(Sophie POV)
I crashed through the ceiling, landing in the middle of the room. I was supposed to wait for Master to call me, but with sounds of fighting I had to act.
I quickly scanned the room, finding Master.
...and someone else.
Why is there a woman on top of you Master? Is this the one you were flirting with? First I must continuously listen to it, and now I must witness it?
You don't need her Master.
You only need me.
"Master-" I started to speak, only to get cut off by a sudden screech.
"You?!" I turned towards the loud scream, seeing some sort of mix between a human and ant upon me. He grabbed my arm and before I knew it was thrown through a wall. I crashed into a hallway, standing back up as the ant man ran towards me.
I dodged the ant man's swing, sending an uppercut into his stomach. I then grabbed him by the antennas and chucked him down the hallway. He quickly grasped at the ground, his nails digging into the floor as he slowed himself down.
Be righted himself back up, leaning in a hunched and uneven state. His mandibles clicked as he stumbled forwards.
"You..?! You?!" Gargled screams came from somewhere on the creature.
Scanning...
Scanning...
Match found.
I paused at the findings. Match found?
Comparing results...
This man's DNA was, unsurprisingly, mixed with ant DNA. But the human portion of this DNA is already in my databanks...
It's the one who created me.
My former Master.
"Dr. Willard." I greeted.
"Use...less?!" Dr. Willard inhumanly roared, rushing towards in a quick sprint.
I dodged him once more, only for him to bring his foot up and kick me in the side. I was slammed into the wall, where he then attempted to take my head off with his mandibles. I held them back, before twisting my body and slamming his head into the wall.
He growled, throwing me off with another screech. I stayed on my feet, noticing that he was super-humanly strong and durable. He was able to kick my metal body without issue.
"Kill! Kill! Kill!" He roared, rushing at me once more. I caught his fist, grabbing his arm and snapping it in half. He screamed in pain, stumbling backwards with an inhuman roar.
I do not have the time for this. I must make sure Master is alright.
I turned to leave, only for a grip to wrap around my leg. I looked down, seeing Dr. Willard and his ant head glaring at me angrily.
"Ruined! Every-every-everything!" His mandibles clicked.
With an unbelievable amount of strength from the position he was he yanked me off of my feet. In an instant he stood up, grabbed my uneven body and threw me through the wall once again.
I crashed outside, rolling to my feet. We were at the side of the building. A little over in the front is where a few of the people still remained while waiting for the authorities.
Dr. Willlard screeched and ran towards me with immense speed. He attacked with his mandibles, trying to bite off my arm only for it to be an useless endeavor.
"Quiet." I ordered, grabbing his head with a tight hold. He struggled in my grip, clicking his mandibles angrily. "I must go help Master."
"Master?! Masteeeer?!" It screamed in my grip. "I am! I am! Master! Is! Me!"
I tightened my grip at his words, an even louder scream coming from his ant head.
"You are not my Master." I stated. "You are nothing to me. Master treats me nice. Master cares for me. Master..."
I felt the edges of my mouth slightly raise.
"...Master gave me emotions. Something you could not do." I smiled.
And then I put all my strength into my tightening my hand. His head exploded, blood splattering all over my face and clothes as his lifeless, and headless, body dropped to the ground.
I looked down at my outfit, seeing that there were multiple spatters of red on it now. I will need to clean my uniform again. I cannot be serving Master with an improper look.
"Good show!" I heard someone clap from behind me.
I turned around, seeing that same girl which was on top of Master. My Master. Who does she think she is, trying to steal what is mine?
And why did I not notice her presence sooner?
I took a step towards her. She simply grinned at me, unbothered. "What do you want with Master?" I asked.
"I wonder..." She tapped her chin, looking back at the building Master was currently in. "...An equal."
She turned back to me with a smirk. "You'll be seeing more of me soon, little servant~"
I took another step forwards. Something about this woman made me want to tear her head from her body.
"Oh, and watch out." She pointed behind me with a wink.
I will not fall for-
My arm was suddenly grabbed from behind. I turned around, seeing the decapitated body that should've been laying on the ground now yanking at my arm with it's unbroken one.
I grabbed and snapped his other arm, leaving both of his arms swinging idly as he still attempted to attack me. Low rumbling sounds came from his moving corpse.
I looked back, only to see the girl was gone. I turned back to the shuffling body of my creator, throwing a punch that went straight through the body and his heart.
His body went limp once more, leaning against me. I dropped his body to the ground, watching as the pool of blood beneath it grew even more. Now my uniform needs even more cleaning.
Master, I did good.
Will you praise me?
I slammed my foot onto the body, continuing to break the corpse. I continued to slam my foot down, caving in the chest and breaking the legs until it could barely be recognized as the person who created me.
It does not matter if I am an empty bucket of bolts. It does not matter if I am an emotionless machine. None of that matters anymore.
All that matters is the one who made me feel.
All that matters is my love.
My Master~.
I am no longer AW-VSD III.
"I am Sophie." I said, looking at his mangled remains. "That is my name."
Suddenly something slammed into the ground nearby. An all familiar face I had become acquainted with. Two times have we fought each other, still without a clear winner.
Stellar stood there, staring me down.
I will take care of this threat to Master quickly.
Stellar looked at me, then glanced down to the body at my feet. She frowned, a glare in her eyes as she stared back up at me.
In a burst of speed quicker than last time she slammed into me, sending a powerful punch to my stomach. As I took the punch I slammed my fist across her face. Small shockwaves came from each of our hits as we proceeded to exchange blows.
We both backed up, seemingly equally matched once again as we had a staredown. Stellar tensed her muscles, ready to move only for the the loud sound of something breaking followed by extreme buzzing to be heard to our side.
We looked over to the building of the masquerade party, where through the roof burst a humongous swarm of bees and wasps. They clustered together, forming the shape of a giant human.
And erratically flying around them was a man with dragonfly wings as someone else held onto them. They continued to move in a jagged, sharp path only to be unable to throw the person off.
Zooming...
That's...Master?
"Of course..." Stellar muttered. "...he's here too."
