Lucas's pov



Sigh, I hate mornings. After waking Lia up we get dressed and go down for breakfast.



Knowing Lia is still a little sad about what happened yesterday I say morning and get a couple mornings back. “You guys ready to go shopping? ” Daniella says with a big smile which looks exactly like Lia's smile. Before we can answer Carter says “You were gonna go shopping without me” making a hurt but shocked face at his mom. People around the table roll their eyes at him and continue eating as if he never said anything.

Drinking my coffee and staring at nothing in particular we hear someone clear their throat, I don't bother to look at them because I already know who it is. “We'd all like to apologize for all the things we said yesterday it was very rude and insensitive of us, we're not asking you to forgive us, just give us a second chance ” Damon says All eyes are on us and I can tell Lia's getting uncomfortable so I break the tension by asking Dante “Where's my cigarette? ” This earns me a slap at the back of my head by Laureline. “He means that you're all forgive ”she says with a light laugh I glare at her and take the last piece of bacon on her plate “that's for hitting me” she gives me her puppy dog eyes but I push her face with my hand lightly and eat the bacon. She sighs and drinks her water. “Who else wants to come to the mall with us” Daniella asks Fabio, Dante, Damon, Fabian and Lucian are all going to work for meetings and other stuff so it's just Me, Daniella, Lia, Lorenzo, Carter and Emilio.

We go to the garage and I felt like I was in heaven they had every car from sports cars to suvs.



“Can you drive? ” I hear Carter ask “Since I was 13, I don't actually have a license but I can” I say to him “Maybe we can ask dad to get you one” he says casually. I look at him to see if he's kidding but he looks serious “I'll take your word for it ” giving him a light nod. “Wanna race? ” Carter asks and before I could answer. “No no no, no one is going to race, it's too dangerous” Daniella shouts as she makes her way to us “Come on mom my middle name is danger” Carter says “No it's Javier” she says in a bored tone. “Mom you know he'll do it anyway, just let them race” Lorenzo says trying to reason with his mother. “Fine but only today Carter. You're already influencing your brother ” Daniella says making Lia laugh “Are you also racing? ” as she looks at Lia “I can't drive” she responds They all take an SUV while Carter and I decide what to drive.



I take the Lamborghini revuelto and Carter takes the Bugatti chiron



We start the race by the gate, we're neck and neck then I see a truck moving on the same lane I'm in so I hit the gas pedal and miss the truck by only an inch and move into Carter's lane then back in mine. I step on it a little more when I see the mall come into view. I beat Carter with just a little distance between us this showed me that he was a really good racer.

We get out of the cars and Lorenzo is laughing at his brother. “Good race, I say to him” he laughs and says “next time we bet money” I nod knowing that we both enjoyed the race and we'd be doing it again. Carter isn't all that bad if I do says so myself and that's saying something cause I don't really like anyone but Lia. I can see Lia's also a little more comfortable with Daniella and Emilio and it makes me feel better knowing she has people who care for her because she deserves to be happy.

We were walking around the mall buying clothes Daniella was helping Lia pick out some clothes seeing as she didn't know what she wanted. I on the other hand didn't want clothes but Daniella just started dumping clothes in the cart for me. She took tuxedoes, sweaters, t-shirts, jeans, jackets and shoes. She also took dresses, skirts, shoes, jackets, t-shirts and some stuff from Victoria's secret for Lia . I was gonna go in with Lia but Lorenzo grabbed me and said that it's a langerie store so I waited outside, peeking inside the store to make sure she was okay every once in a while. We bought sketch books and Daniella being a fashion designer told me which pencils she likes using the most. I guess that's where I got my drawing skills from. We bought electronics and school supplies and got hungry so we decided to buy some food at the food court. After eating we went home and started putting our clothes in the closets.

It was a long day of organizing clothes and when we were finished we didn't think we could have do many clothes.
