(Sophie POV)

I do not quite understand.

While I never met the first and second model, I had assumed they were failures as well from everything that I had witnessed. Were these models made after me? Had the program been restarted?

I am not quite sure. Whatever the answer is, it does not matter. Current priority is getting Master out of here, which will prove a difficult task.

Stellar is unconscious thanks to the poison on the bee's stinger. That should last long enough to allow me to escape from here.

I do not detect Bloodwraith. She is either unconscious or is lying in wait. Phantom is still going against Foxfire, putting up a strong and equal fight.

Prototype is in front of me and Isolation is behind me. Prototype has large, metal claws for weapons while Isolation created a spear. However, I believe her abilities lie further than simply that.

"Sister." Isolation glanced past me, looking towards Prototype. "Secondary objective has been achieved."

"Perfect!" Prototype grinned. "Only one thing left to do!"

Prototype's eyes connected with mine as I suddenly felt a force strongly pushing me downwards. The pavement cracked under my feet as my processors quickly analyzed the situation.

I understand. Ferrokinesis. In simpler terms, metal manipulation. She's pulling me down into the ground with her ability to control metal. It is likely what has allowed her to create those large, metallic claws.

She rushed towards me as I stayed still, analyzing her approaching movements. Isolation rushed towards us from behind, stabbing her spear forwards only for Master to grab it and start a tug of war.

Prototype closed one of her metallic claws into a fist, slamming it down. I quickly pulled my hands up and powered through the downwards pull on my metallic frame. I caught the large fist, causing her to pause in surprise.

"You will not harm my Master." I stated, widening my feet as I swung her around and tossed her into Isolation.

Master ducked under the flying robots, now holding Isolation's spear. He grinned to himself, twirling it around with a surprising skill and grace he has exhibited once before.

"All right, now we're talking." He grinned, standing next to me as he readied the spear.

Prototype and Isolation quickly jumped back onto their feet. Prototype kept her eyes glued to me, having realized now that I could still perform well even when she was constantly pushing me into the ground with her power. Whether she realizes it or not I am slower than usual with the interference.

Isolation extended her arm out, and the spear in Master's hands evaporated into purple particles which flew towards her. They flew into her outstretched hand, turning into a purple sword this time.

"Oh come on!" Master yelled.

"She is stronger than I imagined, Sister." Prototype glanced towards Isolation, a smile still on her face. "I will hold her off. Get the main objective."

"Understood." Isolation nodded.

"Master." I whispered. "Run. Escape. I cannot protect you and deal with them both. Once I am done with Prototype I will follow you."

"Stay safe, Sophie." Master replied. He quickly darted to the side, running as Isolation quickly followed.

I must handle Prototype fast. I rushed towards her, my body more sluggish thanks to the constant and powerful pull downwards. Prototype swung both of her claws in a clapping motion. I extended my arms, catching them and throwing them to the side.

I swung my fist towards her, only for her to dodge it. My other arm morphed into the laser as I quickly shot it at her. She blocked with her large metal claws but the laser was melting through them.

I sudden tug upwards on my metal arm moved the laser into the air, allowing for Prototype to close the distance. I was smacked, sending me flying through the air and then through the wall of a building.

I crashed to the floor, morphing my other arm into a metal gauntlet as Prototype followed through the hole in the wall. She slammed her metal claw down, allowing me to step on it and send a punch towards her face. She caught it with her other metal gauntlet.

I activated my rocket boosters, flying through the ceiling and taking Prototype with me. We flew through a couple of floors, tussling in the air before I was thrown outside of the window.

I readjusted myself in the air, only to not have enough time as Prototype crashed into me and sent me flying back into the ground. My back slammed into the pavement as Prototype was now on top of me.

She slammed her metal gauntlets down as I caught them, struggling to hold them up when she was still using her metal manipulation to affect me. I brought my feet up, kicking her and sending her flying off of me.

She landed on her feet, dragging her claws against the ground as she slid to a stop. She stared at me with that same unwavering smile. I suddenly felt a pull on both of my arms, each trying to go a different direction.

She lunged once more, swiping with her metal claw. All I was able to do in time was block the attack, leaving deep scratches across my arm. I pointed the laser at her again, but she was able to dodge and move out of the way as I shot the beam towards her.

Her metal claw approached from the side, wrapping around me as she held me in her grip. She chucked me across the road, causing me to crash into a car.

I stood back up, grabbing the car and chucking it towards Prototype. She sliced it in half before it even hit the ground, before sprinting towards me at high speeds once more.

I dodged her swing, sending a devastating punch to her face. She stumbled backwards, allowing for me to get close once more and punch her again. I was starting to gain an advantage, when suddenly someone was thrown past, tumbling near my feet.

"Master?" I questioned. He groaned as he slowly stood up, clutching at his head.

And I quickly realized my second of attention on my Master was a mistake.

Warning. Critical damage.

The bright red words immediately flashed across my vision, alerting me of extreme damage. I looked down, seeing a purple spear sticking straight from my stomach.

I grabbed Isolation by the neck, taking her by surprise. The spear dissipated as a purple blade appeared on her fist. She tried to stab me, only for me to block and promptly chuck her at Prototype.

Prototype extended her metal claw, catching Isolation in the palm before slinging her back at me. She crashed into me, sending us tumbling to the ground. Purple gauntlets manifested around her fists as she sent multiple blows across my face.

Warning. Optic systems damaged.

I grabbed her gauntlets, throwing Isolation to the side. I looked back to Prototype, seeing Master stuck in her grasp. I blasted forwards towards them, only for someone to slam into the ground in front of me and stop my approach.

Stellar stood there, arms crossed as she cracked her neck. I wasn't fast enough. The poison already wore off, even quicker than expected. She glanced back at Prototype. "Take him to the authorities. I'll handle The Maid."

Prototype nodded, looking towards Isolation. "Let's go!"

"Do not get in my way." I ordered.

My eye was flicking. Cracks spread across my vision. There was a hole in my stomach, and I was rapidly losing energy. I need to get Master and go.

Purple jets materialized behind Isolation as she grabbed Prototype, lifting the two into the sky and starting to fly away with a struggling Master.

I quickly activated my jets, attempting to shoot past Stellar and fly after them. I made it past her, rapidly approaching them when suddenly something grabbed my back leg.

I glanced back, seeing Stellar holding my leg with a different look in her eyes than usual. While usually they were either heroic or fierce, they held an underlying emptiness.

"Did you think I wouldn't notice after all our fights?" She questioned. "That you're a robot?"

I overloaded the jet boosters in my feet, adding extra force and power only for it to not affect Stellar's grip at all. She held tightly onto my leg, the metal starting to bend as she stared into my eyes.

"That means I no longer have to hold back." She whispered.

With incredible strength she completely changed my course, sending me flying into the ground. I crashed into the pavement, creating a hole in the ground. It was increased in size as Stellar landed on top of me, pushing me further down.

She slammed fist after fist onto me, warning signs desperately flashing across my cracked vision. I swung a fist upwards which Stellar effortlessly caught with a cold look in her eyes.

"The first damn time they go against him and he gets caught." She angrily muttered to herself. "He's supposed to be my archnemesis."

And with one swift move, she completely ripped my arm off.

Warning. Critical Damage. Warning. Warning.

She held the sparking arm in her hand, before tossing it to the side. She gripped me by the neck, dragging me along with her as I grabbed at her arm.

I activated my boosters once again, twisting us so that I started to rapidly drag her against the ground. She punted me off of her, causing me to crash into the ground as my vision started glitching.

She walked towards me, seemingly completely unfazed and uninjured.

"I'm taking you to the authorities as well, Maid." Stellar stated. "And Foxfire will soon be subduing your new friend too."

A bee buzzed, flying straight towards Stellar. She caught it inbetween her fingers, giving it a light glare. And with a flick she sent it flying into orbit.

And then she gasped. She turned around, an umbrella stabbed through her armor and into her side. Bloodwraith sent a kick across her face, sending her stumbling back.

I slowly got up, and before she could recover I used the rest of my fighting strength for a strong enough punch to daze her temporarily.

"W-w-we need to g-g-go." I stated, my voice glitching out.

I grabbed Bloodwraith with my one hand, throwing her over my shoulder and activating my jetpack and rocket boots. I flew through the air, rapidly approaching a still fighting Phantom and Foxfire.

I slammed into Phantom, Bloodwraith grabbing her and bringing her along as I quickly and unstably flew across the city. My vision continued to glitch, but I was able to hold on enough to get us back to our current base, Mother Wasp's house.

Bloodwraith and Phantom helped me in, laying me across the couch. "Shit shit shit shit shit-" Aurelia paced back and forth.

I stared at the ceiling, something odd happening inside of me. Is this what they mean by a "pit in the stomach?" Is this how that feeling works?

"I-I-I-I have failed M-Master." I stated, my voice glitching out. "H-h-he was c-captured by t-t-the heroes."

"Then it's time for a prison break!" Bloodwraith grinned. "Sneaking in will be no problem for me."

"It's worse than that." Mother Wasp suddenly stated. "I'm following them with my bees, and they aren't taking him to the authorities or the Administration. They're leaving the city."

"What?!" Phantom exclaimed. "Why would they possibly be-?!"

"T-t-they are part of a-a Stromford e-experiment." I informed them.

"Which means they may be taking him to a Stromford facility outside of the city." Cursed Phantom.

"And that means Killian." Bloodwraith finished.

I slowly started to stand up.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing?" Phantom questioned. "Sit back down."

"I-I-I must go r-r-rescue Master." I declared.

"We will." Mother Wasp stated. "But not while you're in that state. The three of you, listen to me, now."

We all turned towards Mother Wasp.

"We all care for Jason, and we're all planning to rescue him." Mother Wasp stated. "But we can't just go and attack on our own. We need to prepare, we need a plan, and most importantly..."

She sighed. "...we need to work together."

Mother Wasp looked at the three of us, a determined look in her eyes. "You're all in?"

"Of course." Phantom replied.

"Anything for my love~!" Bloodwraith grinned.

"Y-yes." I nodded. "F-f-for Master."

Mother Wasp nodded. "Then from now on, we're a team. And for our first business..."

She turned towards me. "...let's go get you repaired. Or should I say, upgraded?"

"T-t-that sounds..." I started to speak, only for my body to go rigid.

Low Power. Depleted Battery.

My vision went dark as I crashed back onto the couch. I could only hope that Master was as okay as he could be.

Please be safe, Master. Without you, my life serves no purpose.

I will be coming for you soon.
