She scrunches her nose up before looking at me "It's not ridiculous" she mutters "Please don't say no, I'm really bored" she pleads giving me a dog puppy eyes and those pouting lips.

I close my eyes "I'm so going to regret this" I whisper out before getting up "let's go" I hear her squeal out loud and I smile, seeing her happy warms my heart

Our steps are cut short by my phone ringing, I look at the ID and it's the guy I asked to tap into Enzo's phone, I pick up holding up a finger for Cora to give me a minute

"Hello" I mutter into the phone and I hear shuffling

"Boss, sorry to disturb you but I have new information on Enzo" he says making me more interested

After a while of talking to him on the phone I walk back to where Cora was and I see her looking at me with expectations

"Please don't tell me we have to cancel because you have business to take care of" she groans out

"It's Enzo" with that one word her whole face changes, she knows it's something serious "The guy I put on his phone, got the information that he'll be meeting someone else today but we don't know who that is but he thinks it has something to do with Ivan or me" I tell her

She nods "okay so what are we gonna do now"? She asks and I just look at her with raised brows

"We? принцесса you're gonna go home while I tail him" I tell her and she snorts

"Like hell I will, we're going together" she mutters making me sigh out

"When did you become so stubborn"? I groan out to her

"I've always been this stubborn Volkov" she shoots back at me

"Cora, I can't take you with me"

"Not this again, we're not having this argument again Dimitri, I'm going with you period, now come on let's go" she says walking out the door.

God this girl will be the death of me, I pick up my gun quickly and my car keys before checking on the location the guy sent me and rushing out to meet her standing beside my car.

Turns out Enzo had a lot of places he had to be at and guess what, we followed him the whole time

Practically the whole day and now it's almost seven and we're still following him, his next stop is at a club, well a club to regular people but it's only meant to cover shady things

We pull up minutes after his car does and we both watch him go in, Cora starts trying to get out of the car but I stop her.

"What are you doing, let's follow him" she whines

"No stop, Cora you can't go in there, you're gonna have to wait for me here" I tell her looking at her and she's in disbelief

"What do you mean wait for you in here"? She almost spits out

"Cora, it's too dangerous in there, I can't let you follow me" not with your face looking like that, a lot of people will want to harm you and I can't let that happen.

"Dimitri it's a club" she says matter of fact

"It's not just a club, can you just listen to me for once and just stay in the car" I almost yell and I regret it just immediately

"And can you just listen to me for once and stop bossing me around, I can take care of myself" she snaps, snatching her arm from my grip before getting out of the car

I just sigh out before hopping out too, this is gonna be a long night

We both walk into the club, it's not that packed yet, which is a good thing. I look to my side and see her looking around, I know this is one of the many things she's never done.

I lead her to the bar and we take our seat, I look around and find the VIP wing, the curtain is closed Bingo!

That's where Enzo is having his meeting, I nudge her lightly and she looks at me

"He's in there" I whisper to her and she nods

"So how long do we have to wait"? She asks and I shrug

"I don't know, as long as it takes, for now let's blend in" I tell her and I see her look around again

She doesn't seem interested in the club or it's activities, and I can also tell she's pissed, ever since our conversation in the car she's been angry at me

We've been sitting here for the past thirty minutes and I'm sure Enzo isn't even near done with his meeting.

I can tell she's getting tired, she's been sighing and looking at the VIP section all too much, she'll blow our cover

"Stop looking at it like that" I whisper below her ear

"What"? She asks

"The VIP section, stop looking at it like that, you'll blow our cover" i tell her and she quickly looks away muttering a 'sorry'

She quickly grabs my hand "oh shit"

I look at her and see get trying to hide her face "What is it"? I ask looking around, there are a few men sitting at the far end of the bar and the club, and others are just dancing

"Enzo's men, they're here, and they'll know me" she whispers and I tense up.

"Do they know you"? I ask looking around and she just gives me a pointed look

"Of course they know me" she grits out

"No no, I mean can they tell the difference between the two of you"? I ask and she shakes her head

"I don't think so, and that's why it's even worse" she quickly looks around and I feel her tense "One's coming this way, shit I'm doomed" she rushes out looking around "Dance with me" she says looking up at me

"What"?

"Dance with me" she pulls me to the dance floor the other way and she quickly starts dancing, or attempts to, she's really bad at it

I pull her close to me by her waist and whisper into her ear "relax принцесса and follow my lead" I start moving slowly and so does she

Slowly and gently she starts getting it, she looks up and our eyes meet, I drown out the rest of the music, it's just her She's the only one I see right now, and she's fucking beautiful.

Her eyes dart from mine to behind me and I see them widen

"He's still coming this way, shit he's gonna know, or maybe he already does" she starts panicking again

I want to turn but she grips my shoulders "don't look"

Warm, soft and tender lips meet mine, it takes me a minute before I realize what's happening, I open my eyes and see hers closed with her lips firmly pressed against mine.

She wants to pull back, but then I start responding and my grip on her waist tightens as I pull her closer to me, she's flushed against me, all the noise from the club is washed down to just muffled voices in my head

The only thing on my mind, Is the kiss happening right now. Never have I ever kissed anyone and felt like this With Vera, it was fucking different.

This kiss is pure, innocent, it feels fucking right What the fuck have we done?
