(Sophie POV)

It has been two weeks since the events during the Champion Underground Convention, and in that time we have been laying low at our current base, Mother Wasp's home.

Master was shocked when he watched Super Live and realized that someone had leaked footage of his impressiveness. Even more so when Stellar released the public statement that he was a dangerous foe that evaded her multiple times and should be watched out for.

Since then he has seemed more stressed. It reminded me of after the Masquerade Ball, except it has continued. He is good at hiding it, but I pay more attention to Master than anyone else. Of course I notice, it is only proper of a good servant.

Whether it is because of Stellar, his brother, the leaked footage, or the increasing incidents of crimes done in ski masks, I was not sure of. He has not stated.

I did not know what haunted my Master, nor what has made him more stressed these past two weeks, but I will be there whenever he needs anything.

I have been keeping an eye out on the term 'Ski Mask' for Master because of his newly known public presence and stress. As for the changing results of 'Ski Mask' upon the internet, I have kept my findings to myself in order to not stress out my Master any more.

That is to say that the results are unsatisfactory. There has been a few pieces of art and fanfictions of the concept of Ski Mask x Stellar popping up for some odd reason. I do not understand what these people are thinking.

Would it not be more natural for Ski Mask x The Maid? Do they not see how this is a better pairing? The other one is simply absurd. I have tried advocating for the obvious better pairing, but no one seems to agree with my views.

However, fortunately I haven't seen any Ski Mask x Mother Wasp. That woman causes some sort of unsettling and uncomfortableness within me that I am not sure how to describe. Emotions are difficult.

All I know is that I refuse to hand her over to Master. Just because she is his boss doesn't give her the right to be constantly hanging off of him. Not to mention the multiple times she has attempted to lure him into her bedroom. I shall not allow her to infect Master with her depravity.

It is unacceptable. If our lodging was not free I would have destroyed this place long ago with Mother Wasp inside.

But it is important we spare the expenses we can. It makes it easier on Master and his goal of keeping his younger brother alive. Whatever Master's goal is becomes my goal as well. Especially if it helps him with becoming less stressed.

Master has already retired for the night, sleeping peacefully in his bed. I stared at him as he slept, replaying a variety of his voice clips within my head.

The nine Master audio clips had grown into forty-three audio clips that I constantly cycled through when I observed Master. And with the outlet close enough to the bed, I have been able to both charge and observe Master at once.

The charging is not as sufficient as I am still mostly powered on instead of being in sleeping mode. However, it is worth it in order to spend this time every night.

However, I can't help but feel like something is wrong. I looked around and didn't notice anything. And then something was lightly kicked on the floor.

I quickly turned and unplugged myself, seeing that girl that had 'marked' Master two weeks ago. She was standing in the room, staring at me with a grin. Somehow I had not noticed her beforehand, unless she had just appeared.

Mother Wasp and I questioned Master as to her identity, where we learned it is the assassin and hitman known as Bloodwraith.

I quickly morphed my arm into its laser mode, pointing it straight at Bloodwraith. She smirked at me, as if trying to call a bluff. I am not bluffing. I will not hesitate to melt her head. It will teach her a lesson of not letting her lips wander to things that are not hers.

She brought her finger to her lips, jerking her head in the direction of Master. It seems she is warning me that I will wake him up if commit. She is certainly not wrong.

However, Master is indeed a deep sleeper. I can take care of her silently enough to keep him in his important sleep.

My arm morphed back to normal as the metal rearranged, before I then swung at her with my fist. She dodged, sticking her tongue out at me as she silently dodged.

I quickly followed her, moving slow and silently as I made sure not to create the sound of heavy footsteps. With my slowed down speed she easily avoided all of my blows, jumping onto my back and bringing her umbrella out of somewhere.

She tried to stab one of my visual receptors, only for me to stop her weapon. I overpowered her, tearing the weapon from her grip and stabbing it upwards to get her off of me.

She gracefully jumped away, flipping through the air and landing silently on her feet. She grinned wickedly as she dodged another one of my strikes, weaving all around me with a smug expression.

"What's wrong~?" She whispered as she passed by. "Oh, my bad. I'd be pretty upset too if I was as slow as you."

"Quiet." I softly replied. "Master is asleep."

"It'd be a terrible shame if you woke him up." She smirked.

"Silence." I ordered. "You will leave and never return. Master does not need you."

"No, but I need him." She giggled. "Oh, you wouldn't understand."

I felt a frown etch itself onto my face. This woman was irritating enough to make me show negative emotion, and yet I felt I understood. Emotions are difficult.

Jason shifted in bed. We froze, turning towards him as he yawned. He turned over, going silent once again as he was still asleep.

Bloodwraith took the opportunity while I was distracted to jump onto my back, covering my eyes with one arm as she smacked my head with the other. How she was not injuring herself from the metal beneath my fabricated skin I did not understand.

I struggled, trying to tear her off without making a sound. We grabbed at each other for a little longer, collapsing to the floor where we started to wrestle for control. We only stopped as Jason started to sit upwards.

We both quickly had the same idea, jumping into the closet and closing the doors. We poked and prodded at each other as we waited for Jason to go back to sleep.

Only for him to not. We fought for the right to peek through the small gap inbetween the closet doors, before ultimately settling for her looking from above while I peered through bellow.

We watched as Jason stood up, mumbling to himself about something. He stretched, before looking around and noticing that I was not in my usual position. He stared at it for a moment, before shrugging. He knows that if I was in real danger, I would alert him.

This appearance of Bloodwraith is nothing but a nuisance and a security breach to address once Master has had his proper rest. I wish not to bother his sleep with his recent stressed state.

He creaked open the door, peering down the hallway, before silently closing it. He threw on a jacket over his pajamas, and contrary to what I expected, opened up the window and climbed out.

Bloodwraith and I glanced at each other. As much as I wish not to admit it, she for, whatever reason, also knew that this was strange.

Master did not sneak out at night. I would've known, for I watch over him every night. I thought I had been discreet, but had he known? Is that why he chose today of all times?

With the single connection of our eyes Bloodwraith and I settled on a temporary truce. We silently crept out of the closet and made our way out of the window as well. I dropped down without a problem, as I was immune to the phenomenon known as 'fall damage'.

Bloodwraith gracefully leaped down, hitting the ground and rolling to her feet. We started to trail Jason from a distance, keeping an eye out for anyone who might decide to commit a crime against him at this time of night.

Where was he going, as the night was pitch black and the evening long past? We continued to follow him before he entered the park. Bloodwraith continued forwards without care, but I knew it would be more difficult for me. I followed, however at a more cautious pace.

Eventually we watched as Jason approached the newly finished Miracle statue in the middle of the park. It had just finished construction two days ago, revealing a young man in his twenties holding a flag which's pole reached to his feet, all made of stone.

Jason walked up to the statue, staring up at it as he pressed his hand against the cool stone. He continued to stare up at it, muttering something to himself. He then sat at its base, staring up at the sky.

We moved around, getting a little closer in order to hear him while still staying away from where he would see. He was silent for a while, until he finally spoke four words.

"I miss you, man." He sighed.

He looked down at the ground, before slowly standing up. He stretched once more, stared back at the statue one final time, and then started to head back to our current place of residence.

"Do you know anything about that?" Bloodwraith questioned once he was far enough away.

"No. I do not." I simply replied.

We stared at each other for a moment, before going our separate ways. I still did not like her presence around Master, nor her attempt to 'claim' him, however...

...I did understand her and her feelings towards Master. However, I will not give him up.

I will be the greatest servant he could ever ask for. And maybe, one day, he can finally share with me the demons that plagued his mind.

Until then, I shall continue to keep watch over my beloved master.

The one I have learned to love.
