Up ahead the bus could be seen approaching. This made Y/N slow her pace seeing as the bus doors were opening. She got on, but once inside a nightmare came to greet her.

'Ugh... it's so loud.' Regardless of that, she needed to find a seat, which was another problem. 'Where am I even supposed to sit when I don't see any?'

Scanning the bus, she couldn't find an empty seat anywhere. It seemed like all the seats were taken. Just when she thought she was out of luck, she noticed something. A girl with ginger hair was sitting by the window with a bag next to her, and luckily, there was only one seat taken.

'A seat! Finally...' Taking a deep breath Y/N walked over. "Excuse me." This caught the redhead by her attention. "Um, mind if I sit there?"

The pretty redhead girl looked at Y/N with a curious expression, lost in thought. Eventually, she moved her bag. Y/N felt relieved and sat in silence as the bus began to move. Despite the noise around her, she felt a sense of peace. Suddenly, a voice from behind the two girls broke the silence.

"Hey there!"

Y/N suddenly jumped up in fear, gasping in surprise. She turned around to see a boy with blonde hair smiling at her, which shocked her even more.

"Hi! I'm Aiden." He smiled, displaying his friendly demeanor.

'Are you kidding me? It didn't take long before things started going wrong.' Y/N had a rough start, dealing with noise and an annoying boy she didn't know.

She didn't want to join the conversation, so she turned around and ignored him completely. She didn't have a second to herself before she was interrupted while trying to grab her sketchbook. The blonde had different intentions.

"What's your name?" He kept invading her personal space, and Y/N was becoming exhausted by his persistent actions.

'Doesn't he know when to pick up on hints? I haven't said anything to him this entire conversation.' Y/N sighed, glancing back to see the blonde boy staring at her, waiting for a reply. "How does he not get it?" She sighed once more, feeling irritated and frustrated by the boy's persistence.

"Huh?"

"Y/N..."

"Hm?" Aiden tilts his head in confusion.

"Y/N is my name."

"Oh, well that's a pretty cool name."

"Thanks?"

Y/N felt relieved when it suddenly became quiet, thinking that the person bothering her had finally left her alone.

"Well, as I said before, this is my cousin Ben."he said, pointing to his right.

Y/N murmured, "Um, okay," while looking at the two people sitting behind her with a neutral expression.

"Oh right, have you met my new friend?" He points to the girl that you met earlier. The girl flinches at the sound of his voice.

'What's with the jolt? Does she know him, or she is like me?' She recalls how many times Aiden has tried to befriend her. Suddenly, she notices a subtle change in the girl's behavior as Aiden continues to talk. 'Now that I think about it, that might be the reason...'

"We also just moved here a few weeks ago from Virginia." Aiden kept talking about being new in town and discussing things that Y/N had no interest in.

At this moment, Y/N was feeling annoyed. The conversation had been dragging on for too long, and all she wanted was some peace. She didn't bother hiding her disinterest, but he seemed oblivious to her lack of engagement. It was obvious she had no desire to talk to him, but he didn't seem to notice. Despite her efforts to avoid him, he was sitting right behind her, talking about things she didn't care about. She wished she had brought headphones.

Trying to ignore the noise on the bus, she looked around and tried to distract herself. As Y/N stared out the window, Ashlyn suddenly felt someone's eyes on her. When she turned around, she was surprised to see Y/N looking out the window. However, her gaze then unconsciously drifted to the girl's eyes.

The girl's eyes were a mesmerizing shade of color, sparkling with an intensity that seemed to pierce right through the redhead's soul. They held a depth and mystery that drew her in, making her feel as though she could get lost in them forever. It was as if they were windows to another world, one filled with secrets and untold stories waiting to be discovered.

The redhead couldn't tear her gaze away, captivated by the silent communication that seemed to pass between them. Y/N could sense the girl's eyes on her, but she remained silent, hoping the girl would look away. As the girl continued to stare, Y/N started to feel nervous, wondering if something was wrong. She wondered why the redhead was staring so intensely at her - was there something on her face?

Y/N even began to touch her face to see if there was a reason for the stare. The redhead eventually snapped out of her trance, apologized, and went back to looking out the window. Y/N was left wondering what had just happened, but her thoughts didn't last long.

"You know, interestingly enough, we all live so close. Mine is just two blocks from yours." Aiden spoke to Y/N, and suddenly an idea popped into their mind. "Hey, since we all live so close, we should hang out often."

'Oh god, this is getting out of hand! I have to dismiss this before things get worse.'

With her peace now gone having an annoying blonde-haired boy on her tail she can't stand him being around her all the time as he mostly is. And since they're all going to school she doesn't want to have any unfortunate encounters out of school than she already has. Even so, she needs a plan to avoid this. She thought of ways to prevent this, and then suddenly an idea came.

"Um... I don't mean to be rude, but I prefer to be alone right now. I'm not really feeling up to hanging out with anyone, sorry." Y/N felt a sense of hope and peace after expressing her feelings. It wasn't a lie, but just as she was about to go back to her sketchbook, he interrupted her again.

"I get, you're shy! Just like her." He pointed to Ashlyn with a smug look on his face, causing the redhead to turn her head and make a scrunched-up face with an almost offended expression.

'MY GOSH-' This guy is really starting to annoy her. 'Okay, take deep breaths. It's best to just ignore him, something I should have done from the start. We should be arriving at school soon anyway, and hopefully he will stop talking eventually. Right?'

Little did she know that he would be so relentless. He continued to talk nonstop about anything and everything during the entire bus ride. This boy seemed determined to push Y/N to her breaking point, but she struggled to keep her composure. She didn't want to end up in an anger management class. She really wished she could just walk to school, but since she didn't know the way and there were no other seats available, she had to endure the ride.

When they finally reached the school, Y/N wasted no time in getting off the bus. Despite her efforts to avoid him, he still managed to track her down. Even after they were off the bus, he continued to chatter incessantly.

'One day, one day here, and I already hate this place.' She sighs, feeling like her life is doomed. Suddenly, she sees Ashlyn standing next to her, with Aiden and Ben right behind them.

However, Y/N didn't pay much attention to the situation at first because they were all heading in the same direction. But as they walked deeper into the school, Y/N noticed that they were still following her. Just as she was about to address the situation, Ben grabbed Aiden by the collar and stopped him suddenly. Y/N turned around and saw that Ben was pointing to the principal's office, which was exactly where she needed to go.

'You've got to be kidding me.' She hoped they weren't here for the same reason as her. But it seemed like the devil himself had heard her thoughts.

"We gotta pick our schedule--" He was about to finish his sentence when Ashlyn suddenly disappeared without saying a word. "-Up."

'Please don't leave me with this weirdo.' Y/N felt like this could be the end for her. She wondered if it was too late to escape. Suddenly, she heard a laugh from the blonde person, which made her feel uneasy.

"She's fast!" He laughed, and before Y/N could even react, he suddenly turned towards her at full speed, causing her to flinch at his stare. "Oh Y/N, you're still here," he said with a slightly tilted smile.

'Creepy...' She felt like she should just walk away. "Um... yeah, I'm a transfer student."

"No way, us too! Wow, it's like we're destined to hang out," he said. The strange feeling Y/N was getting from him made her feel like she was about to uncover a whole new world, mostly hell itself. "Let's compare schedules. Maybe we could even have the same ones."

'Hopefully we won't,' Y/N thought to herself, feeling a slight sweat forming on her face. And with that, they all entered the office.
