Her eyes, widened, stared into my own with a shockingly intense gaze. And then she spoke the one word that sealed my fate as royally fucked.

"Checkmate." She whispered, a mixture of emotions quickly passing through her face in the span of a few seconds.

Hikari and Eleanor took a protective step forwards, eyes narrowing as they stared at Sarah. Both of them knew exactly who she was, even before my stupid little slip-up.

"You knew..." A look of betrayal crossed her face as she stared into Hikari's eyes. And then, in most possibly one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen, the light behind her eyes died as her face went blank.

Oh shit. Oh fuck. Oh shit. Oh fuck.

It is time to GO! RIGHT NOW!

And just as I was about to grab the two girls and make a desperate dash for it an explosion sounded from behind us, a short distance away.

Sarah immediately stared back at me as everyone around us started to scamper away in panic. Anyone who had been paying attention to this little drama immediately fled as smoke rose into the sky.

"Okay, this time that one wasn't meeee-!" I was cut off as Sarah suddenly lunged forwards, getting inbetween Hikari and Eleanor and gripping the front of my shirt. In an instant I was suddenly staring at the sky, and then the ground, and then the sky again.

Ah. She flung me into the sky and I'm now flailing around like an idiot that's surely gonna become sick from this.

Is this what motion sickness feels like?!

I was suddenly grabbed once again, stopping my spiral upwards. Sarah stared at me, floating high in the sky while still in her civilian clothes.

"Maybe this isn't the best time for this, Stellie!" I desperately spoke with a nervous grin. "There's something going on over there and you should probably get out of those civilian clothes so your cover isn't blown!"

In one swift move she suddenly ripped her shirt off before I could even cover my eyes. Well, only to realize that she was wearing her bodysuit right under the shirt. She dropped it, allowing it to fly all the way back down to the city below us.

"We should get to know each other more before you start stripping, don't you think?" I chuckled, trying to get a response out of her.

Cause seeing her just staring at me like this, no emotions on her face, is something that I am not used to seeing from her! Her eyes look dead as she looks into mine. And frankly, it's freaking me out a little bit!

Okay, I lied. It's freaking me out A LOT!

"So that's why you wanted her." Stellar finally spoke. "You corrupted her. Or maybe you two were already working together before."

Her grip on the front of my shirt tightened.

"How long...behind my back?" She hissed.

"Behind your back?" I raised an eyebrow at her odd wording, a chill running down my spine.

Why...do you sound like a girlfriend who just caught her boyfriend cheating?

"And to think, this whole time..." She spoke with a haunting tone. "...that it was you, Jason."

"You left me." She growled. "I thought you were DEAD!"

I wasn't sure how to respond, honestly.

Was...was Miracle dating Stellar? Cause I don't remember him ever telling me that but it's certainly feeling like that's the case!

And that makes me very scared right now.

"If you gently put me down, I'll explain everything." I quickly spoke. "But I'm not the Jason you think I am."

"And yet..." She whispered. "...no matter what, I can't get you out of my head."

And then she let go of me.

OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT-

I hurtled through the air, falling back down to the rapidly approaching city. I think I'm officially going to have a fear of heights after thiiiiiiiissss!

I felt myself getting caught midair, allowing me to sigh in relief. My vision was dizzy from falling and I feel a headache coming on but I'm alive! Did she really just try and fucking murder me?!

"Thanks, Sophie." I smiled, opening my eyes and looking at my savior.

Only to freeze.

"Don't utter another woman's name in my presence again." Stellar demanded, staring at me with burning eyes as we slowly floated down onto a roof with me snugly held in her arms.

Before I could even retort I was thrown onto the roof of a tall building. I rolled across before quickly getting up to my feet and facing Stellar.

"Stellar! Come out and fight me!" A voice screamed from a short distance away. Another explosion sounded out as another cloud of smoke rose, right from where the voice was.

"You should probably go fight him!" I pointed in the direction. "Look at all that chaos he's causing!"

"It's nothing compared to you." She stated. "Do not think this gets you out of anything, Jason."

She sped walk forwards, towards me. I turned around and tried to dash off but I was too late. She quickly gripped me by the wrist, throwing me over her shoulder in one swift move and taking off into the skies again.

Before I could even start becoming traumatized we slowed down as Stellar landed in the middle of a destroyed street. Fire and destruction raged around a singular man a few feet away. He was turned away, chucking a car into the sky with incredible strength.

"If you don't get over here then I'm going to make SURE one of these crushes a family!" Cackled the man.

Stellar heaved me off of her shoulder, before throwing me to the side. I crashed into the wall, groaning as I slid down to the ground. Ow, go and break my back, why don't you?!

She sent me a glare which translated to "stay there" before taking off the rest of her civilian clothes in an instant, leaving her clad in her superhero outfit.

She chucked her glasses to her side, her cape blowing in the wind behind her as she stood there. I have no idea how she fit that thing under her clothes without it looking weird.

She cracked her knuckles. "Boulderstone."

"There you are!" The man grinned as he turned around. He wore a white tank top and black cargo pants, not much of a supervillain outfit if you'd ask me. His buff body was muscly and incredibly defined, but the strange thing was how his skin looked like hardened rock.

"It's time I finally get revenge for when you put me away two years ago!" He grinned, tearing out a huge chunk of the ground. "I'm going to make you regret it!"

He threw the chunk of ground at her. It rapidly approached, but she stared at it with an uncaring gaze. She slapped it out of the air, sending it into the side of a building with zero effort.

"...huh?" He questioned.

Stellar started to walk towards him.

"So you've gotten this much stronger." He grit his teeth. "But you're not the only one! I'll finally show you how I should be feared!"

I slowly stood up, clutching my back as I got to my feet. Fuck, how hard did she throw me into that wall? Even with regeneration I'm still so damn sore!

Anyways, I gotta get out of here before things get even worse!

Boulderstone gripped another car, chucking it at Stellar. She easily kicked it away, only for Boulderstone to throw a few more. But with his quick fire of the cars, not all were accurate.

I dove to the side as a car flew past Stellar and almost crashed into me. I picked myself back off of the ground, moving away from the car that almost crushed me.

That wouldn't have been pleasant!

Stellar looked back, seeing the broken car next to me. Her eyes seemed to darken as she realized what had almost happened.

I mean, I would've been fine! Or maybe that look is because she can tell I'm trying to escape.

Fuck.

She turned back towards Boulderstone as he threw another car. She grabbed it with one hand, easily catching it and then hurling it back at Boulderstone with twice the speed. Boulderstone dodged the car, but left himself open for Stellar to speed forwards and appear in front of him with her arm reared back.

He brought his hands up to slam down upon her, but she was quicker. In an instant her fist impacted his chest.

And then went straight through.

Boulderstone stared down in shock at the arm which went fully through his chest. Stellar pulled her arm out, her fist soaked in blood. The same crimson liquid dripped from the newly made hole in the man's chest as he slowly looked into Stellar's eyes with horror.

And then he collapsed. Stellar stared down at him, uncaringly. And then she slammed her foot onto his head, splattering it and sending blood spraying across her uniform.

Oh fuck.

She slowly turned around, looking back at me. Splatters of blood covered her outfit and dripped from her crimson-soaked hand.

"Stellar...?" I questioned warily.

"You." She spoke, a strange coldness to her voice as she stared into my eyes. Despite the murder she just committed her face showed no emotion, her eyes deader than they ever should be.

The Hero of Hope no longer looked very heroic.

And probably why was because of the dark crimson blood splattered on her face and costume. It dripped down her tightly clenched fist, joining the puddle of blood at her feet.

"You're supposed to be my arch-nemesis." She whispered. "Why? Why aren't you mine?"

She took a step forwards as I quickly scampered to my feet and took one back. She stepped forwards once more, completely focused on me as I took another one back.

"You left me, and then decided to go and frolic with The Maid, Mother Wasp, Alexis Cromwell, that freaking goth girl..." Stellar spat. "...and then even Hikari."

"Amnesia, huh?" Stellar scarily chuckled. "Then I'll make sure I'm the ONLY one you remember. No one else will have you. I'm all you need. After all..."

"YOU'RE MINE." She grinned, showing me a psychotic face that never belonged on the face of the "Hero of Hope".

And here we are, dear readers.

Back to the beginning, with this psycho, murderous hero obsessing over me.

This wasn't how things were supposed to go. What the hell happened to Stellar? What the hell is going on?

Well, as they say, there ain't no rest for the wicked.

Haha...

...I'm so fucked.
