weirdest celebration
Monday morning, we were supposed to have classes today because, hey, it's Monday! But when we arrived at school, there were decorations, like a fiesta.
It was perfect timing that I saw Daisy and Kairos approaching me.
“Anong meron? may fiesta ba dito?” I asked, full of curiosity
“I have no idea what's happening.” Kairos said, clearly curious.
“Me either.” Daisy replied, her voice laced with sleepiness.
Since we're unaware of what's happening, we decided to explore and hopefully find if we can figure things out.
We arrived at the gymnasium, which was filled with decorations, predominantly in a deep, blood-red color.
“I think I figured it out.” Daisy said, raising an eyebrow.
“They're celebrating the victim's death, it's a victory for them.” Kairos said, his expression blank, his gaze piercing.
“They're actually celebrating the victim's death. Unbelievable.” I said, sarcastically
“Hmpt nauna ako ah, pabibo kay valery.” Daisy whispered something inaudible, her voice barely audible.
Kairos shot her a cold, threatening glance.
“oh come on, I'm just joking around, masyado ka namang pikon bro. ” she joked diniin pa ang pagbigkas ng 'bro'
“shut up daisy, you're going on my nerves.” Kairos let out a frustrated sigh, clearly annoyed by his sister
hindi ko na alam kung anong gagawin ko sa mag kapatid na'to, aso't puso ampt.
“should we celebrate too?” I guess my question caught their attention.
Yes, we should totally celebrate with this freaking celebration, or else they'll suspect us.' Kairos replied sarcastically.
“pwede bang kayo nalang ang u-mattend? feeling ko mabobored lang ako dito.” daisy said, pouted.
“sige, para kinabukasan ikaw naman ang may red envelope sa locker mo, do you like that?” Kairos raised an eyebrow as he questioned Daisy, while Daisy's only response to her brother was a silent smile. “then stay, stubborn.”
“I'm not stubborn, ano lang medyo but not that totally stubborn.” She tried to make an excuse, but I just smiled and teased her.
“whatever daisy, you're still really stubborn, Daisy.” I said, gently tapping her shoulder.
She responded by rolling her eyes at me, a playful way of showing she didn't agree. tss, malditang to.
I let out a laugh and teased her more.
“you're such a brat, Daisy!” She shot back a mock-offended look, and I couldn't help but laugh at her.
"'stubborn, brat... wow my life is just complete.” she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm as she threw her hands up in a dramatic flourish.
“ms and mr montello, glad you're here.” one guy suddenly appear in front of us.
HAHA, sheyt it's kinda awkward, hello I'm here too. -,-
“obviously.” it's was kairos.
“malamang.” daisy whispered.
“oh hi, you are ms. fuega, right?” the guy asked me.
“ye— because I could finish of what I'm going to say, kairos cut me off.
“don't talk to him, val. this guy is idoit.” he said, his face darkened.
“I know this guy very well, his going to hurt you...and I would never let it happen.”
