I didn't think it'll take me this long to get my cousin out of Enzo's house but i was wrong I underestimated the man.

I was sitting in the dimly lit room and the only sound that could be heard was that of the AC whiring and the click sound of the flicker of my lighter.

There was no way I'd go in guns blazing into Enzo's house, that'll be suicide. I'm not in my country or territory.

I may be feared by many but I didn't get that title by being reckless, i had to thread carefully if I wanted to get Ivan out in one piece.

I know Enzo is only trying to bait me, Ivan was only being used as bait to catch me, and going there guns blazing would be handing myself to Enzo on a platter of Gold

I'm not that stupid, i had to think and do it fast. I have been here for almost a week now and there was no progress in getting my cousin back.

There was a knock on my door and I looked towards the door before muttering a 'come in'

The door opened and Viss walked in, he looked to be having a lot on his mind, I do too.

"Boss" he muttered and I just looked at him with a bored expression, he sighed out as if dreading to speak.

"We've been here almost a week and we still haven't found Ivan" he said catching my attention "don't you think we should head back home and restrategize and come back"? He asked.

I flick the lighter one more time before standing up, Viss stood about two inches shorter than me

"I know where he is" I muttered and I see his eyes widened a bit before he speaks.

"Then why shouldn't just go get him"? He asked making me chuckle, sometimes he acts as if he's not my underboss

"We can't, because he's in Enzo's mansion, going there without any plan will be suicide, even for me" I tell him.

"I know you're worried about the family, which is why you're gonna head home with Sash first thing tomorrow, I'll stay back and look for a way to get Ivan back and make Enzo pay" I tell him.

I know his worries are about the mafia back home, without a don or an underboss, it's bound to be in ruins already.

Someone needs to be there to handle it, so I'm sending Viss and Sasha back while I'll stay in Italy and handle Enzo.

Viss just nodded before walking out of the room leaving me to my thoughts again. Letting my mind wander far, i stumbled upon the the thoughts of her

I'd been trying to evade it but i can't anymore. Like always all i could think of was her face, those innocent eyes and those pouty lips

I quickly shook my head, what am i doing? I needed to set my head straight, my mission here was simple, get Ivan out and show Enzo who's boss.

And i know just how to do it. I was going to use her. Of course she might not agree to it, but i would still try anyway.

If she felt grateful for all Ivan ever did for her while she was with them, then this was the time to show it.

Lurking in the shadows, I was watching her from afar. She had gone into the store and was taking too long than he expected.

I had been watching her right from the moment she left Enzo's mansion, i was risking a lot following her but I had to do it

If I knew her as well as i thought then definitely, she had a soft spot for Ivan and wouldn't hesitate to want to help him, also she was a very soft hearted person.

After lurking in the alley for over thirty minutes, she finally comes out, she's squinting at the sun, her nose scrunched up and her lips forming a cute pout.

She'd trying to get a cab, and I can tell she was in a hurry because I'm sure she sneaked out of the house.

She starts walking towards where I'm standing, not exactly where I'm standing but pretty close, she stops right in front of the alley with her back to me

She's too innocent for this world, she doesn't even know someone is watching her or even standing this close to her. I just shake my head at her before taking two steps closer to her.

I'm standing right behind her and I feel her tense, she's about to turn but my voice stops her.

"Don't turn around and don't make a sound, just walk" I mutter out, the close proximity between us is messing with my head, I can hear her scent from up here, and it's fucking heavenly.

Focus Dimitri.

I nudge her forward and she starts walking towards my car, with me right behind her. Her frame is so small, and looking at her from behind I can't help but compare her again to the lady I met a few nights ago at the event with Enzo.

They are twins but they're nothing alike. I didn't like how innocent she is, a lot of people would prey on that, now I understand why she was kept hidden from the public.

We stop at the side of my car and I open the door for her "Get in" I grit out and she doesn't move

"I'm not going anywhere with you" she whispers and all my senses starts spiraling out of control, I didn't realize how much I'd so badly wanted to hear that voice again.

I breathe out heavily "You don't have a choice принцесса" I mutter close to her ears, I feel her tense at my closeness "Get in or I'll make you" I threaten and I see her gulp before she slowly slides into the car, I shut the door and go over to the other side and get in too.

It takes me a while before I look towards her, she hasn't changed, only added a bit of weight from being the scrawny girl with me a month ago.

She's still as innocent looking and beautiful too, her dark hair glistening in the light and her face looks scared.

She's not looking at me, she hasn't looked at me and it just ticks me off. Since I'd done that to her, this'll be the first time we'd be in a space together.

I so badly wanted her to look at me, even though I know she's only going to bear hate for me in those brown orbs but I still want to see it.

I didn't think we'd meet in such circumstances, ever since that day, I had always wanted to apologise to her the first chance I get, but now here we are and I can't even say shit.

Truth be told, I'm fucking nervous, she makes me nervous. Her silence unnerves me, it makes me conscious of everything happening.

"Where are you taking me"? She finally asks in a whisper, still not looking at me.

"To get my cousin back" I mutter out and her head whips up to look at me, for the first time since meeting her again, I have a chance to look at her face and her eyes.

Flawless as it should be. I see shock, confusion then anger all settle in her eyes

And I can't help but let a smirk tug at my lips

I never should have left the house alone What was I thinking? Oh right, I wanted to get drugs for Ivan

After the whole incident with Cara a few days ago, she and Enzo hadn't said anything to me, and Ivan had been running a temperature since yesterday, he hasn't been getting the required treatment and I know there's no way Cara would even agree to the idea of a doctor coming to check him.

So the first chance I got today, I snuck out of the house to get him drugs from a drug store but now it came back to bite me in the ass.

Why? Because I'm sitting in the car with none other than the Devil himself Dimitri

The same man that kidnapped and tortured me for months on end. And he's about to embark on a suicide mission, or at least that's what he told me.

He looked the same Still devilish and fearless The same evil glint in his eyes No pity whatsoever.

I wonder what he's going to do to me this time. Probably use me as a bargaining chip to get Ivan back.

God I'm loosing my mind I'm in the car with the father of my child and he doesn't even know it My hands move to my stomach as I rub on it, I can see his eyes briefly glance towards my hands on my stomach before he looks ahead, jaws clenched

I don't know where he's driving me to. I bet it's not going to end well. He's a monster and just like the first time, he has me in his clutches.
