Meet at this location tomorrow at 5:00 PM.

27 Kyler Street.

Don't be late.

~ Mother Wasp.

I brought the paper down, looking at the house in front of me. Well, this should be the place.

I turned around, looking up to a nearby roof where Sophie's face peeked out from above. The robotic lines on her face were covered up, Hikari having taught Sophie how to use the make up to hide them. I gave her a nod, slipped on my ski mask and then walked up to the door and knocked on it.

The door opened, revealing good ol Todd.

I gave him a nod, receiving a grunt in response. I walked inside of the house, seeing a living room, kitchen, and stairs up to a second floor. In the kitchen was a brown wooden table with six chairs, Mother Wasp being sat at the head of the table.

"I'm not surprised you're the first." She smirked. "Please, come sit down, dearie."

She pat the seat closest to her. I slowly approached, sitting down in the chair. She leaned her head onto her hand, looking at me with her one eye.

"The other four should be here soon." She stated. "For their own sake."

She chuckled to herself, like she just made a joke. I frankly can't really tell. You never know with these supervillains.

I continued to sit there, nervously sweating as she simply continued to look at me. Finally the door opened once again, a few people coming in. Four more goons walked into the room, finding chairs to sit in.

And considering the glare I can feel burning into my side, I think the other promoted guy from two weeks ago is here as well.

"Perfect, you're all right on time." She stated. She stood up, holding both edges of the table with her hands. "The base also hasn't been taken down by heroes yet. Either the captured didn't spill, or more likely, the heroes are waiting for me to return there."

"Now, let's get onto business." Mother Wasp continued. "Before I make my debut, I have some jobs I need complete."

"You two." She pointed to the one furthest to her. "I need you two to get money. I don't care how it's done. But get a decent amount in a week."

The two nodded.

"You can leave now." Mother Wasp waved them off.

They stood up, walking out of the building. Okay, I guess this is going to be quick.

"You two." She pointed to that one angry dude and the other grunt. "Find a suitable location for a new base. We may need it. One week. Now go."

The other two stood up, leaving. I felt like I could feel the man's glare on my back until the door shut and they were gone.

"And now for you..." Mother Wasp spoke, sitting onto the table. "...you have the most important job."

And yet there's only one of me?

Eh, not really complaining.

"I want you to infiltrate Killian Stromford's penthouse at the top of the Stromford Industries building." She stated. "And I want you to trash it. Make sure he knows someone was there."

That's...not what I was expecting at all.

"And if you happen to find any interesting info, especially on something called 'Project I-Genome', then do bring it back with you." She continued.

"How long do I have?" I asked.

"A week." She stated. "Though I would suggest doing it tonight or tomorrow. The morning after tomorrow Stromford's dear CEO returns from out of the city. I would complete the job while the penthouse is empty."

She got up from the table, walking towards the entrance before turning back around. "I expect a job well done from you and your little robot friend. So don't disappoint me, dearie."

And with that she left.

...she's a scary lady. I'll never be able to look at a bee the same way again.

Well, crap. Trashing a place isn't hard. If anything, that'll be kinda fun. I'm sure one of you understands the curiosity of what it would be like to destroy a whole room and everything in it.

The hard part is getting there. Sounds like the penthouse is the very top floor of the Stromford Industries building, and that is one tall building. It's nothing like the facilities.

That's their HQ.

And Project I-Genome, huh? I don't like the sound of that.

I left the building, removing my ski mask and meeting back up with Sophie to catch her up on the job I was given. We quietly talked while walking back to the apartment.

"The penthouse is the top floor, Master." Sophie softly stated. "We could enter from the roof."

"How do we get up to the roof?" I questioned.

"I can carry you up there, Master." Sophie answered.

"Could you do it at night and keep us from being seen?" I asked.

Sophie nodded.

"Then we have our plan." I stated. "Let's do this."

After hours of preparation and planning it out Sophie and I stood on a nearby roof, looking up at the skyscraper that is Stromford Industries headquarters.

It was the dead of night, the sky pitch black other than the half moon. The clock approached midnight, and it was finally time to roll.

I was in all black, wearing black pants, a black hoodie, and of course my black ski mask. As for my new partner in crime...

"Why are you wearing the maid outfit?" I facepalmed.

"We are on a job, Master." She tilted her head. "I must wear my proper attire."

Two weeks living with you and I still don't understand you any more.

"Never mind." I sighed. "At least wear the ski mask too."

Sophie nodded, pulling out a ski mask I've lent to her and putting it on. We can't be letting people see her face either. After all, those mismatched colored eyes aren't common.

"Are you ready?" I asked.

Sophie nodded. She picked me up into a princess carry hold, reminding me of the day we first met. From her back came out two little jets, going through a custom made opening in the back of her maid outfit that Sophie did herself.

The jets activated as we started to float, followed by the bottom of her feet which also had integrated jets.

Yep. That's right, she can fly as well. This robot is freaking overpowered, I swear.

Not that I'll argue!

We started to fly through the air as quick as we could. There shouldn't be any nighttime patrolling heroes interrupting us as long as we get up there fast.

I glanced down, seeing the incredible height we were at, before looking back up at the sky. A few seconds later we finally arrived to the top, where I was so happy to touch some ground again. Even if it was the roof of a skyscraper.

"Sophie, you're amazing and all..." I panted. "...but I hope I never do that again. Or at least don't let me look down next time."

"Understood, Master." Sophie stated as the jets in her back receded back into her. She walked over to a rooftop skylight, peering through the windows. "I found our entry."

"Perfect." I nodded, walking over and peering through the windows as well. This will drop us right into his penthouse.

Sophie smashed her fist through one of the windows, shattering it and causing glass to litter across the floor. She dropped down, before holding her arms out as she waited for me.

Avoiding the sharp edges of glass at the ends I dropped down, getting caught by Sophie. She set me back down where I wouldn't step on glass, before the both of us looked around.

"Alright, Sophie. Look around and do this quickly." I stated. "Let's do this before anyone arrives."

Maybe I should've bought some more info from Davon. But for something as high profile as the CEO's penthouse, it would've cost so much...

Let's see where to start...

Oh, let's start with this stone statue of Killian Stromford's face. I'm very tempted to chuck it out the window if I wasn't afraid of accidentally murdering some random that decided they wanted to walk at night.

Instead, let's chuck this at something else!

I picked up the stone statue, grunting as it was a little heavier than I expected. I walked over to a door to another room in the penthouse, throwing the head into the door and causing the door to break off its hinges and slam to the ground.

Sophie tore a television off of the wall, chucking it into another wall and leaving a hole. She then proceeded to flip the couch and shatter the glass table in front of it.

I looked back at the now open room, walking inside to find an office. There was a desk with a bunch of papers scattered on it, a bookshelf, and then another shelf filled with awards.

I think I know what I gotta do.

I started throwing trophies to the ground, grabbing them and chucking them all around the room. I'm not going to lie, this is actually very fun.

Sorry about your trophy, but it's getting thrown through the wall!

I should probably check the papers now that I've thrown all of these trophies around. I shuffled through all of the papers, but nothing really stood out. Looks like it's a bunch of boring financial stuff. I don't see any illegal deals or anything else.

Anything interesting in the drawers? Nope.

Time to flip the table!

I then picked up the chair, slamming it down onto the table multiple times to break both. Throwing away the broken chair, I walked over to the final part of the room.

The bookshelf!

I started to throw books off of the shelves, further littering the room. One by one I pushed them all of, until one of them resisted. I grabbed at it, confused, and pulled hard.

And then I started hearing mechanisms.

The bookshelf moved backwards, and then to the side, revealing a new, hidden room behind the bookshelf the whole time.

Cliché, much?

Make a more interesting secret room next time, Killian Stromford. Maybe next time I won't actually find it with my impeccable genius.

"Sophie! Come over here!" I yelled out.

I heard her footsteps as she quickly came over to where I was. She turned towards the secret opening, and then back to me.

We walked in together, looking around. It seemed like a mini lab, with a high tech computer and a desk filled with scientific stuff.

"Sophie. Think you can hack this?" I asked, pointing at the computer.

Sophie walked over to the computer. Her cord shot out from the back of her neck, where she then grabbed it and plugged it into the computer.

"I am not good at hacking, Master." Sophie stated. "I can get it and download information, but that is all."

"That'll work." I nodded. "How long?"

"A good few minutes, Master." Sophie answered.

"Alright. I'll go break some more things and keep an eye out." I stated. "Find me when you're done."

I walked back out of the office, looking at the main trashed room of the penthouse. This living room has been utterly destroyed. The kitchen too.

I'd say we trashed this place pretty well.

And then, to my horror, the elevator dinged. The doors opened as a man stepped through. He wore a suit and sunglasses despite the fact it was midnight and indoors.

"To think that the person that broke in was a simple grunt." The man spoke. "How did you get so far away from where you're supposed to be, little one?"

"I have my tricks." I grinned, reaching behind me and quickly pulling out my pistol. "And I'd advise you stay back."

"Funny." The man rasped. "The little one thinks he is a threat. Flycatcher will prove you otherwise."

And from his back sprouted out four, sleek black mechanical spider legs.

Well shit.

I pulled the trigger.
