Y/N had made it to lunch before the others and had already found a table for them to sit at. She waited for their arrival which they did a couple minutes later. The cafeteria echoed with noise, something she hated at the moment.
She had a headache that only grew slightly worse, and the cause of which was with all this noise. The others soon arrived at the table and they all sat there in complete silence.
Like, what were they supposed to say at this point?
The situation at hand just keeps getting worse and worse, mostly. The group was stuck in a different dimension with clearly no way out and would most likely keep having to do this for the rest of their life.
'One of us is going to die soon if we don't do anything.' Thought Y/N with a dazed expression, and just as she thought of something.
Tyler suddenly spoke, causing her to snap out of her thoughts. This caught the group's attention, including hers.
"I think we should go back to Savannah." Said a tired Tyler, but also in a serious manner.
"I thought everyone agreed it was too dangerous...?" Logan asked, a slight sweat emitted from his face.
"So what? We're just supposed to let things stay like they are?"
Ashlyn replied to his question, "I'd rather be semi-stuck than permanently stuck."
"Well maybe if you would have told us the truth from the beginning, we wouldn't be stuck at all!" Tyler argued.
While this was happening in a cafeteria, where Y/N could feel at least sense some glances pointing at their table. She was annoyed by how ridiculous he was to shout and be so loud at this point.
"I already explained why I didn't-"
Aiden came cutting in the conversation, "Aren't you the one to talk." He said as he held a French fry in hand. "You're the one that brushed it off as a prank and walked off." He stated.
"If she had said anything, would you have even believed her?" With a mocking grin he said, "With your personality, I seriously doubt it."
Enraged, Tyler slammed his hands on the table. "Whether I would have believed it or not she should have said something!"
In the meantime, Y/N fought the urge to tell him to shut up. However, she didn't have the strength in her voice to do so since it still felt sore. She had to clench her hands to compose herself. However, there was a limit to that.
"Now we're stuck in some demonic dimension, running away from flesh-eating deadly creatures, I've lost count how many near-death experiences I've had, none of us have slept in days, we can't tell our parents or any-"
Right as he was about to continue with his Y/N stood up, slamming her hands on the table making the group startled and look at her in surprise.
"Tyler if you keep doing this, you'll be causing a bigger scene." She had to force herself to speak, holding a finger to her mouth to indicate him to be quiet.
He realized this and the two took a seat, but that didn't stop him from continuing.
"If we don't go back to Savannah where this cycle begun..." Tyler said with a much slightly lowered tone, "Then what are we supposed to do?"
It was silent. They all knew he was right, but they knew dangerous. Even though he was mostly right, they kept their thoughts to themselves.
'Even so, it's a risk to take. Since Savannah was the source of all this, it could bring us back to how things were before. But, I feel have a feeling it isn't going to be easy. Though, should we really-?'
Should we risk it...?

TWO WEEKS AGO
In a dark room, the curtains were closed. A girl with H/C was on her bed with wireless earphones, listening to music while sketching.
Much wasn't on the girl's mind, and there wasn't much for the girl's interests to start something new so she stuck with drawing. Since there wasn't much she could do. So to put it simply, she is a complete introvert who has no friends or any other relatives to talk to.
Though to be completely honest she never really liked socializing to begin with. To her, it'll just be a waste of time, who needs friends when she has the one thing she loves most, and that is her love for drawing. Drawing was her passion, it was her way of expressing herself and what she loved. It filled her mind with nothing but peace.
Another thing she loves is music. Once a single tune is played in Y/N's ears it makes her feel engraved in the beat. It felt calming, depending on the music she plays. Playing music helps her visualize what she plans to draw.
Whenever she does this it just makes her feel a sense of peace, forgetting both her problems and reality. It made her feel, happy. Something she rarely even expresses. But doing these things is a way of expressing her emotions, and she could probably do this all day.
"Y/N...it's time for school." Her dad said who stood by the door of her room with his arms crossed, his body slightly leaning on the door and with a smile on his face.
But unfortunately, that can't be possible when she has school to attend.
Her dad was the only one raising her ever since her mom died of cancer a few years ago. All of which is when she was young. It was stressful for two, both of which had their tough times. Even through all of that they still managed.
As a single parent dealing with only the financial problems and dealing with his only daughter, he still managed. He worked day and night in a small business with few people working. The salary they earn is very little, but he takes it. There was also a small problem.
His boss was very strict, making him do overtime, a lot. This caused him to get little sleep as well as being depressed than he already was. With how little money he earns the thought of his daughter and his deceased wife, it was hard. Because of the lack of sleep, he sees hallucinations of the love of his life.
This would frequently happen, the thought of his wife had a big effect on him. But he also knew he couldn't be in this state forever. Though he knew that his wife was there with him. Even so, he pushes through to make her happy. However, this lack of sleep makes it impossible to work.
This resulted in him earning less pay than he usually did, resulting in the two being evicted from their very own home. They hoped for the best and tried to call any other family contact they had, but they unexpectedly refused, saying it would be a burden to them.
The father and daughter duo had no choice but to resign in a shelter, it wasn't all bad. But to say the least, things were looking great for the two. It became even better when they received an unexpected call from her dad's grandparents, who heard of their current condition and offered to help them out by letting them stay at their house.
The only thing is that they didn't live as near as they thought. They live quite far from her grandparents and since the area where the two lived was the area of Y/N's school, and since they were moving she'll mostly likely have to transfer to another one. The family duo took what they could from their evicted home and set off to her grandparent's home.
Once at their residence her grandparents seemed to already have her schedule for her new school prepared, seems like they prepared themselves before they called. As to how they knew her name, that's a literal mystery.
Realizing she couldn't hear him he then walked by the curtain and opened them. The sight of the light caused her to groan. She took one of her earbuds off and tried blocking it with the hand she was using to sketch. Though unfortunately it still managed to shine through her slightly gapped fingers.
"Rise and shine sweetie, it's time for school!"
"Ugh Dad, I don't want to go to school. Can't I just be home-schooled?" She groaned as she flattened her hand on her head lightly.
"Y'know I can't do that. C'mon, your grandparents did this so you can get an education." He stated as he then made his way beside her. "It would also be nice if you had some friends. You didn't have many friends back at your old school so I'm sure you can make some at this one. You also rarely spend time outside, so maybe having friends can be a good experience."
The room was silent, she knew he was right but didn't say anything.
She stayed still on her bed until he mentioned, "If your mom was here... I'm sure she would want the same for you. I know it can be difficult since..." He paused, trying to find the right words, "That incident...but, I want you to know that there are so many things that can benefit you to get you to be more open. So please..." He pleaded, hoping she would take his advice.
She slowly got up from her position and faced her dad, her eyes softening a little. "Fine..." A mumble was heard as she got up from the bed and headed to the shower.
A smile formed on his face, "Alright, breakfast will be ready in a few minutes." He then walked back downstairs while the H/C girl got ready for school.
Y/N loves her dad and cares very deeply for him. He was always a kind-hearted man, willing to do anything for his family, which warms her heart. Though she rarely expresses it.
Some time passed and she's now dressed, having her hair done in a basic hairstyle. Once she looked at herself one last time in the mirror she then grabbed her small medium bag that contained her phone and sketchbook—which she always carries, and walked downstairs.
As she made it downstair she could smell a very pleasing smell. Once down she was indeed greeted with a delicious sight. Different types of breakfast meals were placed on the table, (and may I remind you that the table is big) with her grandparents already sitting peacefully on the table talking with another.
Y/N didn't need to guess who was in the kitchen making this. Her dad has always been at the top of the class with culinary. He very much had the skill and the talent to be working as a chef. She made it to the table, taking a seat as she waited for her dad to reach the table.
It all looked so delicious, but she didn't think her stomach could take that much so she took the amount she would eat. While waiting for the arrival of her dad she talked to her grandparents. A few minutes later, her dad came, bringing more plates of elegant-looking dishes to the table. By the time he returned, he had already filled the table with breakfast.
He soon sat at the table and engaged in small talk with the family. For the time being Y/N decided to stay out of the conversation to eat her. And as she took one bite of her meal, she was in heaven.
'So good...' The pleased look was written on her face.
Her dad noticing this smiled, "Glad you like it." He took a bit of his and soon started to speak, " I have some news to share with you all."
Unexpectedly, her dad brought up the topic of getting a new job. This was amazing news for the family, especially for Y/N. She was happy things were slowly getting through while continuing to eat her breakfast. There wasn't much on her plate, just some things she knew she'd eat.
Once done she waved goodbye before heading outside to catch the bus while her dad quickly rushed behind, wanting to wave her a farewell.
"Have a good day at school." He waved.
A small smile crept onto Y/N's face because of this as she left to catch the bus.
