincoln said through the comms.
"Already did, plus I'm bringing in something that might help even the playing fields a bit but try to slow them down a bit."
"... I'll try."
*Presses button*
"Dual"
"DUAL... SWORDS"
Lincoln prepared his dual swords as Zakros decided to be the first to strike.
"Allow me to take first pick... Cybots! To me!"
A large quantity of Cybots appeared from dark matter on the ground and they charged forward with Zakros following behind them. However as he charges, Lincoln saw that Zakros multiplied himself with 5 additional copies of himself.
"He can clone himself?" Lincoln thought.
Lincoln then immediately removed his disk and inserted on one of his swords.
"CHARGED"
Both of Lincoln's swords ignited with intense flames, the fiery energy swirling around them like twin infernos. He tightened his grip, his eyes darting between the approaching Cybots and the six identical Zakros clones charging at him with their curved scimitars.
"Alright... bring it," Lincoln muttered under his breath, his stance firm.
The Cybots reached him first, their mechanical limbs swinging with brutal precision. Lincoln slashed through the first wave with a powerful sweeping strike, the fire from his blades consuming them instantly in a burst of molten debris. But the Zakros clones were fast, weaving through the chaos with deadly intent and their arm blades ready.
*CLANG! CLANG!*
Lincoln parried the first strike from one of the clones, only for another to flank him from the side. He barely twisted in time to block, but the sheer number overwhelmed him. One of the clones managed to graze his armor, sending sparks flying. Lincoln retaliated with a flaming cross-slash, dispersing two clones in a fiery explosion, but more remained.
"Damn, how many of these guys did he make?" Lincoln grunted as he dodged another scimitar swing.
From a distance, Satvar watched with a smirk, her trident pulsing with water energy.
"Don't let up, Zakros. Overwhelm him."
Lincoln knew he couldn't let the clones pin him down, so he focused some of the energy he still had from absorbing Pyra's attack all over his body. In a burst of fire, Lincoln shot forward, flames trailing in his wake as he cut down several more clones, dispersing them into black mist. He slid to a halt, panting slightly as only the real Zakros remained.
"Nice trick, too bad it wasn't enough." Lincoln taunted, pointing his flaming sword at Zakros.
Zakros smirked.
"You're sharper than I thought, but you're not sharp enough!"
Suddenly, from behind, Grim leapt forward with his massive twin scythe aimed at Lincoln's head. Lincoln barely raised his swords in time, but the impact sent him skidding backward. Grim's deep voice echoed through his helmet.
"You're already dead. You just don't know it yet."
Lincoln narrowed his eyes.
"Yeah? Not today."
Before Grim could strike again, Lincoln launched himself back into the air, spinning mid-air and slashing a wave of fire down at him. Grim deflected it with a spin of his scythe, but the force was enough to push him back. Just as Lincoln landed, Aries charged in next growing his fists in size, smashing into the ground, creating shockwaves that nearly knocked Lincoln off balance. The sheer force sent cracks splintering across the pavement.
"He's strong!" Lincoln thought, ducking under another powerful punch.
Aries was relentless, his brute strength overwhelming, but Lincoln was faster. He rolled under another punch and slashed at Aries' side, his flaming sword barely denting the Synthoid's thick armor. Meanwhile, Satvar raised her trident high, summoning a massive surge of water that spiraled around her. She thrust it forward, sending a tidal wave racing toward Lincoln.
"Time to cool you down, Rider!"
Lincoln reacted fast, slamming the button on his belt.
"Shield!"
"TELEPORT... SHIELD"
Lincoln barely managed to block in time, his shield colliding with the water attack before purposely using his fire powers and creating a massive cloud of steam that shrouded the battlefield. Through the mist, Lincoln heard Riku's voice in his comms.
"Hold on, Lincoln! Reinforcements are almost there. Just keep them busy a little longer!"
Lincoln grit his teeth.
"I'm working on it!"
He charged through the mist, engaging Ragnok once more, their swords clashing in a series of quick, powerful strikes. Sparks flew as Lincoln pushed his advantage, his Fire Mode still burning bright. But as the Dark Knights regrouped around him, he knew couldn't hold out for much longer.
"If I can take one of them down before backup arrives... I can win this."
Lincoln's eyes locked onto Pyra, the most injured of the group and the one with the most disadvantage. With a determined roar, he sprinted forward, his flaming blades ready to strike once more. However, he was suddenly punched by Aries enlarged fist and when he landed on the ground, he accidentally dropped his swords and the force of the punch managed to knock Calcifer off his belt and he reverted back to his base form. He got up and saw the Aries not only grew his fist but he also stretched his arm like plastic man.
"Oh crap!"
Pyra then attempted to attack Lincoln with her own flaming sword as Lincoln rush to pick up Calcifer but he was trapped in a mini spinning dome of water that acted as a force field to prevent Lincoln from using him and then he saw Pyra's incoming attack right in front of him but suddenly she was stopped dead in her tracks when someone continuously shot her with laser bullets on rapid fire. Lincoln turned around and saw who just helped him. The figure was clad in in silver colored armor with some similarities to his own and some parts were glowing bright teal and his helmet had a big bright green visor. The weapon he just used was a special kind of rifle that had the same color scheme but Lincoln noticed the belt he was wearing it was a silver and grey belt in the shape of a football with a neon blue center and a slot on the top with a neon blue wheel on top of it, he immediately remembered that it was the same belt used for project M. E. C. H.
"I recognized that belt.. are you?"
"It's exactly what you think senpai."
"But how? I thought no one was selected to use it yet."
"You're not wrong but Dr. Hunter decided to use me as an emergency user for this fight."
"W-Who are you?!" Pyra yelled.
"I am... wait, I did not think of a name."
Lincoln then whispered in his ear.
"You sure?"
"Yeah, it's a great name and it's simple."
"Alright then... I am Kamen Rider Mech!"
"Heh... doesn't matter, you'll both share the same fate anyways!" Grim said.
Lincoln picked up one of his swords and pressed the button on his belt.
"Blaster!"
"TELEPORT... BLASTER"
He held his blaster with one hand and his sword with the other and stood firm with Mech by his side who ready his rifle again.
"Shall we?"
"Lead the way."
Lincoln charged forward, firing rapid shots from his blaster at the remaining Zakros clones while slashing through the advancing Cybots with his sword. Mech, staying back, unleashed a relentless barrage of rapid precise energy shots, each one finding its target with deadly accuracy. Pyra, still recovering from the earlier assault, barely had time to react before another volley of teal energy bullets forced her to take cover behind Aries. Aries let out a guttural growl, his massive arms stretching again in an attempt to grab Lincoln.
"You won't escape this time, Rider!"
Lincoln rolled out of the way just in time, blasting Aries in the face with a precised shot to the face that staggered him. Mech took advantage of the opening, switching a dial on his rifle.
"Switching to burst mode!"
"BURST SHOT"
A concentrated burst of glowing teal energy hit Aries square in the chest, sending him stumbling back and crashing into Grim. Grim caught him, his scythe twirling defensively.
"Enough playing around!" Grim growled, leaping into the air and slashing down with incredible force.
Lincoln blocked the strike with his sword but was pushed back several feet from the impact. Mech fired a well-placed shot at Grim's scythe, knocking it off course for just a second.
"I got your back!" Mech shouted.
"Appreciate it!" Lincoln replied, quickly inserting his disk into the hilt of his sword.
"CHARGED"
His sword glowed with blue energy, and he dashed forward, slashing at Grim with rapid strikes. Grim tried to parry the first few hits but couldn't keep up with the strength of Lincoln's relentless attacks. Meanwhile, Mech kept Pyra, Ragnok, and Satvar pinned down with covering fire. Satvar, realizing they were losing momentum, struck her trident into the ground.
"Enough of this!" she roared, summoning a massive surge of water that formed into multiple tendrils, whipping toward Lincoln and Mech.
"Look out!" Mech warned.
Lincoln dodged again, avoiding the attack just before the water tendrils could grab him, using his environment and skills to get above Satvar and slamming his sword down with some leftover charged energy still active. She barely managed to block, the sheer force from his charged attack forcing her to stumble back. Mech didn't waste a second, firing directly at her exposed flank. The impact shattered part of her armor, and Satvar let out a pained grunt. Lincoln landed next to Mech.
"Nice shot."
"Not bad yourself, senpai."
Before they could celebrate, Ragnok and Zakros regrouped with Pyra, Grim, and Aries, their expressions turning serious.
"You may have gotten some new help, but you're still outnumbered." Ragnok sneered
Lincoln smirked.
"Maybe, but I don't need numbers... I just need enough time."
As if on cue, Riku's voice came through the comms in Lincoln's helmet again.
"Lincoln! Reinforcements are here. Hold on a little longer!"
Hearing that, Lincoln's confidence grew.
"Guess you've run out of time."
Grim growled.
"Then we'll end this NOW!"
Suddenly, the two Riders heard heavy footsteps behind them and turned around to see a large orange and white robot mech armor with horns on its head and two cannons on its back.
"Sorry about the delay but now I can join in on the fun."
"Wait a minute, Riku are you in robot?" Lincoln said.
"Yep, it's still a prototype but most of the system is functional. I told you, I planned to make a titan so I did."
"This week's just full of surprises!"
From behind one of the robot's legs, Ryu shows up already transformed and behind him was Tanaka and some police officers with the blasters Lincoln provided them before.
"Don't forget, we're here too." Ryu said.
Realize the rise in numbers for reinforcements on Lincoln's side, each member of Dark Knights summoned more Cybots and Zakros created more clones of himself as Aries grew in size to match the size of Riku's robot.
"Attack!" Satvar yelled.
Lincoln grinned, gripping his sword tighter.
"Alright guys, let's show them what we're made of!"
Riku, piloting her towering mech, slammed one of its massive fists into the ground, causing a tremor that shook the battlefield.
"I've been waiting to test this baby out in real combat!" she said, the mech's cannons charging with energy.
Ryu readied his blade and nodded to Lincoln.
"Let's clean up this mess."
Tanaka and the police officers took formation, their blasters aimed at the advancing army of Cybots.
"We'll cover your flank, just focus on taking down their leaders!"
Lincoln and Mech exchanged glances, then charged into battle. Lincoln sprinted toward Zakros and his clones, his sword glowing with charged energy. He leapt into the fray, spinning mid-air and slashing through several clones in a fiery explosion. Mech provided covering fire, taking down Cybots with pinpoint accuracy, each shot striking weak points with expert precision and as he saw the clones coming closer he changed his rifle into a sword, considering his arsenal of weaponry and armor manifests and comes to him with nanotechnology instead of teleporting like with Lincoln, and starts cutting through the clones alongside with Lincoln. Zakros grinned, watching Lincoln tear through his illusions.
"You're persistent, Rider, but let's see how you handle THIS!" He created a new wave of clones, all with their arm blades ready and moving in perfect sync.
Lincoln didn't hesitate. He inserted his disk into into hilt of sword once again.
"CHARGED"
He held his sword on his shoulders with both of his hands while sliding his foot out and twisting his upper body to slice through the clones before they could even react.
"Nice try, but I've got a few tricks left too!"
Meanwhile, Riku's mech squared off against the now-massive Aries, who roared as he swung his enlarged fists. The mech took the hit but retaliated with a powerful shoulder bash, knocking Aries backward.
"Not bad, big guy, but I've got firepower to match!" Riku taunted, bowing the robot down a bit and activating her shoulder cannons.
Twin energy blasts erupted from the mech's cannons, slamming into Aries and sending him crashing into the rubble. She then activated the robot's additional weapons systems and transformed the lower left arm into a blaster and the lower right arm into a chainsaw.
"You're in trouble now."
Meanwhile Ryu engaged Grim, his sword clashing against the Synthoid's twin scythe.
"You're fast, but you're out of your league." Grim admitted.
Ryu smirked.
"We'll see about that."
Ryu opened up his engine blade and inserted his Engine Gaia Memory before closing it and pulling the trigger.
"ENGINE... ELECTRIC"
Ryu's blade was then covered in electricity as he unleashed a powerful slash attack, forcing Grim to retreat momentarily. Satvar, still reeling from the earlier damage, spun her trident, summoning a towering tsunami aimed directly at the police officers.
"You cannot hope to stand against us, mortals!"
"Hold the line!" Tanaka yelled.
The officers fired their blasters, creating walls of suppressive fire to counter the incoming water surge. But it wasn't enough. Seeing the danger, Mech quickly rushed to swapped his weapon from a sword to a shield.
A teal energy barrier expanded outward from the sheild, blocking the tidal wave and protecting the police force.
"Stay behind me!" Mech called out as the officers regrouped behind him.
Lincoln saw his opening and took opportunity to free Calcifer from the water dome and quickly changed into his Fire Mode.
"UPGRADE... FIRE... LETS GO... FIRE... BURNING EXPLOSION"
He wasted no time and ignited the blade of his sword with fire in blazing inferno as he charged at Ragnok and Pyra, the three clashing in an intense flurry of sparks and flames. Lincoln pushed harder, overwhelming Ragnok with sheer force and techniques and Pyra with his fire powers.
"You're finished, Ragnok!" Lincoln shouted, delivering a final, devastating flaming slash that sent Ragnok crashing to the ground.
"Hmm... I wonder?"
*Presses switch*
"FINAL STRIKE... FIRE"
Normally Lincoln would focus his final attack into his leg but this time he focused his energy into his sword which was still charged from his disk and his flaming sword glowed even brighter and hotter with heat. At that moment, Mech appeared by Lincoln's side.
"Wow that's new" Mech said.
"Yeah, and my sword is very hot now so help me finish this before I accidentally melt the whole thing off."
"Ok! Got it senpai!"
Mech pushed down on the wheel on his belt and it ejected his own disk from the slot in his belt and inserted onto the hilt of his sword just like how Lincoln does it.
"FULL SURGE"
Mech's sword was now glowing with a bright teal energy and the two riders was now ready to destroy one of the elite Synthoid.
"You first." Lincoln said.
Mech then reversed the grip on his sword and step forward to do a ninja side flip while unleashing a powerful ranged diagonal slash attack. From there, Lincoln raised his sword and released all the flaming energy into a diagonal slash from the other direction that manifested into the shape of a phoenix as it launches from his sword. Realizing that there was no way to avoid or withstand the attack, Ragnok braced herself for her ultimate defeat by she was suddenly pushed out of the way by Pyra and for a split second before impact she saw the small smile on Pyra's face.
"... Thank goodness..." Pyra said.
She was then hit by the cross attack of the two riders with direct impact to her core before blowing up in a giant fireball.
*BOOM*
A few seconds later by the time the smoke finally cleared, there wasn't a single trace of Pyra's remains and Ragnok was laying there still in shock of her comrade's sacrifice.
"Pyra!" she yelled.
Seeing Pyra's death, Satvar snarled.
"Everyone! We're pulling out! Now!"
She raised her trident, creating a swirling vortex of water. The remaining Dark Knights and their Cybots retreated into the portal, disappearing from sight.
-To Be Continued-
