"Are you...flirting with her?" Mother Wasp hissed at me with a dangerous aura.
"Now is not the time!" I replied. "Anyways-!"
I quickly pulled out one of my pistols, pulling the trigger as I pointed the barrel towards Stellar's head. The bullet sped towards her face, only for her to catch it inbetween her fingers before it could hit.
And then she crushed it.
"You...might wanna run." I glanced towards Mother Wasp.
Stellar's feet lifted from the floor as she started to float, and in a second she appeared in front of me. She grabbed me by the hem of the shirt, holding me up.
Mother Wasp threw a punch, only for it to get caught by Stellar's other hand. She whistled, and in the distance a low buzzing could be heard.
I flicked my wrist, bringing out one of my hidden wrist blades and stabbing it towards her head. She moved it to the side, dodging the blade and giving me a look.
"Forget something?" I grinned.
I brought the gun back up, pointing it at her head. Before I could pull the trigger she threw me to the side. I crashed through a table, rolling back onto my feet with a wince.
Mother Wasp was let go as the wasp and bees finally started to appear. Stellar avoided them, flying straight towards me. I grabbed a half of the broken table, and with a grunt threw it at her.
She slammed straight through it, unflinching.
Shit.
She rammed into me, dragging me against the floor until we slowed down to a stop. She was now straddled upon me, fist raised for a punch.
"Don't you think you're skipping a few steps?" I grinned.
"What-" She started as I quickly brought my pistol back up to shoot. She grabbed the end of the barrel as I pulled the trigger, the bullet still stopping at her armor despite how point blank it was.
"Surprise?" I nervously chuckled.
Stellar raised her other hand, balling it in a fist to give me a swift and quick strike to knock me out. Unfortunately for her my reliable partner in crime arrived.
Stellar was kicked to the side as Sophie appeared. She was no longer wearing the clothes she had hiding the maid outfit, and her face was now covered with a ski mask.
"Thanks for the assist." I grinned.
"Are you okay, Master?" Sophie asked.
"I am-" I was cut off as Stellar flew past, slamming into Sophie and sending the two of them tumbling past.
"And that is my cue to leave!" I got back onto my feet, quickly running back to where Mother Wasp was.
In the distance the sounds of fighting could be heard. I glanced over, seeing Foxfire and Fortify going against some of the other villains like Shadow Raven and The Plague.
And then suddenly a frozen trail spread past my feet from behind, forming a frozen wall in front of me. I slowly turned around, seeing Frostbolt crouched with his hand to the ground. He stood back up, looking at me.
"Are you this 'Ski Mask' I've been hearing about?" He asked.
"Okay, why am I being called Ski Mask and why have you been hearing about me?" I countered.
He simply shrugged in response. I rolled to the side as he shot a blast of ice at me, before he then slammed his hand against the ground and froze the floor under me. He shot another blast of ice at me, only for me to slip onto my butt and have it fly over me.
I spun around on the ice, trying to get back to my feet as he shot another blast of ice. I somehow rolled out of the way. He brought his feet up, ice skates forming under his shoes as he stepped onto the frozen floor and started to skate towards me.
I scrambled to get into my feet, slipping all over the ice as I barely held myself upright. A frozen coating started to cover his fist, creating an ice gauntlet.
He slammed the fist at me, only for me to barely dodge it as I tried to grapple him to not fall. I gripped onto his neck, slipped, flung myself under his arm and then on top of him. We both came crashing to the ground as I somehow ended up slamming his head onto the ice.
He quickly recovered, grabbing at my foot as I tried to slide-crawl away. My shoe started to freeze as my foot slipped out and I slides forwards on the ice.
"Hey, you aren't supposed to steal!" I yelled at him.
He chucked the frozen shoe at me. I ducked as it soared over my head and shattered against the ground.
"Not cool!" I replied, finally getting a footing as I got off of the ice and started sprinting away. I hurdled over debris as Frostbolt recovered, now sliding his way towards me as he formed an ice path before him.
I made a sharp turn into one of the illegal weapon seller set up's, looking for something that I could use. I quickly grabbed a spear, continuing to run as I held it.
Hopefully the old muscle memory can come into play right about now!
I dodged as another ray of ice was shot at me. I turned towards Frostbolt, twirling the staff in my hands as he quickly approached. He jumped off of his ice path, forming two short icy batons in his hands.
He swung them at me as I used the spear to block, before spinning it and almost catching him in the head. He swung a baton towards my head, only for me to block once more. I kicked the bottom of the spear as I held the top, sending the lower half flying upwards. He dodged to the side, avoiding the spear and taking the opportunity to get close.
With my now free hand I quickly pulled out a pistol, shooting a bullet straight at him. In an instant he brought his arms together and formed an ice shield, blocking the bullet but allowing me to kick him backwards and make some space.
I quickly looked around, grinning to myself as I thought of a plan. I dashed towards the piranha pool, glancing back to make sure that Frostbolt was following me once more.
He sped after me, quickly gaining with the formation of the ice path beneath his feet. I stabbed the spear into the ground, using it to fling myself into the air above the pool.
"Come and catch me!" I smirked, pulling my eyelid down as I stuck my tongue out at him.
He jumped forwards, catching me midair. My clothes started to freeze as he tried to subdue me before we fell. And then I proceeded to grin in his face.
He looked at me in confusion as I twisted us midair, getting a punch into the face and kicking myself off of him. I crashed to the ground outside of the pit as he sunk into the piranha-infested water.
Immediately it froze before the feisty piranhas could feed on him, but because of that act he was now frozen in the water as well.
"Damn...right..." I grinned, throwing a fist up.
I stood back onto my feet, turning back to where Mother Wasp should be. I watched as bees and wasps were flying around, increasing the difficult for Stellar as she had to protect her face from them while fighting Sophie at the same time.
And despite that it looked like Sophie was...
...losing?!
Stellar slammed Sophie into the ground. She brought her cannon up, only for Stellar to smack it to the side and send a fist into her face. Sophie kicked Stellar off of her, only for Stellar to crash back into her and send them flying into the wall of the underground room.
A few more shockwaves came from the wall, before Sophie was thrown from it, crashing into the ground as Stellar immediately followed.
Shit.
I quickly looked around for something, and that's when I noticed a freaking bicycle. As in one with pedals. And rocket boosters.
Oh yeah, let's fuck shit up.
I grabbed the spear back from the ground and hopped onto the bicycle. It was your regular old bicycle except for the rocket boosters attached to the back and the button on the handle which activated it.
"Onwards, my loyal steed!" I cackled, pedaling forwards as I held the spear like I was a knight about to joust.
I sped up, going faster and faster towards Sophie and Stellar. Sophie connected a punch to Stellar's face, only for the hero to quickly recover.
"Maid!" I screamed, pressing the button for the rocket boosters.
Sophie glanced at me, immediately understanding. She used her sonic cannon, forcing Stellar to guard. She then pointed towards me, causing Stellar to look towards me, eyes widening.
I laughed as I went faster than anyone ever should on a bicycle, the spear stabbing through Stellar's armor and under her shoulder. She slammed into the wall, pinned by the spear as she grit her teeth and tried her best not to show the pain.
I crashed into the wall, falling down as I clutched my nose. "Ohh...fuck..." I groaned, pulling myself up as I wiped away some blood.
"Toodle-loo, Stellar~!" I grinned, grabbing the bike and turning towards Sophie. "We're getting out of here!"
Mother Wasp was waiting for us at the door. She held it open as we fought our way through the remaining random grunts to get through the exit door.
"Stellar!" I heard a distorted voice yell as we exited.
The three of us ran through the hallway and up the stairs to a restaurant. Red and blue lights flooded the inside of the building as sirens screamed ourside. I glanced out the front windows, seeing multiple cop cars waiting outside.
"Good thing I brought this bike." I said, gasping for breath. I hopped onto it. "Maid, can you carry Mother Wasp?"
"Yes, Master." Sophie nodded. She activated her jets, floating in the air as she picked up Mother Wasp. "You're heavy."
"Excuse you?!" Mother Wasp screamed. "You're a fucking ton-lifting robot-!"
"Come out with your hands up!" Ordered a cop from outside.
"Here we go!" I grinned, pressing the button.
I blasted through the windows of the shop, the cops looking on in surprise as a man on a bike flew over them and hit the streets speeding.
Sophie flew overhead, carrying Mother Wasp as we made our escape. A singular cop car quickly came after me, catching up to my rocket powered bike.
I weaved past cars, praying that I wouldn't crash into one considering I don't really know how to drive!
I stared up at the green light at the intersection ahead, thankful that I wouldn't have to try and pull a crossy road.
As I flew through the intersection, I watched as a car perpendicular to me didn't slow down to stop at the red light, continuing to drive forwards at a high speed.
And that's when I barely noticed it. The driver was slumped over, and in the windshield was a playing card.
I zoomed past, the car crashing into the following police car and stopping its halt. I continued forwards as the rocket boost wore off, allowing the bike to start to slow down. I made a few turns, weaving in and out of back alleys until I found a good point to stop.
I got off the bike, taking a little break to calm down my wobbly legs as Sophie landed down next to me, holding Mother Wasp.
"How far are we?" I asked, gasping for breath.
"Not far from Kyler Street." Sophie stated. "We should be able to make it there without incident."
"Good." I sighed.
And after a few minutes of walking quiet back alleys, we returned back to our current place of residence. As soon as we entered I laid the bike against the wall and then flopped onto the couch, completely beat.
Mother Wasp lifted up my head, sitting down and then setting my head back on her lap. She lightly ran her fingers through my hair, a smile on her face as she looked down at me.
"You did good, my partner." She stated. "Other than allowing yourself to be marked by whoever that skank was. You will be answering my questions later."
"But for now..." She licked her lips. "...I need to overwrite it."
And before Sophie could stop her she brought her lips down and onto my neck. I was too tired, simply allowing her to suck on my neck and leave a hickey behind.
Which was on the other side of my neck so it wasn't even a freaking overwrite.
"Get off of Master." Sophie demanded, pulling her head away from me.
"You're just a jealous rust bucket." Mother Wasp grinned.
The two glared at each other, sparks flying through the air as my vision started to waver. I sighed, falling asleep after the events of the day.
And this time, no nightmare. Simply a memory. A memory of the job that went wrong. The Cromwell Mafia Family job.
And her face.
