Sorry for the late update guys, I changed my phone and lost all my notes, just recovered them back.

I'm back and there's no stopping now Let's unfold Dimitri's and Cora's story together 😁😁

Ever since the incident with Cora and Dimitri, the whole house has seemingly been too quiet and somber. Everyone was locked up in their own cocoon of thoughts, guilts was flying around in everybody's mind but none was as huge and consuming as Dimitri's.

He wasn't even productive at work or handling the mafia, Viss had noticed this. He knew for the past few weeks, his boss has been preoccupied with a lot. He didn't know what happened but he wasn't too happy it was affecting his boss this much.

They were having a meeting right now and from across the room he can tell Dimitri wasn't even listening to anything being said, his mind was somewhere else.

He also noticed that his boss has stopped torturing the girl that has been with them for the past few months. Personally he's not one to pry in businesses that don't concern him but he's been dying to know why Dimitri has her here.

His thoughts drifted to the day he took her from the house, it was quite easy for him to do so. All he had to do was just create a diversion and they all left her there, even with two guards it was quite easier than he'd been told.

He knew he was going to get a very vicious and renowned killer but what he didn't expect was to find her like that, she looked exactly as described but she acted nothing like it.

Getting her was too easy for him His eyes drifted back to his boss and he looked worried, he wanted to ask him why the sudden change in atmosphere for the past few weeks but he's a bit skeptical.

"I'll take care of the drug Lord, y'all just keep an eye out for any foul play" Viss told them dismissing the meeting immediately.

The whole room erupted with noise and chair scraping as all the men filled out of the room, leaving just Viss and Dimitri. He still hadn't noticed that his second in command had dismissed the meeting.

"Boss" Viss's voice resounded in the huge room, only then did Dimitri snap out of his daze. He looked up at Viss, and looked around the room to see that everyone had left

He breathe out running his hands through his face "When did everyone leave"? He asked looking at Viss and he just shrugged

"About a few seconds ago" he muttered moving closer to Dimitri "Dimitri, are you okay"? There are only a few times when Viss had ever had to call Dimitri by his name, and they were really crucial times and this was one of those times. He wanted to know what was wrong with his boss.

"I'm fine Viss" Dimitri whispered looking at Viss, he knew his second in command only wanted to know what was wrong and he appreciated him for that, but he couldn't bring himself to tell Viss what he'd done.

"You just seem worried and pretty occupied lately, is everything okay"? He asked and Dimitri just nodded his head before pushing his seat back and standing up.

"I'm fine, I just have a lot on my mind, but it's nothing I can't handle" he says reassuring his second in command, Viss didn't buy it but he had no choice than to agree.

The truth is, Dimitri has been really occupied and dying of guilt, especially after confirming that the lady in his custody is not Cara but Cora.

Why didn't he ever see this? He was blinded by revenge, now he got it but on the wrong person.

He hadn't seen her since that day and it's been almost a month, he had seen Ivan though, they didn't even talk He didn't know what he'd say to his cousin. He had hurt him pretty bad.

He had been looking for ways to approach her and talk to her, but what would he even tell her? Would she even listen to him?

Ever since her talk with Ivan, Cora hadn't really said much again, although she noticed the looks Ivan always gave her whenever he was around her.

She didn't want him to pity her, and she didn't want him to feel guilty either. None of it was his fault. Another thing is they never got to talk about that kiss, the one they shared the day Dimitri raped her.

She doesn't even know if he still like her like that, he had been careful around her. He didn't really make physical contact with her, but he still came to see her everyday without failure, he brought food for her and clothes.

He didn't let her go outside the room and no one asides him came inside the room. She didn't know why but she so badly wanted to ask him about Dimitri.

What was he doing? Would he kill her now that he knows she's not Cara? Would he molest her again after that first time? Would he let her go knowing she's not Cara??

A lot of thoughts were on her mind. The door creaked open and Ivan walked in. She looked up at him and just gave a tight lipped smile, he returned it before sitting close to her on the bed

"Hey" he whispered

"Hi" she whispered back looking away from him, things have been a bit awkward between them since the incident

"Are you okay"? He asked examining her and she just nodded, he knew she was only trying to play it cool, she's not okay, she can't be okay after what Dimitri did to her.

But he chose not to push it, she'll talk to him when she feels like it, she'll open up when she's comfortable enough.

"I'm going out, do you wanna come with"? He asked and she just looked at him with shock written all over her face, he was seriously asking her to go with him.

"No I'm fine here, you go ahead" she whispered out playing with her fingers, she didn't feel comfortable going out of the room, let alone the house, Ivan sighed out thinking for a while before he spoke again.

"I don't wanna leave you here again, the last time I did, I know what happened" he said seriously facing her "I know Dimitri is not going to try anything again, but I'll be more comfortable knowing you're with me" he added making her chuckle a bit.

"What more can he do to me that he hasn't already done" she muttered out, she didn't really care anymore if he wanted to keep molesting her or not. "I'll be fine, just go do your thing Ivan"

Ivan could see the pain in her eyes, he wanted to take it all away but he couldn't, he pulled her close to him and kissed her forehead. This surprised her a bit, since the incident this will be the first time he'd be getting this close to her like he used to.

"I won't be gone long, lock the door behind me" he muttered before getting up and walking towards the door, he casted one last look at her before walking out.

She didn't bother to lock the door, because she wasn't really scared anymore. She didn't really care per say.

Gunshots Loud gunshots coming from outside, she was frantic and panicking. What was happening outside the house.

Was it some sort of training or were they under an attack. It reminded her of the day she was taken from Enzo's mansion, it started out like this

She wouldn't sit here and get taken again by someone she doesn't know, she quickly ran into the bathroom and locked the door, she was trembling and breathing hard

Why was her life so hard. Each gunshot was louder than the last, and she flinched at every sound. She heard the door to her room open, she quickly covered her mouth to stop her from screaming and drawing attention to herself.

Whoever was in the room, didn't have to know she was hiding in there, she so badly wanted to peep and see who it was but she was too scared

"Cora" the voice sounded from inside her room, she knew no one knew her as Cora here except of course, Ivan. And this voice doesn't belong to Ivan, she knows whose voice it is but she was to scared to respond.

"Cora where are you"? He asked again before coming in front of the door, he tried to open but it was locked "shit" he muttered.

She would never open this door for him, how was he going to convince her to come outside, they were under attack and if he leaves her here, she'd be taken.

"Cora open the door, it's me Dimitri, I'm not going to hurt you" he begged but she just stared at the door with her trembling hands

"Cora I'm here to help you, I won't hurt you, I promise" he pleaded but she didn't even move, she was contemplating opening the door or just leaving him there, what if he was lying?

Dimitri felt someone from behind, someone else had entered the room, he quickly turned and came face to face with two masked men.

He sighed out, he was armed but looking at the two men in front of him, before he would reach for his gun, they may have shot him, so he did the first thing that came to his mind.

He ran and hid beside the bed, the room was big enough that before the men could get to him, he'd have prepared his moves and how to take them out.

"Search the room, I'll hold him off" one of the men grunted out before moving stealthy towards the bed where Dimitri had hidden

Cora could hear the pin drop silence in the room, the only sound she could hear was her own heartbeat which was increasing by the second, she wondered what was going on outside the bathroom.

She walked towards the door and gently put her ears on it to see if she could hear anything from the other side but she didn't hear anything.

Suddenly the door opened, almost making her fall face flat on the other side, she came face to face with a gruff looking man, he had a gun in his hands

Her eyes quickly darted behind him and she saw Dimitri struggling with another who had a gun in his hands too, their grunts were the only thing she could hear.

"Miss you need to come with me now" the man said grabbing her wrist, but she was quick to withdraw it back, she looked at him fearfully, who is he and why does he want her to follow him.

"The boss asked us to get you, Enzo" he said looking at the frightened young lady in front of him, she does look very much like their Donna

On hearing Enzo's name her ears perked up and she looked at him with hope, was Enzo here? Did they finally come to rescue her?

"We don't have enough time" the man rushed out looking back at his colleague still in a struggle with Dimitri, he could see his colleague already beaten and battered by the vicious Don.

Without thinking she rushed out of the bathroom and followed the strange man, without even sparing Dimitri a glance

They both walked out of the room and running towards them from the hallway, was Enzo.

She felt relief wash over her at the familiar face she was seeing, she wasn't dreaming, he really is here and to save her.

He quickly stopped in front of her almost out of breath and his shirt covered in blood "Are you okay"? He asked examining her and she nodded looking at him, he was here flesh and blood.

"Come let's take you home" he muttered before grabbing her wrist, they hadn't even gone far when she heard it, a loud gunshot, coming from the room she just left.

She stopped dead in her tracks and looked back, she contemplated going back but Enzo just jerked her back to reality and she turned around and followed him out of the house.

On their way out, there were lots of dead bodies in the living room and outside the house. Enzo pulled her with him until they got to a black SUV with tinted windows

He opened the door and she got in before he got in through the other side, he couldn't wait for two of his men he left with Dimitri, if they're lucky they'll make it out alive, but he couldn't risk keeping Cora here any longer than necessary.

They were lucky almost All of Dimitri's men were not here, and it wouldn't take long for them to know, the mansion's under attack, so they had to leave quickly.

He ordered the driver to move the car. Cora's eyes were trained on the building that once served as her prison. A place she'll always remember.

She wished she'd seen Ivan one last time before she left, she sure was going to miss him Would he even know where she is? Even if he does, he won't be able to see her again.

She was free Free from Dimitri at last But she wasn't ecstatic or happy about it. She'd lost a huge part of herself already And she doubt she'd ever be the same again.

She's finally free from the devil 😈 😁😁 Yayyyyy!!!
