[All of the adventurers have gathered back at the guild, all celebrating their harvest over some food and alcohol. All parties except for yours, however, at the table sat Kazuma, Darkness, Aqua, and Megumin, the ladder looking very guilty as all them stare at you, partially bandaged in some places as you quietly eat your food. Kazuma slams the table and anger and scolds Megumin.]

Kazuma: "Now what the hell were you thinking out there!? You could have killed him you moron!" [He then rests his head in his hands and groans.] "Then I would have put up with these idiots all on my own.." [He mumbles to himself.]

[Megumin wails and grabs onto you.]

Megumin: "I didn't mean to! I got in the moment and didn't see where I was casting the spell! I'm sorry!"

[You turn your head to her and sigh, giving her a soft pat on the head as she stifles her sobs into your arm.]

(Y/N): "Megumin, it's fine."

[She takes her head out of her arms and looks up at you, Kazuma speaking back up.]

Kazuma: "Dude, you almost lost your life out there!"

[You gently shrug as you look over to Darkness.]

(Y/N): "Well, luckily Darkness was there to save me from it."

[Darkness blushes and looks away, smiling.]

Darkness: "I was only doing my duty as a crusader, that's all."

[She shoots her eyes over to you as you smile back at her. Kazuma once again butting into the moment.]

Kazuma: "And if she wasn't?"

[Everyone looks at you again, silently. You look down and stab some of your stir fry with a fork.]

(Y/N): "Luckily we don't have to think about that, do we."

[Everyone looks down, continuing the silence between each other, you decide to break it as you speak up.]

(Y/N): "How can a simple cabbage stir fry be so tasty?"

Kazuma: "Yeah, but we didn't come to a fantasy world to fight cabbages."

[You chuckle and look up to Kazuma.]

(Y/N): "Dude, is all you do complain?"

[He rolls his eyes and stabs at his stir fry as Aqua speaks up, looking over at Darkness.]

Aqua: "Well, there's no doubt that you're a crusader, even without your armor, you're so fierce those cabbages couldn't get past you!"

[Darkness blushes and looks down.]

Darkness: "Well.. actually, I'm just built solidly.. protecting someone with my body is all I'm good for."

[She gestures over to you.]

Darkness: "As evident with him."

[Megumin looks over at Aqua.]

Megumin: "Aqua, your natures beauty spell was perfect! The cold water quenched everyone's thirst on the battle field and kept all the cabbages fresh in the cages!"

[It flashes back to Aqua standing next to soma cages full of water as a man dumps a basket full of them in. She spins around and shoots some water into the cage while saying natures beauty. It then shows her holding some fans as water shoots out from them, filling some cups set up for her as she says it again, she goes around handing the cups to other men as she speaks up.]

Aqua: "Aw it was nothing~ That's why having an arch priest around is important!"

Kazuma: "For what, squirting water?"

Aqua: "Well an arch priests magical water is the purest."

Kazuma: "Really..?"

[Darkness then turns to you.]

Darkness: "(Y/N), your sword was wonderful out there! You collected probably the most out of any of us all the while looking like you hardly broke a sweat." [She looks off to the side, blushing.] "I do have to admit, it even makes me a bit jealous.."

[You chuckle and wave it off.]

(Y/N): "It was nothing, just the power of the sword is all. Speaking of power, Megumin, that explosion wiped out an entire swarm of cabbage in one blow!"

[Megumin sits back a bit, a confident look on her face.]

Megumin: "That's crimson demon power, breathtaking isn't it?"

[Darkness blushes as she reminisces on the explosion.]

Darkness: "Yes, I've never been hit by such firepower before!~"

Kazuma: "Don't go making a habit of it."

[This causes everyone to laugh as Kazuma sighs, Aqua then leaning into him, pressing her finger into his cheek.]

Aqua: "By the way Kazuma, you were pretty amazing out there yourself!~"

Megumin: "I agree, when you turned invisible with your lurk skill and attacked the enemy from behind with steal, it was handled with the precision of an assassin, truly impressive!"

Aqua: "Kazuma, by the holy name of me I hereby bestow upon you the title of 'Great Cabbage Thief!~'"

[Kazuma freaks out as he whines.]

Kazuma: "Gosh put a sock in it! Why do I get the title!? Shouldn't (Y/N) get it since he got the most!"

Megumin: "Probably because he's cooler."

Aqua: "Yeah, and 'Great Cabbage Swordsman.' doesn't really roll off the tongue that well."

[You chuckle as Kazuma groans as he puts his head into his hands.]

Kazuma: "What did I do to deserve this life!?

Darkness: "Yes well, now you all know what I am capable of. As crusader and ally."

[She puts her hands on the table as she stands up, a soft smile on her face as you couldn't help but blush and smile as well from her beauty.]

Darkness: "I am Darkness, even though I wield a two handed sword like (Y/N), please do not expect too much of me."

[She cutely closes her eyes and scratches her face with one of her fingers as you blush even more, Megumin poking you in the shoulder as you both chuckle, you rolling your eyes as Darkness continues.]

Darkness: "I'm far too clumsy and my attacks rarely hit their mark."

[She then strikes a confident pose.]

Darkness: 'However, I make an impenetrable wall!"

Aqua: "Our party is turning out to have quite the impressive roster don't you think?"

[Kazuma mopes as Aqua perks up.]

Aqua: "First we have me, an arch priest. Then we have (Y/N), a swordmaster. Megumin, an arch wizard, and now Darkness, a crusader! There aren't many parties where four out of the five members are advanced classes!"

[Kazuma angrily grunts at her before sighing in defeat.]

[Darkness continues to talk to the other members as Kazuma thinks to himself.]

Kazuma's Thoughts: "If she was, you know, normal, I wouldn't have a problem with her joining, I mean (Y/N)'s right, she's hot, still.."

[Darkness turns back to Kazuma.]

Darkness: "Well Kazuma, now that we are ally's, do not hesitate to use me as your shield."

[She then turns to you.]

Darkness: "That also applies to you as well (Y/N), if you ever need someone to protect you again like I did today, do not hesitate to call me."

[You smile and look away, scratching your hair.]

(Y/N): "Thanks Darkness, appreciate it."

Kazuma's Thoughts: "She's kinky, a real life masochist, to some people out there, most likely (Y/N), I bet this looks like the perfect set up, but from where I'm sitting, it's a recipe for disaster!"

[He looks up to see Darkness talking to you.]

Darkness: "If I fail to live up to my duties, feel free to reprimand me harshly, abandon me to the clutches of your enemy's if you wish."

[She looks down and starts to shake as she grabs onto your arms as you blush.]

Darkness: "I would not mind their clutches at all!~"

[Kazuma simply looks down and softly groans as Darkness then turns and outstretches a hand to him.]

Darkness: "Good sir, I look forward to working with you!"

(Y/N) and Darkness: "Konosuba!"

[Some time has passed as mostly everyone has filed out, either to head home or somewhere else in the town, most likely the brothels. You stand outside for some fresh air as inside Aqua and Megumin talk while Kazuma rests his head in his arms. You hear the door open next to you as you look and see Darkness. She looks around for a moment and spots you as she smiles, walking over to you.]

Darkness: "Now what are you doing out here so late?"

(Y/N): "Just getting some air, what about you?"

[She hums and looks out to the town.]

Darkness: "Same."

[She then turns her head back to you.]

Darkness: "I was also wishing to talk to you as well."

[You blush as you look to her.]

(Y/N): "Oh?"

[She chuckles lightly as she nods.]

Darkness: "Mostly about your offer, now that we are ally's, it would mean that we will get to work together more."

[You nod and think about you and Darkness fighting together.]

(Y/N): "Yeah.. it's nice."

[She softly hums as she looks at you.]

Darkness: "I look forward to working with you (Y/N)."

[You both now look out over the town for a bit, taking in each others company as well as the night breeze. After some time she looks at you.]

Darkness: "That sword. I heard you and Megumin talking about it before we met, what kinds of power does it wield?"

[You take out the headtaker and look at it.]

(Y/N): "Mostly just makes me stronger, as well as giving me some abilities, like that rush you saw with the cabbages.]

[She hums and nods.]

Darkness: "Would you mind if I held it?"

[You perk up and look at her, briefly looking away as you look down at the sword and hand it out to her. She gently takes it and holds it, seemingly weighing nothing to her at all. She lifts it and swings, a powerful force behind it as it blows your hair back some. You're taken aback as you look at her in awe.]

(Y/N): "Wow.. you've got some power behind those arms..."

[She gives out a startled yelp from the complement as she heartfully laughs.]

Darkness: "Well. I may not be able to hit anything, but that doesn't mean I don't know how to wield a sword."

[She outstretches her arms as she hands it back to you, your hands briefly brushing against each other as she takes them away.]

Darkness: "It is getting quite late, I should be heading back home now."

[She turns and starts to walk away before turning back and looking at you.]

Darkness: "I shall see you tomorrow (Y/N), have a good night."

[You smile at her.]

(Y/N): "You as well Darkness."

[She returns it as she nods her head. Turning back around and continuing home. The doors open up again as Kazuma, Aqua, and Megumin step out.]

Kazuma: "What happened out here?"

[Megumin looks between you and Darkness as she gets a sly look on her face.]

Megumin: "I could probably guess~"

Aqua: "Come on, lets head home, I'm tired after a long days work!~"

[Kazuma scoffs as he looks at her.]

Kazuma: "What, a long days work of shooting out water?"

Aqua: "Pure water thank you!"

[Megumin runs out in front as she looks back to the three of you.]

Megumin: "Yeah, I should be heading home now, I'll see you guys tomorrow!"

[She runs off, leaving you, Kazuma, and Aqua, the ladder two turning to you.]

Aqua: "So what did you and Darkness talk about out here?"

[You look back at them and smile before looking out to the town.]

(Y/N): "Just our future."

[You say nothing more as you begin off to the stables, leaving Aqua and Kazuma confused as they walk after you.]
