I couldn't stop laughing. "You were mugged by two prostitutes?"

"On two separate occasions!" Theo defended, but then stopped to think. "I guess that makes it worse."

I was full on wheezing, coughing uncontrollably on the grass. "And you said that wasn't even the worst part! How?"

"Well, I'll tell you how." Ares threw some sand in Theo's direction, but thanks to the wind, it flew back straight to his face.

"See that? That's karma." Theo sneered, blowing some smoke out. "We had absolutely no money left. Didn't even have enough for a bus ticket, so we had to catch a ride."

Oh man, this just keeps getting better.

"Stop laughing!" he smacked my head and narrowed his eyes. "Do you know what type of people drive to this place? Tell her, Ares."

"Tell her what?" He tilted his head to the side with a frown. Theo groaned and smacked him too. "Tell her what type of people drive- why are you not listening? Commit to the story telling!"

"Your mouth is moving, but all I can hear is a chihuahua barking." Ares blinked rapidly and looked down at the blunt in his hand. "How good is this stuff?"

"I can hear it too!" I gasped, and we looked at each other with wide eyes.

"Because there's a dog right there." Theo pointed at something behind us. Huh, look at that. A chihuahua.

How did Ares know it was a chihuahua's bark? What if that's his secret superpower, identifying dog species by their barking?

I eyed him suspiciously. What is he hiding from us?

"We switched six different cars, and every car was worse than the other." Theo turned my head, making me look him in the eye.

"We sat next to a junkie who believed he'll find his missing duck here. Side note, where did he get a duck? Never mind. Half way through the drive he saw a fucking pigeon and began driving after it." he rambled, waving his hands around.

My jaw hurts so much from laughing. I can't believe that while I thought they died they were chasing a pigeon. This is amazing.

"And let's not even start about the hooker's car. That's actually how we got robbed for the second time. You see, our buddy here-"

"Just shut up!" Ares tried to kick him, but his foot landed way too far. He stared frozen for a moment at the air he just kicked before turning his head to Theo. "Did you just teleport?"

I knew it. They both have superpowers, and they are plotting against me. Breath deep, Olive. You just have to be smart about it.

"I want to be a cowboy." Theo whispered. I leaned closer. Is that a code?

"I want a horse and I want to fall in love with a farmer boy and invent a talking cactus so our kids will have a best friend. Their names will be Harry, Ron and Hermione and-"

"Why are you monologuing?" Ares interrupted, looking alarmed. "Stop talking in speeches, it freaks me out."

"Shhh." I placed a hand on his mouth, shutting him up. "I want to hear if his kids will fight voldemort."

Theo gasped, pointing at me accusingly. "How did you know?"

"I've read the books!" I smiled brightly. I feel like I won a quiz.

"Someone wrote a book on my children?"

Wow. Is my secret superpower time traveling? "What year is this?" I hesitantly asked, looking around with wide eyes.

"fifteen seventy six and two seconds." Ares answered immediately. Can't doubt that confidence.

"Wait, is Kennedy still alive?" Theo's confused voice reached my ears, but I was too focused on the 'No smoking' sign in front of me.

"Oh shit, look!" I shook them by the shoulders, making them read the sign as well. "We're going to prison."

"I can't go to prison!" Ares jumped to his feet. "I will not have sex with dudes, no offense." he looked down at us.

"Where did the junkie get a duck?" Theo mumbled while I pulled him up. Ares grabbed us both and gave us a panicked look. "We need to leave before they'll track us down, come on!"

And then we ran. I don't even know where or how long, but for the first time here, it felt like home.

Right now I'm being carried on Ares' back, giving him a lecture. "Why did you have to make out with Keyla's girlfriend? Everything was so peaceful before."

He groaned and pinched my leg. "I'm sorry, she said she's twenty four and I just had to see if my game is good enough! And, as we all saw, it is."

He put his hand up for a high five, but Theo just stared at him blankly before speaking. "Think about it, everything is actually your fault."

"My fault? Hell no. Olive is the one who got kidnapped, that's on her." he tried to defend himself, and I rolled my eyes.

"I was kidnapped when I was two! How was it my-" I shot, but then widened my eyes in realization. "I live with my brothers!"

"Yes, that's why we're here. Do you have a brain damage?" Theo looked up to meet my eyes, but all he saw was my middle finger.

"You two have to meet them! They are so annoying, you'll fit right in." I said excitedly.

"Let's just reschedule to the day after I die." Ares suggested.

I smacked his head.

"I'm with him on this one. We're too high to meet them, even the squirrels are laughing at us." Theo exclaimed, pointing at two big rocks.

I smiled. "We just need to hide that fact! Come on, we can definitely do this."

"We can definitely not do this!" Ares whispered, looking at the mansion's gate with wide eyes. "Why are you living in a castle?"

"Shut up and keep the morale up! Watch and learn." I narrowed my eyes and guided them towards the pedestrians' gate.

As we got closer, the guards turned their heads to us. I could practically feel the tension oozing out of Ares and Theo.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the guards.

I thought I'll just go towards them and they'll recognize me and everything will be fine.

But there were a few tiny problems with that plan. I forgot it was dark, and I forgot that I had two big men with me.

"Stop walking!" One of the guards yelled, pointing his gun at us. A second later we had at least ten guns at our direction.

You know, in any other time I'd at least try to keep my cool, and the same goes for Ares and Theo! We can be really chill at gunpoint, it's this gift we have.

But as it turns out, we are too high for this shit. My bad.

So we screamed.

Ares tackled the three of us to the ground in a second, keeping us in place. Theo tried to escape his hold and run for his life, but Ares screamed at him to stay down. I was trying to kick him off me while screaming as well, and let me tell you, that was not a pretty sight. We were basically a human screaming pile.

When no gunshots were fired, we all gone silent. "What is happening?" Theo whispered, eyes still closed.

I took a deep breath and looked forward. There were too many guards, all staring at us with wide eyes. They lowered their guns, but they were still in their hands.

"Don't move, maybe they'll think we're not here." Ares mumbled, trying not to move his lips too much.

"This is not the jurassic park!" I panicked, trying to get my head out of Ares' hold. "They know I live here, let me show them my face."

Before I could do anything, two other figures came running out of the gate. "What were all those screaming?" one of them asked, and I sighed in relief. Amadeo.

"It's me!" I yelled, swatting away the hand Ares tried to put on my mouth. "It's Olive! I live with you, remember? Your sister!"

"I think they realized who you are when you said your name." Theo shushed me, and I shot him a look. I'll let the guards kill him next time.

Amadeo and, who I assume is Alessandro, started to run towards us.

I looked at Ares and Theo with a panicked expression. "Okay, we are not high. Remember that we are not- hey my lovely brothers who I adore so much." I screeched out, looking at them with a smile.

I am absolutely nailing it.

"What are you... Who are they? What is happening?" Amadeo rushed, pulling the three of us to our feet.

"That's what I asked!" Theo clapped his shoulder happily before looking at us with a smile. "What a cool guy, right?"

Ares cleared his throat and gestured subtly towards my brother's face. Both Theo and I looked up, and Amadeo was shooting daggers at Theo's hand that was still on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry, I will never touch you or anything else ever again in my entire life." he took a step back, only to run straight into Alessandro.

He was looking at him and Ares with narrowed eyes, and I was starting to get really scared for them.

They both gulped. "Hey Olive, remember when you said 'watch and learn'?" Ares asked sarcastically, looking at my two oldest brothers with a cautious smile.

"Thank you so much for the learning opportunity."
