???: "You (Y/N) (L/N) have died."

[You open your eyes and see that you're in some kind of void, a checker board floor below that doesn't extend too far with a mist circling around the room You look up and see a woman with sleeveless dark-blue vest with white trimmings, a short dark blue miniskirt, a green bow around her chest with a blue gem in the middle, a translucent purple underskirt, with blue hair and blue eyes.]

[You hear something and turn to see another guy sitting in a chair looking back at you, he has slightly spiky chestnut-brown hair and green eyes, he also sported a green track suit.]

???: "Hey..."

(Y/N): "Hi..."

[You both awkwardly look at each other as you look back at the blue haired girl.]

(Y/N): "So... what's going on here?"

???: "Welcome to the after life, a few moments ago you've both passed on, my condolences. Your lives were quite short, and now you're both, well, dead."

[You can't believe what's doing on.]

(Y/N): "I know I fell. But I don't think I hit myself that hard."

[You get up and try to walk away, but end up running into an invisible wall.]

(Y/N): "What the..?"

[You look back and see both of them looking at you.]

???: "(Y/N), please calm down, as I've said, you're dead."

[You sit back down and turn to the guy.]

(Y/N): "And who may you be?"

[He turns.]

Kazuma: "Name's Kazuma Satou." [He reaches out his hand as you take it.]

Kazuma: "And you're (Y/N)..? Don't think we've ever met."

[You try and remember but shrug.]

(Y/N): "Nope, don't remember."

[You turn and look at the blue haired girl.]

(Y/N): "Well.. what about everything back home? Is everything alright?"

[She thinks for a second.]

???: "Well, they did grieve, including your rabbit. But your rabbit was handed over to Emily which she takes good care of. As for your family they're mourning too."

[You look down and sigh.]

(Y/N): "Well, so much for that life."

Kazuma: "Well, the girl I saved. Is she okay?"

Aqua: "Yes, she's fine."

[He breaths a sigh of relief.]

Kazuma: "Thank god. At least my death counted for something good.."

[She looks at him puzzledly.]

???: "Actually, even if you hadn't pushed out of the way like you did, she'd still be fine!"

Kazuma: "Huh!?"

[She opens the book next to her and eyes it.]

???: "A tractor can't go that fast, so it would have stopped before it hit her."

[She closes the book and looks back at him.]

Kazuma: "Woah woah woah hold it back up a sec!"

???: "What is it?"

[You look at him, having a feeling you knew where this is going.]

Kazuma: "That was a tractor!?"

???: "Yes, a little red one!"

Kazuma: "Then how'd I die!? I mean did I like get run over by it or something?"

Aqua: "Oh no, you died of shock. Apparently you thought it was a truck."

[He recoils in the back of his seat.]

Kazuma: "You're kidding!"

(Y/N): "Damn, that's rough.."

[She busts out in laughter.]

???: "Sorry, I've been doing this for a long time and you're the first humans I've met that've died so ridiculously!"

[He turns to you as you look at him as she continues to laugh her ass off.]

(Y/N): "I- pepper sprayed myself on accident while I was fighting off a robber. He stabbed me."

[Kazuma dejectedly looks at you and nods as he turns his attention back to the laughing goddess.]

???: "Not to mention Kazuma got so scared to be run over he wet his pants! And while you were at the hospital the nurses and doctors laughed as you had a heart attack!"

[You cringed and looked at him as he thrashed his legs around and held his ears as she continued to laugh.]

Kazuma: "Shut up shut up shut up!"

[She gets up and approaches him.]

???: "Your family's at the hospital and were just told on how you died and even they're laughing!"

[Kazuma goes into another fit as you get up and pull the girl away.]

(Y/N): "Okay that's enough."

[She eyes you for a moment and sighs.]

???: "Fine fine, but there's nothing like laughter to ease the stress of ones day."

[You back off as the pink ribbons behind her disappear.]

Aqua: "I'm the goddess Aqua, when young people die in Japan it's my job to guide them to the after life! Now that you both are here, you have a couple of options, you can either reincarnate and return to earth, or you can go to heaven and potter around like an old man for eternity."

[She then leans in and whispers to the both of you.]

Aqua: "But just between you and me, heaven is nothing like the dreamy place you humans imagine it being like."

[You look down and notice that her bare ass is showing from under her skirt as you just sigh and look away.]

Aqua: "There's no TV, no manga or games, instead you don't have a physical body, you can't even have sex! You'll just bask in the sun till the end of time, whenever that happens."

[You and Kazuma look at each other, thinking the same thing.]

(Y/N): "Jeez, these both suck."

Kazuma: "Yeah, are there any other options?"

Aqua: "Well, you both are quite young, I bet ya like games!"

(Y/N): "So what are you gonna send us to a game of our choice or something?"

[She turns to you and strikes a pose.]

Aqua: "In a far away land, peace and prosperity have been threatened by the Devil King and his army! The innocent are being trampled by monsters, destroyed in the blink of an eye, fear rules the land as the Devil Kings army reigns and pillages and slaughters-!"

(Y/N): "So basically just an JRPG?"

Aqua: "Yeah pretty much."

Kazuma: "Sounds fun..." [He says in a worried tone.]

Aqua: "We decided to send young people who died in other worlds to that one and let them keep their bodies and memories, pretty clever huh!"

(Y/N): "Well, what's the point of us going there if we're just going to die instantly anyways..?"

[She strikes yet another pose as she points at you.]

Aqua: "I'm glad you've asked! If you decide to go, I'll let you choose one thing and take it with you! It can be anything like a powerful weapon or a special ability! You can have a new life and keep all of your memories from your old one, plus you can have an awesome power or weapon!~"

[You and Kazuma both look at each other, at a loss for words.]

Aqua: "The world needs a hero! And you both can be its heroes! That's some deal don't you think!"

(Y/N): "Just one thing. Don't we have to learn the worlds language..?"

Aqua: "Oh, right. We've already thought of that!"

[She pulls out what looks to be an instruction manual and shows it to the both of you.]

Aqua: "Thanks to the kind support of us gods, we'll load the language into your brain. You'll be able to speak and read it right when you arrive!"

[You look down and notice a warning, something about overloading and possibly dying.]

Aqua: "There's a chance you'll get overloaded and go poof but that's rare!"

[She says as she covers the warning label.]

Aqua: "Any who, just choose a skill or weapon and I'll send you two on your way!"

[Kazuma looks up at her with an annoyed glare.]

Kazuma: "You just mentioned something that sounded serious, something about going poof?"

Aqua: "No I didn't!~"

(Y/N): "Yeah you did.."

[She ignores the both of you as she spins around with cards in her hands.]

Aqua: "Time to choose!" [She tosses all of the cards into the air.] "I have tons of options and they're all amazing, so just pick one and I'll send you on your way!"

*Timeskip*

[Your both analyzing the cards, they're all pretty crazy, Aqua groans in annoyance as you look up, her munching on a bag of chips.]

Aqua: "Come onnn, pick something, it doesn't matter anyways. In the end you'll both still be shut in's, well, one worse then the other."

(Y/N): "I had a job.."

Kazuma: "And don't call me a gamer geek! I'm not a shut in I go outside of my house!"

[He says as he throws a tantrum, scattering all of the cards.]

Aqua: "Details shneetails, just hurry it up already. I've got loads more dead humans to guide than just you two you know?"

(Y/N): "Hey uhm, Aqua?"

[She turns to you, eyebrow raised.]

Aqua: "..Yeah?"

(Y/N): "Does it necessarily have to be something on one of the cards, or can we just bring something of our own choice?"

[She tosses another chip into her mouth.]

Aqua: "Yeah, you can choose whatever, those are just some recommendations to help people."

(Y/N): "Sweet! Well, I choose the Horseless Headless Horsemanns Headtaker!"

[Aqua stares at you, confused as Kazuma goes wide eyed.]

Kazuma: "Woah, you play TF2 too?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, been playing for a while!"

Kazuma: "Nice!"

Aqua: "I dunno what you both are talking about, but here you go, your, Headtaker thing. Just stretch out your arms for a sec."

[You stretch out your arms as she waves her hand, when suddenly the weapons appears in your hands.]



The Horseless Headless Horseman's Headtaker:

This version of the weapon is altered to fit the new game more, mainly how Charge works. It's still some what intact, but has some changes made to it to fit the world better.

-For every kill the reader gets, they get stronger and more durable, to replace the heads mechanic.

-While they cannot charge like in the game, aka stuff like trimping and different turn speeds, they still get a rush of energy when using the weapon, increasing their movement and swing speed.

-No their eye does not glow, as this is technically not the real weapon.

-This is a dual handed weapon, meaning when using it it requires both hands. Could be used with one hand, but would be very heavy and awkward to use.

-The weapon itself is a buff, so if it were to be handed to another person, they would inherit those buffs instead.

-The buffs stay on the person even if the weapon isn't being held, but not all abilities can be used, aka the rush mechanic, however the welder still retains their strength and durability.

-Each strength and durability upgrade is minor, as to keep a semblance of balance and snowball.

-If the weapon is broken, all stats and buffs from it applied to the wielder will be wiped, any stats gained naturally however will stay. Example being buffs from leveling up.

-More buffs may be added to the weapon overtime with new skill unlocks.

[You marvel at the weapon and feel it, it's exactly what you wanted and more, even Kazuma gawks at his.]

Kazuma: "That's badass..."

(Y/N): "I know..."

Aqua: "Okay, (Y/N)'s made his choice, so just hurry up and pick something already!"

[Kazuma turns to her, pissed.]

Kazuma: "You want me to hurry up huh? Okay you got it.."

[You turn to him, worried as to what he might do.]

Kazuma: "You told (Y/N) you're allowed to take anything you want is that right?"

Aqua: "Uh huh.." [She says unenthusiastically as she pops another chip into her mouth.]

[He then raises his arm and points at Aqua.]

Kazuma: "I pick you."

[She stops for a second and finishes her chip as she summons a circle around you both.]

Aqua: "Alright, step in the magic circle and don't step out- wait what was it you picked again..?"

[Suddenly what looks to be another portal opens as an angel comes through, she has giant wings and wears what looks to be a pink night gown as she looks at Aqua.]

???: "Your request has been heard, and fear not lady Aqua, for in your absence I shall tend to your duties."

[All three of you are taken aback at the sight as she summons another portal like both yours and Kazuma's around her.]

???: "Kazuma Satou's wish complies with the regulations, and has been accepted!"

[A pillar of blue light comes out from around you all as Aqua begs.]

Aqua: "W-wait, you can't be serious! This is obviously a mistake, no no no, redo redo, cancel the request!"

[She throws herself against the pillar as she hopelessly looks at the other girl.]

Aqua: "YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! IT'S AGAINST THE RULES YOU CAN'T TAKE ME AWAY I'M A GODDESS! THIS IS ILLEGAL TOTALLY ILLEGAL IT'S GOTTA BE ILLEGAL! WAIT! WAAAAITT!"

[She pleads as she bangs on the pillar as the other angel just smiles at her.]

???: "Have a safe journey lady Aqua, should you defeat the Devil King I shall send an escort to bring you back here!"

Aqua: "I CAN'T FIGHT I'M A GODDESS! THE ONLY SKILL I HAVE IS HEALING, I'M A HEALER NOT A FIGHTER! I CAN'T DEFEAT THE DEVIL KING I CAN'T DEFEAT ANYTHING!"

[Suddenly the three of you start to levitate.]

(Y/N): "Didn't see my day going like this.."

Aqua: "Put me down put me down!"

[Kazuma chuckles as he faces her.]

Kazuma: "It must suck to be you right now, being dragged away by the guy you were making fun of."

(Y/N): "And for the record I had nothing to do with this."

Kazmua: "You're coming with us and there's nothing you can do about it! I'll tap your power and live the good life! Then I'll tap it all day everyday!"

(Y/N): "Oh god I'm stuck with a pervert.."

[Aqua yells out in terror.]

Aqua: "PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO WITH A CREEP LIKE HIM! IF YOU'RE GONNA SEND ME WITH ANYONE SEND ME WITH JUST (Y/N) PLEASSEE!!"

[Kazuma laughs evilly as, the angel spreads her wigs, sending feathers everywhere.]

???: "I wish you luck, and I pray that of the many candidates we have sent, you shall be the hero's who defeat the Devil King! If you can save the world from his evil, the gods will grant you any wish your heart desires!"

Kazuma: "Woah seriously!?"

(Y/N): "Aww that's awesome!"

Aqua: "Wait a sec I'm supposed to say that!"

???: "Now then, begin your journey!"

[A giant ball of light is created above the three of you as you all descend, Kazuma laughing, you just staring in awe as you clutch onto the headtaker, and Aqua crying out, as the three of you are taken to an all new world.]
