The tunnel doors opened and Lincoln then entered the base after the fight with Cybots and can see Riku still on the main computer analyzing the video footage from Lincoln's eye lenses and from security cameras in the area of the fight, when he knew it was now safe he removed the disk from the belt and and pressed the button to undo the transformation.

"CANCEL"

"Hey Riku, I'm back."

"Hey Lincoln-kun, I'm just finishing up here."

"Oh, exactly what were you doing."

"Well I was studying the footage to find out more about this attack and how you as a Rider can improve after every fight."

"Oh ok then, but how about we get back back to training since we were interrupted, I am very committed to the Kamen Rider superhero life."

"Alright just give a sec to reboot the simulation."

The entry door on top of the stairs then opened to reveal Riku's mom, Isuzu, holding a plate of snacks.

"Oh, hi Mrs. Kasami"

"Please, no need for formalities Lincoln-kun, just call me Isuzu."

"Mom, did you need something?"

"I just heard about the attack in Kabukicho and considering how you were training before, I thought it would be appropriate to bring you some snacks to replenish your energy before I cook dinner."

"Well I was starved after the fight, thanks so much Isuzu."

"Go ahead and enjoy" Isuzu put the plate of snacks on the table near the computer and proceeded to walk up the stairs and to the kitchen while Riku and Lincoln were eating before resuming training.

*Meanwhile in another dimension*

The three figures once again entered the throne room and kneel in front of the King.

"Explain to me why the three of you decided to waste an opportunity to invade the earth dimension even further by not sending in any one of the Synthoids instead of just weak Cybots who can already bypass the seal without a portal at certain times, General Graves would you like to go first?"

The second figure stood up, it is revealed that it is a skull figure with a brown teared hood and white armor with only one shoulder piece on his right side and a large scythe on his right arm.



"We were attempting to lure out this new Kamen Rider and gather more information."

"And what have you learned?"

"We have yet to learn about his identity but we do know that they are getting aid from the Kasami family and are most like not a member, their combat abilities are beginners level but are rising and equipped with a variety of weapons against us."

"It will be a matter of time before he gets at the same power level as the previous Kamen Riders that bested us before, perhaps even stronger" the king said.

"I suggest that we continue to slowly invade one at a time and have our Synthoids battle him before that happens" General Graves spoke.

"How do you expect us to do that, we can barely send in any Synthoids through a portal without any problems and I don't see a bag of bones like you coming up with any solutions" the third figure spoke, a white tiger beast with blue eyes and white and grey armor with black bracers.



"I'd would recommend you hold that tongue of yours kitty"

"SILENCE! General Graves and Willows, stop this foolishness."

"Apologies my lord" the two said together.

"General Bardo, do you have any opinons to say?"

The first figure reveals to be a large muscular brown beast with thorns on its head and 2 large upward teeth, yellow eyes, grey armor, chain bracers and a red belt.



"I suggest that we find a way to make transportation to the earth dimension easier while sending Synthoids to attack the Rider and keep him occupied and maybe defeat him if there's a chance."

"I agree, how long until we are able to invade again?"

"2 days my lord" General Graves said.

The doors then opened to reveal a fourth figure entering, the three generals turned around to see a female green snake-like beast with yellow eyes and horns, one of them broken, a red robe with brown spiked shoulder armor, brown bracers, and a black shirt.



"Sentria" the king said.

"I can see my timing couldn't be any more perfect."

"Don't bother with that, we know you always plan everything, do you know a way on how we can stabilize more portals."

"That has proven more difficult than expected which was already very high but I may have an idea, if we can gather enormous amount of dimensional energy from dimensions we have already conquered and direct all of it to the portals to the earth dimension it might be enough to send over more Synthoids at once but General Bardo's plan should be set in motion to keep Cyrus from causing trouble for us."

"That's quite a lot of work and might be more troublesome with our numbers in strong Synthoids but it might be only shot."

The king stood up and stepped out of the shadows of the throne room to reveal his appearance, a large red-eyed skull monster with white and gold armor and horns, a red cape and gold crown.



"Until it's time to invade again, find a worthy candidate who can do some damage and gather our forces and and a way to create more Synthoids, we might need the extra numbers."

"Yes my lord!" all four said together.

*Back with Lincoln and Riku*

Lincoln was continuing the training simulation with a holographic version of the dragon Synthoid from before and this time, he placed the disk in the center of his blaster instead of his sword.

"CHARGED"

The energy begin to charge up and form a ball at the end of the barrel and Lincoln pulled the trigger to shoot a large blast of energy towards the hologram destroying it and ending the simulation as a result.

"And that's the end of that"

"CANCEL"

"I think I'm done for the day."

"Alright any problems while you were fighting?"

"Uh the targeting system really messed me up when I had to switch to my other hand while I was dual wielding."

"Ok, I'll see if I can adjust the system to detect which hand your blaster was in to optimize your aiming."

The main door opened to reveal a mature man with black hair and wearing a suit descending down the stairs of the base and Riku saw him first.

"Oh hey Dad, welcome home."

"Hey sweety, who's your friend?"

Lincoln kindly approached Riku's father with his hand out "Lincoln Loud sir, the new Kamen Rider, Cyrus, nice to meet you."

He then shook his hand "Ryouma Kasami, pleased to finally meet you I wanted to thank you for saving my daughter's life and choosing to become a rider."

"It's not a problem, I do what I can and I don't think there's no one else who is able to transform and willing to help."

"It's still a big deal though, not everyone is brave enough to fight a monster and win but anyways, dinner's almost ready if the two of you are done training you could join us and try to get to know each other."

"Well if it's alright, there's no reason to refuse."

"Excellent, I'll see you upstairs in the dining room later then."

*Later in the dining room*

The four of them were eating some delicious food cooked by Isuzu, she was worried that Lincoln didn't know how to use chopsticks but he proved that he did knew.

"So Lincoln, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself" Isuzu said.

"Well, what do you want to know first so I can figure out where to start."

"You mentioned that you've traveled to another dimension before back when we were trying to escape from the Synthoid, do you mind talking about that, it might help me understand why you are able to transform when I couldn't for research purposes" Riku said.

"... If you want the context of that, I might need to start from way back."

Lincoln was hesitant to talk about a story involving his former family and he might need to tell them about the bad luck incident to them but he made up his mind that she deserves to know "It all started a long time ago back in my old house in Michigan with my parents and my 10 sisters."

"Wait, 10 sisters!"

"Yeah I know 5 older sisters and 5 younger sisters, but it's wasn't all that fun being the only son and middle child in the family. One day my younger sister Lisa who's a child genius prodigy made a device that allowed me to temporary travel to another dimension where I had ten older brothers instead but i didn't go very well and I was almost trapped there but I manage to return and it made me realize that life with my sisters wasn't so bad until it was proven that I was so wrong about everything."

Lincoln nearly shed some tears but held them back to continue his story.

"A few months later, my sporty older sister lynn forced me to go to her game but she lost but the worse thing was that she blamed me and called me bad luck, at the time I had to go to all of my family's events and never had time for myself even when I asked for one so I decided to go with the lie about being bad luck to finally had a break but they became superstitious and cast me out of events but all of a sudden, they sold all of my stuff and kick me out of the house to avoid the bad luck. I tried to tell them the truth but they didn't listen and later on I secretly went to lynn's game in a squirrel suit but once again it made things worse, they thought the suit was a good luck charm so they forced me to wear it and never take it off even on a hot day in the beach and I nearly died so I had enough. I called the police on them and they were arrested for child abuse but on the day of the court case, they were found guilty of other crimes for past events and half of my former family got life in jail without parole and a few were sent to a mental facility and the rest went into separate foster care through various states and I was adopted into one of my friends' family, the Casagrandes. To this day, I don't know what's happening with my old family and wondered what could have been different and if this would have been avoided but last night I realize if I didn't I wouldn't be here at all and would instead still be struggling to find my own talent for art and wouldn't have become a Kamen Rider, I love my new family, they truly care about me through love and support unlike my old one and they helped me find my talent and got back up on my feet and rise when I was down the most and since then I worked hard to improve and eventually came here to go to college and you know the rest."

When Lincoln finished his story, he saw that Riku and her parents were in tears from his backstory.

"Gosh, I never thought you had to go through something that tragic I'm sorry I asked you to bring back old memories like that."

"It's alright I'm over it now, I've moved on and have a new family back home who's still supports me from afar."

"Lincoln, I want to let you know that if things get stressful for you just tell us and take a break to relax and don't hesitate to ask for any favors from us" Ryouma said.

"Thanks, and I'm sorry for ruining the mood tonight."

"Don't worry about it we're here to support you while you're here in Japan, it's the least we can do when you are also helping us out as a Kamen Rider" Isuzu said.

*Later*

Everyone had finished their food and Lincoln, Ryouma, and Riku went to the living room to relax for a bit before Lincoln has to go back to the dorms while Isuzu was.

"So Lincoln, do you have any plans for yourself tomorrow?"

"Well I was planning on looking for some kind of job that works around my schedule when classes start later on and when I need to leave to fight so that I'll be able to earn money to get by."

"How convenient, an old friend of mine runs a small cafe nearby it's not too busy, close to the college, pays well, and if you explain the situation with college and your Rider duties, you should be able to manage just fine, I can give them call tomorrow." Ryouma said.

"Oh I would appreciate that very much, thank you."

"It's not a problem."

"I should get going now before it gets too dark."

"Wait there's something I want to give you before you go."

Riku quickly activated the entrance to the underground base and later went back to the living room with a tablet in her hand and gave it to Lincoln.

"This tablet contains all the archived data regarding Kamen Riders, the abilities you possess, and whatever information you might need to search in case you wish to know more on your own time."

"Thank you Riku, this might come in handy, I'll see you."

Lincoln stood up, said one last goodbye to Riku and her parents, and left the Kasami household and started walking back to his dorm room, on the way his phone started ringing and he then sees that Ronnie Anne was calling him.

"Hello?"

"Hey Lincoln, how are you?"

"To be honest, I couldn't be better, you?"

"I'm great, me and Sid just went to concert and it was awesome but to be honest things are just not the same without you, and I saw some news over there."

"About what?"

"There some reports about an army of monsters attacking the city in Japan and how a strange armored hero came in and stopped them and there's also a name for this guy, Kamen Rider Cyrus."

"This is bad, I can't have anyone from the family figure out that I'm the one fighting" Lincoln thought.

"Yeah I heard but if there's a new superhero fighting I shouldn't have to worry too much about it."

"There's more."

"Hmm?"

"I did some research and found out the "Kamen Rider" is an old legend in Japan and this Cyrus guy is the newest one reported, it goes back all the way from 1971 but a lot of that type of information is blocked and there might be ones that existed before but was never reported until later on."

"Interesting, but Ronnie Anne I assure you everything's alright on my side."

"...Ok, I'm just a little worried about you that's all."

"It's fine, I talk to you another time, tell everyone that I said hello and that I miss them already."

"Alright, bye Lincoln."
