"You're right, you're beginning to show" he muttered looking at my stomach and I just nodded, playing with the board puzzle in front of me "What are they saying"? He asks and I just shrug

"Nothing, they aren't saying anything, personally I don't really care what they would say" I tell him and he just nods.

"I'm sorry" he blurted out and I look at him, his green eyes have gone back to the original dull look they always carry

"It's fine" I whisper looking away

"No it's not, it's not fine, I shouldn't have...." He paused searching for the right words "I shouldn't have done that to you and nothing can excuse what I did" he ends looking at me

I just give him a weak smile "Seriously Dimitri, it's fine" I breathe out "I wanna hate you for it, I should hate you for it, infact I did hate you for it, but I just.... I guess I'm too nice and I couldn't keep hating you for it" I mutter out

We both fall into silence before he speaks up "you know he told me" he says making me look up at him "Ivan, he once told me that I had the wrong person, but I didn't believe him, I thought because he liked you, he was trying to make me let you go" he adds

"He did"? I asked in surprise and he nodded

"Yeah, he was so sure it wasn't Cara but I wouldn't listen" he whispered "Does he know"? He asks and I just nod

"He does" I mutter out looking away from him "he knew before you did" I add going back to my puzzle

The room falls silent again as we both just focus on the puzzle, my mind is not on it but I'm still fixing it

"Do you wanna talk about it"? He asks making me look at him again.

"Dimitri, we are talking about it" I mutter and he just shakes his head, with a small smile on his lips

"Not that, the night at the club, do you wanna talk about it"? He asks making me tense and sweaty, my palms have suddenly become slippery

I quickly look away from him, he had to go and bring this up now Goddamn him

"Oh you mean the uhm... The uh... The kiss"? I stutter and he just nods

"Yes the kiss"

"It's just a kiss, there's nothing to talk about, I was trying not to blow my cover that's all" I rush out and I see his lips tug in a smile, he's enjoying this

"Okay, if that's what you say" he says as if taunting me

"That's what it is" I mutter before closing the board and getting up

"Where are you going?? He asks and I just awkwardly point to the kitchen

"I'm going to get water, you want some"? What the hell is wrong with me, I mentally face palm myself

He chuckles before shaking his head "no, not really"

I just turn and rush into the kitchen before he sees the blush on my cheek or hear how fast my heart is beating.

I thought he'd never talk about it, I thought he'd never ask about it. I thought we had a secret agreement not to bring it up, but no. He just did.

Now I'm going to be avoiding him because everything is going to be awkward again Way to go Dimitri.

Staying around Dimitri has officially turned me into something else. Things I wouldn't normally do, I'm daring to do them.

Like going through Enzo's stuff when he's not around, and sneaking around his and Cara's room

But right now, I'm being borderline stupid and I might possibly get caught, because I don't know why I'm in Enzo's study while he's still at home.

He's just downstairs, and I'm in his study, going through his stuff again. I can't really find anything, but I'm tempted to go through that file about Fabio

I quickly fish out the USB drive with me and I look at it then at Enzo's laptop, can I guess his password? It definitely will have something to do with Cara.

It's worth a shot, I quickly go over to his laptop and open it, I'm about to insert the USB, when I notice he already has a tab opened.

It's a video of some sort, should I close it? If I do will I be able to find it back, I'm looking at the screen but I'm not even watching the video, it takes a minute before o realize it's a live feed, of some sort of cabin

I look closely and I see someone tied up on the floor, and..... Oh shit it's Ivan This is a live feed of where Ivan is being held.

I tap back and I see so many other live videos pop up, obviously of the place, but one catches my eyes, it's.....the living room.

Why is there a live feed of the living room with that of Ivan's location..... Holy smokes, He's been here the whole time They never took him out of the mansion.

He's been in the mansion, they only changed him from the basement I'm about to go back to the live feed on Ivan when I hear Enzo's voice outside the door.

I'm dead So very dead, he's coming this way

I need to hide. I quickly look around but there's no place to hide, unless under the table, and he might catch me there.

But I can't let him find me snooping around his study, my eyes zero in on the curtain. Yes yes the curtain, they're big enough to cover me.

I'm about to run there when I notice the tab is still on the living room live feed, I quickly find the one with Ivan and I put it there before rushing into the curtains.

Not up to a minute the door opens And I'm sure Enzo just walked in. God I hope he doesn't catch me

"I know where he is" I burst in through the door, not even knocking, I'm a bit out of breathe

"There's something called knocking принцесса, you should try it sometime" he muttered obviously not even listening to me.

"I know where he is, Ivan, I know where he is" I rush out breathlessly and I see his eyes widen

"Really? Where"? He asks standing up

"He's been in the mansion the whole time, he never left, they just moved him from the basement to somewhere else, but he's in the mansion" I explain

"How do you know this"? He asks and I roll my eyes at him.

"Because I saw it" I say in a duh tone "I was going through Enzo's study...." He cut me off

"What? You were going through Enzo's study, what if he caught you"? He asked and I just groan out.

"But he didn't, now let me finish, I was going through his study and then I decided to use his Laptop for something and that was where I saw the live feed video of the whole mansion and Ivan was in one of the rooms" I rush out

"Okay, did you figure out which one"? He asks and I just shake my head

"No, that's the problem, I don't really know everywhere in the mansion, just some places" I mutter out

I see his shoulders visibly slump "okay, it's okay, at least we know where he is now" he muttered rubbing his chin

Only then do I notice he's completely naked from the waist up, yep, Dimitri is standing shirtless in front of me.

I can't help but let my eyes wander his body, covered in different tattoos, I wonder what they all mean, his chiseled abs and toned chest, I wonder what they'll feel like if I touch them.

My eyes move until they land on his, he has a smirk on his face. He just caught me eyes raping him, I clear my throat and look away

"Why are you naked"? I blurt out, way to be subtle Cora

"I'm not naked" he says

"I mean why aren't you putting on a shirt"? I ask again and he takes a step towards me.

"Because it's hot" he muttered

"And you're inside with ACs" I say matter of fact, and he takes another step

"And so? Does it bother you принцесса" he taunts and I just clear my throat looking away from his chest

"No, no it doesn't bother me, you can be naked for all I care" I voice out

"Fine" he says before going back to sit down

"Fine" I mutter out feeling my cheeks heat up, I really shouldn't make decisions when I'm nervous, I can see a smirk on his face.

The book is not really a romantic book, and it's not really a sad book

It's just somewhere in between.

But there are a lot of mysteries to uncover
