(??? POV)

I took a long sip of my coffee, analyzing the footage of Stellar. I slowed it down, seeing as the blurred past the camera at extreme speeds. No, she had definitely become quicker. She wasn't this strong when she first debuted, that's for sure.

Would've been so much easier back then, but it wouldn't be as valuable then either, wouldn't it?

I chuckled to myself, twirling around in my chair as I continued to drink my coffee. If what I'm thinking is correct, then this could be so very interesting.

"Flight and super strength is indeed a dangerous combo." I muttered to myself. "But with two powers they should be weaker. However both of hers are as powerful as someone with one S-Genome."

Shes been active for five years. No one thought much of her first until she started to kick serious ass. Now she's one of the most known, loved, and powerful heroes in Champion City. All while being quite young, somewhere in her young twenties.

Is this kind of growth natural to double-powered S-Genomes? Or is this exclusive to Stellar herself? It would be so damn easier to know if there were more double-powered. Unfortunately, only three known ones exist.

Stellar, Miracle, and Justice Man.

One is active, strong, and protected by the Administration.

One is done.

And the final is retired, unknown, and also protected by the Administration.

It's not easy to get the blood of a double-powered. But if I could, then it could be so damn valuable!

And then there's always him, who should hopefully be returning soon. But I'm still not quite sure if he counts or not. I need to run more tests whenever Killian is able to get him to me.

A knock rang on the door to my office.

"Dr. Vandercourt?" A voice asked from outside the door.

I sighed to myself. "Yes?"

"The combat tests were a success." The voice stated.

"As I knew they would be." I stood up, kicking my chair to the side. My lab coat drifted behind me as I strolled over to the door and opened it.

I exited my dark room, my subordinate backing up. I combed a hand through my messy and unkempt brown hair with a grin.

"Perfect." I chuckled. "With this, capturing him should be easier. And Killian will be happy, I suppose. Lead the way, my servant!"

The subordinate simply sighed and walked away as I followed him. Various different thoughts and plans ran through my head as we walked through the lab before we reached the room.

He opened the door, revealing a room with a bunch of various tech and two tables. Sitting upon the two tables were two different people, perfectly human in looks despite their robotic constitutions. Various cords were plugged into them, and two other subordinates each held a tablet as they analyzed data for each one.

"Perfect, perfect!" I clapped my hands together. "There were no issues, then?"

"None." The first subordinate answered. "They both successfully subdued all prisoners in an appropriate manner."

"Good, good. Diagnostics?" I questioned.

"All good here." One of the subordinates with a tablet stated.

"No issues." The second one followed up with.

"Heh, I knew it could be done." I chuckled. "That stupid, stupid Dr. Willard couldn't figure it out. Killian was right to entrust this abandoned project to me."

They were left in storage on the eventual path to be scrapped until "The Maid" appeared. Of course it was obvious to anyone who knew about the AW-VSD project that the new villain was Model III.

I had heard that the project was a failure, and yet somehow Model III escaped and was working. Considering who she calls her "master", it's obvious who did it.

But how? The last I remembered, he shouldn't have any knowledge even close enough to fix a malfunctioning robot.

Heh. How interesting.

"So..." I looked towards the two robots. "...time for one final test." I walked to the first one, her eyes turning to look at me. "What is your name?" I asked.

She beamed at me with her sparkling green eyes. She had blonde, golden hair that was styled in a side ponytail. For some reason there was a little green sticker of a star under her eye. I wonder if she placed it there herself.

"I am Model I of the AW-VSD series!" She happily responded. "Nicknamed Myla!"

"And the first one has passed the personality test." I leaned back, noting to myself. "Which means since the combat test went well, she's ready."

I walked over to the second one. She had long, black hair which reached her middle back. Her stern purple eyes looked over at me as she held a frown on her face.

"What is your name?" I asked.

"I am Model AW-VSD II." She stated, crossing my her arms. "And I go by Ione now."

"Huh, interesting personality..." I muttered to myself as I tried to poke her face. She lightly smacked my hand away, looking at me with a deepens frown.

"Don't touch me." She ordered.

"Eh, good enough." I shrugged. "She has a personality, good enough. Prepare these two for transfer and alert me of anything. Time for me to make a call."

I stepped out of the room, finding Killian's contact. I waited as the phone rung before he shortly picked up.

"Vincent?" He questioned. "I hope I'll be hearing good news."

"Since when do I ever not give you good news?" I smirked. "I'm the smartest scientist you have ever met in your life, Killian."

"Yes, I know." Killian sighed. "Just tell me what it is?"

"After applying my expertise to the AW-VSD project, Models I and II have successfully passed both personality and combat tests. And I even evaluated their personalities myself." I grinned.

"Perfect." Killian stated. "Send them back into the city. Soon Champion City will be having two brand new heroes. I'll be going to prepare that now."

"Before you hang up on me, I have a request." I replied.

"I already know you want those two to be used to capture him." Killian stated. "And I already agreed with you."

"Well yes but not that, new request." I replied. "I would like to request the blood of as many people with an S-Genome as possible. Specifically Stellar has the highest importance."

"You do realize how difficult that will be?" Killian sighed.

"Yes, I do." I grinned. "But I wouldn't be asking if I couldn't do something with it, now could I?"

"What are you up to now?" Killian questioned.

"Just planning." I smirked. "There are a few different experiments I plan to perform once you get me everything I need. And they'll be even better than the I-Genome project or even the improved AW-VSD Models."

"I have no doubt in your ability, Vincent." Killian replied.

"No no no, you don't get it Killian." I laughed. "This will be the biggest breakthrough you've ever had."

"I do hope so." Killian replied. "And with those two, I believe we'll be capturing him soon enough for you."

"Oh, we will be." I chuckled. "Adios, Killian~! I have more research to do!"

Killian sighed as he hung up. I hummed to myself, pocketing my phone and heading back to my lab.

I shut the door behind me, locking it as I was in the darkness once again. I reawakened my computer, moving around files before getting to the one I studied so frequently.

Miracle's.

"Two powers." I muttered to myself. "Luck and Boost. His blood provides a temporary boost to superpowered abilities, and his luck is so incredible that it was named a superpower."

"I'd call it ridiculous if his DNA wasn't different than single-powered S-Genome DNA!" I laughed to myself. "I still can't figure out how that works, no matter what I do."

I leaned back in my chair, chuckling to myself as I intertwined my fingers. How very excited I am for the future discoveries I'll be able to make. And all I need is one thing!

His return.
